Cinnamon Beach Villas

The location, it’s quiet and peaceful. The view is great. The staffs are friendly. Ziya restaurant is great and the food there is very healthy and fresh. There are little fish in the sea at the beach in front of the restaurant, so cute. Thought the tide might be up and down depends on the day but that’s the beauty of nature!!! Best for all age and group of people, no matter if you’re there for short term or long term. They will make you feel like you’re matter.

There are many steps from the room to the beach, not that I don’t like it but I see it as maybe something someone might not used to but trust me that you will definitely appreciate those steps because you get to enjoy your vacation and also get some steps in after the delicious meal at ziya. It’s only 40-50 steps that i always enjoyed:)

Mi è piaciuta moltissimo la vista dalla camera, soprattutto nel pomeriggio e la sera: davvero bellissima e suggestiva. Peccato che al mattino ci sia la bassa marea, perché al risveglio viene un po’ a mancare quella magia che si percepisce nelle ore precedenti.

La struttura in sé è molto bella e la nostra camera era davvero enorme, con dimensioni perfette e molto spazio a disposizione. Purtroppo, però, abbiamo trovato diversi aspetti che avrebbero bisogno di maggiore cura e manutenzione. I mobili sono piuttosto vecchi e in alcuni casi mal tenuti. Il materasso era il più duro sul quale abbiamo mai dormito e il condizionatore faceva un rumore davvero molto forte, tanto da rendere difficile dormire. Anche lenzuola e asciugamani, pur essendo sicuramente lavati, apparivano molto vecchi e non davano una sensazione di particolare pulizia. Il bagno è datato e abbiamo trovato anche diverse formiche. Avevamo la colazione inclusa, ma purtroppo l'abbiamo provata solo una volta perché non ci è piaciuta e nelle mattine successive abbiamo preferito fare colazione fuori. La posizione è piuttosto isolata e nei dintorni non c'è molto, quindi per spostarsi è necessario prendere un taxi. Personalmente, però, non considero questo un aspetto negativo: dipende semplicemente dal tipo di soggiorno che si cerca. Nel complesso, penso che la struttura abbia davvero un grande potenziale. Con un po' di rinnovamento, maggiore attenzione alla manutenzione e soprattutto più cura dei dettagli, l'esperienza potrebbe essere molto più piacevole.

La localisation et la route dangereuse qui mène à l’hôtel. Si vous n’êtes pas véhiculé ça risque de vous couter cher en Grab vu les prix appliqué sur l’île.

Les petits déjeuners sont extraz, le personnel très accueillants et la chambre super.

Ns n'avons pas pu profiter de la plage de l'hôtel, la marée n étant pas favorable lorsque les étions là. Nous avons par contre était à Crystal Bay pas loin magnifique puis Lamay beach superbe également.

It’s a 30-40min walk to anything - quicker along the beach in low tide. Staff weren’t very friendly. Villa is nice but hand towel, pillow case had stains, doona cover was ripped, furniture is falling apart at the seams. Didn’t appreciate that on payment it’s + VAT + 10% service charge so the price on menus/happy hour is not inclusive. These were sneaky charges & NOT mentioned anywhere. Then 3% credit card fee if you pay by card - might be standard in Thailand but by law where I’m from it’s 1.5%-1.9%

Un séjour parfait dans un hôtel magnifique qui offre une vue imprenable sur la mer et une piscine splendide. Les chambres, d'une propreté irréprochable, sont en tout point conformes aux photos. Mention spéciale pour le cocktail de bienvenue et la bienveillance de la réceptionniste, dont l'accueil chaleureux a été particulièrement apprécié. et la plage principale de Lamai restent parmi les plus belles zones de baignade de Koh Samui. 20 minutes de marche peuvent être pénibles sous la chaleur locale, donc envisagez de louer un scooter (environ 200–250 THB/jour) ou d'utiliser l'application Grab/Bolt pour vous déplacer facilement.attention la plage à proximité de l'hôtel n'est pas accessible à marée basse. Service en restaurant : Un comportement désagreable de la part du personnel gâche rapidement l'expérience..

