My bedside charging point was not working , I was unable to charge my phone during the stay which was really pathetic. Other than this few rooms where not having washroom people from that room was coming to our washroom. HYGIENE is big no .

Dog jumps on people to bite them , almost bit me twice and the owner says ignore the dog. Well I wasn't giving it any Attention to begin with . Shitty rooms ,one bathroom for all rooms. Worst hostel in Mysore. Utilise your money elsewhere.

The smoke area can be in one place. Non smokers are not comfortable including me. Please think about it and make the changes. That helps a lot of people to have a peaceful time in zostel.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2025The area surrounding my bed was very poorly maintained. Also, there were small insects all over my bed for the entire night which gave me hives throughout the night. Other than that the staff and owners are pretty chill. Good place to chill and hangout.

There should be more washroom and toilet in this zostel as you are hosting too many solo travelers that too in 1 room with 8 mix dorm beds and providing only 1 common mix washroom+ toilet together.

Reviewed Nov 16, 2024The rooms are good, and the hotel staff is helpful. You also have a kitchen where you can cook and borrow cutlery. The best part is its location. Eateries are within walking distance and have lots of greenery. Zostel Mysore is a good budget place to stay!

Reviewed Sep 30, 2024I have stayed in about 4-5 zostels across India now, and this has to be the least likeable experience. Although the host was welcoming, had to spend about 10-15 minutes uploading documents which is okay. But despite booking through booking.com and them having all my details, I was disturbed in the middle of the night (around 11pm) for my e-mail id which was very irritating. I mean c'mon, you can wait till the next morning for this information. Also asked for a small body soap and that was also not available (to purchase) at the venue. Apart from this most of the girls in the female dorm which I booked were not cordial. They were speaking loudly in the middle of the night which added to the noises coming from outside. The acoustic proofing of the rooms are not at all good. Had a very light sleep. Guests can be told while checking in to follow certain rules like respect each other's space, volume and overall behaviour. There was other guest's luggage bags on my bed when i had just stepped out of the room which is so dirty to deal with. The pillow was also brownish and I had to put my own sheet on it and sleep. Room super cramped and conjusted. Overall not my best experience at zostel, scope for a lot of improvement.

Reviewed May 28, 2024Location was peace but it's far away from railway station if someone who travel from bus or train will be facing difficulties,
When I asked about sightseeing places, a lady in receptionist was confused, lacking about the places, she simply gave me a pic of places nearby and said just go to busstand you will find out I'll show you the picture which I captured it from her phone !! . and No Frequency of Buses to City Bus Stand Can take rapido or auto will charge around 36₹
