Déçue du pti dej ,un des + simples qu on ait eu en 20 jours, rapport qualité prix un peu haut pour le pays. Fils électriques de l enseigne qui pendent dans l eau de la piscine. Un pti coup de propre au niveau du resto aurait été top (sol + tables)

So schön war es! Das Zimmer waren schön, sauber und geräumig. Ein sehr toller großer Pool an dem unsere Mädels viel Spaß hatten. Das Personal war wirklich sehr nett, sehr organisiert und hilfsbereit. Das Highlight war die Lage. Ein Katzensprung zu den Schildkröten. Zudem gab uns das Personal immer Bescheid, wenn Schildkröten schlüpften (so ein tolles Erlebnis - und es waren immer nur ein paar anderen Menschen dabei) oder nachts eine Schildkröte zur Eiablage kam. Wir konnten dann schnell vor zum Strand und es miterleben. Das Meer ist sehr wild und nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet, aber wunderschön! Kaum jemand am wunderschönen Strand.

Wie schon geschrieben wurde, könnte man den Kaffee noch etwas verbessern- aber das war wirklich nur eine Kleinigkeit.

Very beautiful accommodation with a nice garden and inviting pool. The surrounding is calm, the beach is just 3 minutes away walking. The room is spacious, clean, nicely decorated and everything was working perfectly fine (A/C, hot shower). A bonus was the lovely veranda we had. The staff here is amazing, too! Very lovely and caring people, we even stayed one night longer than we originally planned. :) Breakfast is plenty, delicious and varied a bit everyday.

Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Das Hotel ist super schön und nah am Strand. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, vor allem Sanna.

Die Unterkunft war unglaublich sauber schön eingerichtet tolles Bad mit warmen Wasser! Einfach unglaublich gastfreundlich. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Sana die alles getan hat, dass der Aufenthalt unvergesslich wird. Auch der Luxus, dass man eine Mitteilung vom Turtle Watch bekommt falls Schildkröten dort in der Nacht ankommen, um Eier zu legen, ist einfach prima.

Heel mooi hotel. De kamers zijn keurig. Goede bedden en een heerlijke warme en ruime douche met een goede straal. Het hotel ligt direct aan het strand met de Turtle watch. Zodra er schildpadden op het strand komen worden we gewaarschuwd door het personeel en konden we richting het strand. Je moet dan voor 2000 roepie kaartje kopen want je mag na 7 uur niet meer alleen het strand op. Je gaat met een groep en gids dan in het donker naar de schildpad die eieren aan het leggen was kijken. Je mag alleen rood licht meenemen. Terug naar het hotel, lekker restaurant en goede wifi. Service is erg goed en het zwembad is splinternieuw. Voor restaurants ben je wel gebonden aan Tuk Tuk of taxi ivm grote afstand tot Tangalle

Als je wat wilt eten en naar restaurant in Tangalle wil is dat met tuktuk of taxi 17 minuten. Het hotel heeft echter zelf ook een goed restaurant en is betaalbaar

Locatie top en relaxte sfeer. En geweldig diner voor ons bereid en de volgende ochtend een top ontbijt. Toen we aankwamen tip om gauw eventueel schildpadjes geboren zien worden op het strand…. Geweldige ervaring om te zien !

Prachtige kamers aan het mooie zwembad. Comfortabele bedden.

Doordat er weinig tot geen toeristen aanwezig waren (komt door Iran oorlog), was het resort iets wat verlaten. Hierdoor was er verminderd toezicht op schoonmaak en het voorzien van badhanddoeken. Op het land naast dit resort zijn ze aan het bouwen (momenteel Augustus 2026). wat zorgt voor verminderde privacy aan het zwembad. Iets waar de eigenaar weinig aan kan doen maar wat wel zorgt voor mindere ervaring. Gordijnen mogen tevens meer verduisterend. Prijs kwaliteit normaliter prima, door bovenstaande punten een 8 ipv een 9 score.

Super vriendelijke mensen! Hele schone en ruime kamers. Een prachtig zwembad met zelfs bubbelbadgedeelte. Ligt op 2 minuten lopen van turtle watch. Hier hebben zij goed contact mee, dus je wordt gebeld zodra er schildpadden te zien zijn. Ook kleine schildpadjes gezien. Mega aanrader!!

