The hotel was absolutely amazing — without a doubt one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. On the day we checked out, we had half a day when we were no longer hotel guests, but they still allowed us to use the hotel facilities, store our luggage, and even take a shower at the spa before leaving. Truly exceptional service. We stayed with our children, and the playroom, swimming pool, and all the other facilities exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, and the view from the restaurant was beautiful. But for us, as nature lovers, what really makes this hotel special is the direct access to the jungle and the stream. You can simply walk down from the hotel and feel like you are stepping straight into nature. There is even a playground down there surrounded by greenery, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the jungle while our daughters were happy playing nearby. The combination of a high-quality hotel, wonderful staff, excellent facilities for children, and real nature right outside the door is something very special. An amazing experience for families, especially for nature lovers. We would definitely love to come back!

One of the best resorts in Wayanad, even compared to some big-name properties. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the views are breathtaking. What truly makes this place special is the wonderful team. Everyone was warm, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A special shout-out to Mohammed, the hotel manager, and many thanks to the reception team, chef, and entire staff for the amazing service and delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The price is absolutely justified by the quality of the rooms, views, facilities, food, and hospitality. They have truly turned “God’s Own Country” into a “God’s Own Resort.” ❤️ Highly recommended for anyone visiting Wayanad! 🙏

The location was very pleasing with lot of natural amenities in the surroundings. The staffs were very friendly and well mannered. Amenities were excellent. The walk towards natural stream was really good.

Dit is een fantastisch hotel op een zeer mooie en geïsoleerde plek ; de 'garden 'kamer is heel erg groot en het uitzicht is ongelofelijk; nergens hebben we een zo uitgebreid en heerlijk ontbijt gehad terwijl we ondertussen genoten van het uitzicht met o.m. giant squirrels.

men was bezig de weg te asfalteren waardoor het hotel vrijwel onbereikbaar was. gelukkig kwam er een employee die ons het hele eind voor reed , maar dit hele proces kostte ons wel erg veel tijd, waardoor we in het donker arriveerden; het hotel kan daar echter zelf weinig aan doen

The location, external facilities, spacious rooms, and the staff’s approach are amazing.

The reception is completely not available at night, with no staff available. Private dining is not available during nighttime hours. The safety box is somewhat complex to operate, even though instructions are provided. There are no in-room instructions on how to contact reception or access Wi-Fi. Considering the size of the property, the team appears to be understaffed, which makes it challenging to fully meet guest needs.

Fantastic experience. Loved the hospitality of the staff. Views and rooms were very aesthetically pleasing. Food was great too. No complaints.

Perfect view over the tee- and coffefields. Magnificent view in general and lovely food and staff. Birdwatching became a new interest and they really have beautiful ones.

I recently stayed at Flora Vythiri Resort with my family and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic. It is surrounded by lush green forest and natural streams. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the views from the balcony were beautiful. The staff were very warm and attentive, always ready to help and made my stay super comfortable. Food was good with decent variety, and the infinity pool was great. Since the resort is set deep in nature, I encountered leeches during nature walk and bird watching, but for me, that added to the charm of being in a natural setting. Overall Resort is a perfect getaway if you want peace, greenery, and a break from city life.

Amazing property, right in the middle of the forest. We could observe giant squirrels and monkeys from our balcony everyday!! Well maintained and clean rooms and facilities. Good food (we had a la carte) and great staff at reception and restaurants. Especially Sayand was very friendly! We also really enjoyed the complimentary nature walk and the different activities (table tennis, board games, etc.). They also helped us organise transport and other activities around the area.

A few more sunbeds and some umbrellas for shade would be good around the pool.

Location is beautiful, nestled among the tea plantation on one side with huge trees, location is a great USP.. Staff were very friendly and trained to handle every request. There is lot of attention to detail to ensure guests are taken care of. Food is excellent

Beautiful property surrounded by nature. I stayed in the hide away chalet which offered solitude but the services of a great hotel a few hundred meters away.

Everything was perfect. The rooms, the food, the nature and surrounds were all wonderful. The staff were very attentive; Sujith, Prince and everybody there who were all very hospitable. The natural stream was the highlight for me where I had the most rejuvenating experience in a long time. All in all, we can wholeheartedly recommend.

Great property, overlooking a tea estate. We stayed at the hideaway chalet and it was a wonderful experience. Very peaceful and the hotel staff was great!!

Although it's not too far from the town, it's in a jungle and the road to the hotel is in a bad condition. The hotel does not offer any sort of shuttle or transportation to the town. This is an issue if you don't want to eat at the hotel, since driving to the town is a hassle. The hotel food is decent, but is charged at a premium.

The location of this property is excellent, offering a perfect setting to enjoy the natural surroundings. The staff are exceptionally accommodating and always ready to assist with any requests. The food at the restaurant is outstanding; I particularly appreciated their thoughtful gesture of providing us with a packed breakfast when we had an early morning tour planned. Overall, it’s an ideal spot for those looking to experience both comfort and nature.

We stayed in the Hideaway Chalet with a Valley View, which is the highest category room at this property and comes with a premium price. However, there are areas that need improvement to better align with the price point and overall resort standards. 1) Room Cleanliness & Maintenance: The room did not meet the cleanliness standards. Some refurbishment is necessary to bring it up to par. I’ve attached a few pictures illustrating the current state of the bathroom and room for your reference. 2) Safety Concerns: The chalet is located quite far from the main property, making it essential that the telephone facilities are operational at all times. During our stay, both the phone and internet were down multiple times, and I had to restart the system to reach the reception. While I was able to resolve the issue as I have an IT background, other guests may not be able to do the same, especially in an emergency, which could pose a significant safety risk. 3) Soundproofing: While I personally enjoyed the natural sounds from the surroundings, this room may not be suitable for guests who prefer a quiet environment for sleeping. Even with all the doors and windows closed, external noises were still audible. Improving the soundproofing would make the room more comfortable for a wider range of guests. 4) Room Blackout: The windows and doors do not provide proper blackout coverage. At night, the room is illuminated by streetlights, and during the day, it's impossible to achieve complete darkness. While the room's design is focused on showcasing nature, installing proper curtains or shades could easily solve this issue without compromising the natural experience. I chose this hotel based on the excellent reviews and pictures, and while the location is indeed stunning, a few improvements are needed to match the resort's value for money and meet the expectations of its premium offering.