Personnel exceptionnel à l'accueil et à l'entretien. Le calme, la piscine très agréable et propre, le jardin luxuriant. La réactivité et disponibilité du personnel en cas de besoin, la vue sur mer, le petit balcon, la plge devant la piscine (même si la mer se retire en journée) 2eme séjour en 2 ans.

La clim bruyante, les tarifs appliqués sur le laundry. La vétusté de la grande villa qui a besoin d'une rénovation en profondeur. Literie inconfortable, distributeurs de savon qui ne fonctionnent pas, tuyaux de douche tres ancien plein de calcaire, climatisation tres bruyante (au point de ne pas dormir) mobilier très ancien dénué de tout charme, porte de douche extérieure qui ne ferme pas totalement laissant entrer les nombreux moustiques. Si rien n'est fait à ce niveau là rapidement, les clients se feront plus rares.

La baie est très belle mais pas assez profonde pour se baigner. Les formules petit déjeuner prédéfinis qui créent du gâchis si vous aimez pas tout mais possible d’ajuster.

Mooi zwembad aan het strandje, nette kamers. Fijn een klamboe om het bed.

Ligging, wel ver weg van alles. Heel steil straatje wat lopen in de hitte niet echt aantrekkelijk maakt. Veel taxi’s willen er niet heen of rekenen extra boven op de toch al stevige prijzen.

Le bungalow était un peu vieillot (odeur d’humidité dans les placards, la salle de bain manquait un peu de fraîcheur) Il n’y a pas vraiment de salle de sport, uniquement deux tapis et anciens équipements rouillés

Staff was kind, and the rooms clean. Cleaning was done everyday. Breakfast has good options to choose from however not enough other options.

The reception staff was pushing their own services for laundry and taxi which was overpriced

l'hôtel est sur une corniche donc l'avantage c'est le calme l'inconvénient il faut une voiture ou un scooteur pour bouger. en juillet aout la marée basse est le jour donc pas de mer devant l'hôtel ce n'est pas baignable. Mais avec une voiture Lamai beach n'est pas loin. Pour le personnel une personne sur les deux est aimable l'autre... La piscine est top le petit déj manque de variété mais reste correct. La vue est top sur la baie de lamai.

Les chambres sont assez différentes des photos c'est assez vieillot les draps ou oreillés sont usés ou tachés. les peinture défraichis en gros cela ne vieillit pas très bien. Lors du règlement de l'acompte visiblement il y a eu un problème et il a été refusé quand je les ai contacté le lendemain pour reréserver mes chambres en proposant de tout payer en avance la note à augmenter de 100€ j'ai trouvé cela petit.

Wir hatten ein super schönes, riesiges Zimmer mit gigantischer Aussicht über das Meer. Der Weg zum Pool mit wunderschönen Pflanzen umsäumt. Das Personal war äusserst bemüht und hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Ganz lieben Dank🙏

Das Essen im Restaurant ist super- probiert die Riesengarnelen mit Knoblauch! Die Bar auch schön aber Personal und Drinks nicht ganz so.

This could have been a 5 star review. However, the monstrosity they call air conditioner is not fit for human use. Old quasi-central system, minimal control (blows wind all the time, regardless of compressor status). Rattles and shakes at high speeds, wind speed of a minor storm even at low speed. This will blow directly onto the bed. In the end I had to sleep on the couch and my spouse built a pillow fort on the bed to protect from the wind. Unfortunately, based on this I would not come back. They could easily remedy this issue by installing a basic split system (with the unit *away from the bed*). Note: looks like the bungaloes down the hill might have a split ac, but they have a less attractive view and look a bit spartan.

