Happy Panda Hostel Arambol Goa

Back here for the second time, and honestly, Happy Panda still feels like a home away from home. The warmth, care, and positive vibe here are something really special. Both Sourabh and Kartik bros once again made the stay super comfortable and memorable with their kindness and helpful nature. The hostel is always clean, cozy, and full of good energy, and the food is still one of my favorite parts of staying here. Met some amazing people again, had great conversations, and created beautiful memories. It’s rare to find a place that feels this welcoming every single time. Grateful for another amazing stay already looking forward to coming back again soon.

Un sitio ideal. Cerca de todo pero a la vez lo suficientemente alejado del ruido. El staff es increíblemente amable, está super limpio, hay una zona en la que poder practicar yoga, hacen actividades por la noche… no se puede pedir más

all was good, would have stayed longer if I had a bed in the room with A/C, was quite hot when I was there.

Had a really good stay at Happy Panda Hostel in Arambol. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. This was actually my first hostel where I got to meet so many people, the vibe is very social and open. They also host activities, which makes it easy to connect with others and not feel awkward if you’re traveling solo. Overall, a great place if you’re looking to meet people and have a fun, friendly experience. Would definitely recommend!

Staff is amazing! The hostel is well run with daily events and a tasty menu on offer daily. Free yoga classes, you name it! You must stay here.

- The hostel is next to the main road which can be noisy at times - We were playing Werewolf multiple nights with the house rule the only role you can claim to be is a "villager". Claiming different roles as a werewolf and for the seer to strategically decide when to disclose themselves as well as info discovered during the night is a core part of the game, overall making for a strange experience as no new factual claims or information were shared at any point during a game. I love social deduction games but found this house version underwhelming. The host was very kind and friendly though so it's all good! 👌🏻

Best hostel I have stayed at in India so far. All the staff is so helpful and friendly, they make you feel right at home as soon as you step in. It's very easy to meet other travelers in the common areas and thanks to the social activities organised every evening. There is everything you need in the dorm, beds are very comfy, and I like that there are bathrooms in the dorms as well as outside. And it's always so clean! Shout out to the cleaning staff who is amazing. You can get food and drinks directly at the hostel too, which is very convenient. Location is great as well! Such a fantastic place, I will definitely come back if I am in Goa again!

I was at female room and it was too cosy, clean and convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful, guests were very friendly and polite to each other too. It looks like a community of friends ❤️ Very cosy and beautiful common space, clean kitchen with drink water, outdoor space where people from hostel like to spend the time together

Kartik and Saurab best people you can find as host. Very genuine, respectful n caring personalities. Keep you up n entertaining. Felt like brothers. Neat n tidy place. Good food. Just awesome place!

Hotel was very accessible and walkable. Owners were kind, helpful and hospitable. The hostel was clean and had great breakfast. Bathroom and kitchen facilities were clean. The community areas were cleaned daily around hang out spaces (meditation area and sitting areas)

Happy panda is one of those rare places where everything just feels right. You meet the right kind of people, open, respectful, and genuinely interesting, while still having enough personal space. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming, not in a forced way but in a way that makes you feel at home from day one. Whether you feel like socialising or just being on your own, the space allows for both beautifully.

Went for a short 3 day trip and I was so mad at myself for booking for such a short span. The property has a great vibe to it, very friendly for bag packers, workations, leisure, and absolutely everything else that you would want to come to Goa for. Sourabh and Kartik are the perfect hosts. The property is clean, cosy, friendly, food is fantastic too.

Maybe they can add more beds. It gets sold out pretty soon specially during peak travel months.

There are places where we see the effort and attention that is given. This is one of them. It's not easy, and not many manage to maintain something at this level. So take advantage and stay here if you have the chance. I won't mention names or give any more praise so nobody thinks it's a bought review 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Accidentally booked a non AC dorm but that's on me, there was a little mishap with the drinking bill but we settled it with the hostel managers so no worries :) Bathrooms are a bit far from the dorm and nothing too fancy

The place has a nice atmosphere and the staff is really helpful and sympathetic. The food they serve there is amazing and quite cheap. The dorms are clean and the toilets too.

The location is not the best in Arambol, but it's not far from the places you will end up going while staying in Arambol.

Stayed here for a few nights and absolutely loved it. The hostel is clean, well-managed, and the staff clearly cares about keeping things running smoothly. The social events were the highlight for being fun super fun and a great way to meet people. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a great community vibe.

