Me gustó la ubicación, al final de Long Beach y alejada del bullicio de gente y de barcos y con una buena playa en frente. También me pareció destacable la restauración, tanto el desayuno como las comidas y el servicio de bebidas, muy por encima de las otras ofertas de Long Beach.

Perfecte accomodatie met alle faciliteiten. Luxe en comfortabele kamer. Zeer vriendelijk personeel die overal mee willen helpen. Heerlijk eten aan het strand en een leuk aanbod om de omgeving te verkennen.

Bubu Villa je naprosto luxusní ubytování, podle mě nejlepší na Long Beach. Měli jsme vilku s uzavřeným vstupem a krásnou předzahrádkou. Snídaně famózní, velmi milý personál.Bylo potěšující, že jsme každý den odpoledne dostávali koktejl drink a kanapky.Úklid precizní, všude čisto. I přes velké odlivy byla tato část pláže vždy u vody. Šnorchlování výborné u přístavu nebo na protihlehlé straně ostrova, kam se dá dostat pěšky za15minut.

Everything, the room is amazing, spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast has a good variety and they serve fresh juices, and very good options from omlettes, benedict eggs and pancakes. The hotel has a beach with sunbeds available only for guests and they also provide beach towels everyday. The hotel is positioned at the end of Long Beach, less crowdy and more relaxing

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cet établissement, la villa était très confortable, le restaurant était excellent et la plage avec les transats privées étaient très agréables. Un grand merci au personnel qui a été très chaleureux.

Ein wunderschönen Resort, perfekt gelegen am schönsten Strandabschnitt am Longbeach. Die Villas sind komfortabel, sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Küche macht einen super Job. Mit Abstand das beste Restaurant auf der Insel. Das Team ist wie Familie, wir reisen sehr viel und haben nirgendwo eine solch harmonische und herzliche Atmosphäre gespürt. Wir freuen uns zum sehr bald wieder zu euch zu kommen ❤️

The charm and authenticity of this small hotel are remarkable : beautiful wooden décor, spotless rooms cleaned quickly and attentively every day, and an outstanding restaurant with generous, delicious food. Special mention to Hakim and Adam at the restaurant, who made us feel like royalty throughout our week-long stay. The entire staff was warm, professional, and genuinely caring.

The restaurant is slightly on the pricey side, but the quality fully justifies it.

Location on long beach is perfect, garden villa was spacious and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had the most relaxing stay.

The Bubu Villa surprised us in so many ways! It is an incredible hotel, and we stayed in one of the villas, which was absolutely fantastic. But the best part of all was the amazing staff! They made us feel like part of the family — always kind, cheerful, and ready to help with a smile. A special thank you to Emma, to the Manta Diver Lady 😊, to the always happy and smiling Lady at the recption too, to all the guys who were constantly in a good mood 🤣, to Ron, with his good vibe and a big smile, and to Chef Waqa, who not only prepared fantastic breakfasts but also welcomed us after hours with what was probably the best chocolate cake I've ever had! (Sorry if I got any of the names wrong — I did my best to match them to how they sounded!) Congratulations to the whole team! We are leaving with the feeling that the Perhentian Islands are truly a place we will definitely return to. See you again soon!!

We stayed at Bubu Villa for 6 nights and overall had a wonderful experience. The resort itself is beautiful, very well maintained, and located in what is probably the best area of Long Beach. Being at the far end of the beach makes it much quieter and more relaxing than the rest of the area, while still being within walking distance of everything. Another great advantage of the location is that right next to the resort there is a taxi boat service, making it incredibly easy to explore the surrounding islands and beaches. Many of these beaches are even more beautiful than Long Beach itself and often almost empty, allowing you to enjoy crystal-clear water and stunning scenery away from the crowds. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly, from the reception team to the waiters and service staff. A special mention goes to the chef, who not only prepared excellent breakfasts every morning but was also genuinely kind, attentive, and remembered the hotel guests personally, making the experience feel much more special. The food was consistently very good. Lunches and dinners at the beachfront restaurant were excellent, and while prices are naturally higher than those at Long Beach restaurants, the quality of both the food and the service is noticeably better. The villa itself was outstanding: modern, spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. It offered the perfect balance between luxury and privacy, making it a fantastic place to relax after a day spent exploring the islands. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and the best location on Long Beach. We would happily stay here again.

