A bit far from the main road, so be ready to walk in the dark at night. Stray dogs were present, but quiet and docile—no worries about wild behavior!

Alloggio stupendo e molto comodo nel pieno centro di Dambulla. Rapporto qualità-prezzo veramente formidabile. Staff gentilissimo e sempre disponibile che parlava un inglese fluente. Non avendo il ristorante attivo, la struttura organizza un eccellente servizio di consegna a domicilio da un ristorante vicino estremamente buono. Una vera sorpresa.

Si trova in centro ma in una via defilata lontana dal traffico e dal rumore, immersa nella natura. Host molto accogliente e disponibile.

Per contro la sera, non era piacevole fare la via a piedi in quanto non illuminata.

As always in my opinion, the level of cleanliness could have been much better. I don't understand why that always seems to be the main issue, that the cleaning isn't up to standard, ESPECIALLY THE BATHROOMS??? You would think it's so easy to just make a thorough clean, but obviously not... Especially when most bathrooms are quite small.

It was clean and tidy. We booked the place at the last minute and we still got the room in time and everything was set up . They even helped us to store the luggages in the morning when we went to Sigiria. Would’ve loved stay another day but we had to check out to continue the place. Definite 10/10

Property is immaculately maintained. Host is super friendly. Location is close to town centre but just far enough away to be beautifully quiet and calm.

Our only misgiving (not complaint) was that the mosquito nets were hard to arrange so that all of the sleeper was covered, especially when getting up in the night.

Der Gastgeber hat uns sehr unterstützt beim Planen unserer Sightseeing-Tour. Ebenso hat er uns das Abendessen von einem Restaurant organisiert. Hier hat alles wunderbar funktioniert. Wir haben ein tolles und sehr üppiges Frühstück erhalten, das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Consigliatissimo! Struttura immersa nel verde e nella tranquillità. Gayan è stato gentilissimo e ci ha consigliato come e dove muoverci. ❤️

La colazione era fenomenale , ricca di frutta fresca e con tante altre specialita tradizionali. Tutto era buono e abbondante. La stanza aveva una buona dimensione.

La stanza era sporca, I bicchieri erano sporchi, i runner sul letto ancora di più. Era piena di animali, le formiche in giro per tutto il bagno, i grili sul letto e i gechi ovunque. Le prese non erano vicino al letto, non c'era il balsamo e l'acqua calda non c'era. Al mattino siamo stati svegliati dagli scoiattoli che camminavano sul tetto. Il ristorante era chiuso e la posizione anche se vicina al centro non era per niente comoda perché in una strada buia e piena di animali. Il bagno era maleodorante e la doccia non scaricava l'acqua, si formava la piscina ai piedi.

Stanza spaziosa, colazione.

Posizione non particolarmente comoda. Pulizia abbastanza scarsa con numerose formiche in bagno e un odore piuttosto sgradevole.

Struttura a cinque minuti a piedi dalla via principale, che si può comunque raggiungere tranquillamente anche la sera con una passeggiata di 5 minuti. La struttura è immersa nel verde, con un bel giardino dove rilassarsi e godersi la colazione al mattino. Colazione disponibile a $ 5 molto buona e abbondante con un coloratissimo piatto di frutta fresca. Il gestore è molto cordiale e disponibile anche nell'organizzare trasporti per le zone circostanti. Camera con ventilatore carina, disponibile anche aria condizionata a $ 3 al giorno.

Besitzer war sehr freundlich und half uns auch Aktivitäten wie zb eine Safari, sowie Tuktuk Fahrten zu bestimmten Uhrzeiten zu organisieren.

Hotel MUY limpio y cuidado, además está en una zona muy buena ya que está a pocos minutos andando del centro, con la tranquilidad de estar en el campo. El dueño es encantador, nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo. ¡Volveremos a repetir!

