The staff very helpful. They really were so kind and always helping. They also surprised us with a piece of cake or cookies. The food was delicious. We enjoyed to see the sunset from the rooftop with a cold beer in the jacuzzi.

That their is no elevator.

The resort was clean, beautiful and well maintained. The food at the restaurants was great. The staff were friendly, attentive and very accommodating. We had a wonderful time. Will definitely comeback.

Increíble hotel para alojarse en Coron! Cerca del centro pero lo suficiente alejado para estar tranquilo. Instalaciones geniales, restaurante muy bueno y desayuno muy completo. 2 piscinas. Y lo mejor el trato recibido. Son súper amables y hospitalarios, con muchos detalles que se agradecen mucho, cada día en la nevera habia algo, fruta, unos zumos riquísimos. Nos trajeron por la tarde galletas recién hechas etc . Muchas gracias Funny Lion por hacer nuestra estancia tan placentera ❤️

Les chambres Mara près de la longue piscine calme. Les chambres sont simples mais plutôt belles et bien aménagées. Le sac imperméable donné qui fut bien utile… La magnifique vue sur la baie de Coron au coucher du soleil ! Un ❤️ pour le resto mexicain !

Le fait de devoir payer un supplément pour un cappuccino le matin au petit-déjeuner ! Et les jacuzzis qui se trouvent sur le rooftop bof ! Le petit-déjeuner pas très varié !

Pool, large room. Small thoughtful details like setting up our bed at 6PM and staff providing snacks on the bed and fridge. Friendly staff. Food for breakfast was small range of choices but it was good enough for us. Hotel was kid friendly. Rooftop bar and food was top notch!

We had a wonderful stay at The Funny Lion Coron. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their genuine hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was comfortable, well-maintained, and a great base for exploring Coron. Highly recommended!

Say from Coron town -you need to walk/tuktuk yo get into town.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the rooftop bar and view are great (yay happy hour). The pools are nice, the room was very clean and modern. Comfortable bed. And a sweet birthday surprise, complete with balloons! Taco Tuesday at the Mexican restaurant was great!

The food menu is a bit limited on the roof and they don't start serving food until 3pm. The location is just far enough form town that I didn't really want to walk, but it was only about 50 to 60 pesos for a trike. The cost was quite high, but I think it's because the only room available was one of the large shipping container rooms facing the pool. It was nice, but I'm not sure I felt it was worth THAT much.

I’ll find it really hard to believe there’s better accomodation to stay in at Coron when it comes to overall vibe and staff willingness to attend to guest needs. It’s the first property I’ve stayed in where I preferred to have a day in then out. Weekly buffets and entertainment are amazing, double pool area is great. Rooms are spectacular, loved the vanity areas behind the bedroom. Staff are A+ very accomodating and friendly. Rooftop bar area is great for sunsets and pizza. All our tours were managed by Funny Lion. Best place I’ve ever stayed in overall. Would love to visit again.

Funny Lion Coron was just amazing! It was so easy for us to feel at home. There were so many things about Funny Lion that just added to the charm of our entire stay. From the daily meriendas, the room treats and samalamig, there was always a little surprise to look forward to everyday. It was also so convenient to just pass by the restaurant to get a water, or any drink, or approach anyone for assistance for just anything. Happy Hour at Pride Rock is also amazing because of the sunset view and the small pools. The staff was the best part. They are the sweetest and most accommodating people while still of course remaining professional. They helped make our stay in Coron so seamless. Shout out to the team for running the entire place so well.

The TVs can be updated into smart tvs so it would be easy for guests to pick their own shows or movies at night when they want to relax after a long day out. The current outdated tv models do not have anything interesting on. We almost never used it during our stay, and might just be a waste if no one else uses it either.

It's such a small and boutique hotel but close enough to Coron if you wanted to go in. The staff were SO good. The decor was beautiful.

I'm fine with this but the main pool sits next to a Mangrove so there are some funky smells, we didn't sit by the pool all day so it didn't matter to us but if you're wanting to sit out it might be off putting... One small thing, the window in the bathroom doesn't have a curtain so whilst the blackout curtains everywhere else were great, this let light in. Should have worn my night mask!

Pools and happy hour. Amazing roof top bar with spas looking over spectacular views. Buffet was hood range of food. Transport arranged was reasonable. The staff were very helpful and on arrival provided complimentary drink, tour of facilities and rooms along with funny lion gifts.

La verdad es que fue un poco decepcionante.

Para empezar esta bastante alejado de todo y tienes que andar un buen rato y el camino ni iluminado esta o tienes que coger un triciclo para todo. El desayuno ha sido el peor que he tomado en el pais. Solo te dan la opción de tomar café negro americano, horrible el sabor amargo y quemado, o pagar tu café con leche que no sabes si es aun peor que el otro mejunje. Ellos son super amables pero el hotel cojea. Si que tiene un estilo moderno y ellos tienen muchos detalles contigo. Pero el agua de la piscina esta como el hielo. Y las habitaciones estan super frias, ademas de que el aire acondicinado tanto si necesitabas enfriar como calentar la habitación, goteaba todo el tiempo e inundaba el suelo, no eran 4 gotitas. Ademas de las habitaciones tenian poca intimidad cuando todos pasaban por delante de tu habitación para subir las escaleras y subir arriba a la calle.

