Taatoh Seaview Resort - SHA Plus

Tolle Lage ! Wunderschöne Umgebung und sehr gepflegt! Abends ist es sehr ruhig, man hört nur Tiere aus der Umgebung. Das Personal hat die Anlage ständig gepflegt und täglich Wasser, Kaffee, Tee gebracht oder auf die Terasse abgestellt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super und der Ausblick vom Restaurant wunderschön! Überall sind süße Katzen !

Das wir abreisen mussten

Das Personal ist freundlich und die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer ist sehr schön.

Das Zimmer war leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen und Einrichtung und Deko wirkten etwas zusammengewürfelt. Uns fehlte dadurch leider die Gemütlichkeit. Das Bett knarzte bei jedem umdrehen so laut, als würde es gleich zusammenbrechen. Die Türe ließ sich nur sehr schwer schließen und musste dann von außen mit einem Vorhängeschloss verschlossen werden. Zusätzliche hatten wir leider eine große Kakerlake im Zimmer. Für den Preis der Unterkunft insgesamt leider alles ziemlich enttäuschend.

Resort v kopcovitém terénu. Personál milý, ochotný. V areálu kočičky - lze jim zakoupit na recepci mlsky. Restaurace s krásným výhledem. Písečná pláž je malá, lze pak ležet ještě na kamenech. Šnorchlování krásné ráno, odpoledne již špatná viditelnost. Je možné pozorovat karety, žraločky, ryby.

La camera aveva una vista spettacolare davvero tanto tanto bella. In camera c’è aria condizionata e ventilatore un grande bagno in pietra è un frigo. Molto belle le tante vetrate che ti permettono di svegliarti con un alba meravigliosa . Cambio asciugamani ogni due giorni su richiesta. Da tenere in conto che per andare a fare colazione/andare in reception ci sono tante scale da fare

il ristorante chiudeva alle 8 di sera, la plastica che purtroppo viene lasciata tra le piante e sugli scogli. Sarebbe utile mettere qualcosa per coprire la terrazza dall’accesso in spiaggia per privacy ( la gente guardava dentro).

Forse qualche spazio comune dovrebbe essere rivisto così come la scala che porta al mare

Koh tao è molto bella (non perdetevi i tour snorkeling!!) ed avere una struttura vista mare merita. La posizione su shark bay è invidiabile, ma la vista del mare non è la stessa da tutte le stanze perché alcune sono molto più vicine di altre. Ci sono gradini ripidi per arrivare alla spiaggia, ma ci vogliono veramente 3 minuti solo che non ci sono lettini dell’hotel e la spiaggetta è davvero molto piccola. Noi avevamo la camera familiare, ampia con due stanze, ma arredamento un po’ datato e arrangiato. Pulizia discreta (le tende necessiterebbero di essere lavate e purtroppo una sera dallo scarico è salita una blatta, non dipende dalla pulizia ma credo dal sistema fognario, quindi tenete chiusi gli scarichi del bagno!). Ci sono molti gatti, carini per carità, ma la reception nè mantiene l’odore e poi si trovano dappertutto e se si è allergici (come me) può essere un pensiero. Colazione discreta sia dolce che salata, niente di entusiasmante. È un po’ distante dai ristoranti ma noi con 10 minuti a piedi arrivavamo tranquillamente (certo non c’è marciapiede ma i mezzi sono abituati quindi basta stare un po’ attenti). Per arrivare a Sairee beach servono circa 400 bath. Per il transfer da e per il porto, a noi ci ha portato gratuitamente la navetta dell’hotel.

Habitación grande con vistas a Shark Bay y acceso a través de escaleras. ¡Nos encantó! El restaurante del hotel también con cocina tailandesa muy muy rica. Adicionalmente, se podía ir andando a zona de restaurantes y al mirador John-Suwan. En el hotel nos dieron muchas facilidades para todo. ¡Recomendable absolutamente!

L’unica cosa positiva era la vista dalla camera ma comunque non compensa tutti i disservizi.

