Die Unterkunft Skyresort liegt außerhalb von Tangalle, etwas oberhalb von 2 schönen Stränden (Silent Beach, Goyambokka Beach). Am Goyambokka Beach gibt es mehrere Restaurants, wo man Liegen incl. Sonnenschirm gratis benutzen kann, wenn man etwas verzehrt. Der Silent Beach ist, wie es der Name schon sagt, ruhiger. Badetücher werden von der Unterkunft zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Inhaber vom Skyresort (Ehepaar mit 2 kleineren Kindern) sind sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit. Sie werden von "Mama" unterstützt, die das leckere, abwechslungsreiche Frühstück zubereitet, das man morgens ab 8 Uhr auf der Terrasse im tropischen Garten genießen kann. Da ich keine Eierspeisen vertrage, war man flexibel mit der Zubereitung meines Frühstücks. Mein Zimmer im unteren Stock war groß, hatte ein bequemes Bett mit Moskitonetz, Klimaanlage, einen Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher für Tee oder Kaffee, ein Bad mit Föhn und sehr guter Dusche, sehr viele Steckdosen zum Laden von 2 Handys plus Powerbank sowie Akku der Kamera 🤩, einige Ablageflächen und sogar ein Bügeleisen im vorhandenen Schrank 😀. Vor dem Hotelzimmer steht eine Art offener Schuhschrank, auf dem man seine Schuhe aufbewahren kann. Auch eine Sitzgelegenheiten ist vorhanden.

Leider gab es in der Nachbarschaft in der Nacht ein paar bellende Hunde, aber dafür können die Gastgeber nichts. Das Metalltor, das man entriegeln und wieder schließen musste, um ins Hotel zu gelangen, war am späten Abend manchmal etwas laut (je nachdem, wie die Gäste es bedienten - mein Zimmer lag dem Eingangstor am nächsten).

Naprosto fantastické, úžasné. Byla jsem tu velmi šťastná. Oáza klidu. Majitelé jsou příjemní a mílí. Se vším pomůžou. Nic mi nechybělo a snídaně byli velmi dobré.

Bereits das zweite Mal dort gewesen und einfach begeistert. Super nah zu zwei wunderschönen Stränden. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich, das Frühstück abwechslungsreich, die Zimmer sehr groß und gut eingerichtet. Auf Wunsch können Roller gemietet werden.

Вежливый персонал. За свои деньги норм, но не ожидайте вау эффекта) Сплит система работает, но пора менять, все под уставшее но чистое. Вообщем цена это плюс) Да еще большой плюс шикарный пляж , Silent beach.

Die Gastgeber waren außergewöhnlich nett. Wir hatten das Glück, im freistehenden Bungalow zu wohnen und haben unseren Aufenthalt total genossen. Die Unterkunft hatte alles, was man braucht. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Lage ist mit einem schönen Strand und tollen Restaurants in der Nähe auch perfekt. Wir bedanken uns herzlich für die schöne Zeit bei euch und werden sie immer in bester Erinnerung behalten.

We had to make a change in travel plans which allowed us to stay one night in the Tangalle area. I am so happy we decided to stay at Skyresort. For us this has been the hotel with the best price-quality ratio during our trip. It is a beautiful house, big and very clean rooms, great bed, good breakfast and a lovely host. The environment is calm, but lots of restaurants in the neighborhood and in between two beautiful beaches. Next time we visit we will absolutely book here again!

В округе идет строительство и один раз была громкая музыка, рядом мало магазинов - ближайший крупный в Тангалле, местные рестораны не произвели впечатления, пришлось ехать в Тангалле на такси

A great property, amazing location, and lovely family running it. Less than 10 minutes walking to both Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach (via the shortcut next to the property). We stayed 5 nights, and then came back later in our trip for 5 more nights because it was so great. We met lots of people here who has also extended their stay. We'll be back!

Lovely guest house, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and nice garden. The location was 5 minutes walk from the Silent Beach.

Sky Resort in Tangalle was the best place we stayed in the area and exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable, giving plenty of space to relax after a day out. There’s also a nice garden around the property, which creates a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The location is perfect – very close to two beautiful beaches, both within easy reach, making it ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the coast without long travel. The owners are extremely kind and welcoming, always ready to help and make your stay more enjoyable. Considering the standard and location, the price is almost unbelievable – it’s excellent value for money. The breakfast is quite simple, but fresh and tasty, and definitely a good start to the day.

