Overall quite clean. Very comfortable bed, small, but perfect for us, ensuite. Close to Kilkenny city, Mount Juliet, Jerpoint Abbey and Thomastown. At the back of a pub if you wanted a drink.
This comprises of a very plain bedroom with a small bathroom about 3 feet wide. It looks out on a playing field that doubles as motorhome parking. No real ventilation, except for one small bathroom window. Tea and coffee making facilities were very basic, and the inside of the kettle looked disgusting, so we didn't use it. Bottled water provided was warm. No fridge and no kitchenette type facilities (in fairness they weren't advertised either). It was fine for us and did what we needed it to do (accommodation near Thomastown after an event in Kilkenny) but it isn't "luxurious" - though it could be glam with a few small touches. There was a wedding on so it was quite noisy until late (its behind a huge purpose built pub function room/beer garden).
Great stay, owner is super friendly and helpful

Perfectly spacious and had all the facilities we needed!

It was a unique find nestled in the curling fields near a fantastic bar.
Just be aware it is situated behind a bar and once in a great while there might be a rowdy and exciting event that could carry on into the evening. Best you can do is join the fun.
The location was absolutely stunning! I misread the booking info and went to the wrong place to check in, Fred rang me and gave me very clear directions on where to go, but when he realised I was around the back of the building he just came straight out to me! He was very friendly and courteous and showed me around my cabin and told me if there were any issues to just ring him and he'd sort it out. The cabin itself was amazing! it was even nicer than the pictures. The beds were very comfortable, lovely tea and coffee station, loads of sockets for power, I was very pleasantly surprised!
I wish there had been a little shelf or something in the bathroom to put cosmetics etc by the mirror. The pictures on the booking didn't do the place justice, I'd recommend taking new ones!
It was so comfortable and warm and easy to get to :)
Bigger then expected. Very comfy. Will be back. Staff great
Issue with hot water which was fixed in minutes when contacted staff/owner. Will be back
Stand alone sleeping accommodation.
There are no cooking facilities of any description just a kettle. They are described as luxurious cabins but they are an en-suite bedroom only. No shampoo or body wash are provided just hand soap. They are basic cabins not luxurious so considering what you are getting they are quite expensive.
Quiet, relaxed, clean
This was a very pleasant trip. The owners very verybfreindly kind and hospitable I would highly recommend staying here.
Convenient, clean and had everything we needed.
Cabins were very clean and comfortable and everyone was friendly
suited my needs fine. all I needed was a bed and ensuit for the night.
A small kitchen unit ( small cooker/ fridge/ sink) would have been nice for having the option of making yourself breakfast. I had to leave for my course at 8am und I didn't know where to get a breakfast. So I brought something with me, but unfortunately there was no way of keeping it cold.
Quiet and comfortable
The little cabins are nice and we had plenty of room and parking was 10 steps away.
The only thing that would have made it nicer, because there was no outlet in the bathroom, a mirror in the bedroom area near an outlet would be awesome. To make drying and curling hair easier.
It’s very clean and cozy. The bed is very comfortable.
The address/pin on booking.com doesn’t take you exactly to the location. It would be hard to see the place at night.
Here’s a glowing review you could use: "We recently had the pleasure of staying in the cabins at Stoneybetter, and we couldn't have been more delighted with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was beyond welcoming; nothing was too much trouble, and every request was not only met but exceeded. The cabins were incredibly comfortable, and the pub provided such a cozy atmosphere—it was the perfect blend of warmth and charm. Special thanks to Fred, whose exemplary service truly made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend Stoneybetter cabins to anyone looking for a relaxing and friendly getaway. We'll definitely be back!" Tom and Mary, Killarney
Really lovely little log cabin. Perfect for a night away. The pub malzards in front is definitely worth a visit! About 15 mins from Kilkenny city centre by car. It really was so peaceful location wise! Thanks again

Decor was modern, clean and comfortable. A nice break away from the city.
Shower pressure was poor, heating settings were slightly confusing.
The cabin itself was very comfortable and modern. Excellent bed and facilities. However, we had trouble finding the person to check in with. Turned out the check-in took place in a noisy bar in the town of Stoneyford.. The cabins are located in a large grassy field which also serves as a Hurling field (that is an Irish sport).
Having to find the check-in person in a noisy bar....
the staff were lovely and friendly, beds were super comfy, great atmosphere in the pub, would definitely stay again

Clean and warm, pub nearby was great fun
Provide breakfast.
Really comfortable cabins and a great welcome from Fred and all the team. Will definitely be back.
All the excellent reviews lived up to our expectations. We will definitely return. Lots to do, excellent accommodation.
Would love a fridge in the room. I saw this comment made in a previous review and thought it was a bit extra, but having stayed there a fridge would be a big bonus.
We had a lovely stay at the lodge, everything was perfect. The host Fred was lovely and very helpful. Would definitely come back. Great location if you're visiting Mount Juliet for a wedding.

The location was excellent, the host Fred was very helpful and friendly and approachable.the pub Was lovely music and beer garden was excellent, definitely would go back
The cabin was lovely! And very comfortable!
There was no shampoo ect.. and not enough milk with the tea/coffee for two people It would have been nice to have two chairs outside to sit and have a coffee in the morning. We also didn't expect there not to be a fridge
just everything...will defo return great pub and good vibes
fantastic location and fred and gary so professional ..made us feel so special
Great cabins in a quiet setting not far from city cetre
Fred and his wife are fantastic hosts, they make you feel very welcome and all the staff in the bar are lovely also! The cabins are much bigger than expected, comfortable, clean and warm. Bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom has an amazing rainfall shower. Short and comfortable drive to Kilkenny city too which is a big plus, we will absolutely be back again!
So quiet .light clean and fresh everything you need in a cute little pod .the host was lovely gave us ideas on where to eat .parking at your door .loved that you control.the room temperature the bed was so comfy white fresh bedding
Really need a hook in the shower room to hang clothes 😀 bigger tea cups too
Excellent place to stay, plenty of on sight parking and the staff were exceptional hosts.
Probably should have a blind or curtain on the bathroom window.
Unique, clean. Adjacent to a wonderful pub.
Nothing, it was fabulous.
The craic was mighty! Great weekend in the cabins.
No food for the public.