La camera aveva le formiche nel letto, era datata, piena di zanzare intorno. La colazione terribile, e nonostante avessimo pagato il servizio colazione, il caffè dovevamo pagarlo a parte, per me follia. L’accesso spiaggia è minuscolo, non ci si riesce manco a sdraiare con il telo.

La struttura è composta da deliziosi bungalow indipendenti su una delle baie più belle di Koh Tao. Lo staff era sempre presente e di supporto per le richieste sul soggiorno. Presente un ottimo ristorante, servizio di lavanderia, transfer per le varie mete dell’isola e anche per noleggio motorini

Purtroppo la spiaggia sotto la struttura non è dedicata al resort. Peccato!

El servicio de la moto de alquiler con el hotel. Durante el tercer día nos salió un chivato de aceite y lo comentamos, de malas maneras nos dieron otras llaves para otra moto sin decirnos ni cuál era, y a los dos minutos nos quitaron esas llaves por qué era una moto de mayor cilindrada. Al final desquiciados y cansados de perder el tiempo alquilamos la moto con otra empresa. El tema de la limpieza de habitaciones tampoco nos gustó mucho, tenías que darle las llaves a la mañana y el servicio de limpieza empezaba de 14:00-16:00, nos decían que esperásemos en la playa, había tan mala organización que nos decía que no estaba hecha y luego íbamos a comprobarlo y estaba hecha, no entendíamos nada.

Offrono un servizio navetta dal porto all’hotel. La colazione era abbondante, nonostante non ci fossero molte opzioni vegane. Lo staff dell’hotel è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Vista molto bella dalla camera.

Mooi uitzicht vanuit de kamer en het balkon. Sfeervol ingerichte kamers.

De vele trappen en de baai met heel veel dood koraal, dit maakte een trieste indruk. Bij andere baaien op het eiland is snorkelen veel mooier qua vissen en koraal.

Bad könnte etwas schöner sein- insgesamt ist die Anlage etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Trotzdem sehr charmant

Las vistas desde la habitación eran espectaculares. El sol entra directo a la habitación al amanecer. La cercanía a Shark Bay, un muy buen punto. Las mejores horas para aprovechar de los animales marinos en Shark Bay y estar solo es bien pronto por la mañana, antes de las 9h. Después vienen barcos con turistas y está lleno de gente y no se disfruta. El baño muy amplio. Posibilidad de alquilar por días la GoPro. Hay diferentes modelos partiendo de los 200 baths x día hasta los 600 baths. Yo cogí la de 500, todo genial, te enseñan a utilizarla ahí mismo y si tienes un problema hay un chip que te ayuda. Hacen descuento de 100 baths por cada día cogido (mínimo 2). El restaurante tiene menú para comer que está muy bien de precio, muy bueno y hay mucha opción. Para lavandería, también tienen opcion 80 baths por kilo, en los alrededores hay también opciones más baratas, aun así es cómodo tenerlo directamente en el hotel.

La habitación es más pequeña de lo que parece, aún así están muy bien. A quien no le guste la naturaleza no se lo recomendaría, por la noche se oyen ruidos de Geckos y otros animales. (Para mí no es punto negativo) El restaurante tiene precios de desayuno bastante elevados de buffet, 300 baths por persona y día. (No hay que comparar con precio Europeo, si no Tai, porque hay en alrededores opciones más baratas). Para la lavandería estaría bien que pesasen las bolsas delante de ti, ya que siempre nos ponían números redondos, cosa rara porque hemos estado en otros 3 hoteles y en todos te lo pesan delante, obviamente nunca son números redondos.

L'albergo, e soprattutto la nostra stanza, aveva una vista meravigliosa che dava su una baia e una piccola spiaggia e su un mare scoglioso nel quale potevi vedere - se fortunato - tartarughe e pesci colorati. la stanza aveva una chaise long nella quale rilassarsi e vedere il mare.