Good value for the money! The location is 5 min away from both beaches (Silent Beach & Goyamboka) which is a plus. The staff is very friendly and accommodation to your needs. The room was well equipped and very clean. You have a lot of local restaurants around but if you’re looking for a more European approach to food, you will need to get resourceful. 😁 All in all a very good place to stay 😁

When we stayed there the neighbours were a bit noisy but we cannot fault them for that and it might have been a one time thing.

Sehr tolle Unterkunft, die Zimmer sind sauber und sehr großzügig. Auch die nahe Lage zum Silent Beach ist super, wir waren insgesamt 5 Nächte hier und jeden Tag dort. Jeden Tag haben wir ein anderes, üppiges Frühstück bekommen. Der Gastgeber und auch seine Familie sind sehr herzlich. Sie haben uns auch einen Ausflug in den Udawalawe-Nationalpark organisiert (sehr zu empfehlen!) und wir konnten direkt vor Ort einen Roller für 2500 Rs. pro Tag leihen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

La chambre spacieuse et confortable. La famille était souriante, aux petits soins et tellement gentille. L'emplacement, incroyable : tout près de silence Beach, une des plus belles plages du Sri Lanka à mes yeux. Merci infiniment pour ce séjour parfait.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, das Frühstück war gut. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und Dank der hohen Decke angenehm kühl. Jeder Raum hat einen eigenen Sitzplatz mit schönem Gartenblick. Zu Fuß sind die Strände schnell erreichbar. Keine 5 Minuten entfernt gibt es mehrere Restaurants, u.a. "Moon Aura" in dem wir sehr lecker gegessen haben. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Все просто отлично! Номер как на фото, все в отличном состоянии . Лёгкий завтрак, просторный номер, радушные хозяева, близко до двух лучших пляжей Шри-Ланки (5 мин ходьбы до Гоямбоки и Сайлент бич).

Замечательный отель, номер светлый, чистый, удобная и большая кровать. Наличие горячей воды. Территория ухоженная, по утрам можно увидеть обезьян. Разнообразные и вкусные завтраки, всегда свежие фрукты и соки. Замечательное расположение, в пяти минутах ходьбы от Goyambokka Beach и красивейшего Silent Beach. Рядом есть рестораны и небольшие магазинчики. Замечательная семья, ответственный владелец, всегда поможет по любому вопросу.

Lovely location and the room was very clean. Shower room was lovely and so were the breakfasts. The family who run the property are truly delightful and made the stay very memorable. Presque trop luxueux pour nous, la chambre est immense et très bien équipée : frigo, clim, étendage, moustiquaire que nous n'avons pas utilisée, eau chaude, bouilloire... Petit déjeuner riche en rotation de 3 variantes. Le patron nous a organisé un tuktuk pour le temple de Mulkirigala, puis un autre pour Tissa, à prix très compétitif.

I loved this homestay! It was super spacious, very clean and the family was just absolutely lovely! I unfortunately was a bit ill with the flu when I was there so I spent a few days in bed. So I’m glad it was comfortable to stay there. It’s super close to the beach which is beautiful! It also had some nice restaurants nearby. And the breakfast was simple but good. I do think you need to have a scooter if you would like to explore more of Tangalle. I did rent a scooter from the property and I have to say it was not the safest scooter I’ve had. If driving a bit fast, the whole bike started shaking and the breaks were not the best. However for my use it was okay. I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Tangalle.

They use an extremely strong air freshener, which was not great as I am very sensitive to strong smells. Other than that it was superb.

We had a separate cottage in a nice garden, the accommodation is in a quiet street in the middle of nature, close to a beautiful beach. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and different every day. I recommend a stay, you will enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many restaurants with good food in the immediate vicinity. We were extremely satisfied with our stay.

Modern spacious and very comfortable room with outdoor seating. Delicious and varied breakfast (fruit, smoothy, coffee and omelette or something local) every morning served by the friendly owner and his family. A handful of restaurants with 5 minutes and a selection of stunning beaches to walk to. Welcome clothes dryer, fridge with drinks and the best hairdryer in all my travels 😊.