Dieses Hotel hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen, auch wenn man etwas laufen muss, um Beispielsweise zum 7Eleven zu kommen! Wir wurden direkt sehr herzlich empfangen und durften in der Villa 2 wohnen! Es war sehr wirklich ein Erlebnis in der Außendusche mit Ausblick aufs Meer zu Duschen! Die Badewanne haben wir nicht genutzt! Die Betten könnten etwas bequemer sein, allerdings haben wir gut geschlafen! Da das Hochbett oben keinen Rausfallschutz hatte, haben wir die Couch vor das untere Bett geschoben und unser Sohn hat darauf geschlafen und unsere Tochter unten im Hochbett! Theoretisch haben auch beide Kinder in ein Bett gepasst, da es ziemlich breit war! Man hat eine tolle Terrasse und auch im Inneren sehr viele Verstau und Ablagefläche, was in Thailand sehr selten vorkommt! Die Villa würden wir immer wieder wählen, da die Treppen zu dem oberen Gebäude echt anstrengend sind! Es war der beste Pool, den wir in Thailand bis jetzt hatten, da er auch tief wurde, war es nie wirklich ecklig warmes Wasser, es hat soooo toll abgekühlt, das war fantastisch! Wir hatten viel Glück und wir waren teilweise komplett allein im Pool, als ob es ein Privater wäre! Das Frühstück war klasse, man konnte aus mehreren Gerichten auswählen, die wahnsinnig liebevoll angerichtet und sehr sehr lecker waren! Toast/Brot, Obst, paar Kleinigkeiten und Getränke kann man sich vom Buffett holen! Beim ersten Frühstück hat unsere Tochter nur staunend gesagt: oh er hat ja sogar ein Pancake bekommen, worauf sie direkt gefragt wurde, ob die auch welche möchte, da bei ihrem Frühstück keins dabei war. Jeden Morgen haben sich die Kinder zusätzlich Schokosoße dazu in der offenen Küche abgeholt! Ansonsten sind auch zum Mittag- oder Abendessen alle Gerichte sehr sehr lecker gewesen, besonders die selbstgemachte Soße zu den Pommes war fantastisch, weshalb unser Sohn sich immer noch einen Nachschlag geholt hat! Das Meer ist je nach Wetterlage weg und mal da, aber nicht wirklich zum Schwimmen geeignet!

Die Zimmer könnten besser gereinigt werden, es wurde grob gekehrt, aber in 7 Tagen sollte auch mal richtig durchgewischt werden! Transfer in Thailand wird auch immer teurer, wenn man wo anders hinfahren und nicht viel laufen möchte, muss man Fahrgeld mit einkalkulieren, allerdings hat man absolute Ruhe in diesem tollen Hotel.

Veel te duur voor wat het maar is, restaurant ook prijzig en dan zeker met hun extra taxen Oud brood bij het ontbijt Bij aankomst kregen we een heel stugge, check in at 2 en dan keer je na 2 uur terug en zet de dame daar een toneeltje op dat ze bij elke gast aframmeld, nee; de eerste indruk was al helemaal niet ok en zo was het dan ook voor de hele week, de enigste vriendelijk man was inderdaad de tuinman en de dame van de keuken kon er ook nog door

La persona responsable del bar, en vista de que un camarero se equivocó trayendonos 1 plato de más, dijo que no nos lo cobraba, la cuenta eran 1500B, le dí 2000 y no me trajo la vuelta diciendo que le había dado 1500B, yo no tenía billetes de 500.Una pena porque el resto del personal,muy bien.

La ubicación, la calle para llegar es muy difícil y está en una playa que no llega agua por la marea por lo que no se puede bañar en el mar Para la piscina subir y bajar muchas escaleras no es práctico!

Shower was broken and unit a bit tired. You can only walk to town on the beach if you don’t have transport.

Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable. Emplacement calme, à l'écart des routes et d'autres hôtels. Magnifique vue depuis la chambre, piscine sympa avec bar restaurant à côté. Petit déjeuner correct.

