Loved this hotel! It was quiet but yet readily accessible to so many places around including cafes and yoga shalas. Staff were nice, free filtered water, clean sheets and environment. All in all a great stay! Wished I could have stayed longer.

The hosts are very very nice people with good and beautiful energy. They were ready to help us with our needs and questions. The hostel offers lots of facilities and services, very convenient!! We felt super comfortable and happy in our full stay. Definitely a place were we’ll comeback in the future. Also, breakfast was great and good location. Totally recommend 🙏

Raj was a very welcoming, caring and helpful host, we had a great time just hanging out at the house. The location is very nice and quiet and the room was clean. Замечательное место :)

Excellent little place near to every attraction yet peaceful. Would always return. For a tiny price I got a large double bed bathroom with hot water, aircon and a ceiling fan and perfect service from staff. I believe they are a family here, all friendly. Clean and quiet.I really appreciated the tuk tuk they arranged from khajuraho station who met me in from my actual train coach which saved me enormous hassle. I arrived to be chrcked in at 4.30 am but raj was waiting. Very nice person as are all of them. A nice panoramic view through windows on 2nd floor of area and temples. A village within reach of all the sites. Would return anytime.

The host is so incredibly generous!!! He will do anything for his guests and wants you to feel like family! Had such great recommendations of where to go, things to do, and food to eat! Cant wait to come back!

Raj is an exceptional host. He will make sure your stay in Khajuraho is the best it can be. He actively looks out for you, suggests you places to eat, visit, offers to buy entry tickets for you so you skip the hassle, but he also responds to anything else you might need. We also did the safari with him. I still think the price is a bit steep but overall it was an experience worth doing, he manages everything for you and it is great to have him join the safari as he can explain a lot about the nature (the guide did not speak much English). The room is modest but has everything you'll need. Shower gel is not included so make sure to bring your own. Completely okay considering the price. When you come, I recommend seeing the western temples (600 inr entry for foreigners, still very much worth it) and then also the eastern temples (free, in worse shape, scattered in a housing area). People living near the eastern temples are eager to know you, so make sure you say hi!

You will be staying in a rural part of India, so get prepared to have an occasional bug in the room (not harmful) and a lot of noise coming from the outside, even during night. Not a problem for us, but I believe it is not for everybody.

I had a great stay at Karma home stay! The room was as on the fotos, very spacious, very clean, shower with always working hot water and good water pressure. And no need to ask for towels or toilet paper, Raj, the host gave me everything upon arrival. He was the best part of my stay. A very kind and caring person. He takes great care of his guests, we had great conversations, he gives helpful tips and organized amazing trips for me: Visiting a waterfall and river with crocodiles while exploring the beautiful calm countryside around Khajurahu, getting the ticket to visit the stunning temples and my highlight, a tiger safari to Panna national park (for a fair price). He made sure I’ll get the best gate and it was super worth it, I got to see a mother tiger and its three children. Also you’ll get delicious food from Raj Family, I eat vegan and they took care of my dietary needs with no problem.

I can’t think of anything negativ, 1000% recommended!

В отеле просторные ухоженные комнаты, большие кровати, чистое белье, wifi, горячая вода с хорошим напором и даже общая кухня, где можно готовить еду. Есть номера всех вариантов - от кроватей как в хостеле до просторных комнат с кондиционером. Здесь так же живет семья владельцев, они приятные люди. Администратор отеля Радж - прекрасный человек, очень чутко реагирует на все просьбы, доброжелательный и с открытым сердцем. Я очень рада, что остановилась в этом отеле. Он находится вдали от шумной улицы, здесь тихо и хорошо.

La posizione vicina al sito archeologico, la, stanza era grande, lo staff gentile.

