The location,the amenities,free bfast, very accomodating staff and very friendly owner.

Their wifi is spotty at times but overall, i'd still rate is good.

The pool was great! Staff was very accommodating and every thing was spotless. The included breakfast was filling as well! I ate most of my meals at the restaurant. They would even put my protein powder in, when they made me shakes!

Trafiłem tam przypadkiem na jedną noc. Jak dla mnie bardzo podstawowe warunki. Hostel dla młodych ludzi z niewielkim budżetem i bardzo niewymagajacych. Grzyb na ścianach, prysznic nie działał, pokoik bardzo niewielki, było głośno.

I had an amazing stay at Camotes Hostel Resort! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating from start to finish. For a very reasonable price, you get a comfortable stay that includes a free breakfast. ​The highlights for me were the stunning mural painting by the pool—it gives the whole place such a cool, boho-aesthetic vibe—and the fact that guests are free to use the kitchen. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the calm, turquoise waters of Batson Beach. Huge thanks to our wonderful host, Ms. Rein, who went above and beyond to let us have a BBQ at Batson Beach (part of Malaika Hideaway). Highly recommended!

J’ai passé une semaine l’année dernière dans cet hôtel en dortoir , c’était calme et Chill, j’avais adoré,.cette fois ci j’étais avec mon épouse et ma fille, la chambre était petite, aucun rangement possible, ni dans la salle de bain ni dans la chambre, vous imaginez à trois avec trois valise !!!,pas d’âme pas d’eau chaude ( le premier soir carrément pas d’eau ) c’est très humide , du coup ça ne sent pas bon, le lit double est petit.mais surtout, c’est devenu un hôtel très bruyant , musique forte tout les soirs + concert vendredi, samedi et dimanche jusqu’a 1h30 , impossible de dormir . Il est clair que le patron veut attirer une clientèle plus jeune, pas seulement de l’hotel mais également des locaux pour faire des soirées et consommer .j Je n’ai rien contre la jeunesse qui s’amuse , au contraire , mais si vous compter vous reposer ici, oubliez ! Ç.est dommage ( personnellement) car ce n’est absolument pas l’ambiance de cette magnifique île qui se veut calme et apaisante

Tout était super. J'ai été très bien reçu et conseillé ! Les chambres sont confortables et certains lits sont des lits doubles, un vrai confort pour un dortoir ! Le logement est idéalement situé sur les îles pour pouvoir sillonner facilement en scooter.

I had a great stay at Camotes Hostel Resort! One of the highlights of my experience was definitely the breakfast and it was so good, freshly made, and really satisfying. It gave me the perfect start to my mornings. The location is also ideal peaceful, accessible, and close to some nice spots on the island. Whether you're out to explore or just want a relaxing vibe, this place is a great base. And I can’t forget the pool it is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for cooling off or just lounging around. It really adds to the relaxing atmosphere of the resort. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

There were a few things that could be improved in the room. There was no cabinet or closet to store my clothes, which made unpacking a bit inconvenient. I also wish there had been a full-length mirror, especially for getting dressed. Lastly, we were only provided with one small shampoo for a 2-night stay, which wasn’t quite enough. Overall, it's still a lovely place just a few small touches in the room would make the experience even better!

Buen lugar para pasar unos días y ver las Islas Camotes. La dueña, Rain es muy amable. Nos atendió estupendamente y nos invitó a una fiesta por nochebuena. Cerveza y lechón....y buena compañía.

What a gem for the thrifty traveler who knows the clear blue waters of swimming pool will disappear all your troubles. Ice, a/c, food, music, bar. It's all right there Great wifi, parking, this is an everything stop 😁.

Certains éléments auraient besoin d’être rafraîchis pour un maintien du standing (pelouse artificielle usée, entrée caillouteuse…), manque de deco… c’est un peu dommage car ça donne une impression de mauvaise finition.

Desde el primer momento nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Nada más llegar, nos invitaron a ir con un grupo de locales a una playa poco conocida, donde disfrutamos de un atardecer precioso, buena comida y compañía auténtica. El personal del hostel es encantador, súper servicial, alegre y acogedor. Organizan conciertos en directo con músicos locales buenísimos, y el ambiente es simplemente genial. La habitación era amplia, limpia y muy cómoda; la piscina, preciosa y siempre impecable. Además, tienen longboard para practicar, dardos, cocos frescos (¡buko!) y comida y bebidas deliciosas. También alquilamos una moto con ellos: todo fue rápido y fácil. Literalmente, una experiencia inolvidable.

