Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Casetta immersa nel bosco con vetrata a cielo aperto sopra il letto matrimoniale, di recente costruzione e dotata di tutto il necessario anche per cucinare. Arredo e designe moderni ma che mantengono materiali tradizionali come il legno immancabile in queste zone. Vedere passare davanti al letto le Renne è assolutamente fantastico, peccato non essere stati fortunati con il meteo per un eventuale aurora ma se si soggiorna più giorni nel periodo migliore per vederle deve essere un esperienza eccezionale, il vetro superiore è anche riscaldabile per 40 minuti in caso di condensa o ghiaccio. Sauna molto bella e nel periodo estivo all'esterno c'è anche la vasca.
Purtroppo in questa zona a pochi km dalla casetta non ci sono molti punti di interesse o trekking di rilievo ma comunque con 15 / 25 km si trovano.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Villa Honka is a beautiful, cosy and exceptionally well-equipped log cabin. With 130 m², it was very comfortable and spacious for our family of four. We particularly loved its wonderfully peaceful location beside the lake, the private shoreline and being able to use the rowing boat, which made our final afternoon truly special. The cabin had everything we needed, the self check-in was very easy, and communication with the hosts was warm and helpful throughout our stay.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2026Cottage molto carino in mezzo alla natura e praticamente sul lago. Bella vista dall'appartamentino sia con lago ghiacciato sia suppongo anche nelle altre stagioni. Bella la sauna e l'illuminazione interna che rendeva tutto molto accogliente e confortevole. Struttura sicuramente ben dotata di servizi che vi faranno godere anche la permanenza a casa. Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Offrono anche attività come motoslitte ecc. L'aurora è possibile vederla dalla struttura perchè si è isolati dalla città!
Per andare in bagno/sauna (sono nella stessa stanza) bisogna uscire ma sono davvero 2 passi e alla fine dopo la prima volta ci si abitua ed è anche piacevole. Migliorerei la fase del check-in segnalando meglio la posizione del cottage / lasciando l'illuminazione accesa perchè il prima nostro giorno era notte e faceva freddo ed è stato difficile trovarlo con il buio pesto.
Posizione: dipende... molte attività iniziavano a Rovaniemi o a sud quindi cera sempre quei 50 min di strada peró bello per la pace.

Reviewed Mar 18, 2026Our stay in this villa has been wonderful. It is perfectly equipped with everything you need (kitchen tools, sauna, washing machine, ….) and beautifully decorated. It was also spotless clean. We especially loved that it was so spacious and that one feels really remote (there is even your own private forest and access to the lake). So all in all just a perfect place to spend a few days amd enjoy Lapland nature.

Alles gut. Man wird darauf hingewiesen das der nächste Supermarkt Recht weit weg ist, das muss man einplanen.
Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielką. Bardzo pomocna i widać,że jej zależy na dobrej obsłudze swoich gości. W budynku Pirtti sauna. Jest to starszy, tradycyjny budynek. Kuchnia wyposażona. Kominek. Niedaleko zagroda reniferów i to było super. Cisza i spokój.
Bardzo daleko od miasta i tego nie uwzględniłem rezerwując to miejsce. Dojazd w jedną stronę 1 godzina. W tej cenie naszym zdaniem jaccuzi na zewnątrz powinno być w cenie i to z pewnością wpłynie na podniesienie wartości tego miejsca. Obiekt to kompleks kilku budynków. Dookoła sprzęt rolniczy. Wygląda jak duże gospodarstwo agroturystyczne.

Reviewed Feb 24, 2026We loved everything about our stay! The aurora cabin was perfect, with a huge outdoor spa bath to enjoy the skies, and a hot sauna inside to escape the cold! The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed with a cooktop oven and small fridge. The cabin itself had plenty of space, and a beautiful outlook into the surrounding trees making you feel truly isolated. Emma was extremely helpful in answering all our questions and making our first trip to Lapland truly special. Kiitos! We can't wait to return again!

Die Ausstattung im Haus schreit nach Erneuerung. Der Herd und einige Küchengeräte haben gar nicht oder schwerlich funktioniert. Das Bad im OG hat sehr gerochen. Die bereitgestellten Handtücher waren viel zu wenig. Jeder hat nur ein großes bekommen. Man hat allerdings in der Sauna ein gebraucht..zum Haare waschen, duschen…dafür ist nur eins definitiv zu wenig gewesen.