La posizione è ottima, si arriva facilmente in ai templi a piedi in pochi minuti. Si può avere la cena fatta in casa che è buona. Disponibilità nell' organizzazione degli spostamenti e delle cose da fare. La struttura rimane un po' fuori dalla strada principale quindi si riesce a dormire abbastanza bene. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Probabilmente ha più potenzialità con più persone, perché ha spazi comuni ampi. Purtroppo il prezzo del cibo è alto per l'offerta poco varia e poco sostanziosa, la colazione consisteva in uova e al massimo una fetta di pane. I tempi erano sempre lunghi nonostante ci si accordasse per l'orario, anche di quasi due ore dove non ci è stato comunicato nulla, anche in caso avessimo voluto andare fuori o ordinare dall'esterno. Il WiFi funzionava male e solo al primo piano, non nella zona comune. È stato un po' strano

Prezzo imbattibile, ragazzo alla reception davvero disponibile, camera pulita ed in posizione strategica, ad un passo dal centro. Bisogna tenere presente, se si sceglie questo tipo di struttura, che si è all'interno di un'abitazione privata e si condividono gli spazi comuni con i proprietari e con gli altri host. La consiglio assolutamente.

Absolutely amazing homestay. Everyone was so polite and hospitable. The room was clean, Asa was the common area. The caretaker is kind and an animal lover who takes care of stray puppies like family. They also have couple of grown dogs who are friendly - that’s an added bonus if one is an animal lover, if not the dog keep to themselves and do not bother anyone if not approached. It’s a short walk to the western temples and the market area.

The room was spacious and clean. The hotel has a terrace where you will be served a small yet tasty breakfast. The hotel offers also tours, massages and airport transfers. I didn’t book any massages nor tours (which were not worth at all: there are no tigers and the safari is a waste of time and money), but I booked the airport transfers (both ways). It’s possible to choose between tuktuk and car: I chose tuktuk which is cheaper and the hotelier made a good price. The driver was punctual and the ride was good. The hotelier also helped me with the money exchange and it was a fair rate (with USD, with EUR less convenient). I could pay by card both the night and the rides without extra charges (to pay by card you will be brought to a nearby shop because the hotelier shares the POS with other people in order to reduce its cost, which is a smart idea and I was happy with that). Although the village is very small, thanks to a conveniently scheduled and cheap flight I could add this quick stop and I am glad I did (this place is usually skipped by most itineraries, but done in this way it is so timewise and moneywise that it is worth trying to include it).

It didn’t start well with this hotel because of communication issues: advance messaging before the arrival is paramount! The room was a bit cold even though it had no window, but closing all the windows in the common area it went better. Although the location is central (well, the village is so small anyway), it lies in a dark/poorly-lit back street that is hard to find and unfortunately the village is not very safe. I had nice chat with people at a temple and during the walk back to the hotel at least a couple of times some guys on motorbikes tried to stop me (without managing to steal or robbing, but still I felt very uncomfortable). Also, the hotelier is friendly, but also chatty: both at night when I needed to sleep at breakfast when I needed to quickly go to the east temples, he made me waste time. Some customers like to chat, but I guess it’s important to see if one is down for it or if is not.

Deze overnachting heeft een zeer goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. De bedden zijn comfortabel en de douche heeft warm water. De locatie is fijn en op loopafstand van de bezienswaardigheden. Avondeten is mogelijk bij de overnachting. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk, denkt graag met je mee over je reisplannen en kan helpen organiseren van tours en vervoer.

Superbe endroit . En plus d'avoir un bon emplacement , proche des commodités, la chambre est spacieuse avec eau chaude . Mais raj, le propriétaire fait toute la différence , il est au petit soin des clients, il m'a organisé 2 safaris a panna , j'ai vu 5 tigres, il m’a accompagné dans le safari et m’a donné beaucoup de conseil sur la ville . Super moment dans cette hostel !

I spent 2 nights at the Karma hotel. It was Raj and his family who enhanced my stay. Indeed Raj, who speaks several languages, is very welcoming and helps with all questions about your stay in Khajuraho. There is a large private parking lot in front where I was able to dry my laundry. Don’t hesitate to go to the roof top to see the sunset with a beer, it’s magnificent. I can't wait for this friendly space to be finished. The price is really very low (400 per night) for a large single room with its private bathroom, everything is very clean. The location is ideal between the east and west temples. I highly recommend.

