Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, die Anlage ist wunderschön, sehr gepflegt. Die Bungalows stehen so weit auseinander, dass jeder seine Privatsphäre hat. In der Nähe am Strand sind viele nette Lokale.

The resort was so comfortable, relaxing and quiet. We loved all the special touches like the flower petal art and napkin art. The accommodations were surrounded by beautiful gardens. We loved our stay.

The garden is immaculate with lots of details, feels like a little oasis! The staff is welcoming and really nice. Breakfast is delicious and cooked fresh à la carte. The property is meticulously maintained from the room to the sun beds and it is also super quiet which we loved!

Море - единственный минус. Купаться можно только в высокий прилив. Но мы об этом знали. Советую перед поездкой изучить расписание приливов, если для вас критично купание в море.

The resort is in an idyllic garden setting fronted by the beach. Its delightfully relaxed and "old school" in its attention to hospitality and comfort. The bar and restaurant are nice and simple, the pool and surrounding area well finished in a traditional Thai style of architecture. There were plenty of loungers both in the grounds/pool and beach so there was no pressure on space. It was a very relaxing environment and proved a great place to unwind

Nearby bars and restaurants are very "beach" which is to say fairly basic but relaxed. We liked them but if you are looking for gourmet food then you may have to step a little further out.

Tout était parfait, la taille du Bangalow, la propreté, les services, le cadre, le lieu, chaques détails est pensés, soignés. Cet hôtel est même largement mieux que certains 5 étoiles que nous avons fait en Thaïlande, c’est un véritable havre de paix, et bout de paradis sur terre… Location de scooter face à la sortie de l’hôtel, la nourriture est bonne, il n’est pas halal, mais le restaurant collé à l’hôtel l’est. Nous avons même prolonger notre séjour d’une nuit supplémentaire tellement nous n’avions pas envie de partir…

Des bungalows superbes dans un jardin splendide et décoré; un peu kitch mais vraiment dépaysant. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse face à la mer: un must!

La plage à cet endroit comporte beaucoup de rochers rendant la baignade impossible à marée basse. Le restaurant qui ferme à 20h??? Heureusement il y a le choix sur la plage.

Magnifique endroit avec des jardins joliment arrangés. Personnel agréable et serviable.

Ruhe und eine kleine übersichtliche Anlage

Wir haben uns grundsätzlich wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Aufgrund des Preises erwarten wir für 10 Punkte mehr, deshalb gab es Abzug. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist genial, es gibt ganz viel Naturschatten und ausreichend Liegen und Sitzsäcke. Der Garten ist mit jeder Menge Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und ein richtiger Ort zum Verweilen und Details begutachten.

Jetzt zu unseren Mängeln. Das Kinderbett war für eine 8jährige zu klein. Da kommt es wohl darauf an in welcher Hütte man übernachtet. Größere Zustellbetten gibt es wohl in der ersten Reihe. Der Pool ist schwarz gefliest und liegt in der Sonne. Nachmittags ist er daher nicht nur unangenehm warm, sondern richtig heiß. Das Frühstück gibt's direkt um den Pool herum. Da ich gerne vor dem Frühstück schwimme, musste ich entweder mit Zuschauern schwimmen oder vor dem allgemeinen Frühstück. Außerdem vertrage ich keine Kuhmilch. Am ersten Tag gab es eine Auswahl an Soja, Hafer und Mandelmilch. Am letzten Tag gab es nur noch eine seit Beginn unseres Aufenthaltes angebrochene Mandelmilch. Soja- und Hafermilch, welche in kleinen Tetrapax verpackt waren, waren aus und wurden nicht ersetzt. Am letzten Tag hatte ich deshalb weder Milch für Kaffee noch für mein Müsli. Bei diesem Preis erwarte ich, dass leergegangene Produkte an nächsten Tag ersetzt werden. Erst war die Hafermilch leer, dann die Sojamilch und am letzten Tag gab es noch eine tagelang gröffnete Mandelmilch, die ich ekelig fand. Sitzsäcke und Polster werden abends schon sehr früh aufgeräumt, sodass ab circa 20:30 Uhr keine gemütlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten mehr vorhanden sind. Da wir zu dritt waren und es nur zwei Stühle vor der Hütte gab, war das sehr schade. Gerne wäre ich abends noch am Pool oder am Meer gesessen. Diese Negativpunkte sind alle nicht gravierend, aber bei dem Preis plus 1000 Baht extra fürs Kind pro Nacht, steigen auch die Ansprüche und diese konnten nicht ganz erfüllt werden .

