Die hervorragende Lage und das komfortable Zimmer haben uns sehr gefallen. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das stets aufmerksame, freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal, das unseren Aufenthalt zu einem rundum angenehmen Erlebnis gemacht hat.

Wir haben zwei Zimmer gebucht – eines für uns und eines für unsere Kinder. Leider roch das Zimmer unserer Kinder sehr stark nach Schimmel und muffig. Wir haben das Personal bereits am ersten Tag darüber informiert. Daraufhin wurde das Zimmer gereinigt, wofür wir dankbar sind. Leider bestand das Problem weiterhin, da der Geruch offenbar von der Klimaanlage ausging. Abgesehen davon waren die Lage, die Zimmer und das freundliche sowie aufmerksame Personal sehr gut.

Great location with a small private beach. Close to a great restaurant with live music and fire show, but still far enough to provide quietness and peace at night. Extremely helpful personnel - they would help us arrange literally everything - from the transport, speedboat, including an emergency visit to a medical clinic.

Resort molto semplice ma ben organizzato, in riva al mare. Colazione Thailandese varia e molto buona. Staff molto gentile, riforniscono di acqua potabile ogni giorno. Spazi comuni belli, in riva al mare, sotto alberi che fanno ombra. Nel complesso esperienza positiva.

Non dispone di un ristorante aperto la sera, quindi bisogna muoversi per trovare qualcosa e bisogna usare i taxi dell'isola. Camere piccole e senza armadi, ma abbastanza pulite. Le zanzare non mancano.

Es una postal, como vivir dentro de una película. El personal muy simpatico, siempre siempre con una sonrisa.

Tener que ralizar las doce pruebas de Astérix para poder llegar al sitio. Deberían preocuoarse por la conexión de los huéspedes al puerto. Puede mejorar la limpieza y el control de los mosquitos.

Excellent location and a beautiful atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and the staff are really kind and helpful and work non stop. Free refill water was a bonus!

Only tiny improvements but more than one pillow would’ve been lovely, and the bungalows need some lamps.

A fantastic hotel that exceeded all our expectations. It is located just a short walk from the beach and offers delicious breakfasts with a varied menu in a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. Scooters can be rented directly at the hotel, making it easy to explore the island. The staff were outstanding and made everything incredibly easy. They helped us arrange scooter rentals, taxis, transfers, ferry tickets, and even onward transportation to Bangkok and other destinations, which made our trip completely stress-free. The nearby town is charming and full of great places to eat. The hotel also serves excellent freshly prepared lunches until 5:00 p.m., so it was easy to enjoy both breakfast and lunch on site. The rooms were cleaned quickly and thoroughly every day, and towels were replaced regularly. We would definitely stay here again.

Juste l'absence de rangements dans la chambre et la de bain.

Dans l'ensemble j'ai tout aimé, le lieux, les bungalows, le personnel, l'environnement.

Il manque peut-être un peu plus d'espace de rangement c'est assez rudimentaire surtout dans la salle de douche. Plus de crochets ou étagères pour poser ses affaires et pareille pour la chambre. Et aussi un manque des prises dans lesquelles elles tiennent quand on insère les prises des chargeurs mais aussi qu'elles soient plus proche du lit.

המקום נקי ומטופח עם שימת לב לכל הפרטים הקטנים. מנהלת את המקום משפחה מקסימה ולבבית שעושה הכל כדי שהאורחים ירגישו בנוח. דאגו לי למטען לטלפון כאשר שלי התקלקל כך שהתאפשר לי להטעין עד שלמחרת נסעתי ל 7-11 בכפר לקנות מטען חדש. החוף של המלון קטנטן אך במרחק 3 דקות הליכה דרומה יש חוף רחב ומקסים לרחצה. חוף נוסף מאד מוצלח עם הרבה בתי קפה ומסעדות יש במפרץ אחד צפונה - מרחק של בערך 20 דקות הליכה. ככלל, החופים באזור זה הרבה יותר יפים, שקטים ונעימים לרחצה מאשר החוף המרכזי של האי.