Air con turned off during the night as they sprayed pesticide to get rid of bee infestation. We both woke with sticky eyes so some chemical must’ve got into the room! Also saw a waiter scooping out a dead bee from one of the buffet dishes but left the food there

Très belle expérience dans un hôtel bien localisé, plutôt au calme, où le service est irréprochable (transfert depuis l'aéroport, organisation de tours en bateau, location de vélos, petites attentions, etc.). Les restaurants sur place et le petit déjeuner sont de bonne qualité. Notamment un petit plus pour le bar en roof top qui offre de magnifiques coucher de soleil qui peuvent s'admirer depuis des jacuzzis. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Rien à redire, notre séjour a été parfait.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux au Funny Lion à Coron. Nous y étions dans le cadre de notre lune de miel et nous n’aurions pas pu choisir un meilleur endroit. L’hôtel est superbe : les chambres sont très belles, impeccablement propres, décorée avec goût et extrêmement confortables. Les espaces communs, les piscines et le restaurant sont également très agréables et parfaitement entretenus. Mais ce qui rend l’expérience vraiment spéciale, c’est le personnel : d’un professionnalisme remarquable, toujours attentionné et d’une grande gentillesse. Nous garderons un souvenir très précieux de ce séjour. Merci à toute l’équipe d’avoir rendu notre lune de miel si mémorable.

Ótimo hotel confortável com serviço de excelência desde a receção até aos outros empregados desde os bares a limpeza Tem uma ótima piscina e um bar com dois jacuzzi onde vens um ótimo pôr do sol e coquetéis ótimos Na recepção ajudante no que é preciso temos sempre triciclos para nos levarem para o centro Deram me um ótimo quarto perto da piscina o que foi muito co fartável para nós. O hotel tem 2 dias com música ao vivo e jantar de buffet vale a pena ficar nesse dia no hotel. Bom pequeno almoço

It’s really a challenge to find fault at The Funny Lion, Coron. I suppose more variety of fruit at breakfast would be welcome.

Tout est fait pour que vous passiez un bon séjour. Chambre confortable et bien équipée. Tout au long de notre séjour, nous avons reçus des petites attentions : fruits frais dans le frigo, cookies déposés sur le lit, cocktail d’accueil, sac en toile,… Personnel très agréable et toujours disposés à rendre notre séjour agréable. Restaurant mexicain très bon, parfait pour passer une bonne soirée. Bel vue depuis le bar du rooftop!

ローケーションとして、あの価格で、屋上からしか海が見えないというのはどうかと思った。マイナス点ではないが、宿泊客は、欧米の若者中心。紹介されたアクティビティは、催行会社の問題だが、混んだ港からの出発、混んだ目的地で、秘境感はない。（その後の別の宿泊は、街には現実、出られないが、ツアー含めて秘境感満載だった）

From the moment I checked in, the hotel consistently delivered high standards. The staff were always available when needed, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The amenities exceeded expectations and felt lux for the area. Overall, a fantastic stay.

The property is really nice and we couldn’t fault the facilities. The staff are always on hand for anything you need. The Mexican restaurant on site is really good. They sort your boat tours if needed very quickly with transfers.

The only issue we had that is when we went to order lunch and dinner a lot of the food on the menu was sold out which made it difficult for my partner who is vegetarian. And I think 2000 php to the airport which took 25 mins was a bit much

All the provided facilities were great including a really nice breakfast with alternating options and multiple restaurants. Rooftop bar was perfect for sunsets and included facilities were nice too.

We went as a group of 6 and there seemed to be consistent mix up getting our names wrong.

I loved my 3 night stay. The staff are lovely and friendly, the room was very comfortable with lots of little extras (fresh juice and sweet treats daily), and the breakfast was varied with Western and Asian choices. Sunset from the roofdeck during happy hour was lovely - great cocktails as are the pizzas. I can also recommend a spa treatment. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Coron.

I had a very good time here. The hotel concept has very cool vibes Staff is GREAT (shoutout to Sha in particular) Great massages at the SPA Great vai set views and drinks Daily free juices (very good) Just loved the vibes overall, highly recommend this place. It has two restaurants inside and a couple others nearby (good Italian one 10 mins of walk)

Rooms are pretty standard, could be a little bit nicer Restaurants are overpriced and not outstanding. I had Parmesan pasta and did not felt well afterwards unfortunately

This is honestly the best hotel I've ever stayed at. They hit the balance between professional quality hotel and warm and welcoming vibes. The staff are so friendly and kind. The little cute details like the little baked goods they bring you every evening, the little gifts on your pillow and the cute signs just take this place to another level. The staff helped us with booking things and frankly every little thing we needed. The pools and rooftop restaurant with stellar food put it at the standards of any 5 start hotel. If I ever go back to the Philippines I'm headed straight here.

El sitio es genial, nosotros celebrábamos ocasión especial y es muy buena elección (lo pagas notablemente, claro). El personal es super servicial y amable. Tienes tuk-tuks en la puerta para cuando quieras ir al centro de Corón (a pocos minutos), que ellos mismos te los avisan y el precio es cerrado. La piscina está bastante fresquita y tienes puf y hamacas para relajarte, nosotros dedicamos una mañana a esto porque lo merece, y también nos dimos un buen masaje en el hotel. La cama y la ducha de 10.

El buffet del desayuno es correcto pero un poco corto de opciones continentales, y al pedir un café capuccino te lo cobran adicionalmente (no te avisan antes de pedirlo, sino después te traen la cuenta para que la firmes) porque solo incluyen su café de cafetera de émbolo (que para nosotros sabe bastante malo).