Superbe villa pour 4 avec une vue magnifique et une douche en plein air incroyable! Les petits déjeuner sont tops. Nous avons pu aussi tester le restaurant et tout était excellent. Le personnel est adorable.

The reception staff was very friendly and welcoming. They arranged birthday card and small sweets on arrival which was very thoughtful of them. The kitchen staff was also very helpful and friendly.

The only thing we felt was that reception tries to push to book taxis through them and it is overpriced. There is at least 200-300 on top of the normal price which if you walk little bit to the road you can negotiate with drivers. Also same goes for the laundry service. Where outside shops charge 50 baht per kilo, the reception charges 100. The hotel needs to install fly screens so you can open the windows and balcony door.

The steps to the pool and it was 250b to anywhere in a grab, it's a far way from both central Lamai and Cheweng The bed was concrete hard, when we asked for a mattress topper we got a sunlounge mattress placed on the top of the mattress

+ приветливый персонал: + есть небольшая парковка для автомобилей; + виды с верхних этажей гостиничного корпуса великолепные; + вкусно готовят в ресторане; + небольшой, но комфортный бассейн; + возле бассейна есть прекрасный "живой уголок" местной фауны, очень интересно наблюдать и слушать; + береговая линия интересна для прогулок, особенно когда налево по дикому пляжу пойти - там недалеко огромные красивые валуны, фотографии получаются великолепные.

Следующие минусы это не отелю, а к месторасположению, как таковому: - моря считайте нет, даже когда прилив. Это очень большая отмель, до глубины чтобы искупаться вы пешком не дойдёте; - по дну залива ходить босиком не комфортно, дно покрыто острыми ракушками, надо постоянно следить, куда наступаешь, нужны коралловые тапочки или другая обувь.

The view from the room was amazing! Once we were given the room we booked it was a great room. Clean pool. Many friendly staff and they were always talking great care to the hotel.

Being told we had received an upgraded room, only to be given a much older and worse room because of a tub. Then when wanted the room I booked given a little bit of attitude from the check in lady. The place was empty and they could have given us a much better room if they were going to upgrade us. They told us they were fully booked, but they were empty. The towels need to be replaced. We heard this has happened to many other guests. Not sure why? The beach is not good for swimming.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Die Zimmer sehr geräumig und großzügig. Mit Schränken im Eingangsbereich und Ablage im Bad. Alles sehr sauber durch tägliche Reinigung. Die Minibar ausreichend und jeden Tag zwei Flaschen Wasser gratis. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Eine Mitarbeiterin am Service kam sogar eher zu Ihrer Arbeit um uns noch zu verabschieden. Erstklassig die Poolbar mit leckeren Cocktails und angenehmer Hintergrundmusik.

Das einzigste was wir schade fanden war die Lage am Strand. Schwimmen im Meer war praktisch nicht wirklich möglich da es gefühlt Dauer Ebbe gab.

Location was a little out of town. Not much beach but did have a lovely pool area right on the beach

breakfast was ok , bit of a walk up and down stairs steep for about 80 yards , lovely spot apart from beach , no go zone , shallow and rocks , short walk to awesome beach , room was massive , massive bed awesome sea veiw , very good value ...

The hotel had beautiful views of the beach, and was very tranquil. The staff were friendly. The pool and cafe area was relaxing to hang out by. Our room was a decent size.

The bed was very uncomfortable, I could feel springs sticking into my back. The sheets were dirty despite being changed every day - they were stained, had strange brown marks on them, and the linen and towels were old/ripped. It made for a really uncomfortable sleep. The mosquito net also didn't actually cover the bed fully. The furniture had stains and generally felt unclean. The bathroom was not great, the showerhead was a little broken, you couldn't shower without getting water all over the bathroom, and the sink felt like it was about to fall off the wall. We had power outages every day we stayed there, which I understand isn't the fault of the hotel, however better communication regarding this would have been an improvement.