Un aspetto che mi ha lasciata piuttosto delusa riguarda la scarsa cura lla scalinata interna all'hotel e di quelli immediatamente adiacenti alla struttura. Accanto alla mia stanza c’era una piattaforma in cemento con un tavolo di legno e alcune sedie, ma l'intercapedine del tavolo era disseminato di decine di mozziconi di sigaretta, che sembravano non essere stati rimossi da molto tempo. Anche la scalinata utilizzata dagli ospiti dell’albergo per raggiungere la spiaggia era spesso sporca, con lattine e altri rifiuti abbandonati. Credo che una struttura ricettiva debba avere cura non soltanto degli spazi strettamente di sua proprietà, ma anche di quelli che i propri ospiti attraversano e utilizzano quotidianamente. Anche quando non sono di uso esclusivo dell’hotel, fanno parte a tutti gli effetti dell’esperienza offerta agli ospiti e, in fondo, sono proprio questi luoghi e il territorio circostante a rappresentare una delle principali ragioni per cui le persone scelgono di soggiornarvi.

Amazing location treetop rooms with a spectacular view! Staff were so helpful and lovely breakfast was lovely and staff sorted taxis for us and free snorkelling stuff to enjoy sharks bay! We had 2 rooms with air conditioning all lovely and clean - enjoy!

Nothing but lots of steps so if you struggle with steps just be aware but the steps are worth it for the view!

MAGISK utsikt fra bungalowene. Hotellet ligger i en nydelig bukt, der en både kan ligge på stranden eller snorkle i korallrevet. Vi så nydelige fisker, skilpadder og små babyhaier. Fredlig og trygt område. Hyggelig personale. Tar 3-5 min med bil eller scooter for nærmeste 7-eleven og finnes flere nydelige viewpoints 5 min gange fra hotellet.

Trappen ned til bukten er ganske bratt, kan være vanskelig for eldre mennesker, men var generelt ingenproblem for oss. Korallene er ganske skarpe, anbefaler badesko.

The room down the hill was a little walk down the stairs but the view was incredible. The bed was comfortable and the room a great size. Value for money 100% and very close to Shark Beach and amazing for snorkelling

Bungalow inadapté pour les enfants en bas âge, manque de rangement, localisation très très calme donc nécessité de marche minimum 20’ pour un premier restaurant, déco désuète, douche très basique, la plage est très petite et bondée, le petit déjeuner est rudimentaire

The room itself was very good with good facilities, air con, dehumidifier and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Good path down to the beach with nice private feeling, although many stairs so prepare for a workout!

The staff were not very friendly to us, when we rented snorkels they seemed very distrusting and took many photos. This made us feel very uneasy throughout our stay for fear of being charged for 'damage'. Whilst there were no issues when we returned the snorkels, this initial feeling did not make our stay very comfortable. Equally when we arrived for breakfast the staff were very unfriendly with seating us and were unhelpful. I do not think this hotel is worth what we paid for it.

Sehr mager. Kleines zimmer, toilette offen ist nicht sehr apetitlich und mit mücken kann man nicht in ruhe das Geschäft erledigen, desweiteren ist der Duschkopf für leute über 1,75 zu niedrig. Man duscht neben der toilette. Es ist nicht getrennt.

La seule chose chouette c'était la vue, et les masques qu'on nous a prêté pour plonger.

La chambre était vraiment horrible, vraiment pas propre, on a eu la chambre S3, c'était la pire chambre d'hôtel que j'ai vu. La salle de bain était pas propre et semi ouverte donc des insectes et un énorme lézard. L'évaluation d'eau de lavabo sort juste a coté de la terrasse donc des mauvaises d'odeur jusqu'à dans la chambre. Le sol de la chambre c'est juste des lames de terrasse donc les odeurs et insectes passe entre les lames. La moustiquaire était plein de poussière et avait plein de tâches dessus (ce qui a fait levé son allergie). Le personnel était brutes. A l'arrivée il nous limite agressé pour nous dire qu'il faut laisser une caution pour la clé de la chambre. (J'ai l'impression que es eu la pire chambre de l'établissement)

Le côté Robinson/confort, la vue sur shark bay et sa petite plage en contrebas, la navette gratuite aller retour de/vers le port, la salle de bain ouverte, le petit-déjeuner buffet varié et délicieux. L'accès à freedom beach en 5mn à pied tout comme pour le point de vue du sud de l'île, la terrasse .

