We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Simrose. The property is located in a beautiful and peaceful location, right near Agonda Beach, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, it was great value for money. The rooms were good, the food was very tasty, and the staff were extremely helpful, cooperative, and accommodating throughout our stay. We really appreciated their hospitality and coordination. The location is definitely one of the biggest highlights of the property. What we liked: • Beautiful location near the beach • Good and comfortable rooms • Very good food • Helpful and cooperative staff • Excellent value for money

The only concern was the presence of local dogs throughout the property. They were often around the restaurant and sometimes sat right beside guests' legs while they were dining. There were also dogs regularly sitting right outside our room door. On a few occasions, they even licked plates that had been kept outside the room. We feel this could be managed better to ensure guests feel more comfortable and hygienic. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and enjoyed our stay at Simrose. The location, staff, food, and overall atmosphere make it a lovely place to stay in Agonda.

Staff and food at the bar/restaurant were exceptional and the owner was very generous by sharing another one of his properties with us for a day where we had the choice of food that we wanted served and a surprise birthday cake was provided

Wifi was 'hit and miss'

Location was excellent, Staffs were very polite and friendly. Specially Restaurant’s staffs were very professional and warm.

WIFI could be better,as there is no network wifi connection can be better.

The tap and the wash basin were wobbly in the bathroom.

The location was the only thing that would stand out. That too the beach, not the actual hotel. Everything else was just horrible.

The place was so horrible that I cut my stay by a day, incurred a loss just to get out of there. It was dirty, very old, not maintained, and extremely cut off from everything. If you feel sick there, you will probably die as there is nothing around the place that you can get help from. The restaurant is a Nepali restaurant. The food is Nepali and it is run by Nepalis. Even the staff are Nepalis. There are more dogs than people in the restaurant. Never ever go to this place!

Simrose exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and offered excellent value for money. The pool was conveniently located just outside our cottage, while the beach was literally a few steps away from the restaurant, making the location truly perfect. The food was outstanding throughout our stay, and the breakfast spread was simply heavenly. Overall, Simrose provided a wonderful blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality that made our experience unforgettable.

The wifi could have been better.

The view from the rooms were really good. Overall clean and beautiful beach.

The restaurant and rooms could do with some improvement. We felt it was not worth the rate they charge.

1. Restaurant food was tasty and Restaurant staff was also humble. 2. Location is just on the beach.

1. There were pets roaming in dining area. Not everyone is cool with pets around while eating food. 2. No packed water bottle daily instead of bottle, you can refill from dispenser which is again untrustworthy. 3. Reception staff are unwelcoming and judgemental. 4. Parking is not coverd. 5. No refrigerator double in rooms.

The dogs in the property were bad.

Amazing location, but no efforts put into developing the beachfront of the hotel. Could be so much prettier but is completely ignored.

The path from the room to the restaurant isn't even covered, you get drenched in rains. Rooms are clean, but the outdoor areas feel really damp & unpleasant.

Overall excellent experience... very aesthetic property so green. .. on the beach which was pristine.. clean safe and well maintained. The staff Overall were very hospitable and made our stay memorable.. Goa in the rain and at Simrose... Incredible... unforgettable..

The property and the location is great, had a good experience. But please be very careful of your belongings, a lot of thievery. We were quite dissatisfied with the staff and lost a valuable belongings despite locking up our rooms

With the beach facing huts it was quite a view. The restaurant staff is very friendly and the food is good. They also indulged us in modifying one of the dishes to our liking.

The room service could be better. I do not like cats roaming around and staring at me when I am having a meal. They have in house cats which is great for cat lovers but not so much for others.

Superb atmosphere

The stay was excellent. The location is great, and there is convenient access to the beach.

We were followed back to the resort one night by some outsiders, and the staff were of no help. Some of them knew of the men who followed us. Understandably there was not much they could have done, but they explicitly said they had no systems in place if the safety of a guest was at risk. They could have, at the very least, presented options to report this to the police, or discussed with other resorts to ban those men since they knew who they were. We had an excellent trip before this incident, and we were glad to check out after this happened.

The common toilet was stinking and it made going up and down to/from the rooms very unpleasant. The linen in the rooms don’t feel very clean

Bungalows/Hütten stehen sehr nah zusammen, der Weg von der Rezeption zum Restaurant/Strand führt an jeder Terrasse vorbei, somit ist keine Privatsphäre möglich. Aufgrund des Pools ist der Geräuschpegel an den naheliegenden Hütten tagsüber teilweise sehr hoch. Ich würde das nächste Mal nur ein Zimmer im ersten Stock mit direktem Meerblick buchen. Das Personal im Restaurant könnte aufmerksamer sein und öfters nachfragen, ob alles okay ist oder ob man noch was bestellen möchte.

Very welcoming and beautifully maintained. I really loved the people at the reception it was exactly how we would like to be welcomed. Exceptional stay everything was perfect will definitely go back. Just the perfect stay. Only thing that will take them from great to exceptional is little bit more welcoming behaviour by the restaurant staff. But overall it was a great experience.

The staff were so accommodating and friendly. I felt really homely. Nothing was too much. They went above and beyond.

The girls on the reception were sometimes laughing and looking, which at times felt like it was about me. But otherwise very friendly!

The wooden chambers get super hot in summars and they should keep small fridge in each chambers so atleast people can have cold water for drinking.

The location is excellent - right on the beach. It was probably less than 100m from my hut to the beach. The hut was comfortable and clean and the aircon worked well. However, it does need sprucing up a bit as the woodwork was looking a bit tired, as were the curtains. The staff at Simrose are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is fantastic - both Indian and Western cuisine and all done well - and the staff in the restaurant were great. We had breakfast included, and there was plenty of choice (again, all very tasty). Agonda itself is beautiful, and I would definitely like to return.
