Le personnel est très gentil, les chambres sont très propres, et l’emplacement est bien, cependant ça ne vaut absolument pas son prix, la Clim sort uniquement de l’air on mourrait de chaud, il n’y a pas vraiment d’équipements.

Colazione fantastica con anche possibilità di ordinare piatti non già presenti al buffet. Aperitivo offerto nel pomeriggio. Telo da spiaggia sempre pulito. Lettini nella spiaggia molto comodi.

Bubu Resort had their own boat from the mainland with covered (paid) parking in a secure lot. Bubu resort staff walked us from the office to The jetty, only 100 meters away. After paying a few Ringgit for MY Gov fees, we boarded the boat. The boat ride was good, only 30 minutes (take motion pills if you get seasick). We arrived about 12, were served coconut lemon water drinks (free) and relaxed in the shaded lobby while rooms were cleaned and luggage to the room. The restaurant is open all day so that was an option. The resort is right on the beach so there was plenty to see. If you are local don't be shocked by the skimpy bikinis lining the jetty walkway. There are many muslima swimsuits too. Swimming is shallow, except right near the buoy rope separating water taxis from swimmers. You can hire taxis to go to other villages or the big island for less than RM50. Or, hire a private snorkeling/diving trip for a few hundred RM. High-end restaurant prices range from RM20 to over RM200 for high quality steaks prepared by 5 star chefs. There are plenty of other restaurants with local and western fare with plates from RM20-40. Lots of fruit drinks, shakes, desserts. The resort rooms are small (not like a boutique hotel) but comfy with balcony and room for a prayer rug at the side of the bed and full bathroom with soaps, shampoo/conditioner and thick towels. A convenience store down the beach stocks sunscreen, toiletries, hats, swimsuits if you forget a necessity. All of the staff were fantastic, smiling, and helpful. I will stay here again. Mimpi resort next door was offering a special on a happy hour (before noon) full body massage, I took advantage of it and it was great although their lobby and restaurant is chaotic the spa was quiet and relaxing. Bubu should offer something similar because I did not even realize they had a spa before I booked at Mimpi.

The water taxi that took us to the fishing village around the coast dropped us at the trash dump beach because he said the jetty was too high and the water low. We walked over to the jetty abc and they have stairs down so all size boats so you can go there. Tell the boatman to drop you at the jetty. We hired a great boat for the return trip.

La struttura è fantastica, posizionata sulla spiaggia più movimentata dell'isola con larga scelta di escursioni e ristoranti. La struttura si trova a pochi passi dal Jetty. Le camere sono spaziose con letti grandi. Il giro di drink gratuiti per l'happy hour è fantastico.

Il mare davanti la struttura non è dei migliori in quanto è affollato da barche per le escursioni e per l'arrivo dei turisti al Jetty. Quindi l'acqua è più sporca che in altri punti. Il ristorante dell'hotel seppur con una buona varietà di piatti, resta tra i più costosi dell'isola. La spiaggia in generale è piuttosto sporca e piena di rifiuti anche se il problema non è da attribuire all'hotel, che tra l'altro sembra mantenere i propri ambienti molto in ordine e puliti.

La buena accesibilidad y las hamacas en la arena de playa. El buffet desayuno bastante bien y con opción de pan sin gluten a petición en cocina.

El precio es elevado entiendo que por la falta de oferta y de espacio en la zona.

Camera pulita e confortevole. Buona la colazione, pur essendo vegani siamo riusciti a trovare un compromesso per riuscire ad avere una colazione buona.

Vicinanza al molo e zona mare impraticabile per la numerosa quantità di barche. La reception apre alle 7.30 e questo, non permette un check out "easy" se si deve prendere la barca delle 8, lo stesso vale x l'orario di apertura della colazione che se si ha la barca alle 8 di mattina, si rischia di non fare o di fare velocemente

Ho letto diverse recensioni critiche riguardo al rapporto costo/qualità che applicano parametri italiani. Però qui non è l’Italia ma un’isola sperduta della Malesia, per quanto frequentata quasi esclusivamente da italiani, in cui il Bubu non ha praticamente concorrenza in termini di servizi offerti. Quindi si paga come un 5 stelle italiano nonostante sia, per noi, un 4 stelle. E tuttavia non ho nulla di cui lamentarmi: la camera dí dimensioni discrete, con letto comodo king size e doppi cuscini, bagno in ordine, aria condizionata perfettamente funzionante. Il ristorante è buono soprattutto se puntate al BBQ, la colazione estremamente varia, il cocktail dell’happy hour servito in spiaggia un’attenzione gradita. Un grande plauso al personale, simpatico e gentilissimo.