ארוחת הבוקר גדולה, נראה שיש ניסיון לקלוע לטעם מערבי אבל תוך שימוש במוצרים לא כל כך איכותיים - לחם לבן ספוגי לטוסטים, מרגרינה, ריבת ג׳לי, יוגורט ממותק, ביצה שמטוגנת בהמון שמן. כמו כן, אין הרבה אפשרויות קולינריות או לבילוי כלשהו באזור. רק מסעדה אחת באזור הייתה פתוחה בכל ערב, אולי מכיוון שזו לא עונת התיירות.

Staff were all super friendly. It had a cosy vibe away from action but you can scooter or bus into the main part of the island.

The staff did a great job of facilitating fun daytime activities and adventures from exploring nearby islands, snorkeling and even providing free kayaking right off their own beach. The restaurant served great food and everyone was friendly. Great for kids, couples and solo travelers.

Everything went very well. An incredible place immersed in nature: highly recommended if you are looking for peace and quiet on this island! The staff are very kind and attentive to your needs.

I has such a lovely stay at Horizon Resort. The whole place is very clean, peaceful and well taken care of, with a really relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect: very peaceful, great views over the sea, a small beach. Hammocks and plenty of sunbeds. The owners and the young team are absolutely wonderful — warm, kind and always helpful. Nice little restaurant which was reasonably priced. In fact it was cheaper than the town eateries. You can really feel how much love and care goes into this place. Thank you for making my stay so special — i would happily come back anytime. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The location was brilliant. Far enough away from the main town. Lovely walking the bays. All the staff were amazing.

Geen handdoeken voor buiten Gans de dag is er 5 man personeel blaadjes aan het opvegen, ik denk dat er nuttigere taken te doen zijn.

Great staff and location. Breakfast, food and drinks are all great and delicious. The staff is very helpful and kind. They keep the beach and around super clean at all times. Ladies at the reception (I think the owners) help us with everything and all information.

Extra's were not able to pay by card and the exchange office is only by the center.

Stayed there several times. Every time was amazed by their great service, clean water, delicious food and calm atmosphere.

Both Horizon and Viking are amazing, we stay here every time we come to Ko Samet. The ladies that run the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The beach is great, the location is great, the rooms are great, 10/10 recommend

Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt

The manager was super nice and gave me the room closest to the ocean. The hotel also rents out motorcycles and offers boat tours—but the best part is how friendly the staff is! It was a really fun trip.

A fabulous, rustic , old style beach resort. It's right on the beach. Great food plus a restaurant within walking distance to hear live music and see a fire show at night.

Mosquitoes, but that's Thailand at this time of year.

The team led by Tick and Thom were amazing - took care of all our needs. It is a very quiet place not meant for people who want noise/ to have a party. The food was basic & super. The location and rooms were very clean and staff very helpful! Each person always has a smile on her face which makes your day even better.

The fact that there is no food in the property after 5pm is slightly difficult to manage especially when you have kids in your family. There are restaurants within walking distance though!

Lovely hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere is quiet and calm, making it a perfect place to relax. Great location as well, just a short distance from the beach. Highly recommended!

The room was very nice and clean, it gets cleaned every morning over your stay, breakfast is very rich in choices between Thai fruits, eggs,sausages,muffins, veggies,toasts, tea and juices. The staff is extra nice and respectful, the place is nice, quiet, relaxing and very well kept.

The location was really good. I know the area and always stay around this stretch of Samed.

I found the resort too big. It has expanded and will continue to do so without any sustainability policy. The breakfast was very basic, instant coffee or buy real coffee at 60bt extra. Margarine instead of butter! Come on!