Clean, spacious and an incredible location to see the turtles. We saw baby turtles hatching and making their way to the sea and on the same day saw a turtle laying her eggs. Literally a 3 minute walk away from the hotel. All the staff were super helpful and could not have been more friendly. A fantastic little place.

Superbe nuit et accueil dans ce superbe endroit . L'accueil souriant et l'équipe a nos soins . Mon fils de 4 ans et moi même après de longues heures de routes étions attendu avec un jus de fruit pressé frais et une piscine pour nous seuls . Le repas était très bon et les crevettes cuites parfaitement jamais vues auparavant 🔥💯. Tous équipements et tout est propre. Je reviendrai les yeux grand ouvert car le personnel et les cuisiniers sont au top . Emplacement contre la plage des tortues 🐢🐢 Et le déjeuner n'en parlons pas ..une tuerie qui n'en finit plus💗🙏😉🫶 Encore Un grand merci à Sana et à son équipe

Perfecte locatie vlakbij het strand, moderne en mooie kamer, vriendelijke hardwerkende mensen en heerlijk zwembad. We kwamen laat aan, maar het restaurant was nog voor ons open.

Das mit Abstand beste Hotel in unserem Sri Lanka Urlaub 😍 Definitiv die erste Anlaufstelle, falls wir mal wieder nach Sri Lanka kommen. Wunderschöne Zimmer,toller Pool und superliebes,freundliches und stets bemühtes Personal . Nur zwei Minuten Gehweg bis zum Turtlebeach bei dem man Babyschildkröten schlüpfen sehen kann😍 Ein Paradies Und sogar eine Palmenschaukel direkt am Strand etwa zwei Minuten am Strand Richtung Osten. Essen und Getränke im dazugehörigen Restaurant Chill Cafe einfach fabelhaft. Besonderen Dank geht an die liebevolle und stets gut gelaunte Sana😘

El hotel es fantástico, los trabajadores son geniales sobre todo sana que es maravillosa,dulce y muy atenta. El desayuno entraba en el precio y esta riquísimo,pero es que las comidas y cenas son espectaculares, super ricas y sabrosas. El hotel se nota nuevo y con muy buen gusto. La playa literalmente esta a 2 minutos andando. Si vuelvo a sri lanka sin duda alguna elegiría alojarme aqui sin duda alguna. Gracias por estos dias tan maravillosos

* Отличная локация, рядом выход к океану, с другой стороны отеля - к лагуне. * Вежливый персонал. * Чистая территория. * Чистый бассейн с гидромассажем. * Каждый день на завтрак разные блюда национальной кухни. * Иногда на территории появляются обезьяны, павлины и игуаны. * Можно взять в аренду скутеры и тук-тук. * За отдельную плату предоставляется трансфер из аэропорта.

Рядом с территорией велась стройка, иногда было шумно.

Very comfortable room, we did not expect this standard after staying in other places in Sri Lanka. Good value for money. Amazing pool, cristal clean water in it and size sufficient to swim. Love the surroundings too.

I think you should keep the same standard of breakfast - I understand that there are difference between one day and another, but given day all guests should get the same breakfast - it is dissapointing when you identify, that your neighbors got better variety of foods than you. Other that that - very good offer.

Excellent location for access to seeing the Turtles, and their liaison with the turtle conservation centre. Clean, great service, friendly and helpful. Good food and nice pool.

Only suggestion would be that a safe in room would be nice

Very nice and friendly people with always support. The best hotel we had on our trip. Everything was very clean and modern with a great breakfast. They also inform you when turtles at the beach can be watches - very great experience and 100% recommendation.

Het is een heerlijk rustig verblijf op enkele minuten van het turtle strand. De mensen zijn zeer gastvrij en helpen je overal bij. Het strand kan je niet zwemmen omdat het gewoon te gevaarlijk is door de stroming. Er komen elke nacht veel schildpadden aan, dat zie je wel aan de spooren in de ochtend. Op het verblijf heb je een lekker zwembad, en de kamer zijn lekker ruim.

Eigenlijk niks, hou er rekening mee dat je iets van vervoer moet hebben als je in een dorpje of winkeltje wil komen. Het is wat afgelegen.

Prachtig, lekker eten en in de avond komen de schildpadden eieren leggen op het strand.