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026Meine Frau und ich haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen! Es war zwar gewöhnungsbedürftig anfangs, doch im Endeffekt wird dies ein lebenslang im Gedächtnis bleiben.
Wunderschöne Aussicht, gemütliches Ambiente und Nordlichter direkt aus dem Schlafzimmer ersichtlich.
Die Toilette befindet sich im Nebeneingang, nachts auf die Toilette gehen hat für meine Frau bedeutet „wärmer“ anziehen, hat sich aber schnell daran gewöhnt.
Keine Lampe im Badezimmer (Spiegel) nur die Saunalichter.
Etwas kleineres Bett für uns zwei gewesen (wir sind etwas wohlgenährt :)

Reindeers right next door and a lake perfect for watching the northern lights. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. We had an amazing time here — a place you definitely want to come back to!

Reviewed Jan 22, 2026I organised a weekend trip here for my boyfriend and I, as a surprise for him for his 30th birthday. I honestly think it was one of the best weekends and holidays I have ever had. We had the most incredible time, we did snowmobile safari and ice fishing on the second day, and it was fantastic. The guide was brilliant and the environment was just amazing. The house its self felt like we were staying in somewhere out of a film, it was just perfection. I would recommend to anyone, and might try and come back in the summer!
I noticed that they had a hot tub for hire, and that would have been amazing, but was quite a bit more money so sadly we didn't hire the tub.

Reviewed Jan 14, 2026Die Lage und die Hütte direkt am See waren ein Traum, gemütlich. Es waren alle sehr hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Wir hatten für einen Tag das Hot Tub gebucht, was leider nicht stattfinden konnte, da es zu kalt war. Dafür konnte natürlich niemand etwas, aber das haben wir erst erfahren, nachdem wir nachgefragt haben, ab wann es zur Verfügung steht. Wir hatten auch für einen Abend ein Menü bestellt, welches sehr lecker war und von der Oma zubereitet wurde. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis hat da für uns leider nicht gepasst. Wir hatten die vegetarische Variante, Gemüsecremesüppchen, Nudeln mit Pilzsoße und Blaubeersahne Dessert, dafür fanden wir 110 Euro zu teuer. Alles in allem war es ein traumhafter Urlaub.

Reviewed Jan 11, 2026Absolutamente tudo! Cabana em frente ao lago, que estava completamente congelado. Havia renas que passeavam em frente a cabana, estava tudo branquinho de neve, cenário de filme! Conseguimos ver a aurora da casa! Era toda equipada com tudo o que se precisa, cozinha completa, há um banheiro vinculado a sauna, um lavabo, dois quartos sendo um de casal e outro com duas camas de solteiro, um mezanino com quatro camas de solteiro, a sala é grande e aconchegante! Do lado de fora tem uma mini cabana para fazer fogueira, havia lenha já cortada. No primeiro dia esquecemos a chave dentro da casa e não sabíamos que a porta trancava sozinha, entramos em contato com o proprietário e prontamente nos respondeu e foi até a cabana para abrir. Acomodação 10/10! Espero poder voltar logo!

Reviewed Jan 11, 2026Wir hatten die aller schönen Tage hier! Wir haben jeden abend aus dem bett aus die polarlichter beobachtet. Es war die perfekte Lage, fernab von einer Stadt mitten im Wald so wie wir es wollen. Mir der integrierter sauna perfekt bei den Temperaturen. Die Umgebung und die Unterkunft waren einfach nur perfekt. Wenn man etwas brauchte war jemand sofort zu Stelle. Wir würden sofort wieder hier her kommen.
Es war alles super, leider hat die Heizung h
Irgendwann bei -42° nicht mehr sooo gut funktioniert, aber das war kein Problem durch den Ofen oder durch die Sauna konnte man prima anders heizen.

The house, covered in snow, felt magical and offered stunning views of the frozen lake nearby, creating a truly peaceful and authentic winter experience. The location is ideal for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature at its best.
Additionally, the staff were extremely attentive and responsive. We faced a heater issue in one of the rooms, and the team came immediately and resolved it without any delay. Their prompt support made our stay very comfortable and worry-free.
Nothing specific, as everything was close to perfect. The house was also well stocked with all basic necessities, which made our stay very comfortable. However, it is advisable to plan well in advance, as the nearest grocery store and gas station are about 30 km away.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025We absolutely loved our stay at the Hidden Aurora Hut. It’s a little gem in a stunning, remote location. Arriving to everything covered in snow felt like stepping straight into a winter wonderland.
We enjoyed peaceful walks around the area and to the frozen lake, surrounded by beautiful, untouched nature. The highlight for us was without a doubt the Northern Lights. Watching them from bed was unreal, and we were lucky enough to see them over three nights with zero light pollution.
The cabin was spotless, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The sauna and jacuzzi were amazing and really topped off the experience. Just make sure you bring all your groceries with you, as it’s quite far from shops.
Communication was excellent from start to finish. Jenna was fantastic — super helpful, quick to respond, and helped us with taxi arrangements and changes.
We stayed in winter close to Christmas, and it was an unforgettable experience. We’d definitely come back when we return to Finland

