Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Lovely place to stay. Even when you do the self-check-in you can feel the host's friendly and caring atmosphere. Hostel is situated right in the centre of the small town with small cozy kitchen, balcony and living room, great choice for trekkers.

Il n'y a pas d'AC, mais la nuit est fraiche donc j'ai dormi avec la porte du balcon ouverte. Le seul bémol est que le balcon est communiquant avec la chambre d'à côté et eux aussi ont dormi la porte ouverte donc un peu stressant si quelqu'un veut aller dans ta chambre

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026The people here, the host, the vibe of the hostel itself, the atmosphere but also how it’s been decorated is very much like home and made for people to feel comfortable. After the very commercial hostels i’ve been to this was a breath of fresh air, a way to reload before continuing my travels, and a place i won’t soon forget…
The bathroom smelled like mold and wasn’t amazing, but nothing bad for a couple of days:)

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026So far the best hostel along the rota vicentina! Staff welcoming and fun, kitchen super clean and well equipped (maybe I would add some condiments), the bunk beds have curtains which help in privacy and to sleep in the dark
The door of dorm 4 was quite noisy, it could use some oil. I had to leave super early in the morning and I was afraid to wake the other guests up

Kleine Abzüge für die Sauberkeit der Küche. Das war auf der Rota Vicentina woanders besser.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Ambiente geral do Hostel é muito acolhedor e simpático. A anfitriã é muito gentil e atenciosa, que faz com que nos sintamos em casa desde o primeiro momento. Ó check-in foi muito fácil e flexível, o quarto acolhedor e confortável, com boa luz e arejado. A cama é confortável e tem uma luz de presença e uma tomada para cada pessoa. As zonas comuns são limpas e confortáveis, quer a cozinha, a sala de estar ou o terraço. Cozinha com o equipamento básico necessário. Lozalização ótima, perto da zona de restaurantes e de pequenas mercearias. Pudemos ficar na zona comum mesmo após o check-out, enquanto esperávamos a hora do autocarro.
A água quente é limitada pelo que tomámos um banho mais curto por respeito aos outros hóspedes - depois de um dia de caminhada no trilho eu teria apreciado um longo banho. Na noite em que ficámos havia barulho de pessoas a conversar e rir na rua até muito tarde

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026Hostel přímo v centru městečka. Využila jsem na Fisherman trail jako všichni ostatní v hostelu. Tedy hostel byl plný, koupelny jsou dvě ale i tak jsem dlouho nečekala. Paní má vedle obchůdek a byla nápomocná s čímkoliv bylo potřeba.

Reviewed May 29, 2026The worst night of my life, the most uncomfortable bed that made a noise every twist and turn I made. Do not stay in room 5 on 2d floor. You will regret it. And, aside from check in, a totally absent management so no one I could complain to, and try and improve the situation, i checked multiple times and nothing.

Reviewed May 27, 2026Super schönes Hostel mit einer tollen Dachterasse! Die Bäder und die Küche sind super sauber und gut ausgestattet. Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Betten haben Vorhänge.
Man hat stark gemerkt wenn sich die Person über oder unter einem bewegt hat, die Betten sind also nicht sehr stabil aber ausreichend für eine Nacht.

Reviewed May 20, 2026Ik vond de sfeer in Hostel Seixe heel prettig. Het wordt gerund door creatieve mensen er hangen leuke kunstwerken aan de muren. Het stapelbed heeft gordijntjes waardoor je toch je eigen plek hebt in de dorm. De wasmachine op het dakterras is gratis te gebruiken en er hangen waslijnen.
De kluisjes werken met een slotje en sleutel dit vind ik persoonlijk minder handig.

You can literally hear flushing toilet and water all day long, and night. It’s very disturbing as the area is small and 5 rooms (including dorms) are situated around 2 bathrooms. If somebody is using the bathroom, you know about it. As there are always lots of people, its all the time.

Reviewed May 7, 2026De sfeer was fijn. Eenvoudig maar schoon en gezellig. Fijn dakterras. Prima keuken en kleine zitkamer om anderen te ontmoeten. Locatie goed midden in het dorp maar wel redelijk rustig straatje. Hosts heel vriendelijk. Bedden konden met gordijntjes worden afgesloten. Ik sliep in de dorm voor 4 vrouwen.

Reviewed May 7, 2026*MUST VISIT HOSTEL* I was walking Rota Vincentina and stoped for a night in this hostel. Nice and warm welcome of owner Matthias and little chitchat with him make you figure out that this hostel is more than a place you will just pass. Also, had a talk with his wife Nadine (she is so nice and cheerful person) and gain from her lot of knowledge about place, surrounding area, people and etc. She gave me a postcard like a little sign of welcome. Hostel have everything you need for pleasant and comfortable stay. Fridge with beer is victory after whole day of walking. You grab a (few) beers and go on rooftop of hostel to chill and enjoy (rooftop have a view in direction of old windmill, which is on top of the city Odeciexe)..of course do not forget refills the fridge and leave 1euro per a bier into a small bucket!!!!! All to all, hostel with Portuguese charm!!!!