Nada que no me haya gustado. ¡solo que ojalá me hubiera quedado más días!

the staffs are very friendly and they will accommodate you will all your questions regarding the island and the hostel itself. the owner is very active on making all of the guest happy with their stay. they have a designated working space for working / studying.

the location doesnt have any signals from globe telco on my end. they dont have any hot water on the shower. so on my end because i didnt come on the summer months. I needed the hot shower cause its raining most of the time(my fault on the date of booking) but I thinks its more of a future improvement since if they could have the capability to improve.

The bed was very comfy and the linen extremely clean and good quality. The breakfast was included and is very good - they’ve a lot of choice on the menu. Overall it’s a relaxed vibe and staff were lovely. It’s in a quiet area between two beaches. Location wise it’s about 20 mins from the port. You can walk to the larger Santiago bay beach which has a good range of food options. You do need a bike if you want to explore the island (can rent one at the hostel rented one for 400php a day. There was a couple of lovely friendly polite dogs who I really liked seeing around the place too.

Booked rooms without air con and the heat was unbearable as the rooms are small (It was my own fault for not noticing this when I booked).

The space around/Infront of the hotel needs tidying up. It's a bit bare and rocky and untidy! That's my only TINY complaint.

Didn't know that their restaurant became a bar lounge / disco at night. The music was too loud and went on well into midnight. It can be heard inside the rooms (both with ac and without ac). It was really hard to sleep with that going on. The room without ac had a stale damp smell and needed proper air circulation.

The staff was very nice and provided me with everything I needed. Good breakfast. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The bed was big.

In the dorm we could listen to all the noise from the bathroom. Tiny room and no space for the backpack.

So to get a double bed in a dormitory was a huge bonus. Slept like a baby. Breakfast and dinner options were varied and bar was reasonably priced. Location was very good as my scooter could get me to 3 beaches for a morning swim. Easily my favourite island so far.

Concrete benches in dining area could do with cushions and a more detailed activity board with events would help.

We initially booked a 6-night stay here, trusting the overwhelmingly positive reviews. However, within the first 10 hours, we encountered multiple power cuts, which we later learned are government-mandated. Since reliable internet is essential for our work, we couldn’t risk further disruptions and decided to cut our stay short to just three nights. We moved to a 3-star hotel that not only had a generator but also had all the amenities and comfort we were missing here, offering better amenities at a more affordable rate.

- The smallest and most uncomfortable room we’ve stayed in across the Philippines (ca 12 m²), with a lack of basic amenities: - No space for luggage or storage - No hot shower - No opaque curtains for privacy: our room was looking straight to the restaurant, and you could see everything from there in our room. - No blanket provided, only super thin bedsheet - No kettle, No cups - Nowhere to make coffee or tea unless using the restaurant - No seating or outdoor space in front of the room - No adapter for the sockets and there was only one in the whole room - No area to hang wet clothes after the beach or laundry - Extremely thin walls and windows, with noise from the street, loud talking staff, and music starting as early as 6:00 AM and continuing until 10:00 PM - During our three-night stay, the room was not cleaned even once, and no one asked if we needed anything, such as fresh towels. - The restaurant: this area was the only area where you can hang out lacked any fans, making it unbearably hot during the day. While it was possible to sit there in the morning or after sunset, the heat during the afternoon hours was overwhelming, effectively limiting its usability as a communal space. - The property had a pool but no sunbeds or seating, making it impossible to relax. Overall, the comfort level was zero, and this place is not suitable for longer stays.

The staffs are friendly and accomodating, foods are amazing, clean room, clean swimming pool. I like that there is a band performed in the restaurant at night. Makes the night lively.

Many insects from the outside will come inside the room so make sure you lock all windows when sleeping. Make sure that your restroom wont be lock, the key they give does not come with the key for the restroom.

The owners are great! So nice and friendly. They even took me to a secret snorkeling spot to help me get over my tanduay hangover. Great, nice new clean hostel which has lots of events in the pool courtyard including live music, BBQs, and more. Has a great restaurant and bar. Lots of places to relax and find your space. Try the omelette, it's delicious!
