Cat Bungalow

Really nice rooms, good breakfast, very friendly and attentive staff! Very budget friendly compared to other accommodations around too. You can hire bikes from them (use their practice ground if you are new to it), it is 10 min walking distance from one of the main beaches on the island. It is very easy to get to anywhere on a bike from the accommodation thanks to its location

staff were so kind, some of the nicest people we’ve met while travelling! Had a small issue with ant infestation on the first night but they moved us to a nicer room with air conditioning for only a small extra charge. rooms are super clean otherwise and very comfortable and the location is quite central also, would definitely recommend!

Todo

Super

Rien

The owners were really nice, welcoming, chilled, communication was amazing!

Very friendly staff, good location to explore the island, delicious cooked meals, excursions and activities can be booked through reception, rent a scooter is available on the spot

It is a family run place It was chilled and the staff was amazing

There was nothing I didn’t like about this amazing little gem of a place

Su personal. Nos ayudó en todo. Son encantadores.

Excellent host I use this place every time I come to lanta. Love it

Nothing

So chilled out. The staff are amazing

There was nothing I didn’t like. In fact having booked for 2 nights. I decided to extend my booking for another 4 nights

Loved getting a scooter lesson so I capsule explore with confidence

Great location

Je me suis sentie super bien !

Everything! Kindest owner and staff with great food for great prices at their resteraunt, stayed 3 nights but wished we had stayed longer. Very quick walk to the beach which was beatiful, room was cosy and comfortable.

I was here with 2 kids. The owner is so helpful. Nice and Clean room, breakfast is good. Easy bike rentals. They are responsive on bookings.com chat. (Huge plus) They helped me coordinate pickup and drop off from KBV to the Bungalow. I got the AC room so it was nice and cold. The restaurant is nice. It is perched on a hill, under the mango trees. Food is good. Yes the room doesn’t have a lot of noise insulation. Yes you might hear some road noise. Yes you will hear some people talking. Yes bugs exist in Thailand. But that’s grounding, and part of the Lanta magic isn’t it? And yes we’d come back to Cat again 🫶

Sound insulation is basic, so expect some road noise and people talking. Also, this is Thailand, so occasional bugs are part of the experience.

Accueil chaleureux. Très bon emplacement sur l'île. Petit déjeuner excellent et copieux.

Rien

Amazing place! The team is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast and the restaurant are both excellent, and the whole place feels so warm and welcoming especially with the sweet cats all around, which makes it even more lovely 🥹

Exactly as advertised, really nice hammock and sitting area outside the bungalow. Breakfast was included which was lovely and staff very helpful.

Nothing

camera troppo piccola, colore pareti assurdo

Hele aardige staff.

Chambre propre. Petit hamac pour se relaxer. Vue mer.

My return to Thailand after 15 yrs, saw me leave Phuket for Koh Lanta after 2 weeks- feeling a little jaded. After 2 days in Cat bungalows my faith in Thai Tourism and the people working in it was restored. Oi and her family are 11/10 people running a 10/10 guestthouse. The guests were varied, considerate and friendly, the location is great- 10 mins to walk to Klong Khong beach (good swimming on high tide), 30 mins approx to Bamboo beach or Old town by scooter. People visit from the beach to eat at Cat in the evenings, Ohes delicious flavours are consistently good. With an on-site travel desk Oi will coordinate anything (possible). Wifi is reliable and fast. Even comfy hammocks. The included breakfast is continental and good, there are cooked alternatives available for a small fee. Tip -There are a variety of rooms available and they're exactly as described, reserve the one that's finish and price will suit you. Beds are firm in Asia- it's a thing :) Also it's better for your back. I like Guesthouses, the connection and experience is personal, I was lucky to have come to this one. Booked 2 days stayed 8.

Beware 3/10 reviews, they are often made by 3/10 people.

Free breakfast which had fruit and yoghurt/granola. Free water refill. Scooters to rent for 200 per day, they even had a practice track where you could learn to ride the bike. Nice balcony with hammock. Check out is 12. Wide comfy bed.

It was up a hill, our bus wouldn’t drive up so we had to walk up with our bags. My boyfriend would say the shower was hot, I would say it was warm. Could do with a mirror in the room, not just the bathroom. About a 10 minute walk to 7-11/restaurants.

Oi was amazing host. Nice clean and comfortable rooms and quiet but not a far scooter ride to all the villages.

Breakfast.

Vriendelijk personeel

Erg basic.

Awesome place to relax and to enjoy lanta. Also they have everything, food, breakfast, motorbikes, laundry, etc

Super comfortable beds and pillows! Amazing staff, kitchen on site so you can always eat well. Breakfast provided is decent though you do have to pay for eggs Book everything through the hotel; they’ll get you the best rates including on pickup from the port upon arrival. Water cooler provided, which is so helpful.

Walls are quite thin so you’ll likely hear neighbors, and traffic from motos and Tuk tuks is still audible in the rooms, so earplugs recommended

Eigener Motorradverleih sehr praktisch. Alles perfekt!

Świetna obsługa i pyszne śniadania

Brak klimatyzacji oraz wentylacji w łazience

the cats.

the rooms felt like prison bunkers. we got a VERY tiny room and you could hear every detail from the neighboring rooms. the breakfast was very disappointing. if you wanted eggs, you had to pay extra for this even though breakfast was "included".

Well equipped, you can even use the kitchen

Feels transactional, staff was quite stressed

The site, the staff and the kindness of OI

No AC in the room

Great staff, and amazing location. The breakfast is included (extra for the eggs) . You can rent a scooter in the property.

The room is tiny, but still ok for us

Good breakfast, the owner speaks English, a few cats around, scooters avail to rent.

Shame the orange juice is not tasty and artificial ;)

The house was so so friendly and kind. Breakfast provided was yummy and basic. The cats that were there made the stay so good They were so cute. The rooms were basic and comfortable. I would say to upgrade to an Aircon one for more comfort. We chose to do this halfway for us stay and it was no issue with the hosts. Would definitely recommend this to anyone going to koh Lanta. Would definitely book again, thank you so so much.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Extremely clean!!! Comfy bed and friendly staff

It was so amazing, not expensive but got everything you need. Super clean, nice breakfast, comfortable bed and 5 friendly cats! The staff was really nice too and we were able to extend our stay twice as we liked it so much.

Amazing stay!! Super clean and very comfortable.

How friendly staff were.

Lots of friendly cats! Comfortable bed and nice hammock to relax in. Cheapest scooter rental in thailand from the property owners.

Nothing! Only suggestion is a bed side lamp 🙂

The nicest host and the great breakfest where you can meet and talk to other travelers :) good place to rent motorbike as well.

We loved the location, the owners, the room and the motorbike. It was so easy to rent a motorbike on the location and the owners help you with everything. If you want to book a tour or transport, they arrange it all for you. We stayed 4 nights here and we can really recommend it.

Nothing it was all great!

We had a lovely time with great service! The staff were friendly and they can cook AMAZING! Breakfast is super as well, everything you need in the morning, they were also preparing breakfast a little earlier because we had to leave early in the morning :) You can rent a scooter at the accommodation and there is also an option to do your laundry there :) Location is perfect, since you will be able to go to the north and south easily.

I loved how accommodating and friendly the staff were. They offered free breakfast and you can even order dinner here.

The bed was a little un comfy but i had good sleep overall

The owner and her husband are so so so nice, very helpful. You can feel they enjoy what they do ! And the breakfast is so complete! I was looking forward to wake up every morning :)

The beds are very hard

The most friendliest helpful staff