Petit-déjeuner sour forme de buffet comprenant fruits, céréales, plats chauds, œufs sur le plat ou omelette, saucisses, toasts, café instantané ou thé... Devant la mer, ça n'a pas de prix... Possibilité de louer un scooter... Propreté dans tout le complexe.. Bungalow simple mais très bien équipé... Le seul hic, c'est la lumière de la chambre beaucoup trop forte.. Il y avait une petite lampe d'appoint qu'il fallait charger via un câble usb... La plage était petite mais au calme et propre... Petites plages calmes dans les environs ou plus animées dans le nord... Je reviendrai avec plaisir... 😊😊😊

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Schöne, einfache Anlage, abseits des Trubels. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Hütten sind herrlich, erinnerte mich an Thailand von vor 20 Jahren.

Great resort, beautiful sunrise and the staff the two ladies running the place were absolutely amazing, nothing was too difficult for them and always willing to help. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful as well. Koh Samet is stunning, and easy to get around via scooter. Rental of scooter can be done at the property which is about the standard price for the whole island. Although beach was not really swimmable, there is a swimmable beach just a short stroll, and that beach also includes fire shows and live music. The grounds were very clean, location is okay as well. A bit of ride into town but not far, having said that walking distance to the best place to watch sunsets . Included breakfast was good enough, and we would not hesitate to come and stay here again

Лучшее место в Тайланде. Второй раз приезжаем и опять восторг. Тихо, спокойно, очень чисто, отличное море, приветливый персонал. Очень вкусно готовят в ресторане. Жили в двухэтажных корпусах, номера новые и очень комфортные. Абсолютный релакс и перезагрузка.

Как пожелание - продлить работу ресторана хотя бы еще на ужин.

Два отеля Horizon и Viking расположены на одной территории и принадлежат одному хозяину. Администрация, зона завтрака общая. Но номера (бунгало) Horizon расположены не вдоль береговой линии, а от неё вверх. Мне не понравилось только то, что мне дали самый далёкий номер от моря, к которому нужно подниматься вверх по ступеням, хотя в предварительной переписке я просила ближайший. Да, море видно где-то вдалеке, типа боковой вид, но прямо перед верандой задняя территория с парковкой, куда постоянно приезжают байки и такси. Видимо нужно было более внимательно выбирать номер при бронировании, а не обговаривать свои пожелания в переписке.

Очень навязчивая уборка территории, они постоянно что-то метут. Перед верандой с 7 утра уже человек с метлой. На веранду раздетой не выйти. Столько мусора нет, сколько они убирают, причём с утра и до темноты.

Amazing staffs and great location

Hier im Horizon Resort, in den wunderschönen, kleinen Holzhäusern mit Veranda fühlt man sich einfach wohl. Hier ist es viel ruhiger als im Norden der Insel. Kleine, wunderschöne Wege führen zu den umliegenden Resorts und zum Strand. Sogar einen japanischen Garten gibt es vor Ort, einfach herrlich. Das Personal im Horizon ist sehr aufmerksam und sorgt dafür dass alles sauber und gepflegt ist. Das Frühstück ist super und die wechselnden, warmen Gerichte schmecken schon zum Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Es gab thailändische Gerichte, täglich wechselnd, Toast, Brot, Erdnussbutter, Marmelade, Eier, tropische Früchte, Joghurt, Müsli und Fruchtsäfte. Das Restaurant schließt um 17 Uhr, aber in der nähe gibt es noch verschiedene Möglichkeiten zum Abendessen. Wer Ruhe sucht und die Natur liebt ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Sehr herzliches Personal, was sofort das Gefühl von Willkommensein vermittelt und eine liebevoll gepflegte Anlage am Hang. Nettes kleines Lokal (Achtung: nur bis 17h Verpflegung) mit guten Preisen und verschiedenen Sitzoptionen (Strandstühle, Holzbänke, Hängematten, Schaukeln). Kleine Strandbucht von idyllischen Felsen umsäumt. Insgesamt tiefenentspannte Ruheoase.

Hellhörig (hatten kein allein stehendes Häuschen). Wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten (weder im Schlafzimmer noch im Bad).

Immer hilfsbereit.