Reviewed Dec 25, 2025The locality of the house was well away from the main town. We were close enough to get to most of the attractions. The house was very impressive. Very clean and well maintained with alot of the necessities that one often forget. The locality due to its position allow us to see the northern lights three nights out of the five nights that we were there. The sauna was a nice touch.
We all agreed that the accommodation was a good as it gets.

Tardas aproximadamente una hora desde el centro de Rovaniemi pero las carreteras son transitables con ruedas de nieve y la recompensa viene cuando llegas y te encuentras un entorno de cuento frente al lago. Ubicación perfecta para ver auroras si tienes suerte y está despejado. El propietario tiene renos y que puedes ver y dar de comer. También tiene motos de nieve si deseas contratar la actividad. Además, a 10 minutos hay unas perreras donde poder realizar la actividad de huskies. Fue todo un acierto el alojamiento
El jacuzzi exterior no está operativo a menos que lo contrates con un día de antelación

The sunrise is magical, and kids played for hours in the snow in the provided sleighs. The property is beautiful, with modern amenities, well looked after and fully functional (the dryer was a winner!). We loved the sauna experience. And the Christmas tree was a special touch. Thanks for a great stay!
The mattresses on beds on top floor could be thicker. The pillows were too soft.

Almost nothing. It was an amazing stay. Maybe in future they could improve bed mattress, to make great stay even more perfect!

No está muy lejos de la ciudad pero como las carreteras estaban nevadas había que ir con cuidado y por lo tanto se tardaba bastante. Pero bueno, esto ya lo sabíamos desde un principio y es lo que le da el toque mágico a este sitio, que está en pleno bosque y la lado de un lago congelado. Impresionante lugar.

Reviewed Dec 11, 2025Das Haus Reiki liegt direkt am See und ist super gemütlich. Der Ausblick am Morgen von der Veranda ist wunderschön. Außerdem wurde jede Frage schnell und sehr freundlich beantwortet. Allgemein war der Aufenthalt eine 10/10.
Es gab nichts auszusetzen. Wir haben uns 100% wohlgefühlt.

Nada en concreto. Hay que saber que está ubicada lejos de poblaciones y servicios como supermercados, etc, pero de eso se trataba, de estar en mitad de un bosque nevado en un entorno inigualable.

Reviewed Nov 26, 2025tutto. se potessi darei piu’ di 10. se siete indecisi, prenotate qua ad occhi chiusi. a partire dalla gentilezza ed eccellente comunicazione con i proprietari, noi abbiamo alloggiato nella cabina aurora ed e’ stata ancora meglio delle nostre aspettative. un paesaggio fiabesco, la cabina era curata in ogni dettaglio (abbiamo trovato anche un albero di natale gia’ fatto!!) e un caminetto pronto. l’arredamento e’ tutto nuovo, tutto pulitissimo, la sauna e idromassaggio meravigliosi, avrei voluto passare piu’ giorni! la casa ha proprio tutto quello che serve, stoviglie, elettrodomestici, tutto e tutto nuovo! la vista dai vetri e’ spettacolare, e la casa e’ molto calda (fuori era -24 gradi!) spero un giorno di tornare da voi🥰

Reviewed Nov 25, 2025L’emplacement est incroyable au bord d’un lac avec le lever et le coucher de soleil toujours visibles. Les plus beaux que je n’ai jamais vu.
Nous avons eu la chance de voir des aurores boréales splendides durant notre séjour et des rennes en liberté aux abords de la maison.
Le sauna traditionnel en bois était une première pour nous. C’est aussi facile que d’allumer une cheminée et tout est fourni.
Le chalet est très bien équipé, cosy et authentique c’est ce que nous voulions et nous avons été servis.
Jenna, la propriétaire est très disponible. Réactive et très chaleureuse.
Nous avons adoré notre séjour en Laponie et particulièrement ce logement et son environnement exceptionnel.
A réserver les yeux fermés
Peut être le lit un peu petit pour deux mais la banquette du salon peut être une alternative.

There's a TV and boardgames. The kitchen is fully equipped ( including Finnish-design dishes!) and it even had spices, coffee filters ( and more!). Everyone wished we could have stayed longer :)
