Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Notre séjour au Radisson Blu Maldives a été absolument exceptionnel. Tout était excellent : la chambre, l’environnement, les activités, la restauration, la propreté et la qualité des services. Nous avons extrêmement bien mangé, notre chambre était toujours très, très propre et chaque fois que nous avions une question ou un besoin, nous obtenions une réponse rapidement.
Mais s’il y a un point qui a véritablement fait la différence pour nous, ce sont les relations humaines et l’ensemble du personnel. C’est sans aucun doute ce qui restera le plus longtemps dans nos souvenirs.
Avant de réserver, nous avions évidemment pris le temps de consulter les avis et nous n’avions trouvé que des commentaires extrêmement positifs sur le personnel. Nous pensions donc savoir à quoi nous attendre… mais finalement, nous avons été encore plus surpris par leur gentillesse, leur amabilité, leur générosité et leur bienveillance.
Ils ont véritablement fait partie intégrante de notre voyage. Ils ne se sont pas contentés de faire leur travail : ils ont contribué à rendre notre séjour unique, chaleureux et mémorable. Le personnel est constamment aux petits soins, toujours souriant et toujours prêt à aider.
Nous tenons d’ailleurs à citer personnellement les personnes qui nous ont particulièrement marqués : Nasheed, Sayyef, Prasad, Sajith, Nujoom, Ali, Bandara, Devendra, Chef Brandy, Elizabeth, Mattiy, Neeraj, Naufal, Rashmika, Chamara, Rodney et Basim. Il y a des noms que nous n’avons malheureusement pas eu l’occasion de prendre mais TOUT le personnel était extraordinaire !
Nous aimerions pouvoir faire bien plus pour eux afin de leur rendre ne serait-ce qu’une partie de tout ce qu’ils nous ont apporté pendant notre séjour. Malheureusement, nous pouvons surtout leur témoigner notre reconnaissance à travers ce commentaire et mettre en avant leur travail, car ils le méritent sincèrement.
L’entraide au sein de l’équipe nous a également énormément marqués.

وصار موقف معنا عجيب غريب فيه قلة أحترام ونحن في صالة الاستقبال ونحن مغادرون كان الموضف يقدم مشروبات للنزلاء الجدد وحينما طلبنا منه مشروب قال المشروب فقط للنزلاء الجدد ولم يعطينا ☹️
أخيرا عندما وصلنا إلى المطار رجعنا مبكراً وأقترح علينا الفندق زيارة إلى العاصمة بمقابل 80 دولار فكان المرشد سيئ جدا وليس لدية خبرة و لم ينسق الزيارة صح حتى كانت الطائرة سوف تغادر عنا

We also got a surprise treat in the room just by mentioning our anniversary trip on arrival to resort which was totally a big unexpected brownie points winner to attention in detail.. have no other words but thank u to staff and all management

