The place was quirky, artistic and spotlessly clean, the shower was great and my God, the bunk was the most comfortable one I've had on this trip - I slept like a baby! I absolutely love this place. ❤️

Jammer dat er geen mogelijkheid was om je kleren even uit te wassen en te drogen te hangen. Als hiker is dat wel handig.

Muitos restaurantes bares perto do hostel. O pessoal quanto eu cheguei muito simpático também . Chegada e saída super fáceis. 5 estrelas em tudo.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026La struttura si trova nella piazza principale di Odeceixe quindi è molto vicina a tutto. La camera è molto particolare e molto carina. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
Superata la prima porta che ti trovi di fronte le scale non ti ritrovi in un ambiente molto accogliente ma anzi super confuso! Quando siamo arrivati noi c’erano un sacco di scatole. In camera non c’è aria condizionata ed effettivamente abbiamo avuto un po’ caldo durante la notte. Un altro appunto che vorrei fare è di mettere qualche indicazione in più per trovare le camere, fortunatamente la nostra era la prima quindi facile da trovare, ma per le altre dovevi andare alla ricerca! Inoltre, dato che si trova in pieno centro, metterei un’indicazione in più per far trovare più facilmente parcheggio agli ospiti. Noi abbiamo dovuto chiedere agli abitanti.

O restaurante no mesmo edifício pertence a este hostel. Não foi comigo, mas assisti a uma cena lamentável. Um funcionário da esplanada a falar sem modos para 2 crianças que estavam a brincar com uma bola na explanada. Que falta de cultura. São crianças e nem as conhece.

I loved it but the only note was it’s right in the square which was really noisy at night. Other than that I can’t fault it!

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Localização excelente mesmo no centro de Odeceixe, o quarto dava para a praça central, tinha receio que fosse ruidoso à noite mas não a partir das 23h a praça ficou calma e dormi bem. A guesthouse tem uma decoração muito bonita, móveis clássicos e um piso de madeira ainda de tábuas antigas, bonitas e bem tratadas. Tem uma sala que faz a ligação entre os quartos que é muito agradável para ficar a ler e escrever. No café por baixo, que dá para a praça e que pertence à guesthouse servem um excelente café da manhã, que, no meu caso, não estava incluído no preço da estadia.

A cama não era confortável, para irmos para a cama tínhamos que subir uma escadaria íngreme sem segurança nenhuma. As proteções laterais da cama também não eram seguras e só havia uma tomada. O quarto era super quente sem ventoinha ou AC

Niestety przez to że budynek jest w samym centrum, do godzin porannych jest bardzo głośno. Dodatkowo, w pokoju nie ma klimatyzacji, łóżka są na piętrze i jest bardzo duszno. Trudno jest otworzyć okno, bo tym bardziej słychać hałas.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Velmi hezky zařízené ubytování ve stylu Boho. Ideální na přespání při putování. Praktická společná lednice a varná konvice v společném obývacím prostoru. Příjemná zahrádka a restaurace v přízemí.
V pokoji nebyla klimatizace, v noci bylo dost horko a nedalo se spát. Také je vše poměrně slyšet i zvenku. Takže pokud je venku nějaký program do pozdních nočních hodin, jako tomu bylo u nás, je to velmi rušivé.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Super schönes Hostel. Sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Vorhänge, Licht und Steckdose am Bett, Handtücher, Föhn und sogar eine Augenmaske 😃 Sehr bequeme Matratze! Im Ort gibt es eine Laundry, was super ist, wenn man seit einigen Tagen wandert.

Je zit in het midden van het dorp. Afhankelijk van de dag in de week kan het 's nacht wat rumoerig zijn maar niets dat oordoppen niet kunnen oplossen.

Wärmster Empfang durch die Hoteliers, wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und zu Wein in der Bat eingeladen. Ein schöner Balkon und die Regenwasser Dusche runden das Erlebnis ab. Urgut!

La seule petite note déplaisante est que la chambre est très chargé en décoration un peu inutile. J’ai eu un peu peur de perdre des pièces de mes bagages. Mais d’autres apprécieront mieux le charme de la « suite marocaine » que moi. Ceci dit tout fonctionne bien.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026I've had a wonderful stay! Amazing space, easy check-in and check-out, felt like being home (but nicer and tidier!). I stayed in the shared room with 3 other people but I had privacy, space and all the comfort I needed. Very clean, very well-decorated, towels provided, big bathroom and super friendly staff. Good, cosy living room to relax and have a cup of tea. It's in the town's main square, close to the bus station and lots of good food options around, including the Guesthouse's own bar/restaurant downtairs. Super good value for money. I know where I'll be staying next time I'm in Odeceixe. Thank you so much :-)

De locatie was mega gehorig. Ik heb niet geslapen van 22u-03.00 door de luide muziek van de barren ernaast. Dit was niet prettig als je de fishermanstrail doet en om 06.00 vaak opstaat.