Not a criticism but some coat hangers, bath mat, hand towel and glasses would be useful in the rooms along with some tea and coffee.

Property was clean with sufficient amenities. Location was good, is outside central Tangalle, but really peaceful and very close to beautiful beach. Breakfast was good, with fruits, smoothie and local pancakes. The owners are very friendly and polite.

The shower was ok, floor was getting wet in all area because there is no door for the shower.

The accommodation is very spacious and very clean. The balcony has a very nice garden view. The breakfast was tasty. The owner is very kind and helpful. And lastly, it is located very close to Silent beach which is in my opinion one of the best in the region.

We had upstairs room with high ceiling and balcony over looking the garden. Room was new clean and comfortable with air con and stocked fridge. Bottled water available so no need to go to shop Location was amazing 5 minutes walk to the right to Silent Beach and 5 min walk to Goyambokka Beach to the left. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka and different everyday. Owner was kind an very informative. He arranged TukTuk and taxi for us when we needed I would not hesitate to recommend this place

We had one of the best experiences at this place. My girlfriend and I are very happy that we chose it. The breakfast was also delicious and healthy, with a very friendly and kind staff.

A large clean attractive room with the most comfortable bed! Air con v efficient and a good hot shower. Breakfast was different every 3 days and was fresh and tasty. Lovely helpful family and the location was perfect for both beautiful Silent Beach and Goyambokka. Several great restaurants within few minutes stroll. Enjoy!

We had a great stay here. The room was clean, spacious, and well furnished with extra touches like a fridge with drinks, water available on site and even a scooter to rent. The balcony overlooked a lush garden and It was only a 5 minute walk to two beautiful beaches. The staff were lovely and helpful and looked after us well. We would definitely recommend and return.

Very clean and spacy rooms with terace or balcony. In fridge were beer, cola and ginger beer and also a botle of water. Close to the beach and restorants.Owners are very kind and helpfull.They also heve very nice garden and cats. They also arranged us good transport to the airport.

Amazing place with forest view. The rooms are super big and the bed very comfortable. Linens are soft so I slept very well and relaxed. Rooms are beautiful with a high ceiling and it is really nice to have a terasse overlooking the garden. Breakfast was tasty with fresh fruits and juices. I highly recommend this place. It is also walking distance, just a few meters away, from a lovely and quiet beach along with restaurants.

Located in a calm area only few minutes away from Silent beach, that i found to be one of the most beautiful in Srí Lanka. Tasty breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. You cant go wrong with this property.

Skyresort is really your home away from home. The room is very specious and clean, the garden is beautiful and peaceful, the breakfast is fresh and different every morning. The host is nice and helpful with whatever we needed from airport transfer to activities tours and any other advices to make our stay really pleasent. We recommend it to anyone who is looking after a cozy place very close to Silent Beach.

An exceptional, family run guest house, very close to the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the A/C worked perfectly, and there was cold beer in the mini fridge. The delicious breakfast was Sri Lankan, and each day something different.

The location of the facility is unique, close to Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach. Surroundings among beautiful vegetation. The owner of the property was very nice. Tasty breakfasts. The room was well-kept and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The room has a mosquito net and well-functioning air conditioning. There is a shower with hot water in the bathroom. I recommend.

What a wonderful host family and accommodation. We spent 5 nights in this quiet facility and enjoyed this lovely place while sitting on the terrace in front of our bungalow. The bungalow has a kitchen with fridge, attached bathroom, AC and fan. We've started our days with the delicious breakfast and then walked to the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka - Goyambokka as well as Silent Beach are only 5 - 10 mins walk away! Guesthouse owner rent us his scooter for 2 days to discover the surroundings. This new guesthouse is absolutely recommendable - thanks for a wonderful time 🙏🏻❤️

Everything was as we expected and described. New and modernly equiped accomodation with big bed, so you feel comfortable there. Good value for money. Delicious breakfast, not the same everyday, but it repeated ever 3 days. There was AC in the room and also fan. Good pressure and temperature of water (in comparison to other acoomodations in Sri Lanka very very good). House owner has also provided taxi from airport to us. Silent beach is about few minutes down the hill. We rent a scooter so we were also able to discover other places. Cats, big lizards and peacocks- you can see in the garden sometimes. There are few restaurants in surrounding- best of them is Athena restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

This hotel exceeded expectations! The staff's warmth and eagerness to assist made us feel truly welcome. Every facility, from the comfy bedroom to the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, giving us a comfortable and warm welcome to Tangalle. The breakfast was delicious, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable, providing a cozy retreat away from the busy part of town, but just a short walk from Silent Beach and lots of restaurants. Quiet well-located oasis close to three excellent beaches, all reachable on foot. Friendly helpful owner explained how to get to them as well as organized a car/drive for our next destination. A/C worked very well and there was a nice drying rack for clothes, something you really need when in a beach town. Breakfast was excellent and changed daily, nice when you are there for three days.

