Tiene capacidad para muchas personas y por momentos se siente abarrotado y poco tranquilo. No es un lugar para descansar.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026Pequeño y colorido hostel, muy rústico con personal muy amigable. Buena ubicación a sólo minutos del monumento y la iglesia. Con instalaciones básicas. Estaba prácticamente desocupado durante la noche que me hospedé, probablemente porque en este pueblo no hay tanta vida como en otros de alrededor. Me hospedé en una habitación privada con baño compartido y estuvo decente para pasar una noche.
Los sanitarios son muy pequeños e incómodos

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026Lo mejor es la buena onda de los que trabajan ahí, te hacen sentir como en casa y están siempre dispuestos a ayudarte y asesorarte. Las instalaciones prolijas, la terraza un plus, el desayuno es simple pero tiene todo lo necesario, sobre todo por el precio. Volvería.
Estaría bueno sumar alguna ducha individual o alguna divida para solo mujeres

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026I loved absolutely everything about Giramundo! As soon as I walked in, I was surprised with the place, by how much more beautiful and amazing it looks compared to the pictures. The staff was so kind and the breakfast was great too. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to stay here. The town of Humahuaca is also stunning, such a cute place with history, nature, and activities to do around.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026La ubicación, el personal del hostel es lo más!! (te orientan muy bien y dan buenas recomendaciones, además de la buena onda todo el tiempo). También que venga con desayuno incluido y la cocina es super completa! También está muy bueno que a las 12 se corta la música y se respeta el horario de silencio.
Creo que el aspecto a mejorar son los baños (duchas), al estar en un espacio cerrado (sin ventilación) y ser mixtas, eran un poco incómodos. Por otro lado nosotros estuvimos en la habitación privada para 2 personas y el colchón era muuuy blandito y te hundías, por lo que no dormimos tan cómodos.

The dorm room was directly in front of the outdoor "lounge" area, so any smoking smell comes into the room. Loud because of the noises from people talking and loud music from 8:30am-midnight daily. The showers weren't the cleanest and didn’t allow space for hanging things or getting changed.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The place is well decorated and located in the heart of the village. The staff was very helpful explaining the different activities in and around Humahuaca as well as how to organize them. The bed is comfortable and many blankets are provided. The room is quaint and well kept.
Due to the location of our room, staff would congregate in front of it during the evening and talk loudly for several hours while we were attempting to sleep. Moreover, there was loud music playing until 12pm. This was cumbersome as we often wanted to sleep earlier.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026People, working there, are extremely friendly and they helped me with everything. If I weren't in a hurry to go to another place, I would have stayed there longer. There is a place where you can wash your clothes and then hang them on terrace. You can cook there, and there is lots of place to just sit and chill. And they cook guiso soup on Wednesday, so if you want, you can have hot and tasty local dinner

It appears to not even had basic maintenance done for atleast the last 10+ years. Only 3 toliets - all had issues, none flushed properly, one ran constantly all over the floor. Locks on bedroom doors don't line up properly. You can tell this hostel was good once upon a time - but lack of maintenance has really let it done. Plenty of other hostels in the area - pick one of them instead.

O modelo de banheiro escolhido não dá muita privacidade, podem ser melhorados, assim como a instalação de armários (lockers) para a guarda de documentos (no mínimo).

Que no haya espacios para compartir sin que se oiga el ruido de las otras personas. Que el personal se ponga a hablar entre ellos casi gritando en el espacio común y no se pueda ni hablar por teléfono. Que te apaguen la luz a las doce en los espacios comunes por orden de los dueños, ni se pueda hacer uso de ningún otro espacio a esa hora así sea en silencio.

La actitud de la voluntarias no tenían un trato muy cordial, el hecho que no den toalla es malísimo ya que todo viajero las usa, las instalaciones dejaron un poco que desear, el desayuno se sirve tarde, y una vez hecho el check out no te dejan disfrutar de las instalaciones, que de por sí eran malas.

No lockers in the dorm rooms, triple bunk beds (I think if the dorm had been full it would have been very cramped) and just a rack of plug sockets on one wall which everyone shared.

Reviewed Nov 28, 2025Hostel de muy buena onda, espíritu de hostel. Sólo los baños, siempre los vi limpios pero de poca intimidad. No dudo en volver a elegirlo. Las camas de tres pisos pueden ser molestas, y algún detalle podría mejorar, pero en total es muy buena elección, buen personal, asesoran bien, el desayuno muy bueno, buena música, dibujos murales y en mesas excelentes.
Los baños podrían ser mejores, con más intimidad y con las puertas mejor orientadas. Los baños están afuera, o sea que con lluvia no sé cómo sería el tema, si vas al baño de noche, un poquito fresco... Faltaría una mesa en las habitaciones para no tener que armar valijas en el piso, y tal vez un poco mejor la iluminación en habitaciones, pero son detalles.