Super bonito e arranjadinho - instruções de acesso claras - espaço feito à medida para 3 pessoas! 3 camas, 3 individuais de cozinha, 3 cadeiras, espaço para 3 pessoas no sofá (engraçado) - limpo e cheiroso - cozinha ótima! - ótima localização, com cafés por baixo - estacionamento super perto, gratuito
- não haviam guardanapos (se havia não encontramos) - não havia tv ( sabíamos, mas teria sido um plus) - a luz da wc é muito fraca - zona das camas fica por cima (é tipo duplex) e devia ter proteção nas ripas de madeira, para maior segurança e conforto

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Das war das mit Abstand schönste und beste Hostel, in dem ich bisher übernachtet habe. In den Zimmern gab es jede Menge Ablageflächen und Aufhängemöglichkeiten. Hier wurde nicht an Gewinnmaximierung, sondern an Komfortmaximierung für müde Wandermäuse gedacht. Sie hätten auch noch mehr Betten in die großen Zimmer stellen können, aber haben sich dagegen entschieden. Es war total gemütlich dort. Einfach nur toll!

Needed ear plugs because it is on the main square and is noisy until late. Slightly confusing about where to get the key, they sent a message but I didn't see it. Would be helpful if there was a sign.

Bis 22 Uhr alle Hits der 80er, danach treffen sich die Einwohner dort, um bis 5 Uhr weiterzufeiern. Ob jeden Tag, oder nur einmalig, kann ich nicht sagen. Schlafen konnte ich jedenfalls nicht, weil wir bei der Hitze natürlich schon um fünf weiter wandern wollen.

The room faces the town's main square, where one of the bars had many loud visitors keeping us up until after 3am. The room doesn't have air-conditioning, and with the beds being right below the roof it remains very warm on hot days.

For people hiking the trail, there wasn’t much of a kitchen to make food for yourself. Also, there weren’t plugs on the top bunk so I couldn’t charge my phone near my bed.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Liebevoll eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich wie in einer anderen Welt. Service war ausgezeichnet. Immer wieder nachgefragt ob etwas benötigt wird. Schrank mit allen möglichen nützlichen Utensilien wird zur freien Entnahme bereitgestellt (zb haarföhn). Sehr sauber, neu, hochwertig, mit vielen Details sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Bad mit gut riechende Duschgel. Warmwasser funktioniert ausgezeichnet. Würde ich sofort wieder buchen. Kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.
Samstag Nacht laut wegen der Bar am Hauptplatz. Aber das liegt außerhalb der Unterkunft. Die anderen Tage waren ruhig.

Reviewed May 21, 2026Best hostel so far on the Fisherman’s Trail — this will be the one to top. After days of sleeping on cheap bunk beds, it was delightful to reach the Bohemian Antique Guesthouse. The beds were comfortable and can handle people who flip and flop in their sleep. En-suite bathroom. Beautifully appointed. Cafe below is delicious and everybody who we encountered at both establishments was delight.

Unser Dorm zum Platz raus war bis sehr spät abends leider bei offenem Fenster super laut - anders wäre es zu heiß und stickig gewesen. Leider keine Möglichkeit zum Klamotten auswaschen im Hostel

Reviewed May 15, 2026Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Guesthouse. Die Stockbetten sehr bequem und geräumig und mit viel Privatsphäre, durch einen Vorhang, den man zu ziehen kann. Badezimmer hat eine sehr angenehme Größe. Die Lage unschlagbar. Verschiedene Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. CheckIn/Checkout war unkomliziert.

Non c'è possibilità di lavare i propri indumenti, è scritto che è vietato. Non c'è possibilità di cucinare. Abbiamo dato un punteggio basso perché nella piazzetta sottostante, benché molto caratteristica, c'è stata musica da discoteca altissima fino alle 3 di notte. Forse perché era sabato? Chi cammina deve dormire e deve poter lavare i vestiti

Reviewed May 11, 2026Für mich eines der besten Quartiere auf dem Fischerweg. Schönes 4Bettzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Nett eingerichteter Aufenthaltsraum. Nettes Lokal direkt nebenan (hier bekommt man auch den Schlüssel für's Zimmer.