If it helps anyone book I would like you to know we had a 2 night stay and extended for twice as long. The staff are so friendly and helpful with a family vibe. I can’t fault any of them. Rooms are lovely and clean, spacious and look exactly like the pictures. Food is available on site and is delicious. You have to try the prawn soup and the grilled prawns.

Wir haben uns im Shine Wave sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr komfortabel. Der Pool zum abkühlen ist phantastisch. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich, authentisch und sehr sehr lecker. Wir haben auch mehrmals hier zu Abend gegessen. Die Mitarbeiter und der Eigentümer waren super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit bei Fragen. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben und können es zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Sehr nette Gastgeber in einer schönen, ruhigen Lage ein Dorf entfernt von Tangalle, nur wenige Meter entfernt von einem schönen einsamen Strand gelegen (der allerdings nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet ist, dafür muss man ca. 10 Minuten am Strand weiter laufen, wo es ruhigere Abschnitte gibt), mit einem leckeren Café. Wir hatten dort den besten Mango Lassi unserer Reise. Die Unterkunft hat inzwischen einen großen, schön angelegten Pool.

Am Pool fehlen Sonnenschirme, damit man sich dort etwas länger aufhalten kann. Leider gibt es rechts & links vom Hotel aktuell Baustellen, es gab kein Wasser bei Ankunft auf dem Zimmer, die Klimaanlage kühlte nicht wirklich gut runter. Alles aber nur Kleinigkeiten.

Shine Wave Turtle Beach is a stone’s throw from lovely Rekawa Beach where turtles can be seen grazing and hatching. Awesome location! Accommodation holds quite some rooms, a nice pool and a restaurant and is relatively large which made it a bit less personal although the owner was very helpful and catered to all our needs.

Very clean, good mattresses and facilities. There’s an outside pool and it’s 5m walk from the breach. Very convenient location

If you want to be close to the turtles, you can’t beat this property and going to the beach feels like you are on a fully private beach. This comes with the downside of having virtually nothing else around you to see or do and very limited food options. The staff were friendly and the pool was lovely.

The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the best either. Breakfast consisted of fruits, half an omelette per person, a very dry roti or hopper (seriously almost like cardboard) and some spreads.

Schöne, große und saubere Zimmer mit Balkon. Die Lage ist super, so nah am Strand, und der Pool ist sauber und schön! Das Personal war super lieb und hat uns auf Nachfrage sogar super leckeres Essen gezaubert, was gar nicht auf der Karte stand. Außerdem haben sie uns Bescheid gegeben, als abends Schildkröten am Strand waren. Wir durften am Abreisetag auch das Zimmer noch länger nutzen, was super praktisch war. Ein echt tolles Hotel!

Dette var det absolut bedste sted vi boede. Så hyggeligt, dejlig pool, fantastisk strand, store rene værelser og fantastisk mad i restauranten. Det bedste var beliggenheden ved Turtle Beach. Personalet gav os besked, når skildpadderne var på stranden. Vi kommer meget gerne igen

Har intet negativt at udsætte, udover at der ikke var shampoo på badeværelset.

The property is in a good location, just a 2-minute walk from a large, wide beach (where unfortunately swimming is not allowed due to strong waves and sea currents). The room was spacious and bright, with a large balcony. The garden and pool are well maintained, and it’s a nice place to relax. From the balcony you can observe monkeys and peacocks that come to visit. There are many restaurants in the area. Staff is friendly and helpful

We had a room on the second floor with a view of the neglected roof of the neighboring building, which also belongs to this property. The owner should take care of it. Our room is probably the only one with such a view.

La piscine entre les bâtiments, donc énormément de vis-à-vis et parfois du bruit puisque la terrasse de la chambre donne directement dessus.

Išsirinkome ši viešbuti nes norėjome pamatyti vėžlius. Deja,tai labai nevykusi patirtis. Įėjimas į papludimį kainavo apie 6€asmeniui,daug žmonių,gidai pasirodė nemandagus,ir nemalonūs ( šiaip šri lankiečiai labai draugiški žmonės)...ir vienas vėžlys tamsoje. Su tuo viešbutis neturi nieko bendro. Tačiau tai vienintelė nemaloni patirtis šioje vietoje

The breakfasts were amazing. The pillows were wonderful so soft and the bed very comfortable,. The air-conditioning worked really well and there was a fridge and freezer in the room. The owner and his team were simply outstanding. They arranged three trips for us that were all superb and our driver Piyumal was excellent. Always on time and a careful and safe driver. I would highly recommend this hotel. We loved our 7 nights here, such a good location, and near the turtle conservation too. The food in the restaurant was very good and great value.