La vue de la chambre et la baie où faire du snorkeling au lever du soleil jusqu'au coucher. Notre chambre était un petit chalet en bois isolé avec sa terrasse privative un vrai petit cocon. Le personnel est particulièrement serviable et gentil.

Le matelas de la chambre était particulièrement ferme, l'accès à la plage n'est pas à la portée de tout le monde.

Het prachtige uitzicht, het restaurant met heerlijk eten en de vriendelijke receptionist(e).

Het appartement is zwaar verouderd, met overal kieren waar ongedierte doorkruipt. Het terrasmeubilair was gammel en daarnaast was de douche wel heel erg matig. Een zeer zwak douchestraaltje en viezig, met heel veel aanslag. Kortom, het gehele complex zou opgeknapt moeten worden, dan zou het wellicht de prijs waard zijn, nu niet.... Ps. de katten met de bijbehorende geur, die door het restaurant lopen, vinden wij niet erg hygiënisch.

Fantastisk sted, perfekt beliggenhed. Personalet var venlige og imødekommende. Restauranten laver virkeligt god mad👌👌

Bagno assolutamente inadeguato: ad ogni doccia si allaga e non ci sono ganci o mensole dove poggiare le cose ; al mattino impossibile dormire perché alle 5 iniziano i rumori (specie un gallo sotto la stanza che canta in continuazione)

L'hôtel est superbement située avec une vue imprenable sur Shark Bay. Nous avions 2 bungalows avec vue sur mer, dont l'un avec une douche extérieure ce qui était très agréable. En revanche, il ne faut pas être en trop mauvaise conditions physiques car il y a beaucoup de marches entre les bungalows et la réception ainsi que pour descendre à la plage. Les bungalows étaient tout de même confortable et le personnel très réactif quand nous avons eu un problème de climatisation. Le restaurant est bien pratique si l'on ne veut pas repartir de l'hôtel le soir.

Pendant notre séjour, les marches menant à la plage étaient cassées, ce qui rendait l'accès à la mer difficile. Elles ont été réparés le jour de notre départ, cela doit être mieux maintenant. Certains bungalows paraissent en moins bon état que d'autres, peut être qu'avec un peu plus d'entretien ils seraient au top.

Super Lage direkt am Shark Bay mit direktem Zugang zum Wasser. Wir hatten Meerblick und ein geräumiges Bungalow mit allem was man benötigt. Das Zimmer war genau wie auf den Bildern.

L emplacement se paie via beaucoup d escaliers très raides dont a déconseiller aux personnes âgés ou enfants en bas âge. Déçue par l accès plage (petite et prévoir chaussons). Mais cela reste des détails le site est superbe 🤩

Location is just perfect. Staff was really nice and food was great too.

Personally, it wasn't a problem for me, but the rooms were situated on a steep hill with a lot of stairs. I could see it being a problem for the elderly or anyone with mobility issues.

À notre arrivée, on était perplexe. L’extérieur de l’hôtel ne paie pas de mine. Puis, on s’installe dans notre chambre. Et le charme opère. Il ne faut pas s’attendre au confort et au luxe mais l’espace est propre et atypique. On y a passé 6 jours agréables

Lo único que la ducha estaba mal ubicada y era incomodo para darse la ducha y se llevaba el baño de agua y no había una barredora para achicar el agua

read the reviews about the stairs being very steep but thought not much about it but theyre actually VERY steep if you have to get to the top youll think twice about it also no soap to wash your hands

Where to begin… the doors to the rooms didn’t close properly which let loads of mosquitos in, the rooms had a very bad smell, the bathroom smelt of sewage and the water smelt very funny, the bathroom was full of limescale and didn’t look like it had ever been cleaned, the linens on the beds were scratchy and uncomfortable, we had cockroaches in our room, the people who run and live on the property were extremely loud - we were kept up in the night by loud music and the scraping of tables etc from the restaurant above us, and woken up early again by music, talking and scraping of tables above us, I was accused of not paying for laundry and demanded to pay again for laundry I had paid for, I paid for a two way taxi trip and they assured me they would pick me up once I contacted them but I had to ring them around 5 times over half an hour to get through to them, you are far away from everything here so prepare to walk 10-20 mins up and down hills, rent a scooter or rely on their inconsistent taxi service.