The only small area for improvement would be the outdoor shower area used for rinsing off after swimming. During our stay it could have been cleaned a bit more frequently

Pulizia in generale ottima. Avevamo preso la garden villa molto bella, spaziosa e pulita. Colazione ottima e anche il ristorante per pranzi e cene. Anche la Spa piacevole.

Prezzo troppo alto sia per pernottamento, Spa ed escursioni. Aveva i listini di un 5 stelle ma in realtà è un 4 stelle.

Everything was good

Excellent location at the end of the beach. Villas are embedded in a nice garden, each with an individual inner garden/yard. The staff has been exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very attentive restaurant staff and the chef is taking care of extra wishes.

There is nothing to dislike in Bubu Villa; I would just recommend for anyone who stays at either the Bubu Villa or the Bubu resort to use their own ferry transport from the mainland, as the public agents are chaotic and completely disorganised. It is definitely worth it!!

Our stay at BuBu Villa from May 17th to May 26th, 2026 was simply excellent and unforgettable. A very special thank you to Khayroun, who takes care of activities. Beyond his work, he was incredibly kind, helpful and genuinely caring. We shared a beautiful sunset moment together as well as a forest walk, and those memories will stay with us for a long time. Such a pleasant and wonderful person. A big thank you as well to Waqar Shah, the chef. Breakfast was already excellent, but he always went the extra mile with a smile. He regularly brought us juices, local specialties and delicious surprises for us to discover. He was always attentive and caring, making sure we had everything we needed at any moment. I would also like to warmly thank Adam, Hakim and Abu Bakkar, who were all incredibly friendly, welcoming and always smiling. A special mention as well to Ashik Rahman at the bar, who also helped with evening service and was always very kind and pleasant. And of course, we must not forget the lovely ladies at the reception desk, always welcoming us with a smile. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the entire BuBu Villa team. Every single person contributed to making our stay exceptional. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this trip so special and unforgettable. We truly hope to come back one day.

L’accueil, le personnel, l’emplacement. Le confort, cette vue sur la plage. Le petit déjeuner excellent, les plats du restaurant également. Tout le monde était aux petits soins. Les massages sont incroyables !

The villa and location were absolutely gorgeous, food was great and the staff are extremely friendly, accommodating. A special mention to Ron, Hakeem and Harun, they have been the most wonderful and welcoming people that made my stay memorable. I recommend the water activities with Ron, he’s a wonderful instructor and guide.

Overall a really great hotel - lovely rooms, generally very nice staff, good food. For the best beach, walk over to the beach on the opposite side of the island (takes about 15 mins) and from there take a <5 minute water taxi to Romantic Beach.

On our first night there was an infestation of flying ants in our room. It was resolved within the hour by the night time maintenance team but management (who were aware of the issue) never enquired to ask if everything was ok or offered anything as a gesture of goodwill in exchange for our discomfort. There are a lot of boats going in and out of the beach in front of the hotel. The fuel smell is sometimes overpowering, including in the evenings at dinner if you’re eating in the hotel restaurant. Also, occasionally (maybe every 6-8 hours) there is a really loud bang that sounds like a gunshot. We never worked out what it was. We organised a snorkelling tour through the hotel. It was great but we later discovered that you could book them from providers on the beach for a fraction of the price.

Amazing property with top class rooms in an amazing location. Staff were so kind. Restaurant food was great - especially breakfast and the BBQ.

La propreté des lieux, des chambres, la plage, magnifique, les chambres très grandes et le ménage irréprochable, le jardin si bien entretenu et une mention particulière pour le chef, tout est bon du petit déjeuner au dîner. Sincèrement c’est la meilleure adresse de l’île, de loin!

BuBu Villa est pour moi sans doute le meilleur lieu où séjourner sur les îles Perhentian à fortiori à Long Beach pour un séjour détente en couple, en famille ou entre ami(e)s. Mention particulière à Hakiem qui a su rendre notre séjour encore plus merveilleux.

