The pillows aren’t good

L’emplacement est vraiment parfait, tout s’est bien passé à l’arrivée même si tout est autonome. Il n’y a personne pour vous accueillir, mais les informations et la communication étaient excellentes. L’endroit est calme, tout était parfait ! Il faut seulement savoir qu’il n’y a pas de casiers pour ranger ses effets, mais je me suis sentie en sécurité.

Beds too close to each other

The host, Marcelo was very flexible, he let us check-in earlier and keep our luggages there longer. The apartment is like a home with an extraordinary style, one of the most unique accomodations I have ever stayed in. Perfect location and view, special feeling. Thanks for creating and sharing this cozy place, Marcelo!

The only unpleasant thing were the loud noises coming from the water pipeline while the other guests were using it.

Beautiful collection and decorations in the house. We enjoyed art pieces from worldwide. Sofa and bench in the common living area. Tiny balcony in the sleeping room was cute.

As there were around 10 beautiful lights or stands, more than a half of them was not available due to the cable connection or no light bulbs. Staff said to fix it but not. I think we can enjoy moments in the beautiful living room more with lights properly.

Ñ gostei da cama , tive a impressao que não trocaram os lençois, dormir encima deles cm certo reseio🙈 ,a noite ñ tem boa iluminaçao no quarto,

Cuando llegué al Hostel sobre las 21 horas no estaban las llaves en el cajetín. Llamé varias veces al propietario y daba comunicando...imperdonable!!! Me fui a una posada varios números más abajo de la calle y la propietaria muy amable llamo a un amigo que contacto con el dueño. Me facilito una llave para entrar y no abría la puerta principal.... No me lo podía creer..... Después de una hora y media al final alguien de dentro de la casa me abrió la puerta y gracias a ello no dormí en la calle. Quiero una disculpa y una compensación por lo sucedido.

Todo, sobre todo la falta de solución por parte del propietario, gracias a su vecina que fue más profesional y me ayuda para no dormir en la calle.

The house is a beautiful place where you feel you're are like at home, all was just perfect, the staff very kind and helpful and the arrival instruction very clear , the location just perfect in the center, I will definetly come back :)

Incredibly comfortable, cute, quiet, and close to everything. I loved this place! And Óbidos was one of my favorite towns I visited on my one month visit to Portugal. I ended up heading back for the Medieval festival the following week. I would have booked this room again, but it was not available. Highly recommend!

Stove not really usable (only 1 weak burner worked), never saw the owner which was a little strange, needs more mugs (only 1 normal sized one)

L’arredamento é molto curato e crea un’atmosfera molto piacevole. Le camere sono ampie, pulite. Il bagno in comune é dotato di tutto il necessario, così come la cucina. La posizione é comoda e semplice da raggiungere.

Host was helpful when need it. Place is cozy and quiet. Decoration is quite nice. Bathroom was really great and especially clean.

Para mim o ambiente foi mágico. Caminhar lentamente pela sala, cozinha e parte superior onde ficava o quarto, repletos pela linda decoração, objetos simples e antigos. Simplesmente, pura magia! Localização perfeita, ao lado da muralha do Castelo de Óbidos.

A traditional house with nice decoration and details. The location is great because it's very close to the castle walls but at the same time it's very quiet with no noise from the tourists.

Posizione del'Ostello molto vicina al centro storico. Salone soggiorno molto ampio. Piacevole cortile esterno. Cucina piccola ma ben attrezzata.

Ingresso nell'Ostello complicato. Istruzioni per l'accesso impartite a distanza dal proprietario. Serratura e chiave malfunzionanti. Sono entrato solo grazie al supporto di un altro cliente che mi ha aperto la porta. Letti troppo vicini e mancanza di armadietti per i propri effetti personali.

The place is well decorated, spotless, and feels like a true home. Creative, friendly and overall charming. A unique and wonderful experience for this price range in Portugal.

The keys were a bit finicky and could use a refresh. The far away noise of the highway might be the only thing that prevents this from being the very best place in Portugal.

Process for getting in was a bit odd

Casa molto bella e arredata con ottimo gusto in posizione centrale. A due passi dalla fermata del bus e in pieno centro antico. La cucina fornita di ogni cosa (no cavatappi). I bagni a disposizione sono due, molto puliti e spaziosi. A disposizione di ogni ospite c'erano gli asciugamani. La camerata molto grande e pulita.

Il letto non era molto comodo ma ho dormito comunque senza problemi.

So so so clean and tidy!! Lovely kitchen and patio for hanging clothes. The lounge was cute and had plenty of space. The room was spacious and airy. Toilet was also clean and tidy.

Très bon emplacement et pas cher du tout. Il a de la place dans le village pour se garer.

Ce n’est pas un hôtel de tourisme mais plus une auberge de jeunesse. Tout est très très vieux dans la maison et même rouillé. Je n’ai pas osé prendre ma douche dans la baignoire.

방에서 이상한 냄새도 나고 침대가 너무 낡아서 울퉁불퉁해요. 물도 시원찮게 나와요.

Great location, well decorated, comfortable bed.

feels more like a private artistic home, lots of space downstairs, many nice art paintings, free coffee/tea, bigger kitchen even with terrace overlooking gardens, fridge, tableware, big shared sleeping room with flat beds (no bunk) is more comfortable, quick checkin, good communication with host, nice bathroom with a romantic view over the hills, you feel like in a countryside relax villa. Neighbourhood around quiet, city main square 5 mins away with restaurants & sides, even huge supermarkets within 17 mins walk, main bus stop just 5 mins away.

J'ai tout aimé dans la maison ! La décoration, l'ambiance, le confort avec les canapés, la petite terrasse, l'emplacement, etc. C'est très beau, c'est une vraie maison chaleureuse et très agréable. Même si personne n'est là pour nous accueillir, Marcelo a été très réactif et a rapidement répondu à mes messages.

Il a pas mal plu pendant mon séjour (en mars), et la maison était humide. Le radiateur à gaz du dortoir était éteint, et je n'ai pas réussi à le faire fonctionner. Heureusement la chambre double était inoccupée et j'ai pu prendre le radiateur qui s'y trouvait pour réchauffer un peu la grande chambre commune. Je suggèrerais qu'il y ait un autre radiateur facile à utiliser, ou bien les instructions d'allumage du radiateur à gaz.

Location excellent, decoration and general feel of the house very good.

My only concern was that it was very cold (Winter) and I could not light the fire and all gas canisters were empty. I’d suggest a laminated sheet of instructions to be placed to show how to light the log burner and where to buy essentials. Communication with the owner was very good and I eventually lit the fire. But apart from that it was a lovely house.