La publicité mensongère, il y a de superbes photos sur le site et on se retrouve avec un bungalow insalubre pour un prix exorbitant !

Unser Bongalow hatte wunderschönen Meerblick. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Es liegt an der Wetterseite der Insel und das Meer war so stürmisch, dass wir nicht rein konnten. Wir hatten es probiert, aber es war zu gefährlich und wir wurden auch verletzt. Der Einstieg ins Meer geht über Treppen und sehr scharfe Felsen. Absolut nicht für Kinder geeignet. Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist sollte dieses Hotel nicht buchen. Man muss über steile Treppen zum Bungalow gehen und das kann sehr anstrengend sein. Das Frühstück war, naja sagen wir es ging so. Kaffee war allerdings nicht zu trinken.

We stayed at this beautiful resort for 4 days recently and wish we had stayed longer. Our room was the Happy love Seaview 1 family room and it was perfect for us with stunning views over the bay. Everyone that we encountered on the resort from reception and restaurant staff were all smiling and happy to help in any way possible and the food was so good. Ask at reception about the snorkeling trips they advise as this is a great day out, we swam with sharks,turtles and lots of other marine life on the day, this is a great waytosee lots of the island. This is also a great location for snorkeling in Shark bay and walking to the lookout point for sunrise. Can't wait to return 👌

Maybe a bit awkward if your less mobile with the steps but it is a great location.

The view was absolutely amazing and it was so special being able to wake up directly next to the ocean . Amazing bay to snorkel and it was close to walk to really amazing restaurants .

We didn’t mind them as it provided exercise but if you are not able to walk up lots of stairs then this might not be the property for you .

Frokosten var god. Veldig bra utsikt. Mest for de som liker thai frokost, litt dårlig utvalg av brød, samt at jeg savnet fresk jus.

Hyttene er gamle og vanskelig å holde skikkelig rene. Veldig bratt med mange trapper og høydemeter. Vanskelig tilgang til sjøen.

Great cliff-side rooms overlooking Shark Bay. Staff helpful and friendly. Good size comfy beds with AC. Steepish stairs down to private beach which is small with bar and access to bay. Is not the main sandy beach on shark Bay though, is a small cove. Hotel provides free snorkel and mask for stay. Saw many fish and a large turtle in the bay. Though visibility of water can vary greatly day to day.

Restaurant is ok, not the best we had. For that would recommend Ananas about 5min walk down the road. Also freedom beach on opposite side of the spit is great, a wide sandy beach with tree shade and loungers and a decent bar/restaurant. And a huge variety of fish to see out on the reef. L Less than 5min walk.

Loved the view and the location.

The rooms had white light, which killed the ambience completely, and the bathroom really requires a repair. There was only one hand shower in the bathroom, and the pressure of water was extremely low. It becomes quite difficult to wash up after a good beach swim.

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft mit top Lage. Der Check-in war unkompliziert und die Gastgeber super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt – klare Empfehlung!

The rooms (booked family bungalow) and the view were stunning! There were stairs from our bungalow straight to Shark Bay for snorkeling. Had our own private outside area. The hotel can help get anything you need, from snorkeling equipment for free, to scooters, manicure, go pro rental, etc.

The restaurant was not great, but there are many other options to dine in the area.

Wir waren von der Unterkunft extrem enttäuscht. Wir hatten das Happy Love 1. Die Türe konnte nicht dicht verschlossen werden. Die Fliesen am Boden waren kaputt. Das Bad war schmutzig. Die Treppe in den oberen Stock war sehr steil und gefährlich. Unser Kind ist einmal heruntergefallen. Ein Zimmerwechsel wurde verweigert. In der Unterkunft wird eine Rollervermietung angepriesen. Es stellte sich heraus, dass es sich um ein Partnerunternehmen handelt. Sie würden eine Vermietung nur gegen Deposit des Ausweises machen. Achtung: bitte niemals den Ausweis abgeben. Das Frühstück war dürftig und für thailändische Verhältnisse unterirdisch. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt vorzeitig abgebrochen

Sehr netter Empfang bei der Ankunft. Die Mitarbeiterin gibt sich sehr viel Mühe.