Baan Thai Lanta is an incredibly beautiful and charming place to stay. It is peaceful and low key so perhaps not for those seeking crazy nightlife. Staff are incredibly friendly and hardworking. The breakfast was delicious. There is a pool and bar where you can get snacks and drinks. We used it as a base to explore Koh Lanta and would highly recommend. A handful of laid back beach bars and restaurants are located just a few minutes walk up the beach.

As others have mentioned, don’t let the rocks on the beach put you off when the tide is out, it’s lovely when it’s in.

Weitläufige Anlage, sehr sauber, jeden Tag vor jeder Hütte frische Blüten am Eingang, so sauber und liebevoll ist die gesamte Anlage. Und das Personal sehr nett, respektvoll, fleißig.

Very calm and relaxing resort. Beautiful garden and kept very clean. Beach is accessible directly from hotel and during high tide you can swim too. Enough sunbeds for everyone. Also room service refills plenty of free drinks in the room. Breakfast included some freshly cooked egg dishes or pancakes.

The AC in the room is a bit loud during the night and when you turn it off the refrigerator will make noise trying to cool down.

Ich war das zweite Mal im Baan Thai Lanta Resort. Das Gesamtpaket ist perfekt! Für uns das beste Hotel, indem wir bisher waren! Man kann am Strand entlang laufen und hat diverse verschiedene Restaurants & Bars. Auch der 7-elven ist nur ca 5-7Min entfernt. Man hat kleine Bungalows und daher ist es sehr ruhig. Auch am Strand sind genügend Liegen vorhanden & auch dort ist es sehr ruhig. Das Essen im Hotel ist auch sehr lecker! Die Frühlingsrollen & den Mangopassionsfrucht Smoothie muss man unbedingt probieren! Wir noch den überaus freundlichen Mann hervorheben der jeden Morgen neue Blüten vor unserem Bungalow zubereitet hat!!

Ebbe & Flut ist unberechenbar & nicht jeden Tag gleich.

Waanzinnig mooi complex in een tropische tuin aan een heel rustig strand

Quiet, serene setting in beautifully kept lush gardens with direct access to a stretch of sandy beach. Traditional styled architecture merely added to the whole and enhanced the tranquil atmosphere. Plenty of outdoor space to relax in shade or full sun with a variety of sun loungers, deckchairs, bean bags etc to choose from and NOT crowded. Clean well maintained pool area with outdoor dining area and a small cocktail bar. Individual chalet style accommodation with private terrace included both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Comfortable bed !!! Friendly, attentive staff. Situated away from noisy bars but close enough to stroll to a variety of eateries and bars as needed. Loved the quiet relaxed feel.

Possibly one of the most relaxed places we’ve ever stayed. Koh Lanta is such a superb island and Baan Thai made our stay even more special. We were lucky enough to have 5 nights here and I could not have imagined how incredible it was going to be. The grounds are superb, so much love and care. The rooms are all nestled into the immaculately maintained gardens giving you such a great sense of privacy and serenity. The beach is so peaceful and, at high tide it’s lovely to swim and snorkel in. The breakfast is incredible and the staff are such lovely and caring people. Also, the cocktails are the best we had on our whole visit to Thailand. 5 nights wasn’t enough and I miss this place so much already. Thank you Baan Thai!

There’s nothing not to like

Die fantastisch gepflegte Anlage, die geschmackvoll eingerichteten Villas und die Lage sind traumhaft. Täglich werden Pflanzen, Wege und der Seerosenteich gepflegt. Das Frühstück wird individuell zubereitet und bietet ein umfangreiches frisches Buffet. Der Restaurantbereich um den Pool ist geschmackvoll angelegt und der Liegebereich entlang des Strands ist beispielhaft.

Es hätte nichts besser sein können.

The villas and the grounds are stunning. The gardening is impeccable and it feels very tropical. It is lovely to walk through the hotel. The staff are great. One of the most beautiful places we stayed it while on our trip in Thailand

The beach is not really for swimming. You can swim a bit when it's high-tide, but even then, it's not the best. Unfortunately with the location, there are many rocks. Nothing you can do, but the view is stunning.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Everyone was super kind, caring and attentive to our every need. My husband and I truly enjoyed hard time there so much so we extended it cause we didn’t want to leave. The properties located on a beautiful beach with the most amazing sunsets and many other restaurants and bars within walking distance. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you Marina and Nina. Het is een schitterende locatie met zeer vriendelijk personeel en heel lekker en verzorgd eten. De kamers waren fantastisch, leek een beetje op Balinese style, veel hout. De kamer was heerlijk groot met een fijne veranda. Prima strandbedden. Inderdaad waren er rotsen in de zee doch hier had je weinig last van bij hoog water. 7 eleven op loopafstand evenals verschillende restaurantjes maar je moet echt in het restaurant van het resort eten!

