Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich, lieb und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung war super, in der Küche konnte man gut kochen und sogar gegen 4€ seine Wäsche waschen. Auf der Terrasse konnte man gut sitzen und seine Klamotten aufhängen. Insgesamt war es sehr sauber und schön. Besonders gut fanden wir das vierbeinige Personal, welches einem gelegentlich einen Besuch abgestattet hat :)

Molto affollato, non è stato facile utilizzare i servizi, in alcuni orari è stato complicato riuscire a farsi una doccia. La struttura da fuori non fa una bella impressione, dentro è semplice ma c'è tutto.

Fica próximo do centro e das praias principais, praia da dona Ana, estudantes, São Camilo. Centro charmoso, próximo da padaria central ótimos preços. Restaures maravilhosos O pomo é um deles. O Hostel fica bem localizado, muito limpo. O quarto duplo uma maravilha. Banheiros limpos e cheirosos, roupas de camas limpas. Cama confortável. Amei toda experiência.

I am not sure what other reviews are complaining about regarding it not being clean. I found the bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom all perfectly tidy and clean. For the price, I cannot imagine anything better!

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026I stayed at White Sun Hostel for 10 days and it really feels like home, it was my second time there :) The owners are a lovely portuguese couple, they are kind and ready to help with what you need. The location is great! In a calm area, but very close to the center. The whole hostel is always very clean: rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, rooftop... There are some people staying kind of long term and some travelers staying for a few days, wich creates a nice and calm atmosfere. The price for what they offer is very good! I'll definetely be back :)

The organization in the kitchen was not there. If you bought your own food, there were no stickers nor markers to put it up so others don’t touch them. Someone ate my food and put all my food to his shelf like it was his own. And the reception was not open to report so that was not nice. Even though it was mostly the guest’s problem, the property could have already managed all these better

Reviewed Apr 4, 2026Staff were very helpful and other guests were friendly, though at times loud even though it was bedtime. Great price! The rooms have a lot of natural light and the balcony was very nice! Excellent that they had clotheslines, too. The bar/pool hall downstairs was cool as well.
Bathrooms were very dirty for half of my stay. The kitchen is rather old and not a great facility.