Das Badezimmer wird nach jeder Dusche komplett geflutet da es keinen Abfluss gibt. Zudem ist die Wasserpumpe direkt neben dem Bett, welche die ganze Nacht läuft. Auch die Matratze war leider unbequem. Das Personal im Restaurant ist eher unmotiviert. So war leider auch das Frühstück sehr knapp. Für den Preis gibt es leider viel besseres.

La chambre junior family était juste..affreuse

Petit hôtel authentique un peu vétuste mais avec un personnel très arrangeant, à proximité d'une belle plage. La chambre est propre, le cadre est reposant, les lits confortables.

On est un peu loin des standards européens. La porte de notre bungalow fermait mal. La marche d'entrée très haute, la vétusté du bungalow, l'accès à la plage à améliorer.

Very nice view, it means you have to clime a lot to the restaurant.

The beach front bedroom better supply a mosquito net to sleep. Otherwise we can’t wake up with sunrise.

The staff were wonderful, beautiful view, convenient to good snorkeling areas. Great breakfast buffet!

Tolle Aussicht. Lokal und Essen lecker. Besitzer und Personal sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Kostenlose Pickup von der Fähre. Service gut. Schnorcheln in der Bucht ganz toll.

Nous avons passé une semaine face à shark bay... Le bruit des vagues, le lever de soleil, le bungalow,le petit déjeuner... On a tout aimé !! Avoir de bonnes jambes car Oui, il y a beaucoup de marches!! Tout le personnel a été tellement gentil !! Des vacances de rêve !!

The manager was really nice and helpful, offered us a refund for 2 nights because we only stayed 1 night.

The facility needs an upgrade , the stairs to the beach are broken so you have to climb down, overall seems a bit neglected.

Stunning views of shark bay

I felt the price was a bit high for what was offered. The photos seem to be outdated and didn’t fully reflect the current condition. I would also not recommend this place for anyone who has difficulty with stairs, as they are unavoidable and could be challenging. Additionally, there is currently no direct access to the beach, as the stairs leading down to the bay were damaged and had not been repaired during our stay. Beach access is possible through a neighboring bar, but it is not direct.

Le personnel est au petit soin. Ambiance chaleureuse et familiale. Les plats du restaurants sont délicieux que se soit du petit déjeuner au dîner. Très bonne emplacement avec des Bungalows donnant vue sur la mer. L'île a été un de nos coups de cœur et c'est sûr nous reviendrons dans cet hôtel.

Wir haben für dieses Hotel auf Koh Tao ca. 100 € für das Familienzimmer pro Nacht bezahlt und waren leider sehr enttäuscht. Schon bei der Ankunft entsprach das “Resort” nicht den Bildern auf Booking. Auf den Fotos wirkt alles deutlich heller, moderner und gepflegter. In Wirklichkeit sind die Zimmer stark renovierungsbedürftig, wirken alt, schimmelig im Bad und muffig. Man konnte sich überhaupt nicht wohl fühlen. Das größte Problem war jedoch die Sauberkeit des Bettes. Sowohl die Bettlaken als auch die Kissen hatten mehrere sichtbare Flecken (kleine und große). Wir haben das sofort gemeldet, und das Hotel hat das Bett neu bezogen und das Zimmer gereinigt. Leider war auch das neu bezogene Bett wieder mit Flecken versehen. Alle anderen Unterkünfte, die wir in Thailand gebucht haben waren günstiger oder preislich ähnlich bei einem enorm höheren Standard. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist aus unserer Sicht sehr schlecht. Diese grundlegenden Standards wurden hier leider nicht erfüllt. Aufgrund unserer Erfahrung können wir das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen. Die positive Gesamt Bewertung des Hotels liegt beim Durchschauen scheinbar eher daran, dass externe Gäste den reinen Restaurant Besuch positiv bewerten. Ansonsten findet sich hier oft das gleiche Feedback wie unseres. Leiter haben wir nur die Gesamtbewertung betrachtet und nicht genauer hingeschaut.