Lo staff è stato super accogliente e disponibile. Il ragazzo della reception, Raj, mi ha aiutato a organizzare un tour in tuk tuk della cascata Raneh e di tutti i templi possibili a un prezzo scontato, consigliassimo. La stanza spartana ma per il prezzo pagato merita il massimo della valutazione. Da provate il chai masala della casa fatto con latte di bufala una vera delizia. Estuvimos dos días y Raj fue un anfitrión muy amable, dispuesto a ayudarnos con todo desde antes de llegar. Cama cómoda y con buen desayuno. Posibilidad de alquilar moto en el hostal. Por el precio que tiene es muy buena opción

I spent only one night unfortunately but I had the best. the rooms are clean and comfortable. In addition the structure offers many interesting services and there is a beautiful shared terrace where you can consume food and drinks. The staff is very kind and helpful, they helped me a lot with my travels and other small things.

Raj es una persona que se preocupa por todo y te ayuda en cualquier cosa (entradas de templos, excursiones, taxis, cenas...). El alojamiento está bien, y los horarios de entrada y salida son flexibles, lo cual se agradece en esta ciudad, debido a los horarios de los trenes.

La estancia el karma hostel fue muy agradable.Pilota nos ayudo en todo lo que necesitabamos,alquiler de moto, billetes, gestión de tuc tuc hasta la estación... incluso nos adapto las comida que andábamos con el estómago revuelto. Es un anfitrión amable y atento. Recomendable 100%.

La atención del personal, limpio y céntrico

Raj fue un host genial, muy servicial, nos ayudó con todo (alquiler de moto, tuktuks, sitios que visitar, trenes, recomendaciones en India para extranjeros). Desayunamos y cenamos en el hotel, se adaptaron sin ningún problema a nuestros gustos (non-spicy) y la comida estaba buena. Además, fueron muy flexibles con el check-in y check-out. Es cierto que existen puntos de mejora en las instalaciones y limpieza pero es asumible, más teniendo en cuenta el precio y servicios. Sin duda, nuestra mejor estancia en la India.

We had a wonderful time at Karma Hostel. It was the best accommodation on our trip through India. Our host, Raj, was really great and very helpful. He helped us find a good tuk‑tuk driver and pointed out the best places to eat. The hostel was clean and everything worked perfectly. We spent some truly lovely days there!

Clean room, good ventilation, and friendly family (including security Johnny the dog, and receptionist Chinku the dog). Location is off the main road but 2 minutes walk from the main road is not a big deal, in fact its an advantage because it's so quite at night, 10 minutes walking distance to the western temple complex. Nice homemade food at an additional cost but very affordable, only sometimes can be very spicy.

Balcony is accessible from common room, close your curtains at night so that no one can look into your room.

Beautiful Homestay!! Awesome experience. Rooms are comfy, AC working great, neat & clean room & washrooms. (shower not working though, never mind!). For its price, its exceptional value for money. Drinking water was free. Special mention - their food. Fish curry was awesome, something i never had before. It was super fresh, delicious and made specially on my request. Their fish curry is the reason enough for why one should stay there. Breakfast was mediocre. For its price, services sre good. Owner Raj is responsive and happy going person. But the star of the property is his father - an exceptionally humble & helpful person. On my request he himself went to market to fetch freshest fish & requested him family to make it. Location is perfect. Walking distance from Eastern & western group of temples, all the eateries. Being property where foreigners are hosted often, i never felt less welcome. Yes, there are some petty issues, but those can be ignored in favor of value for money & their impeccable hospitality.

I'm writing my review for Raj, who has helped my friend and I book trains in India, which is complete chaos if you don't know how they work or aren't from there. For a small commission, it does everything for you and explains which is the best route on a specific date. If you need to travel by train in India (which is the best option to avoid the constant beeping of buses) I recommend contacting Raj and thus you will get rid of all the hassle of trains.