In de avond was er niemand in het restaurant, iedereen ging buiten de poort eten .Hebben er enen avond zelf gegeten ,was erg goed ( private dining). Puntje voor het management om hier naar te kijken.

Mycket fin miljö med vacker omgivning. De lade vackra färska blommor utanför rummet varje dag. Rummet är stort och välstädat. Vi njöt av vackra solnedgångar direkt från solstolen. Hotellet har gott om solstolar så du är aldrig utan. Lyxigt att ha tillgång och närhet både till havet och pool. Det är väldigt lugnt och behagligt. All personal var väldigt vänlig.

Frukosten hade kunnat vara bättre. Fanns inte så många alternativ. Sängen lite hård

The gardens were well manicured, which made the place more peaceful. Lot of day beds and bean bags by the beach, so we never had to worry. Breakfast was good too.

The stench from the bathroom was unbearable and it continued throughout our stay. This was unacceptable for the price we paid.

Das Hotel und die gesamte Anlage waren wunderschön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Man hat sich gefühlt wie in einer paradiesischen Oase! Wir hatten einen Bungalow in erster Reihe zum Strand (Haus 2, sehr zu empfehlen!), das war wirklich traumhaft schön und wir konnten von unserer Terrasse aus das Meer sehen & hören. Es gab immer freie Liegen am Pool und Strand und allgemein war es einfach total entspannt. Die Bungalows waren sehr sauber.. wir hatten vorher Angst wegen Moskitos, aber das war gar nicht so schlimm wie erwartet. Das Frühstück hat eine gute Auswahl an Speisen, besonders die Pancakes gab es für uns jeden Morgen.

The property grounds were emasculate. Everything was perfectly taken care of. The rooms were clean and comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast area around the swimming pool was very pleasant.

We felt the beach area could have been kept cleaner but the beach facilities were very good.

L’accueil, dans notre cas ( couple de 25 ans ), fut très froid. Le personnel de l’établissement est adorable, je parle de la réception. On nous renseigne à peine et on nous donne de faux prix pour les scooters ( après discussions avec d’autres clients )

Everything!! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service here was outstanding. There are just 15 bungalows situated in the most BEAUTIFUL grounds. Every morning we ate breakfast with a view out to sea. The breakfast was great, self select items and an option to order eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. The sun-beds are on the edge of the beach, with beanbags also available. Several parasols available but also easy to seek some shade under the trees. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The resort is located on the south end of the beach so it was quiet but it wasn’t far to meander along to restaurants and bars ( there was a restaurant next door). The beach is rocky as you go into the sea but if you head further up the beach there are less and there is big tidal difference between high and low tide, however this didn’t bother us. We really hope to return here on our next trip to Thailand.

Die Sonnenbetten direkt am Strand bieten einen tollen Ausblick auf das Meer. Fürs Schwimmen am Klong Khong Beach sollten allerdings die Gezeiten berücksichtigt werden. Das Frühstück ist eine Kombination aus Buffet und einer Auswahl an Speisen, die auf Bestellung frisch zubereitet werden, und daher durchaus abwechslungsreich. Unternehmungen können direkt an der Rezeption zu fairen Konditionen gebucht werden.

Der Kaffee aus dem Vollautomaten hat leider nicht geschmeckt. Aber das ist der einzige Minuspunkt.

A beautiful, small, and peaceful resort in a lovely garden right by the sea – perfect for relaxing! All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they cater to every need. The restaurant's chef prepared every Thai dish for me without fish or oyster sauce, and it was always delicious! The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention – it was truly fantastic! A special thank you to Nina; your warm hospitality made me feel right at home! I will definitely be back! P.S.: 7-Eleven is within walking distance. Bars and restaurants with live music and fire shows are easily accessible via the beach.

The grounds were so beautiful and well maintained. It was like staying in a botanical gardens. Excellent attention to detail for amenities and little touches. Staff were so lovely and accommodating.

Pool was a little small although it was never a problem getting a lounger. The beach was a little rocky and had brown seaweed but this is no reflection on the property. Nice beach just a little walk away.

This was like a retreat. The accommodation, the grounds, the staff were all excellent.

Beautiful manicured gardens which were maintained every day. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Shower in room was a little dangerous with a step down to it. The tiles around the pool were also slippery.

