Lovely relaxing and peaceful environment
There was a yoga group there one night who played loud music much too late into the night. We thought this was way to late in such a beautiful and peaceful setting
The property was secluded and private and away from large crowds.
What an absolutely wonderful place! We felt so relaxed and part of a peaceful little community. The beautiful flora and fauna! It was so very special. Would love to visit again.
It was perfect in its own way!
Was nice an comfy
All of it
It was just perfect in every way
There was nothing I don't like
Wonderful tranquil place to stay. The wagon was cosy and comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. Beach is a short walk away.
the location, kitchen, and common areas are well kept and very nice. we really enjoyed the "private" area in the kitchen and private bathroom. There's a lot of tables and activities to do on the campsite
we would've liked the possibility to lock the doors but everything else was great
Loved the communal space, our kids were obsessed with the trampoline & having chickens run around. Big fans of Doris the pig. It was a good base for us to travel around but not much for us to do in Inch with small kids. The host & other guests were friendly & helpful
The Wanderly Wagon wasn’t suitable for young kids with there being ladders to get up to the beds. We didn’t have space for a travel cot downstairs so if we stay again, we would choose a Yurt. There was a fair amount of animal faeces around the place with dogs being allowed to roam
l’emplacement, le calme, l’accueil
The yurts were very comfortable and spacious The outdoor area was relaxing and a great space for kids and adults with the trampoline and firepit The kitchen was large and well equipped and thought out There were animals everywhere which we all loved! A large sandpit for the kids Toilets all over the place! Everything was clean and well maintained 10/10
Perfect getaway, peaceful and so beautiful 😍
There was nothing not to like
Staff was friendly and helpful. Good value for the price. They allowed us to use the laundry facilities as needed. The staff wend above and beyond. The facility is beautiful.
Yurt is one big room. No privacy. Facilities (shower, toilet) were fine (clean, hot water plentiful, soap very gental) but a distance away. Some distance from anywhere.
We so enjoyed our stay at Inch Hideaway! Being in the country, on the land was a perfect way to end long travels. We were able to invite our kids for a BBQ and campfire on our last evening. The yurts are well constructed and the grounds and gardens are lovingly tended. Good kitchen facilities.
Some yurts have toilets and showers right near by, and others are designated, but a little farther away, so ask, if that's important to you.
The location was great 25min walk to beach with children as they don’t walk as fast. The area was so peaceful at night great sleep had by all. Pity about the large tractors on road but hey everyone has a job to do. The trampoline was a hit and the kids loved the wee campfire at night. The animals were a big hit won’t spoil it but so funny.
The rain on the last day spoiled it but otherwise weather was great.
What a lovely place with nice and welcoming people! The Sunset Yurt is spacious and very cozy, the oven warms up the room pretty well for chilly nights.
The Wanderly Wagon was very comfortable and providing the luxury of a flushing toilet, proper shower and cooking facilities . Hearing little stream behind the Wagon, being in a quiet rural area and not having Wifi all the time was a really good detox to mordern living .
It was very quiet and peaceful well needed break
Nothing
Nice place hidden away close to Cork city
A key for the door would have been nice. Whilst I would consider the area very safe it would have brought peace of mind when we left our expensive bikes behind.
The showers are spacious. Kitchen facilties just ok.
The whole experience was awful from start to finish. The beds are a joke no comfort at all. The tent was manky not cleaned and creatures everywhere. The location is out in the arse of nowhere atleast a 30 min drive to anything decent. The dog from the hideaway took food from our table we had no comfort at all eating outside. The front step of our tent was lethal my mam fell and hurt herself and had to cut her stay short.
I loved the mood and facilities. It is a lovely yet comfortable escape
Coleen and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Such a nice vibe around the place. We will be back for sure.
Absolutely amazing hideaway like a little bit of heaven on earth would move there in the morning and close to a dog friendly pub walking distance down a little grass boreen then a 10 min drive there's a dog friendly restaurant. Onsite everyone has access to a kitchen withe their own area for cooking etc and use of the fridge. Also each yurt has its own toilet and showering facilities. A short drive away you have garryvoe, shannagarry, and ballycotton so I walked the legs off my fur babies at the beaches. Inch beach is probably about a half hour walk 10 min drive but its for surfing not swimming as has rip currents but still a lovely little beach to go for a short walk on. Couldn't recommend the place people and locals enough can't wait to go back again.
The stay wasn't long enough would move there in the morning
Lovely atmosphere. Great for families
Friendly, eco sensitive, comfortable, peaceful well located
All good
Inch Hideaway is a hidden gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Owners were so welcoming and easy going. Staff were fabulous. Great place to stay
It's a very nice place to experience the true nature of life. Lot's of space for kids to explore. We were astonished about the creativity and joy of the people who built this side. Theire spirit is everywhere. The staff was super nice and helped us out with everything. Thank you so much!
The location was excellent, short drive to the local supermarket and the pub and beach were both walkable in under 25 minutes. It was a little quiet whilst we were there so we never had a chance to see the communal areas in operation which was a real shame. We were offered vegetables and eggs fresh from the on site small holding, this was very much appreciated. The wagon was great fun although there is a need for flexibility and dexterity especially for getting into bed
Nothing not to like really, a few extra kitchen tools (collider, grater, cafetière) would have been nice to have but not a deal breaker
Everything! It's is an amazing place to just relax and forget all your worries! The moment you get there you just relax and smile! The cooking facilities are fab,our 3 kids loved every minute and the yurt was perfect.
Having to go home!!!