Внимательный, заботливый персонал, удобная кровать, все номера в гостинице с видом на океан. Есть ещё и бунгало, но я жила в отеле, поэтому про бунгало ничего не могу сказать. Вкусные завтраки. Вообще кухня очень приличная, готовят вкусно, меню разнообразное (можно смело обедать и ужинать)

Great quiet place tucked away close between lamai and chaweng areas, beautiful mountain road nearby that takes you north to bo phut area. Friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant and bar, the laundry service isnt cheap but it is very nice, I absolutely love the smell of my clothes after having them washed! I had my own unique issue of the outside patio getting dirty over night from winds and I believe a gecko or sum big lizzard pooping but all I had to do was message the staff and 3 cleaning ladies would come and make sure it was spotless. I think the price is normal for what is provided and comparable to what you would find elsewhere for a quiet place. Interestingly enough the Renaissance is just a little ways down the beach from here, felt like you "essentially" got that same experience for a fraction of the price. Room is very spacious and outdoor area was very nice and spacious as well. Indoor and outdoor shower and bathtub, no view from the outdoor shower to be noted but that was fine, still some nice plants around the base. All in all great thanks!

The location is amazing. Definitely have to use bolt or taxi service to get around if you dont hire a car or bike yourself. Its just outside of the main part of Lamai so you get the peace and quiet and no sounds of hustle and bustle but you are only a 5 min drive away from absolutely everything.

Le bruit de la climatisation était très fort, ce qui m’a empêché de passer une seule bonne nuit durant le séjour. Nous avons également eu un tuyau de douche qui fuyait, ce qui nous donnait très peu de pression pour nous laver, même si cela a été réparé rapidement.

The staff at Cinnamon are excellent. Extremely friendly and helpful with all of my requests/questions. The location is far enough away from Lamai so it's very quiet, but only a 30 minute walk on the beach to get to Lamai and their restaurants and shops. Cinnamon has a really good kitchen and chef and staff with great and varied menu of western and classic Thai dishes. The pool is beautiful as was my room, a suite on the top level with phenomenal views and very quiet and private.

I liked everything, no complaints at all.

Bardzo mila obsługa i pomoc 24/24. Przestronne pokoje, dostęp do wody pitnej, cisza i niewiele ludzi na basenie i w częściach wspólnych. Wspaniale kotki. :)

Wszystko bylo naprawdę super.

An sich ein schöner Urlaub in der Villa 1 und sehr nettes Personal. Jedenfalls wird sauber gemacht und das ist auch leckeres hotel üblichen Preisen. Schöner Pool mit Ruhe. Leider ist das Meer immer zum falschen Zeitpunkt weg (Ebbe) ca. 7min Roller zum Lamai beach ändert sich alles wieder. Wasser ist da einer der wenigen stände wo somit wie keine Steine drinnen sind. Was echt zu empfehlen ist ist die Zufahrt zum hotel mal zu erneuern ist schon fast gefährlich sonst gerne alles wieder

L'endroit idillique, la piscine et le personnel acceuillant avec 3 enfants. La douche est absolument incroyable. On a beaucoup aimé ce coté proche de la nature.

Das Personal war echt nett, das Haus war top in Schuss und gemütlich.

Der Strand ist klein und das Wasser flach, daher ist eine Schwimmstrecke von mindestens 100 Metern erforderlich. Dies entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen, weshalb wir uns entschieden haben, täglich andere Strände aufzusuchen.

we had a huge room with a beautiful view over the sea and Lamai coastline. Spotlessly clean with very functional ac, big bathroom with bath and shower, lots of storage space and a huge comfy bed. The pool area was right over the beach with nice chillout music and great cocktails. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Tængmo (watermelon :) at reception). Rented scooter from them at a very reasonable price. Location was great for us, quiet yet just a short scooter ride from all we needed. Breakfast by the pool was varied enough for us. We really liked this place!