Close to the town area of Dambulla, but down a little lane way. This means that you’re away from all the traffic and town noise, with only a short walk to everything. The breakfast is amazing! The resort staff are very friendly and helpful. They’re available to answer any questions

Bel giardino, padrone di casa molto accogliente e pronto ad aiutare. Colazione fantastica, la migliore che abbiamo ricevuto durante tutto il viaggio in Srilanka. Ambiente molto curato.

Diversi animali in stanza. Ogni sera una ranocchia vicino alla porta del bagno che portavamo in giardino ma poi tornava. Geki e l'ultima sera una piccola biscia nera vicino al letto. Può succedere quando si vive nella natura. Suggerisco di mettere una grata per chiudere la finestra del ventilatore in bagno.

Location was just a short walk from the main road/town. The property was peaceful and breakfast was amazing! A few more bugs then I am used to but we were surrounded by trees, bushes, etc.

Das Hotelpersonal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man kann den Gebrauch der Klimaanlage pro Tag für 4$ dazu buchen. Frühstück ist sehr viel, lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist sehr simpel aber ausreichend, für den Preis pro Nacht auf jeden Fall in Ordnung.

Die Unterkunft ist relativ ruhig gelegen und dennoch sehr zentral. Die Anlage ist sehr im Grünen und ein großer Baum bietet ausreichend Schatten zum frühstücken. Das Frühstück wird sehr liebevoll und sehr ausreichend zubereitet mit z. T. Sri lankischen Spezialitäten. Die Klimaanlage muss für kleines Geld extra mit gebucht werden (würde ich auch jedem empfehlen).

Das Zimmer ist relativ klein, genauso das Bad. Außerdem ist alles sehr hellhörig, wer also einen leichten Schlaf hat, darf Ohropax nicht vergessen. Kleiner Tiere sind außerdem nicht vermeidbar.

We had a perfect stay here. Room was clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. The room was spacious enogh with plenty of room to move about. The room had a small fridge,TV, hairdryer and kettle. Also furnished with a table and chair and outside seating in front of the room. If you like peace and quiet and a convenient location near the town. Only a 10 minute walk then you should consider this establishment.

Bathroom was a bit small but considering all the other positives this place has to offer it is a minor observation.

The room was big and it has a nice garden. The breakfast was good. We've also got good tips about what to see and the host even organized it for us with a driver.

Znakomite, różnorodne i bardzo obfite śniadanie w pięknym ogrodzie czekało na nas każdego dnia - mieliśmy owoce, lokalne naleśniki z kokosem i masą czekoladową, słodkie bułki, kanapki z jajkiem, kawę i herbatę. Pokój przestronny, cichy - słuchać odgłosy dżungli, mało sąsiadów w koło - lodówka i suszarka dostępne w pokoju, choć wymagają serwisu. Klimatyzacja działała bez zarzutu oraz był znakomity wiatrak. Zestaw do zaparzania kawy i herbaty był dostępny w pokoju (czajnik, herbata, cukoer, filiżanki i butelka wody). Łazienka z ciepłą wodą, słabo działał odpływ. Ogólnie polecamy to miejsce! Atutem jest elastyczne zameldowanie i pora śniadania ustalona indywidualnie w zależności od potrzeb. Super!

Die Lage war etwas abseits, wodurch es abends sehr ruhig war. Das Zimmer hatte eine Klimaanlage und war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und umfangreich und der Besitzer hat uns bei all unseren Fragen geholfen.

Die Unterkunft lag etwas abseits mit ca. 10-15min zu Fuß zu den nächsten guten Restaurants.

Fantastic value for money budget hotel in centre of Dambulla, but down a quiet road. The deluxe room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and hot pump shower (quite rare in Sri Lanka!) Breakfast was incredibly generous - lots of fruit and baked goods. The manager is so helpful. He’ll sort you out with wherever you want to go or whatever you need. Rooms are basic but have everything you need.

The room was.very clean and had all facilities.