This was the best accomodation that we had in Sri Lanka. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious, beautiful and new. There was everything what you need: wifi, fridge, electric kettle, hair dryer and also clothes airer. Bed was very comfortable. Hot water in a shower was without any problems. Rooms had also big balconies or terraces. Breakfast was delicious and fresh and changes everyday. Location is 5 minutes to beautiful Silent beach, 5 minutes to Goyambokka beach and very close to restaurants. The owner and his wife are very kind people, they also helped us to arrange a taxi. I recommend this accomodation and would stay there again.

In our opinion, the positon is great, close to some beautiful beaches (e.g. slient beach where we could swim), not too far from Tangalle by bike or tuk tuk (10 min) if you fancy a more vibrant atmosphere for a day, modern rooms (with real hot water), relaxing and very clean. They have also bike to rent which is very convenient to exlore the area. Last but not least, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. We highly recommend Sky Resort.

A lot of fruits for breakfast but personally we prefer traditional salted sri lanka breafast (e.g. dhal, roti, hoppers) bur not a big deal, really

Room was big and very clean. Owners was super friendly and helpful. You need to take tuktuk when you want to go eating, but you can walked best beaches on the area. We rented scooter from owners. Room also have no any holes etc. so no any bugs, keggos or other things in room which is super great!

Rooms are aesthetically well presented, with nice furniture, lockable drawers, comfortable beds with excellent mosquito nets (4 poster fashion). Excellent aircon and fan combination and plenty modern plug sockets. There is a reasonably priced mini bar and a kettle etc...The grounds provide a pleasant outlook and are well maintained. Reasonably well located for beaches, local amenities and the bus route. Breakfast is modest but fine. Nice hosts.

We were lucky to stay five nights in the apartment and couldn't have asked for a better place. Everything was clean, the location is perfect (close to one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka) and the little kitchen allowed us to cook dinner. The hosts are also super nice and will help you with everything that you need :)

Large, comfortable rooms with excellent aircon. Beautiful grounds with peacocks and monkeys and shy kittens roaming around. Excellent location less than ten minute walk down to Silent beach and a couple of local restaurants enroute. Would stay again!

They only take cash for payment, not an issue but be good to be told prior to arrival as there’s no cash points nearby.

Beautiful and exceptional value for money. The property and gardens are top quality in build and finish. The host family are just lovely people. It is 5 minutes walk from secret beach undoubtedly the most beautiful beach in Sri Lanka. This is the place to chill and relax and my favourite place by a mile after travelling Sri Lanka for 3 weeks. I would definitely return to SkyResort.

I am not going to mark SkyResort down for the following trivial points but just add so that people are aware. WiFi is weak so if you need Internet it's best to have a data SIM card. Final payment can not be made by card due to the above point so bring some cash to cover the bill.

The owners of Sky resort are super nice. The accomodation is just a few minutes from Tangale if you rent a Tuc tuc and just a few minutes walking distance to Silent beach. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruit, fruit juice and tea. The rooms were clean and the whole place was nice and peaceful.

Good apartment, amenities, place, and location.

Vegetarian breakfast was very simple but the host tried his best. Didn't like the neighbours morning routine of listening loud music for 30 mins. The lightning over the bed did not swich off in night, it felt strange and disturbed my sleep, luckily I have sleeping glasses.

fan in our room wasn’t working correctly. it was either too slow or making a hurricane in a room. with the a/c we also had problems - all signs on remote were on Chinese, so it was impossible to change temperature. breakfast was poor: one egg omelette, toasts, miserable amount of fruits and awful coffee. the only good thing was fresh juice. the territory definitely can’t be called a garden, it has some beautiful plants, but big part of the land looks neglected.