The staff were all amazing. This is a very quiet little place that was very peaceful. The rooms were great, the beach chairs were great, bike rental and laundry handled by front desk. The food was really good; many times at the small places (I think there are only 10 villas) the choices are limited, but not here. There is a lot of thought put into everything, like the daily fresh flower arrangements all over the place. Just book it; it's worth it.

The beds were a little firm, but that is common in Asia. The only thing that was remotely a problem was the water pressure. It pulsed between strong and weak, although this was a minor inconvenience. If you aren't familiar with this area, there is a lot of coral, so the beach isn't the most swimmable.

De tuin is prachtig, overal bloemen en heerlijke plekjes om te liggen en zitten bij het strand. Fantastisch uitzicht, lief personeel, heerlijk ontbijt, prachtige villa, echt een paradijs hier op het eiland!

Everything!! The location is perfect - we loved Klong Khong beach and loved how this was just at the end out of the way but within walking distance to everything. The gardens are absolutely incredible. The room was perfect. Excellent value.

Die Anlage ist ein Traum! Ein kleines Paradies - Garten Eden! So viel Liebe zum Detail wird geschenkt und das sieht man überall und jeden Tag. Ein grosses Lob an alle Mitarbeiter die die Anlage pflegen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind grosszügig, komfortabel und sehr sauber! Der Strandabschnitt ist wunderschön und sehr privat. Man hat genung Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück ist ein Mix aus Buffet und Menu. Auswahl ist genug und schmeckt sehr gut. Die Lage ist perfekt um die Insel zu erkunden. Es liegt ruhig, und doch ist man nicht weit von Allem. Es gibt am Strand entlang und an der Hauptstrasse genug Lokale und Restaurants. Visavis vom Hotem gibt es gut und günstige Rollerverleih. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt sind die Preise im Hotel selber. Haben wir als etwas zu teuer empfunden. Aber ansonsten ist es nahezu perfekt. Wir haben die Zeit soo sehr genossen. Wir hoffen, wir kommen bald wieder!

Preise im Hotel. Könnte etwas günstiger sein. Bei Ebbe kann man nicht baden. Aber da kann das Hotel ja nichts dafür. So ist die Natur :). Aber dennoch schön zum Anschauen.

שטח המלון, הגנים, הבריכה וכל השטחים המשותפים מתוחזקים ברמה הכי גבוה שראיתי. החדר גדול ומרווח, נקי מאוד! מרפסת כיפית. בריכה מושלמת! חוף ים צמוד פשוט נפלא.

הרבה יתושים. וזה החיסרון היחיד. כי כל השאר פשוט מושלם. לא הייתי מוותרת על המלון הזה , הארכנו בלילה נוסף מרוב שנהננו.

This place has the most amazing garden I've ever seen. The attention to detail and meticulous care put into it is truly breathtaking. The fragrance alone is wonderful, and returning here after a day of exploring feels like coming home to your own personal oasis. The room is spacious and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast offers a nice combination of a basic buffet alongside a menu card with multiple options to choose from, which worked perfectly for us. The staff is wonderful, especially the woman at reception who is truly amazing and made our stay even more special. Highly recommended!

The coffee quality could be better, and offering halal food options would make a big difference for Muslim guests. Since this is a majority Muslim island, finding a halal supplier should be straightforward and would be a meaningful addition. The air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, which some guests might find uncomfortable or potentially problematic. Adjusting the airflow direction would be helpful. These are small points that would make an already excellent property even better.

Traumhafte Anlage direkt am Strand, schönes Frühstücksbuffet, die ganze Anlage ist liebevoll ausgestattet, die Zimmer im Bungalow Stil sind geräumig und sehr schön eingerichtet - sogar Mückenspray war vorhanden, obwohl es keine Mücken hatte. Wir waren an Weihnachten dort und es gab Geschenke in Form von einer Tombola und ein Abschiedsgeschenk. Viele Restaurants am Strand zu Fuss erreichbar.

This hotel is a true dream. It is small / boutique so you never feel crammed, there is so much space to walk around, it feels luxurious. The beach set up is absolutely wonderful. The staff is great. The food also delicious. We stayed with our toddler and would absolutely come back to Koh Lanta again just to stay ar Baan Thai Lanta resort. The gardens are also an absolute dream. Thank you so much!

We loved everything.

Precies zoals je een boutique resort wil: schoon, rustig en mooi. We zijn amper van het terrein afgekomen, wat voor ons uniek is, anders dan om wat te eten op het strand of de zee in te gaan. Het is geen splinternieuw resort, maar exceptioneel mooi onderhouden. Prachtige tuin, iedere dag nieuwe bloemen in potten, tot in de kleinste details verzorgd. We hebben het heerlijk gehad en hadden zo nog een week willen blijven!