La posizione vicino al molo comporta una certa dose di rumore e caos per i continui arrivi/partenze. Ma se venite qui non è per restare tutto il giorno sulla spiaggia ma per andare alla scoperta delle calette e dei punti snorkeling che si raggiungono in pochi minuti di taxi boat.

Secondo noi è la scelta migliore per le perenthian, per coppie, famiglie o amici. Il personale è gentilissimo e super disponibile, le camere sono molto carine e pulite e il lido è sicuramente il più comodo delle perenthian (vedendo anche altri resort, è l’unico con lettini con materassi alti; altri resort o non hanno il lido o hanno lettini scomodi - considerando che molte escursioni durano mezza giornata, ha senso puntare anche sul lido per avere comodità - alla fine siamo lì per rilassarci). In più ogni giorno hai i teli mare puliti e l’aperitivo gratuito. Anche la colazione molto buona e varia. Consiglio: prenotate con largo anticipo!

Contro: prezzi di ristorante e tour più alti degli altri (ristorante molto buono). Ma facilmente risolvibile andando ai baracchini in spiaggia per i tour e nei ristoranti limitrofi per pranzo e cena.

Il Bubu Resort si trova nel punto più vicino al porto di Long Beach, la spiaggia più viva e servita delle due isole. Quindi, la posizione è top per chi cerca comodità e relax, ma anche per chi, come noi, voleva fare escursioni e avere a disposizione diverse compagnie con cui farle. In particolare, lo staff è disponibile e gentile. Noi siamo stati supportati specialmente da Aung e MJ che sono stati sempre carinissimi e simpaticissimi con noi. Le stanze sempre molto pulite e ben climatizzate (anche troppo!). Il cibo del ristorante è buono e la colazione ottima.

Sicuramente le stanze potrebbero essere leggermente rinnovate, anche se non sono vecchie. Magari aggiornarle un pochino con qualche mobile nuovo sarebbe più carino. Unico appunto, per un Resort che alla fine è comodo, ma che non offre molto altro (esempio, non c’è una piscina; c’è una SPA i cui prezzi sono abbastanza alti e che magari si può utilizzare solo se fa molto brutto tempo), il costo è un po’ alto e, in generale, i prezzi sono abbastanza altini. Tutto sommato, però, ci sta e il cliente che prenota dovrebbe esserne consapevole.

La ubicación es excelente y está todo decorado con mucho gusto. El desayuno es súper variado y está todo muy rico. El personal del resort es realmente encantador.

Taille de la chambre à 4. Un peu petite. Sanitaires communs qui mériteraient un nettoyage plus régulier

La plage aménagée avec parasols et transats juste devant l’hôtel. L’apéro offert chaque jour avec canapés et boisson (large choix avec ou sans alcool). La qualité de la nourriture servie au petit déjeuner (notamment œufs Benedicte). L’emplacement à proximité de l’embarcadère permettant de profiter facilement des animations de long beach (petits restos, promenades vers Coral baie,..) sans être trop dérangé par le monde. Les aménagements modernes avec un charme local. La petite terrasse dans la chambre qui donne sur la mer.

Les prestations ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur des prix pratiqués: chambre ipetite avec salle de bain et wc (non séparé) dans le couloir! L’accès à la chambre donne sur l’arrière de l’hôtel avec installations techniques et cuisine ce qui génère beaucoup de bruit (notamment groupe électrogène). La climatisation dans la chambre est également très bruyante. Les serviettes de plages sont données au compte goutte. Les prestations en extra (spa, snorkeling et transfert) sont beaucoup plus chères qu’ailleurs sans justification. Pour info, il y a 4 m de sable entre le ponton et l’hôtel. Le supplément portage des bagages est donc totalement injustifié. Par ailleurs, il faut savoir que la plage est très loin du paradis annoncé. Un va et vient quasi constant de tracteurs tirant les bagages des hôtels environnants ou transportant des vacanciers vers le ponton génère du bruit et des odeurs de pétrole très incommodantes. Idem pour les bateaux qui viennent accoster à long beach. Attention aux ancres qui pointent sur le sable de la plage lorsque vous vous balladez le long de l’eau. Nous ne sommes pas des gens exigeants mais pour le prix nous nous attendions à un autre niveau de confort et d’accueil.

Forse non rifarei più il massaggio . Non era come le aspettative e non è stato di 60’. Non mi sono piaciute le troppe barche davanti al resort .

Staff gentilissimo, colazione e ristorante buoni, avere lettini con ombrellone sicuramente il plus, il miglior posto dove soggiornare alle Perhentian. Ci hanno anche organizzato il transfer per Redang con un gruppo di snorkeling per dividere la spesa (180RM a persona).

