Overall, everything was good. However, the air conditioning in the common area was not working, making it uncomfortable to sit there. I had to book another dorm for a few hours while waiting for my bus because the owner did not allow me to stay in the dorm after checkout during the waiting period.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Go stops amritsar is excellent, if we go to the top ,i can see Sikh shrines _ Shaheed Ganj Baba Deep Singh ji,Where funeral of Baba Deep Singh ji done,Gurdwara Ramsar sahib_where first Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji Written and Gurdwara Bibeksar sahib_ where if anyone do ishnaan with guidence,get the grace to be intelligent _ _ another side ,i see Gurdwara Baba Atal Rai sahib_ the Great sikh personality,He is appointed as the head of Amritsar city by sixth Sikh Guru sahib_ Shri Guru Hargobind sahib ji ,anyone facing problems in money,marriage anything _ go and do darshan ___ properly is neat and clean_ very comfortable, i booked many times due to comfort_price and due to the view from the top. Its close to Golden Temple and other Sikh Shrines which are the pillars of Sikhism , staff is very friendly _ speak politely , One thing i make sure _ if anyone booking dormantory _ its safe _ because u get locker _ when the first time i book _ i was in fear will my belongings will safe _ but i take the risk _ and booked _ i not only get the locker _ but plug socket near the bed (near every bed) personal fan _ room can be cool if you turn on Ac , a separate light , curtain for privacy and bathroom.

The best part for me was the privacy and convenience they offered, especially the secure locker system and door access that could be unlocked only through the mobile application. The keyless experience was absolutely amazing and made the stay feel very modern, safe, and hassle-free. Apart from that, the overall hostel vibe was fantastic. The atmosphere was lively, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing as well as meeting new people. I also really enjoyed the games and recreational activities available at the hostel, which made the experience even more fun and memorable. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I would definitely love to visit again.

The service is too slow, the rooms don’t have a full length mirror. The curtains in the room were broken. The staff was not polite and told us that we are the ones complaining. The rooms were not ready despite late arrival. Overall, I think there are better alternatives even if you’re on a budget, that said the location is amazing.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026The building was at a walking distance of the major attractions of the city without being inside the busy quarters, it was very convenient. The staff was casual, nice and helpful, especially the women at the reception ( who advised me good places to go in Amritsar) as well as Pankaj and Vishal. The large and cozy common areas were great to chill a bit. The plus of this hostel is definitely the application which provide experiences to do Amritsar for the people staying in the hostel. I also wanted to point out the calm of the hostel, we cannot here the buzzling streets from the bedroom, perfect for a good rest.
May be the bathroom could be clean more regularly.

One of the biggest highlights was the early check-in, the staffs were extremely accommodating and made sure I was comfortable from the moment I arrived, which is a huge relief after a long journey. The staff members deserve special appreciation. Everyone was warm, polite, and genuinely helpful. Their cordial nature and willingness to assist with anything—be it local tips or stay-related queries—made the experience even more pleasant and homely. The amenities are excellent and well-maintained. Clean and comfortable rooms, good common areas to relax and socialize, and an overall vibrant yet peaceful atmosphere make this hostel a perfect choice for solo travelers as well as groups. If you’re planning a trip to Amritsar, I would highly recommend staying at Go Stops Hostel. It’s great value for money, offers fantastic hospitality, and makes your visit to the city even more memorable. I’d definitely choose this place again on my next visit!