Had such an amazing time here — seriously, highly highly recommend! Met some truly beautiful humans, ate way too much yummy food, and now regretting not booking all my days here. 😄 Kartik and Sourab are absolute gems… the way they run this hostel, keep everything spotless, and treat guests like family is just 👏❤️ Also, I’m 100% sure they’ll never forget me after the ‘couple joke’ incident… ha ha! Sourabh and Karthik will make sure you're comfortable and well taken care of. I came for 2 day stay and extended my stay for next 5 days, I didn't change hostel. my friends were in other hostel, visited those hotels but those hostel didnt have the good energy vibe that i was looking for. Vibe is incredible , welcoming , full of energy in Happy Panda. Hostel provides free Wi-Fi more then 200mbs speed so you can do your WFH at ease. AC and Non AC dorms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with secure locker for your belonging, clean bedsheets are provided everyday (6 friendly staff works under Sourabh and Karthik always ready to help if your need any assistance yeah) Non AC dorms with separate fan placed for each bed and that fan breeze in morning, WOW it cools and comforts you so much that you don't want to get out of bed. Any Events , Shows , Parties, Restaurants or anything in Goa especially Arambol that you're not sure of, please ask Kartik and Sourabh (in particular) he tells you the vibe of that place, its so accurate that you would enjoy that place alot Sourabh suggested me to visit Cafe S F Xaview for traditional goa restaurant for lunch as i was heading it back to Mapusa. Ordered Fish thali for 270rs. it had 5 sea food different dishes in thali. had beef dishes also wow , I loved these dishes. will visit this hidden gem restaurant in Mapusa again when i am back to Goa. Thank you Sourabh. Sourabh and Kartik knows which place has best Resturant and other activities. so close your eyes and stay in Happy Panda. you would love it for sure. It's the second time I'm coming to this hostel and this is litterally the best hostel I've been going so far, I keep extending again and again! Everything is clean, comfortable, food and drinks are great and cheap! The owners are amazing and funny. Also the volonteers bring such a good vibe with daily activities!!

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. I had a long flight, then my train was delayed in Mumbai, and I was mentally exhausted, but as soon as I entered the hostel, I was immediately greeted by super friendly staff and guests. I immediately relaxed, took a sip of cold beer, and began to enjoy the atmosphere of Goa. The hostel is also very clean, the beds are comfortable, and I like that there are curtains on each bed and a large storage for your belongings that can be locked. The food is also delicious. Thank you.

I absolutely loved my stay at Happy Panda! The property is very clean, cozy, and well-maintained, which is rare to find in hostels. It’s also a super social place, and I ended up making so many amazing friends here. If you’re a solo traveler, this hostel makes you feel at home instantly. The owners, Kartik and Sourabh, are honestly the best, extremely friendly, helpful, and always around if you need anything. You can feel that they put their heart into the place. The location is perfect, right in the center of Arambol, close to cafes, shops, and just a short walk to the beach. There’s also a great rooftop/common area where everyone hangs out, the vibe is chill, and it’s easy to join group activities or just relax. Overall, it’s one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in — clean, social, safe, and full of good energy. Highly recommend!

I originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying almost a week. The atmosphere is genuinely relaxing, everything is clean, and the kitchen serves delicious food. Karthik and Sourabh create a warm, welcoming vibe from the moment you arrive. Highly recommend!

Happy Panda is a beautiful space made even more beautiful by the people who run it (Sourabh and Kartik). Every time I return to Goa, I fall in love with the city a little more… and Happy Panda, along with the happiest pandas, make it easier for me to return as I never have to think twice about my stay.. No matter how far I travel for work/partying, I know I’d still choose to stay here over anywhere else. The hosts are incredibly helpful, genuinely respectful, and go above and beyond for every individual who walk through those doors. No matter where you’re from, warmth, kindness, and the comfort of being yourself will greet you every time you walk into that place. Here’s to the place that fills every trip with joy..

I rarely post reviews but trust me this hostel is very good in terms everything like cleanliness, safety wise, Socialization etc... especially because of their good hostel policies.. you will meet so many solo travellers.. and I must say that Karthik bhai from Pune is a gem.... always ready help and always tries to create a good vibes for Socialization... just hop in here... especially during any festivals... you will enjoy your stay..✌️