There was nothing not to like, but there were no toiletries or hairdryer in the bathroom although I saw another guest borrow one from the owner.

Es sin duda el mejor hotel en el que me he alojado en Sri Lanka. Destaco la amabilidad y simpatía del personal, lo cómoda que es la habitación, la limpieza de la piscina y la calidad de la comida. Además su ubicación es perfecta, porque está a 2 minutos de Rekawa Beach, donde se pueden ver tortugas por la noche. Muchísimas gracias.

Duży pokój z równie dużą, czysta przestronna łazienka. Pokój wyposażony w klimatyzację, lodówkę, szafę, czajnik. Obsługa na najwyższym poziomie. Blisko do plaży. Basen z czysta ciepła woda, leżaki przy basenie. Zdecydowanie wysoki standard. Na plus również restauracja, która serwuje świeże smaczne dania.

Bardzo fajny hotel! Super duży basen z hydromasażem. Woda ciepła, bardzo czysto, w pokoju wszystko, co potrzeba. Plaża jest blisko. Wieczorem można na niej zobaczyć żółwie. Plaża za dnia wygląda jak z obrazka 🙂 Sana pracująca w recepcji bardzo dobrze mówi po angielsku, bardzo miła i komunikatywna dziewczyna. Podpowiedziała nam piękne miejsca, które można odwiedzić na Sri Lance.

Schönes Hotel in 2 min.Gehweite zum Turtle Beach. Die Kids waren begeistert vom großen Pool. Alles war super sauber. Und das Personal unglaublich freundlich und die Dame von der Rezeption/Restaurant ist Hammer. Vielen lieben Dank 🥰 Es ist noch eine Baustelle am Gelände, welche allerdings nicht stört und wir auch immer mal zu gesehen haben wie hier gearbeitet wird, die Kids fanden es super spannend.

Die Anlage ist zwar noch an entstehen, aber jetzt schon sehr schön. Von den Arbeiten bekommt man aber nicht wirklich etwas mit, der Pool ist schon nutzbar und sehr schön. Das Zimmer war großzügig und komfortabel. Der Inhaber und das Personal sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zum Strand ist es nicht weit. Wenn abends Schildkröten zum Strand kommen, kann man sich informieren lassen und dann an einer der Führungen dort teilnehmen. Wir hatten Glück und konnten eine Schildkröte bei der Eiablage beobachten.

Kids loved the pool and the food. We planned to stay two nights and finally we stayed for 5. The team is really nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Quiet place. A lot of restaurants around the corner. Close to a secluded beach with the chance to see baby turtles. 🐢

Eine sehr nette junge Familie, die das Hotel liebevoll renovieren. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten. Wir waren eine Nacht dort. Der neu angelegten Pool lädt zum verweilen ein. Wir sind mit einem Sri Lanka Abendessen und Frühstück verwöhnt worden. Auf unsere Wünsche, dass das Essen nicht scharf ist, sind sie voll eingegangen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The rooms are very clean and they have a big size, specially the bathroom. But better than the hotel are all the staff members. They take care of us at dinner, at breakfast and at all the moments. The location is perfect to visit the turtle beach.

Insects everywhere and scorpion

Fantastische plek, de mensen die hier werken zijn zo ongelofelijk aardig en gastvrij. Ze helpen bij wat je maar wilt en geven uitleg bij gebruiken of achtergronden. Het zwembad is splinternieuw met mooie fonteinen. De kamer was erg ruim, brandschoon en mooi ingericht. Inclusief airco én fan. Het nieuwe bijbehorende restaurant Chill café heeft een heel uitgebreide en gevarieerde kaart en we hebben er de lekkerste rijst met curry gegeten van de hele reis. Ook het ontbijt was heerlijk, en uitgebreid, met speciaal voor de kids pannenkoekjes gevuld met chocola. Ook ligt het naast Rekawa beach waar we baby zee schildpadjes uit hebben zien komen. Het bezoekerscentrum van het schildpaddencentrum ligt op een paar meter loopafstand. Kortom, een echte aanrader.

