Absolutely perfect place to get away, to relax and unwind. Every single staff member was professional and made sure we were seen too. My hats off to the barman Simon. Will definitely be back. You can never go wrong with the all inclusive package. Totally worth it.

I had a best getaway.There is nothing quite like the contrast of crisp mountain air outside while staying perfectly cozy and warm indoors, especially when backed by flawless staff.

I loved everything about the place. The location, the chalet, the cleanliness, the staff, the food. All inclusive was definitely worth it. Compliments to the chef. The front desk ladies were amazing and friendly. The waiters, Emmanuel, Simon and Mkhotho were amazing. We had the best wedding anniversary weekend.

Dinner was delicious and we enjoyed our stay and plan to come back. loved all activities.

The chalet was a little old and did not have air conditioning. We were also expected to purchase wood and firelighters to keep the chalet warm.

Breakfast was sufficient and the people were always helpful.I would also like to make mention of their super employees Comfort,Phindile and Thandeka.these people made our stay extra special and went all out for us.thank you for that.

Love the location! Beautiful views & accommodate was very comfortable! The food was wonderful too. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the great variety of activities!

De faciliteiten - moest het goed weer zijn geweest. We hadden 3 dagen regen, mist en temperaturen net boven het vriespunt: er is jammer genoeg NIETS te doen bij de weersomstandigheden. We hebben 3 dagen binnen gezeten rond de houtkachel waardoor al onze bagage stinkt naar houtvuur

Weer + kwaliteit hout om t stoken - chalets waren zeer koud. Er is niets te doen op het terrein of in d buurt als het koud is of regent.

The view is amazing the chalets are clean and comfortable, a lot to do for children , the service is so good , we enjoyed the spa as well , horse riding amazing , easy drive from johannesburg not too far

Facilities not great, terrible tennis balls, no pickleball which is on website, crochet equipment damaged, bowling lawns unkept, booked go karting as a family only to get there and we couldn’t ride together as one was broken.

There was no electricity in the chalet from 08:00 to 13:30 , there is a generator however it was not switched on very dissapointing we had no breakfast and lunch and sitting in the cold , waiting what a waste of a day

I loved the location. They had lovely hikes we could do just from walking outside of reception. The place was comfortable and spacious. The views from the room were spectacular. There were so many activities just walking distance away from the rooms. The restaurant area was beautiful. And the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

The views from both cabins 101 and 102 were excellent. The other cabin 123 didn't have a great view. So our guest that stayed in that cabin didn't have the same experience as the rest of us

In the superior chalets, the upstairs master bedrooms don't have showers in bathroom. It was a bit inconvenient to bath in a tub

The views were amazing. Food was exceptional catered for all dietary needs. Extremely clean and neat chalets.

Inflexibility with a slightly late departure request due to our late arrival the previous day for a one-night stay. Chalets are dated and could do with some modernization.

Good on Friday wasn’t tasty. However the food on Saturday made up for Friday

Overall relaxed vibe.Staff were excellent, especially 2 gentlemen that assited us with the go karts and zipline.

Location and views

Very old rooms, dusty and not clean. Bad value for money. It was expensive and received a very old room that cupboards weren’t closing, things weee peeling and bathrooms that looks like form the 80’s.

Excellent location with a spectacular view of the Drakensberg Amphitheatre. Food was great, especially the huge choices during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Accommodation was superb especially the heated floors and a heated beds at night! Complementary bottle of wine and chocolate - what a treat!

We stayed in a pet friendly chalet which was lovely. We had breakfast and lunch and both meals were above average. The staff is very friendly and obliging. The staff went the extra mile to make my husband's birthday weekend special ❤️ My daughter had a back massage and was very impressed!

The views were amazing, and breakfast was fine too. The staff was amazing, welcoming, and friendly too. My stay was special, as I was celebrating my birthday. The staff really made my day special.

The wooden glass door had a gap and was letting cold wind inside the room. They should look at maintaining the rooms, especially those with wooden glass doors.

Locations was good and our stay was comfortable

The fishing scam, the Dam had not even a single fish, only frogs. Anyway nice exercise going up and down to the “fishless dam”.

The magnificent Mountain Views and the fresh air - priceless. When we arrived it was quieter thus all meals were à la carte - These were really enjoyable except for some dishes that were extremely salty. However with the onset of the long weekend- the kitchen shifted to buffet meals and these were just average- quality much poorer than à la carte. Though the service was mostly good - there were some waitressing staff that were just not up to the job - a guy who did not even make eye contact as though every request was an effort. But we tried to avoid his service as the rest of the team was really good - including the bar team. The rooms and beds are comfortable and cosy- do choose the mountain facing rooms.

Service could be better, food quality and options for buffet can definitely be improved.

We had a fantastic family getaway and overall a wonderful experience. The food was exceptional throughout our stay. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were all of a very high standard and easily deserving of a five-star rating. The fillet steak was especially outstanding. The accommodation was very clean and well maintained, although the rooms could benefit from an update, particularly the bathrooms. The activities were a real highlight for the whole family. We thoroughly enjoyed the horse riding, go-karting, and zip line course, and the hiking trails offered a great outdoor experience. What truly made the stay memorable was the staff. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Their excellent service really added to the overall experience. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and a lovely family retreat that we would happily recommend.

The beds could be improved with better quality mattresses for added comfort. Our room was unfortunately not very soundproof, and we could hear voices from the neighbouring unit.

The amazing location, scenery, that drinks were included in the 'full board' price, activities and absolutely wonderful staff, meal portions were generous and spa treatment was good. It's a place we'd visit again. 10/10

The level of cooking was a bit of a let down, and while the dinner menu changed every day which was good, the lunch and breakfast menus were a bit tired. The spa facility needs an upgrade.

Durect views of the mounts are breathtaking, the chalet is very spacious, beautiful swimming pool, we enjoyed using it. The chalet have good privacy and soundproof. The surrounding tourist attraction make the stay enjoyable. The cleaners are very friendly and clean every day. We enjoyed our stay.

The staircase is uncomfortable especially at night when you go to the bathroom and to the kitchen 🙃.

Chalets and resort in general need a bit of upkeep, looking a bit tired. Fly fishing options are quite a way from the resort and didn't get that impression from the website.

We arrived very late however the keys were left with security who were very friendly and helpful. We were booked at chalet that we occupied before and it was cleaner than it was before and with new furniture.

We asked the reception for late checkout but the way she answered was very unfriendly.

Room was overwhelmed with the smell of pine gel( reminds people of toilet) . There was no safe in the room . Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Service was slow .
