Guatapé Country House Hotel

La atención del personal dispuesto a colaborar y su amabilidad

Todo estuvo bien

We had a lovely stay, our room had a wonderful view of trees and hills in the distance. Birds tweeting every morning. Quiet room overnight. A large room and bathrrom, comfortable bed, hot shower and big sliding doors that open onto a long balcony. Very clean. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful and fresh. Managers were very helpful and friendly. There is a pleasant 10 minute walk into town across the bridge that has nice views of lake, town and the rock. Top floor has a viewing deck of lakes, and the rock.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable room and a great balcony.

Clean, quiet and comfortable, our room had a lovely view and was set back from the road. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has an attractive, plant filled terrace where breakfast is served - it was a real pleasure to sit there with a coffee in the morning. It's a short walk along the road from the centre of town.

Excelente ubicación, muy buenas instalaciones, personal muy amable y atento, parqueadero espacioso, espacios comunes muy limpios y bonitos. Desayuno delicioso.

Pedi un corral para la bebe y si había

We loved the location of this hotel. Far enough away from the busy town but close enough to walk to restaurants. The ladies working there were so nice and helpful. They upgraded our room and it was stunning!! A huge terrace and a spa tub on the terrace. The king sized bed was very comfortable and we wound absolutely stay there again. The breakfast was a typical Colombian breakfast.

Everything was great!!

The beds were very comfortable, I had a room with a lovely balcony looking at the hillside, it was bright and clean. Great shower. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff.

It’s about a 10-15 min walk at night for a solo traveller. During the day I didn’t mind at all.

The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the view from the balcony was great, the facilities in the room were well maintained, the breakfast was delicious and varied, and above all the friendly staff who were always ready to help. Highly recommended.

The ubicación perfect …. Close to everything and far enough to sleep good. Very clean and minimalist room. Nice breakfast.

Coffee could improve. We always i aprecie good made coffee. Especially in Colombia.

Very friendly staff who went above and beyond . Every member of staff ensured that I got the best out of my stay .

Nothing

A great property. Very clean, comfortable room, lovely shared living spaces. Wonderful staff and good parking.

Charming hotel right outside the bridge leading to Guatape. Lovely strolls, birds chirping, yummy breakfast….. enjoy !!!

The hotel was great, the room was really comfortable and we had a lovely view of the garden, which they lit up at night. The staff were super accommodating and friendly and the breakfast was good. I'd recommend it 100%.

It's a 15-minute walk from the bus stop, but that wasn't a big deal for us at all, though. It's on the other side of the bridge, not in the town centre. That should not put you off because it's a fantastic hotel.

Great customer service and breakfast

Clean and good looking

Common areas are great with nice views of Penol. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was ok.

Gardens and views are great. The staff is amazing.

Lovely accommodation with friendly and helpful staff. I was unwell one morning and the staff brought my breakfast up to me. Breakfast was very tasty. The location is lovely, short 10 minute walk into town but still away from the noise.

The Wi-Fi doesn’t extend into the new build of the hotel. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi and the window in our room but we were given an alternative room in the old house with no issue. The Wi-Fi there was much better.

The hotel is in a great location. 10 minutes from centre. It is super safe do walking not a problem. My room was very big, nice view over the hill, extremely quiet at night. Good shower and hot. Staff were very, very friendly. I did not have breakfast so cannot report on that.

All was fine

Short walk to town. Great breakfast.

Bed size. Booked a queen and received a full size. Was told no queen was available. Paid extra for queen.

New looking, clean property, decent sized room with Netflix TV and balcony. Breakfast was fantastic and filling. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is a safe 10 minute walk from the centre.

It was all good.

Place is comfy, clean and a short walk from town. Great value for the money. Very friendly and helpful people.

Modern, clean and comfortable hotel. Huge terrace on the third floor with views of the town and La Piedra. Nice outdoor dining area for breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from town, across the bridge

Nice simple place for ONE NIGHT

The manager was very rude, if you can choose another place in town. Do it

Excellent attention and service

Nothing

Really nice hotel near the lake, still quiet. Super friendly staff, good internet and good breakfast.

While breakfast they cleaned the garden loud

La atencion

Friendly staff, good breakfast, accommodation under renovation, so everything is new

None

Lovely breakfast. Very good location

Limpio, tranquilo y acogedor

We loved this place! The staff were so warm and ready to help with anything and everything! a really good breakfast and nice rooms. it’s a 10min walk out of the main centre so a lot quieter!

Very friendly staff, good location, brand new room, clean, excellent breakfast. We felt very good and would definitely stay there again. Zeh owner even drove us to the bus terminal in Guatapé.

Nothing. In the moment some construction on going, but no issue at all.

Nothing

Poor breakfast! The whole room is so dark, especially the bathroom, where I can’t see my own face in the mirror. They didn’t change the bed sheet until we ask.

Excellent location, only 5 minute walk to the village, very quiet at night. The hostess is exceptional!! she makes you feel at home and goes out of her way to help you.

Very accommodating. Gave us a secure place to park our motorcycles. Arranged a small breakfast for us even though we needed to leave very early.

Place is currently under construction as they are adding a big multi-story section beside the existing house. No noise problem as we were there just for night.