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026The room was very spacious, and the AC was working well throughout our stay. It also seemed like the room had been recently repainted, which was a nice touch.
We joined two activities during our stay. The first was the snorkeling safari, and Mohammed, the instructor, was very friendly, professional, and helpful. We really enjoyed the experience.
The second activity was a dolphin cruise. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to see any dolphins, but the crew were very nice and apologised to us, which we appreciated.
The beaches are beautiful, and one of the highlights was being able to occasionally see nurse sharks while having breakfast, which was a really unique experience.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the facilities, activities, and beautiful surroundings.
Unfortunately, there were several things that could have been better during our stay.
One of the main issues was the lack of consistency with pricing and discounts. Some items and activities received the 10% Radisson Blu member discount, while others did not, and it was not always clear why. This made the pricing feel inconsistent.
The dolphin cruise was also disappointing. We paid almost $400 for the activity for two people, but unfortunately we didn’t see any dolphins. Of course, seeing dolphins cannot be guaranteed, but at that price, I would expect the experience and communication around it to be better.
There was also some inconsistency with the breakfast service. On one of the days, when the restaurant was almost empty, I asked if they could prepare a fresh French toast. My request was refused and I was told to take it from the display. I did so, but the French toast was very cold. What was frustrating was that on previous days, the same request had been accepted and the staff had even offered to prepare it fresh.
Another disappointing experience was when there was a hair in my wife's iced coffee. We informed the staff, and while they replaced the drink, there was no apology or any real acknowledgement of the issue. Even during checkout, when I gave this feedback, I felt that the staff showed very little interest or reaction, which was disappointing.
Another area that needs improvement is the communication and support from the resort host. It often felt like we had to arrange and follow up on everything ourselves. The host would sometimes reply very late or not provide a clear answer, meaning we had to do our own research to make sure we didn't miss anything or waste our time at the resort.
There was also conflicting information regarding the seaplane departure and checkout timings. The reception, operations team, and host gave us different information.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Our stay at the Radisson Blu Maldives was nothing short of incredible. The island is simply breathtaking, surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise waters that are full of colourful tropical fish, reef sharks, and an abundance of marine life. It truly felt like paradise.
We stayed in a water villa with a private plunge pool, and it exceeded every expectation. The villa was luxurious, spacious, and beautifully designed, with some of the best snorkelling we've ever experienced right from our doorstep.
The restaurants were excellent, offering a fantastic variety of delicious food throughout our stay. Every meal was a treat, and we were constantly reminded that we were in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
What made this holiday truly unforgettable, however, were the people. Every member of staff greeted us with a warm smile, and nothing was ever too much trouble. They made us feel like royalty from the moment we arrived until the day we left.
A very special thank you to Nujoo, Maty, Sundaru, Aiza, Rethes, Sharaf, Aalif, Adhilia, Nasru, Bandana, and Prasath. Every one of them went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We were especially touched when they organised a surprise farewell dinner for us on our final evening. It was such a thoughtful gesture and the perfect way to end an unforgettable holiday.
During our stay, we also booked two excursions with Ocean—one to snorkel with whale sharks and another to swim with manta rays and turtles. These experiences were among the highlights of our trip.
A special thank you goes to Subu, Hassan, Jiang, Firag, and Rakib, who were exceptional guides. Their passion for marine life was obvious, and they were incredibly knowledgeable, educational, and professional throughout every excursion. They took great care to ensure we had an amazing experience while also showing genuine respect for the wildlife and the marine environment.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026From arriving, our host Charan gave us a tour, and all the staff at each step of the stay were really kind and helpful; we had a very pleasant experience. The weather was on our side too, with only 1 day of rain in the 7 days we stayed. There was a variety of dining options, and they weren't too bad either, but we were used to better dining here in London, UK. The water sports were really fun and safe. The twice-daily room cleaning was a nice touch, and they surprised as with cakes/chocolates and bed decorations on more than 1 occasion, which was exceptional. The outdoor fine dining experience, which we paid a premium for, was also very nice. The food palette was nice, but since we are of Bangladeshi ethnicity, it wasn't quite what we were used to, but still enjoyable with all the courses. But I don't think I'd be ordering the same menu again. The dessert was the best part. Overall, it was a positive experience. We stayed in an overwater villa with a private pool with a sunrise view, which is an experience you can only get at private resort islands, hence we were prepared to pay the overpriced fees.
As this was a 5-star resort, I would like to raise the following room for improvement points.
The 10% restaurant discount wasn’t worthwhile due to the hotel’s 10% service fee, 17% charge, and generally overpriced items compared to the mainland. More offers for water sports and fine dining were expected.
The decor for the outdoor dining experience could have been better setup to make it the same as from the brochure picture and table cloth secured to the table sides in order to stop the wind excessively making it flap, at one point it flapped to knock over one of the glasses which shattered, it was replaced.
Two tiles on the bottom step of the private pool came off and were already loose.
The toilet tissue holder wasn’t secured or level, causing the roll to fall off at times.
Villa keycard stopped working, contacting host via WhatsApp was slow. Main line rang out, we waited outside until buggy passed to take us to reception. A consolidated comms option would have helped.
Net speeds were slow at 9 Mbps down / 3 Mbps up. Reporting it, speeds increased to 34/10 Mbps, an eSIM provided 85/18 Mbps, suggesting resort’s network was limited.
Some outdoor wooden furniture was worn and needed protection.
The shower temperature didn’t match the lever markings and required adjustment.
The American pool table in the games room was bowed, and one pocket lining was missing.
There was dirt on one of the outdoor side windows of our villa.
Dining, water sports, and outdoor fine dining were significantly more expensive than similar off‑island experiences.
As a Muslim, I attended the Friday prayer, the sermon would have been better in English, or partly in English, since it’s the island's common language.

The food wasn't very tasty. There was only something to eat at the paid restaurant. It took 30-40 minutes to wait for meals every evening. The breakfast was just fried eggs, and it took 20 minutes.
We took the all-inclusive option, but we ended up paying for everything. What's the point of all-inclusive if you have to pay for everything?