Mancava di un servizio lavanderia ma niente di grave.

Le petit déjeuner exceptionnel, je me souviendrai des “avocado toast”. La plage avec ses transats, sans oublier tous les poissons à voir juste à proximité. Beaucoup aimé la sortie snorkeling.

Tutto, struttura super consigliata! Staff super accogliente, gentile ed educato. Ci si è rotto il condizionatore nel giro di 24 ore lo han cambiato intervenendo direttamente da notte fonda. Struttura stupenda e pulita. Colazione squisita e varia.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im BuBu Resort und haben uns von Anfang an sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. 🌴 Die Kommunikation mit dem Hotel verlief bereits vor unserer Anreise absolut reibungslos. Besonders praktisch war, dass das Resort unseren gesamten Transfer zum Hotel und wieder zurück organisiert hat. Auch verschiedene Ausflüge konnten wir unkompliziert direkt über das Hotel buchen. Das Team war jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und ist auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Die Zimmer sind gross, sehr sauber und bequem. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei, was bei den Temperaturen natürlich besonders wichtig ist. Auch kulinarisch waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend und bot eine gute Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Besonders positiv fanden wir, dass das gesamte Restaurantpersonal sehr aufmerksam ist und auch auf individuelle Wünsche und Unverträglichkeiten eingeht. Das Essen im Restaurant war wirklich wunderbar! Einziger Punkt, den man bei der Planung beachten sollte: Ein früherer Check-in bzw. ein späterer Check-out ist nicht möglich. Deshalb empfehlen wir unbedingt, die Fährzeiten entsprechend mit den Check-in- und Check-out-Zeiten abzustimmen. Insgesamt hatten wir eine fantastische Zeit und würden das BuBu Resort definitiv weiterempfehlen! 🌊☀️

Posizione comodissima direttamente su Long Beach, proprio accanto al molo. La stanza era pulita e abbastanza spaziosa, con un bel terrazzino affacciato sul mare. Personale gentile e disponibile. La spiaggia è riservata ai clienti del resort e mette a disposizione lettini e teli mare. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche l’aperitivo offerto ogni pomeriggio agli ospiti direttamente in spiaggia.

I servizi e il ristorante hanno prezzi piuttosto alti rispetto alla media della zona. Inoltre, spesso i lettini venivano “prenotati” dagli ospiti fin dal mattino lasciando sopra il telo mare, anche se poi non venivano effettivamente utilizzati. Questo faceva sì che risultassero tutti occupati, nonostante la spiaggia fosse in gran parte vuota, con il rischio di non trovare posto. La spiaggia è inoltre abbastanza frequentata dalle barche che vanno e vengono, quindi non è particolarmente tranquilla.

Appena arrivati ci hanno offerto la colazione anche se non era prevista per il giorno di arrivo, abbiamo avuto modo di lasciare i bagagli il giorno della partenza usufruendo anche dei teli mare. Unica pecca di questo resort per noi è la posizione su long beach che è una spiaggia piuttosto stretta e soggetta a maree, infatti il mare dalle 13 si ritira notevolmente. Ci sono comunque lettini e ombrelloni molto comodi

Staff were genuinely warm and easy to approach, rooms were well-sized, and breakfast was good. The restaurant food stood out — really impressive. Having the beach and sunbeds right there is a big plus, and the spa masseuses were excellent. One unexpected highlight: no TVs in the rooms, which actually helped switch off properly.

Pricing is on the higher side for both the hotel and restaurant, though understandable given the island location and limited alternatives. The WiFi also drops constantly and requires logging back in throughout the day, which gets old quickly.

Sehr schöne Insel. Weisser Sand, faszinierende Unterwasserwelt, mehrere Tauchschulen am selben Strand. Personal sehr freundlich, Essen sehr gut und liebevoll zubereitet. Zimmer eher klein, aber sauber und modern.

Ca. 3x pro Tage landen die Schiffe am nahegelegenen Steg, wo dann Traktoren die Touristen über den Strand von und zu den Hotels fahren. Kann zwischendurch nerven, wenn man im Liegestuhl Ruhe sucht.

Geweldige plek aan het strand. Super relaxte sfeer. Heel fijn personeel. Met extra kudo’s voor de medewerker die ons hielp met de retour per jetty , wat eerst helaas mis ging.

De kamers (4-persoons) zijn behoorlijk klein. Zeker gezien de prijs. Tip: wij hadden per ongeluk zelf een jetty geboekt. Doe dit vooral niet en regel de overtocht gewoon via het hotel. Wat een gedoe daar. Ik adviseer vergaande regulering. :).

