The sliding door at family rm 2 needs maintenance or replacement. The edge are little bit sharp which can cause a paper cut and unsafe for kids.

Lo peor de todo fue la presión de la ducha, es simplemente vergonzoso. Aunque avisé a recepción no hubo mejora alguna. La habitacion era amplia, pero el mobiliario esta para cambiar pues esta deteriorado. La toalla de la playa aunque este limpia o no la hayas utilizado, exigen pagar 100 php por dia. Ojo con las fotos porque todos los alojamientos parecen estar en planta baja con acceso directo al mar pero nos alojaron en el tercer piso de un edificio. En recepcion adujeron que estaba indicado en los detalles de la reserva de booking, que yo obvié. La playa esta sucia y descuidada. La peor estancia en mis 22 dias en Filipinas. Ni repetiria, ni lo recomendaria a nadie.

Nos cambiamos de habitación y en la segunda había enchufes muy antiguos que no se podían adaptar a los europeos y el agua caliente no funcionaba.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Was right on the beach, next to the dive shop as we were there just to dive. Restaurants in walking distance there was 3 just across the road. The room was small but the balcony was great to hand out on.
We couldn't make use of the water sports due to the time of the year.

Reviewed May 23, 2026The beachfront location is definitely one of the best things about Tropical Fun Ta Sea. The area is convenient, relaxing, and great if you want easy access to the beach. For the price, the stay was decent overall, and we still enjoyed our family trip.
Compared to our first stay last year, I personally did not feel the same level of hospitality this time around. One thing to note for families is that even if your child stays for free, there is an extra daily charge for towels. It was actually the first time I’ve stayed at a hotel where I had to pay extra for towels for my child, but that’s okay if that is their policy. Overall rating: 7/10.

There was 1 tuk tuk driver out the front of hotel who wasn’t very honest with his prices, we didn’t know the local prices at the time so thought nothing of it but later found out he was charging a lot more than he should. Other tuk tuk drivers around were nice though

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026De ligging is fantastisch. Je zit direct aan het strand, met iedere avond een adembenemende zonsondergang recht voor je neus. Tegelijkertijd ligt het in San Juan, waardoor je alles binnen handbereik hebt. We waardeerden ook dat we gratis gebruik mochten maken van een kano. Dat geeft net dat extra vakantiegevoel: even het water op wanneer je daar zin in hebt. Onze accommodatie zelf was netjes, schoon en ruim opgezet. Fijn om wat bewegingsruimte te hebben, zeker als je met een kind reist.
Helaas zijn we bij ons huisje flink gestoken door (zand)vlooien. De vele beten zaten met name op de onderbenen en ontstonden na verblijf op het zand van ons terras, waar overigens ook vaak honden liggen. Een dame bij de receptie wentelde het af op muggen maar dat was echt niet het geval. Wellicht kan er iets meer aan preventie worden gedaan. Daarnaast viel het restaurant ons tegen. Garnalen waren overgaar en 'clams' verdwenen onder een dikke laag kaas, waardoor de smaak volledig verloren ging. De 'pumpkin soup' was extreem vet en smaakte vooral naar room in plaats van naar pompoen. Er zijn echter genoeg goede alternatieven in de buurt, dus laat je daar zeker niet door weerhouden.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026Het uitzicht was erg mooi en je had er een mooie zonsondergang. Het eigen balkonnetje was ook top.
Het was anders dan verwacht. We dachten een huisje aan zee te hebben maar zaten in een gebouwtje daarnaast op de 1e verdieping. Verder lijkt het op de foto’s dat je meteen vanuit je verblijf de zee in kan om te zwemmen, maar het is geen zwemstrand. En bij eb is het een stukje lopen voordat je bij de zee bent. De douche had weinig druk en was niet goed af te stellen qua temperatuur. Het personeel was niet echt behulpzaam. En als laatste sloot de schuifdeur niet goed af en 1 van de 2 kon niet eens open.