La posizione della struttura sulla spiaggia, la gentilezza del personale, la cucina (molto carino il bbq che organizzano la sera), comodità per la partenza per le gite alle isole. Grande plus la disponibilità di una loro barca (comoda e abbastanza grande) per raggiungere l’hotel. Consigliamo sicuramente questa struttura

Il prezzo è abbastanza elevato considerando la media locale. La stanza dove si svolgono i massaggi non è propriamente insonorizzata e si sentono i rumori dell’esterno

Tout était parfait : l’hôtel était formidable , un cocktail gratuit entre 16h-18h est un vrai plus et le personnel de l’hôtel a été incroyable avec nous ! Mention spécial à Waka le chef cuisinier et ses œufs brouillés du matin et également aux réceptionnistes de l’hôtel toujours au petit soins , nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

We had a truly wonderful stay at BuBu Villas. The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, with stunning turquoise waters stretching as far as the eye can see. We arrived several hours before the official check-in time, but the lovely Emma at reception kindly gave us our room keys as soon as our villa was ready. We stayed in a Garden Villa, complete with a private enclosed garden and an incredible outdoor shower — such a treat! The room itself was spacious and airy, with a large, extremely comfortable bed. The grounds were beautifully maintained by a dedicated team of staff, all of whom greeted us with warm smiles throughout our stay. A special mention to our friendly waiter, Haquim, who made sure we received our complimentary cocktails every afternoon. And we can’t forget the talented chef, Waqar, who prepared the most delicious breakfasts for us each morning (will be dreaming of the pancakes). BuBu Villas have a very land back vibe to it, nothing posh or over the top, just bare feet and sandy toes. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. Yes, it’s on the pricier side — but absolutely worth every penny if you are looking for total relaxation in stunning surroundings.

My husband, daughter, and I had a wonderful holiday at Bubu Villa in Perhentian Island. From the moment we arrived, the place felt magical—surrounded by lush greenery, it was like stepping into a peaceful tropical paradise. We were especially impressed by our spacious and spotless room, which provided plenty of comfort and relaxation throughout our stay. The environment was serene and beautifully maintained, perfect for a family escape. Breakfast each morning was a delight. The chef deserves a special mention—not only was the food delicious, but his service was truly top-notch. All the staff were friendly, warm, and always ready to help, making us feel right at home.

One thing to note, it’s that the rooms don’t come with a TV or a phone. So, for any requests, we had to walk over to the reception. It wasn’t a big issue for us, but it’s something to be aware of.

¿Qué decir de Bubu villa? Sólo tengo cosas positivas para decir, es un gran lugar, las habitaciones son espaciosas y comodas, tienen aire acondicionado y ventilador. El armario grande para dos personas. La cama super grande!! y muy cómoda! hay ducha afuera (para quitarte los restos de sal y arena de la playa antes de entrar en la habitacion) tambien tienes un grifo para lavarte los pies si solo quieres eso. Con grandes cristaleras que te da la sensación de estar en medio de la naturaleza. La comida es genial, el desayuno esta incluido y tiene de todo! Las cosas deliciosas salen de la cocina. te hacen algunos platos a petición del huesped, nosotros pedimos cada día huevos benedict con salmon (estupendos!!) y pancakes. En cuanto a comidas y cenas estas no nos entraban en nuestra reserva, la comida igual es más cara que en otros restaurantes pero la comida es exquisita!!! Tienen barbacoa de pescado, deliciosa. Tienen también servicio de spa, juegos de mesa, y para niños tienen tambien juegos (cubos y palas) para jugar jugar en la arena. Lo tienen todo pensado. Han sido unos grandes 4 días en su hotel, el staff ha sido muy amable y nos han tratado genial. nos gustaría quedarnos aquí para siempre :) esperamos volver!

La atención del personal, muy atentos muy serviciales, se preocuparon para que no nos falte nada y estemos a gusto durante la estadia. La extendimos. La recepcionista nos ayudo con una reserva en la otra isla y el cocinero en el desayuno nos venía a preguntar si estaba todo ok. La habitación muy cómoda, la playa muy linda. Hay toallas de playa y reposeras. Servicio a la playa. El restaurant está muy bien. Todo de diez!