L’amabilité et le professionnalisme des employés du resort. Très belle plage avec transats à disposition, le cocktail offert avec les amuse-bouches. Les restaurants à proximité disposés tout le long de la plage , un large choix pour le déjeuner ou le dîner.

Le taxi-tracteur qui passe sans cesse devant les transats toute la journée pour déposer des clients d’autres resorts. Vétusté de la chambre. Pas d’eau chaude de tout le séjour/ pas de plateau thé/café etc…mis à disposition dans la chambre/pas de télé. Petit déjeuner minimaliste. Restaurant cher, les prix proposés par les restaurants de la plage sont plus intéressants. Rapport qualité/prix: pas loin de 500€ la nuit.

Nous avons passé 4 jours merveilleux au Bubu Resort et nous en gardons un souvenir inoubliable ! L'emplacement est tout simplement parfait, avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres avec vue sur l'océan, et cela en valait vraiment la peine. Les chambres sont confortables, la literie est excellente, et tout le personnel est d'une gentillesse et d'une attention remarquables. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, tout comme le restaurant où l'on dîne les pieds dans le sable, dans un cadre idyllique. Nous avions également choisi le transfert organisé depuis l'aéroport, et nous ne pouvons que le recommander. L'organisation est irréprochable : dès notre arrivée, nos bagages ont été pris en charge, transportés jusqu'au bateau, puis directement déposés dans nos chambres. Un vrai confort ! Enfin, l'excursion de snorkeling proposée par le resort est un incontournable. Tout était parfaitement organisé, notre guide était très sympathique, et nous avons eu la chance d'observer des requins, des tortues et une multitude de poissons tropicaux. Un immense merci à toute l'équipe du Bubu Resort pour son accueil chaleureux. Grâce à vous, nous nous sommes véritablement sentis au paradis !

The staff were excellent - very attentive, kind and helpful. The location is absolute bliss and can’t be faulted! Crystal clear waters and incredible snorkelling surrounds you. The restaurant food was divine and we ate there every night. An absolutely unforgettable experience - thank you so much!

The showers were not hot, and we did have a massage in the spa which we felt did not match the rest of the hotel experience.

Tout était parfait. Le petit‑déjeuner était excellent, tout comme l’happy hour avec une consommation offerte, un vrai plus. Au niveau de la jetée, la possibilité de faire du snorkeling est incroyable : on se croirait dans un aquarium géant. La surprise préparée pour notre événement important nous a beaucoup touchés. L’accueil du personnel est irréprochable, toujours souriant et attentionné. Le service de transfert était également top : un peu plus cher, mais tellement plus confortable et tranquille.Un grand MERCI pour tout.

La posizione è molto bella. Una struttura sulla spiaggia, semplice, era quello che desideravamo. Il personale gentile. Servizi buoni per un tre stelle

Il prezzo è sproporzionato, ci aspettavamo più servizi. La camera è piccola, il condizionatore rumoroso, il bagno non separato crea un problema di accesso alla camera e di gestione generale. Il ristorante medio è molto caro, comparato agli altri ristoranti sulla long beach. Il personale gentile ma non gentilissimo: non appena si chiede qualcosa in più, rispondono no, gentilmente ma fermo. Quando i miei figli hanno avuto problemi di stomaco, ho chiesto al manager un termometro, mi ha detto che non lo aveva (lo dovrebbe avere nella.cassetta di primo soccorso); gli ho chiesto di chiederlo ad altre persone o ad altre strutture e mi ha detto di no, semplicemente. Me lo sono procurato dall'albergo vicino e da allora il manager non ci ha parlato più e la gentilezza e diventata freddezza. E così tutto lo staff. Attenzione: provano a vendere di tutto, dal ristorante alle escursioni, che costano molto meno dai vicini.

Todo!!! Es un hotel maravilloso!!! Habitaciones increíbles, desayuno de 10, personal fantástico. Es un sueño tener tumbonas y sombrillas en primera línea de una playa paradisiaca, un lujo total! El traslado en ferry a la ida y a la vuelta súper puntual y profesional. Sin duda 100% recomendable. No es barato pero merece la pena sin duda, volvería mil veces!

Het is een mooi en fijn resort. Het ligt op een goede locatie aan het strand.

Très bonne situation, hôtel très confortable et personnel aux petits soins. Chaque jour un cocktail au choix est offert qu’on vous apporte même sur la plage! Petit déjeuner de grande qualité. Excellent restaurant même si nettement plus cher qu’ailleurs.