Inch Hideaway was everything we wanted and more, the surroundings were so beautiful, our yurt was so relaxing and fun to stay in, surrounded by lovely plants and trees. The hosts Coleen & Fabrizio were really lovely. The kitchens were housed in this wonderfully quirky building, likewise the showers, in another interesting building. The facilities were excellent. There were lots of other things to see and do or just relax outside, or in the lovely communal barn area. Or just stroll round the grounds and see the lovely animals. Definitely feel so relaxed and calm after our time at Inch Hideaway.
Everything was lovely
We loved the organized kitchens and the lovely shared spaces. The grounds were overflowing with gardens and friendly animals.
Location excellent, marvellous beach/strand, sandy and good for swimming. Beds very comfortable and with wood burning stove cosy.
✨The highlight of our holiday. We loved everything about the Inch Hideaway and our Sunset Yurt was a real home. Fabrizio is a wonderful host and the whole atmosphere with the happy animals (the cutest cat in the world) and the beautiful nature just makes you happy.
Friendly hosts, excellent service

The location was quiet, lots to see
I loved the place based on pictures and reviews I had seen when booking, but nothing compares to when you arrive. The whole place just has such character and warmth. There’s so many little things that add up to make such a fantastic impression. Everything from the little homemade decorations on trees, to the quirky signage for things, to the allotments, chicken coop and Doris the pigs plot with the most impressive pear trees!! The ethos of the whole site being eco and things being reused and repurposed left me with a feeling of wanting to do more of the same at home! The kids (7,4 and 1) had the most amazing time and loved their little bit of independence (older kids) of being let go to the play area themselves with their friends they made there. The site and facilities are so clean and so well maintained! I had expected to come across some unwanted visitors in the way of bugs etc, inside the Yurt, but not a single creature was found! I had made my peace with the fact that the yurt may smell some what damp or musty, given the nature of its style (outdoors etc) but it wasn’t at all! Beds were homely and comfortable and everything was clean. Over all, it exceeded what we expected and we all genuinely adored our time there! We will be back! ❤️
If I had to pick something, it would be this- the sofa bed in the yurt wasn’t the most comfortable thing on the planet. However, it could also just be me and my terribly sensitive back and the fact I’m more used to a softer mattress. Would be perfect for someone who likes a more firm bed to sleep on, maybe.
This is an incredible location for families and kids to be kids in an idyllic safe setting!
The kitchen facilities were a bit crowded due to overall number of guests.
This is an amazing place, with flowers and animals, the yurts are comfortable and the owners are exceptional.
Nothing
Lovely little paradise away from home, weather wasn’t great ( but it didn’t matter) was a lovely little base for doing all things Cork-Based! Family are lovely! Kids got on great with everyone! Kitchen has everything you need to make a meal, even for 7! Thank you for your hospitality!
Not a dislike- but a recommendation if you stay, take crocs or something similar- we didn’t and we wish we had, just to shove on to go to and from toilets/showers etc.
Inch Hideaway was a fantastic place to spend time with our friends and their kids. Plenty of space for the kids to have fun and for parents to relax and catch up. Slept so comfortably in the gorgeous yurts and had lovely hot showers the next day. Colleen and Fab have such a unique vision and have poured it all into the place.
Only slight negative was the kitchen space, a thing that they are looking at improving next! Other than that, we had everything we needed.
Amazing place in an amazing location.
Just so peaceful..
Amazing contact and respect with nature
Something different. Fun. We liked the country feel, all the amenities, especially in the kitchen and fire.
Beautiful place in Ireland, incredible and helpful owners. great holiday location for active families. Lots to do lots to see. Absolutely must go if you like glamping
Nothing
The locationn is great as it is near some lovely beaches and towns to get food or supplies.
.
everything
Inch hideaway is good for the soul. We were in a yurt and it was just so relaxing and cosy. Back to basics and it was just amazing. There is a very cute communal kitchen with all you need and a lovely few extras like tea and coffee supplied. The location is perfect with two beautiful cliff walks in easy distance. Inch beach is a stones throw and comes with its own sauna. Highly recommend dropping into the local poc ar buile- it’s an experience in itself. We also thoroughly enjoyed Doris the resident pig, she’s a diva. A magic stay thanks Colleen for a lovely experience and thanks for being so accommodating.
walking distance to a great beach and pub. very comfortable and pet friendly
nothing it was fab
The tent house exceeded our expectations. Very cozy and comfortable to stay for a get-together or to stay in a group setup with friends.
Although we liked the tent house, unfortunately, I can not say the same thing about the kitchen area and washrooms. They were very dirty and almost unusable. I understand it was off-season time but if you are opening the tent house for guests, it is your duty to keep it cleaned. The kitchen utensils were very dirty and could not be used. The washroom was very very dirty, the floor was totally wet, same can be said for the washroom. If these 2 things can be improved, it will be all boxes checked.
unique and dog friendly
nothing
The kitchen, amenities, games for children, campfire setup, Pizza night, everything was fantastic. The kids really enjoyed the secret tunnel, the trampoline, the table tennis and all the games and books etc. We stayed 2 nights and there were 9 kids in our group ranging from 12 down to 5, not one of them asked for a screen the whole time we were there, they played outside until it was time for bed and had an amazing experience. I would definitely go back. Its a great place for a family to come together especially for people not so keen on camping 😁
One night there were a group of 3 friends who stayed by the campfire until early morning, playing loud music etc, everyone else in the site was part of a family and this kept a lot of us awake. The owner was away so didn't realise but apologised when she came back next day and we told her.