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Wij bleven ons maar verbazen hoe goed de service hier is en hoe onwijs lief het personeel is. Alles is hier tot in de puntjes geregeld en iedereen doet hier echt z’n best om je verblijf zo bijzonder mogelijk te maken.
We hebben de walvishaaien tour gedaan via het resort en ook dit was super geregeld. Ze hebben er alles aan gedaan om ons een walvishaai te laten zien en zijn zelfs nog langer doorgegaan.
Daarom ook enorm bedankt naar al het personeel die ons verblijf onvergetelijke hebben gemaakt! ❤️

We paid for the premium all inclusive package for my whole family which include my wife, my daughter and two grandchildren aged 13 and 15. we were disappointed with the quality of food provided. they looks great on the plate but the taste were bland. The BBQ lobster were mushy and tasteless. Lamb were tough. Even the beef tasted bland. But to be fair, the F N B director Nattey went all out to prepare our table for us. even arrange a live band to perform for us! . The package also included a Dolphin excursion , but we spent one hour on a very rough sea ride on a speedboat with no dolphin in sight!

Reviewed May 29, 2026I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was wonderful from the moment we arrived. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was also absolutely yummy, with lots of delicious options every day. The atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and enjoyable, and I truly had a great experience overall.
The only thing I didn’t like was my experience with the doctor after I got sunburned. I understand it was my mistake for not putting on sunscreen, but I expected a bit more care and professionalism. She seemed angry and didn’t even ask to check the degree of my burn. She was speaking to me from the doorway instead of properly examining me, which made me feel uncomfortable and not well cared for.
Aside from that incident, everything else about the hotel was excellent, and I would still recommend it for the great service, friendly staff, and delicious food.

It was exceptional. 1st the booking experience was incredible, super cooperative, prompt replies and thorough handling to all my questions and fears, very considerate to some changes. The facility itself is amazing, we loved our water villa and all the pools and beaches there. Food is great and love the kids eat for free policy. The checkout experience was also amazing as they made sure we catch out flight despite the change of weather and a delay in our seaplane, but we found a representative waiting for us in Male airport to help us in our check in.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Nous avons séjourné 10 jours et 9 nuits dans le cadre de notre lune de miel et gardons un excellent souvenir global de notre expérience.
Le personnel a été globalement très accueillant, souriant et disponible. Un grand merci notamment à Nujoom (voilée, très cool), Basim (toujours souriant et frais), Bandara (excellent “French toast” !), Akram (un peu plus discret mais toujours souriant), Tia (très efficace au restaurant Eats & Beats) et Haittey (particulièrement accueillant). Mention spéciale également pour les maîtres nageurs, toujours au top, attentifs et professionnels.
Parmi les très gros points positifs, nous souhaitons souligner la taille exceptionnelle de la suite sur pilotis, qui offre un confort et une sensation d’espace vraiment remarquables.
L’accueil et l’organisation du transfert aéroport/hôtel ont également été extrêmement efficaces : dès la sortie des bagages, le personnel de l’hôtel était déjà présent, et la logistique des hydravions était parfaitement chronométrée, avec une prise en charge fluide incluant un passage pour se rafraîchir et éventuellement prendre une douche avant le transfert.
Le calme du resort en période creuse (mousson en mai) est aussi un vrai atout, permettant un séjour particulièrement reposant.
Concernant la restauration, le buffet du petit déjeuner est fidèle aux standards Radisson, avec toutefois un manque de communication sur les différentes options à la carte incluses. Nous recommandons d’ailleurs plutôt les restaurants “Eats & Beats” ainsi que “Kabuki” (ce dernier étant temporairement fermé pour rénovation, mais nous avons eu l’occasion de tester sa carte dans l’un des autres restaurants du resort). Le buffet du soir, en revanche, nous a semblé en dessous du rapport qualité-prix attendu : le prix est élevé au regard de l’offre proposée (plutôt 60€ que 150€ selon nous).
La propreté des chambres est irréprochable, ce qui est très appréciable.
Je trouve qu’il n’y avait pas assez de points pour se désaltérer. Dans pas mal de resorts. tu as accès à de l’eau un peu partout. Je trouve qu’il pourrait y avoir plus d’endroits pour se laver les pieds plein de sable. Les sèche-cheveux fonctionnent vraiment pas bien. Mais c’est vraiment tout ce que j’ai à dire de négatif.