Personnellement, je n’ai pas apprécié le déjeuner à 5$ us, qui comprenant des fruits, une brioche et un pain avec un oeuf cuit et une tomate pas de sauce, rien. Presque juste du pain et très sec. On est arrivé, le manager nous as demandé: voulez-vous la Clim? Il nous a dit c’est 3 us de plus/ nuit? Voulez vous le déjeuner? C’est 5 us/ personne. Voulez vous payer tout de suite? Ça nous laisse le feeling que c’est très buisness… d’habitude les sri lankais font payer le dernier jour… Ok à fait faire notre lavage, on avait pesé nos vêtements. Heureusement car il Nous aurait chargé un kilo de plus…. Pour un jour à Danbulla ça va mais c’est sûr qu’il doit y avoir beaucoup mieux

Super fint område, ligger omkring 8-10 minutters gågang fra byen, Pizza Hut ligger lige oppe for enden af vejen ca (og også et stort supermarked), så der er god mulighed for at kunne få mad og handle ind tæt på. Ejeren var super sød og rigtig hjælpsom med alt vi spurgte om, og skaffede os en tuktuk. Vi synes han var rigtig god til at fortælle os om prisen på hotellets tuktuk og den ankom indenfor 10 minutter efter vi aftalte det hele med ham. Prisen på Tuktuk var helt fair, det kostede det samme på Uber ca. Tuktuk chaufføren var virkeligt sød og smilende, og spottede en elefant på vejen som han holdte ind ved, så vi kunne tage billeder. Morgenmaden var spændende, med frugttallerken og noget Sri Lankansk mad. Super hyggelige omgivelser og der var dejligt stille, og vi synes det var pengene værd.

Vores lagen var ikke rent, men han hentede et nyt til os indenfor 5 minutter (god service). Døren var ikke helt tæt, så der kunne godt komme lidt dyr ind, men til gengæld var der myggenet (med få huller), så de kunne ikke komme hen til sengen. Vi synes der var meget varmt på værelset selvom der var A/C.

La habitación, con aire acondicionado, ventiladores de techo, el servicio muy limpio y el exterior muy bonito. Los colchones muy comodos y nos guardaron las maletas durante todo el dia. Muchas ardillas y camaleones.

The outside area of the property was well-maintained and pleasant. Indeed, there were two chairs that you could sit on outside the room. The manager also provided us with our room before check-in which was welcomed.

The room contained quite a few insects, especially large ants. The mosquito net also had dead mosquitos in it (a quick change of this would have greatly improved the stay). Also to remember, the air con is an extra $3. Although the location is a short walk from the main street, it is a dark road that is not well lit. If the mosquito net was changed, it would be better value for money.

Die Lage ist in einer ruhigen Ecke. Man kann, wenn man gerne geht, den Höhlentempel und Restaurants, sowie die Busstationen gut zu Fuß erreichen. Für den Preis total angebracht. Im Frühstück viele Früchte und ausreichende Menge, allerdings nicht die 5 Doller wert im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen. Vor dem Zimmer war eine mini Terrasse mit Sitzmöglichkeit.

Es gab im Zimmer einige Insekten, einen Frosch, sowie Geckos, allerdings liegt die Unterkunft auch total im Grünen, also nicht weiter schlimm. Leider war der Geruch im Badezimmer wirklich grauslich, die Wände teils schwimmlig und ohne Fenster hat sich die Feuchtigkeit auch gehalten, was die Luft und den Geruch nicht verbessert hat. Durch starken Regen wurde unsere Wäsche, die wir um viel Geld verhältnismässig gewaschen haben, nicht trochen. Natürlich kann niemand das Wetter beeinflussen, allerdings hätten wir uns ein bisschen Unterstützung zur Lösung (Möglichkeit im Zimmer aufzuhängen etc.) und ev. ein Zuvorkommen beim Preis gewünscht.

Amazing. Totally clean. New shower. Very very friendly owner and staff. Breakfast purely exceptional. 400 meters from the city center but absolutely no noise — you can sleep the window open if you like. Plenty of birds around, and you can hear some peacocks