Niets, alles was fijn!

Heel proper, super vriendelijk personeel. Lekker ontbijt en diner ook heel goed. Goede locatie om ‘s avonds naar de schildpadden te gaan kijken. Airco en bedden prima. Heel mooi strand op enkele minuten wandelen van het hotel maar we waren er in het laagseizoen (juli) dus konden niet in zee zwemmen.

The apartment is in a quiet location, just a 2-minute walk from the beautiful Turtle Beach. It has its own restaurant where you can enjoy all your meals — and the food is amazing, honestly some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. There are also some great bars and restaurants nearby. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The owner is fantastic — he helps with everything: turtle watching, scooter rentals, tuk-tuks, airport transfers, you name it… and all at a fair price.

Mooi, ruim , nieuw Goede douche, airco, koelkast Fijne locatie, , naast turtle watch. Wij hebben in de middag 2 baby schildpadjes geboren zien worden en in de avond een vrouwtje eieren zien leggen. Heel bijzonder!!! Personeel van het hotel is uiterst vriendelijk, komen persoonlijk graag een praatje maken en helpen je bij alles. Eten was fantastisch, zowel ontbijt als avond eten. Verbaasde me over de uitgebreidheid van de kaart!

Aan de accommodatie was alles heel goed! Helaas kun je nauwelijks zwemmen in de zee hier omdat er teveel stroming staat en hoge golven , weet niet of dat altijd zo is of alleen seizoen nu. Ze zijn een zwembad aan het maken, dit zou over een paar dagen klaar zijn, helaas hebben wij er nog geen gebruik van kunnen maken, maar zag er mooi uit.

I'm not quite sure how to put our experience into words. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were treated like family. The accommodation is very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bathroom shower is huge & the bedrooms spacious. The location is ideal - 2 minute walk to Turtle Beach. When we were there, it was isolated due to low season - it was like heaven! The owners took us to the beach and showed us around as well as taking us to the forest behind the property to look at the lagoon. Everything about this place it perfect - ideal for a family stay. We also enjoyed a good meal in the restaurant in the evening and a hearty breakfast in the morning.

Прекрасни вили. Красива градина. На няколко метра от плажа. Тук е чудесно за дълъг престой. Използвахме услугата пране, която я няма на другите места. Сутринта гледахме маймуните как се забавляват по клоните на палмите. Колибрите хвърчаха. Много приятно място.

Very comfortabel and nicely decorated room. Nice staff taking great care, close to the turtle observation (at night) and a long remote beach

Sehr ruhige Lage, ein paar kleine Restaurants in der Nähe. Gutes Frühstück. Zimmer sehr groß, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Keine Unterhaltung (wollten wir auch nicht). Nah am Meer, auch die Lagune war nicht weit weg. Am Meer nur sehr wenig los (teilweise waren wir die einzigen). Dort brüten im übrigen auch Meeresschildkröten...

Sehr abgeschieden, kein Supermarkt in der Nähe - entweder aufs Auto angewiesen oder Tuk-tuk, wenn man mal wohin möchte. Das haben wir aber gewusst und es ist schön, nach der Rundreise für drei Tage so richtig entspannen zu können und nicht so viele Leute um sich zu haben.

Everything- what a hidden gem. The owner is fantastic. Room is amazing and breakfast fantastic. Completely empty beach and turtles in the evening 😍. There is a little turtle restaurant on the beach which serves great good. Payment with card is possible.

Breakfast is amazing but I would not recommend to have dinner there.

Die Unerkunft hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen! Alles war sehr sauber und modern und die Anlage wirklich toll!! Das Zimmer und Bad war gross und hatte alles was wir brauchten! Wir können es definitiv weiterempfehlen!

De kamer was heel groot en aangenaam. Wij hadden 2 ruime bedden. De accomodatie ligt ook op wandelafstand naar het strand, super aangenaam. Aan het strand is wel niet veel te beleven.

De accommodatie ligt ver van het centrum.

Kleine Oase direkt neben dem Schildkröten-Strand. Ein wahres Paradies. Große Zimmer und sehr sauber. Ebenso leckeres Frühstück. Das Personal ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt!

Ein Moskitonetz wäre noch perfekt gewesen aber wir hatten kein Problem mit Mücken. Ansonsten nichts auszusetzen.