Petit bémol : La chambre très confortable n’est pas très grande et la vue latérale sur mer est visible … seulement du balcon.

Absolument tout était incroyable! L’hôtel est magnifique, les chambres sont très confortables. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Tous les jours un cocktail et des petits canapés sont offerts! Et le personnel est au petit soin.

La playa no es privada del hotel y están continuamente pasando cochecitos con maletas y gente de otros alojamientos. No tenía ni piscina, ni gimnasio ni spa, ni otros servicios ni instalaciones lógicas y normales de los hoteles de playa

abbiamo avuto un problema con aria condizionata non risolta la sera pur segnalata ma non verificata veramente perchè era tardi e dopo una certa ora la reception chiude, per cui non sono potuti intervenire nuovamente. L'indomani però ci hanno cambiato la stanza.

The noise of the boats and tractor to bring people to the peer is the worse thing, but we can forgive because is a necessary evil, and not hotel fault.

De all-over experience. Zeer vriendelijk, aardig, gastvrij personeel. Fijne ligbedden alleen voor gasten. Iedere dag nieuwe strand handdoek en een gratis cocktail. Geen insecten. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet en heerlijk a la carte menu.

I had a wonderful stay at BuBu Resort. The location is truly paradise: a beautiful beach, clear water, comfortable sun loungers, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant was also excellent. Every meal was delicious, with a great selection of dishes and consistently good quality. What made the experience even more special was the staff. Everyone was kind, welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. I really appreciated the genuine hospitality and the care shown throughout my stay. Thank you to the entire BuBu Resort team for making my time on Perhentian Island so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this resort and would be very happy to come back.

Die Lage direkt am Meer ist ideal. In wenigen Minuten ist man bei unterschiedlichsten Restaurants. Service und Frühstück sind auch definitiv Pluspunkte. Es gibt für die Gäste extra reservierte Strandliegen mit Schirm.

Die Preise pro Nacht sind wirklich hoch. Auch die Aktivitäten oder der Boatshuttle sind deutlich teuerer als es sein müsste. Es gibt jedoch genug günstigere Alternativen direkt nebenan oder am Schalter der Boat Jetis, sodass man nicht darauf angewiesen ist.

The staff are fabulous...Ching, Nina, Kairul, Hanif, another front desk girl, the restaurant captain and team, the porter team...the boat(divers team)....all are well trained and knows their job perfectly.... This is a good resort to spend your holidays, with friendly helpful people ...

Abbiamo trascorso un piacevole soggiorno in questo resort. Struttura molto pulita, accogliente e curata nei minimi dettagli. Il ristorante offre piatti molto buoni e anche la colazione è stata soddisfacente, con una buona varietà di scelta. L'unico piccolo aspetto da segnalare è l'assenza di un servizio di lavanderia, che potrebbe risultare comodo per chi si ferma più giorni. Tuttavia, nelle vicinanze sono presenti diversi shop dove è possibile lavare i propri vestiti senza difficoltà. Un ringraziamento speciale va a tutto lo staff, sempre estremamente disponibile, gentile e pronto ad aiutare per qualsiasi esigenza. Grazie mille per l'ospitalità!

Struttura ben pulita, moderna, dotata di tutti i comfort. Drink all’accoglienza ed happy hour ogni pomeriggio con primo drink gratuito. Ristorante migliore dell’isola anche se i prezzi sono più alti, la qualità si sente.

Segnalo solo che in alcuni periodi nel primo pomeriggio davanti l’hotel c’è la bassa marea. A noi personalmente piaceva anche questo aspetto.

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, der Service ist super. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und man bekommt jeden Tag neues Wasser. Das Restaurant ist genial und man hat immer eine Liege am Strand. Es war perfekt.

Very expensive for what you get… Very tiny room (I was alone and bearly had space to open my suitcase…), super basic. Restaurant has super pricy meals (~30€ !!), when you can eat for 3$ at the numerous beach restaurants !!

L’hôtel s’est très bien passé. Le personnel est aux petits soins et toujours très souriant, que ce soit à la réception ou au restaurant. Les chambres sont très confortables, et le petit-déjeuner est excellent : c’était l’un des meilleurs que nous ayons pris. Enfin, j’y ai vécu un moment très important, accompagné par une équipe particulièrement investie, que je remercie chaleureusement.

Le stanze hanno una buona dimensione e hanno tutte un terrazzino con vista mare. La colazione è ampia e buona e viene fatta in riva al mare. Lo staff è super, è disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza a tutte le ore. La struttura offre anche un servizio di navetta (auto+ barca) dall'aeroporto al resort, molto comodo per arrivare lì senza troppi pensieri.