It was fine for me but some people might want to know that you need to get a taxi or scooter to get anywhere else. Gorgeous view but the water in the sea is very shallow so not great for sea swimming

Das Hotel hat eine top Lage, es ist am Hang in die Natur eingebettet. Man hat einen tollen Blick auf die Bucht von Lamai. Das Personal war super freundlich und sehr Hilfsbereit. Leider konnten wir das Hotel nur eine Nacht nutzen, das sich meine Frau in der Woche vorher in Bangkok das Knie verdreht hat und deshalb die vielen Stufen nicht zu bewältigen waren. Wir hätten es sehr gerne voll ausgenutzt. Die Hotelleitung kam uns trotz der Stornierungsregeln entgegen und hat uns einen Teil erstattet, so das eine andere Hotelbuchung nicht ganz so schmerzhaft war.

Es ist jetzt kein Mangel, aber man sollte wirklich darauf achten das das Hotel Hanglage hat, was aber keine Beeinträchtigung hat wenn man körperlich unversehrt ist.

A személyzet nagyon kedves volt, a tengerre néző szoba elég nagy méretű, nagy fürdőszobával. Lamai night market 10 perc motorral. Reggeli kis svédasztal + étlapról rendelhető különböző reggeli variációk.

A szállás egy szép partszakaszon található, de márciusban amikor ott voltunk a vízállás nagyon alacsony volt, így fürödni nem lehetett. hiába vízparti a szállás, csak a medencében lehetett fürödni.

Poolen var dejlig og haven smuk. Værelserne ok, men aircon af svingende kvalitet. De sødeste ansatte. Både housekeeping, receptionen, restauranten og i baren 🫶🏼

Stranden er noget “plumret”, børnevenlig, men ikke lækker som mange andre steder på øen.

Ventilasjonen var dårlig ,resepsjonen er ikke helt å stole på,ulovlig arbeidskraft fra Burma.bare en nøkkel slik at det ikke skal oppstå brann ved at den står i på dagtid ??? Hva med natten når man sover? Nattportier fra Burma som ikke kan thai eller engelsk ,badebasseng er uten fuger og muligheten for å kutte seg opp er tilstede

Un peu excentré mais tant mieux vu l’agitation de la zone touristique. Lagon très plat devant l hôtel donc pas possible de nager vraiment

The view, the beach, the staff

Very steep grade and me having issues with back and bad knee. Accessibility should have been mentioned in their ad. Younger crowd seemed yo have no problem with the steep slopes

Loved the location for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Unfortunately, sometimes I felt that the staff were not extremely. I was sitting in the restaurant for 20 minutes, and no one came to serve me. I also found that when the staff made a mistake on my room service order, they rudely said that I made the mistake, although I absolutely did not. They also have cats in the hotel, but you will be shouted at because they might 'bite' you. I was nowhere near the cats and I was just trying to make noises to distract them from fighting. I felt belittled and let down with how that staff member spoke with me. Also, the laundry takes 36 hours. Not 24 hours.

Beautiful, well equipped bedroom with teak wood floors and furniture. Big balcony with amazing view. Lovely pool.

Fantastisk beliggenhed tæt ved stranden, og med den skønneste udsigt. Virkelig god morgenmad. Kan varmt anbefales at købe med fra start til hele opholdet. Fredeligt område med kun 10-15 minutters kørsel til byen.

Der var ikke så mange solsenge i forhold til antallet af gæster.

Скорее особенность, очень крутой спуск к отелю с основной дороги. Если вы без опыта на байке, лучше потренероваться где то еще, проверить тормоза. Ресторан мнк не зашел, не вкусно. Но локация позволяем кушать что хочешь и где хочешь

Mooie locatie vlak aan het strand. Fijn zwembad, lekker eten. Uitstekende ontvangst door Tangmo!

Niet dicht bij winkels of restaurants.

La vue sur la mer est incroyable, le calme et la gentillesse du personnel.

Stor villa direkt på stranden. Fin pool. Jättebra frukost.

Svårt att bada i havet för det var för grunt.

Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Lunch and dinner meals were very good.
