Hare o Ahani

This was exactly what I wanted and expected. I skipped the resort and did a homestay with an island resident and her son. Laura picked me up directly from the terminal, gave me flowers as a gift, gave me a brief driving tour through town explaining how to find the house. The lodgings were exactly as pictured, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fully in service. Its a simple but charming place. Kitchen available. Laura dropped me back off at the airport and offered me a totem of protection for my travel, which worked because it was flawless.

If you would be uncomfortable in a rural farm type homestay you may prefer a resort. If you want to connect with the way of life then this is your place.

El lugar es acogedor , todo está limpio y tiene cosas necesarias en áreas comunes. En general todo bien, Laura es la dueña y es muy cordial y amable. Uno literalmente se siente como en casa pero en Rapa nui

The hostess is a licensed guide and she took us on a day tour around the island. We also did a second, spontaneous excursion to Anakena with her. She even arranged a transfer to the airport for us and we were gifted the traditional flower necklace (like lei in Hawaii). The hostess gave us frozen mangos from her garden to make juice. You have your own fridge and can use any kitchen items needed. Short walk into town, mini market (expensive) across the street (2-3mins walking). You will get to know the family, as the hostess and her son live in the same building and share the living room+kitchen. Also, a nephew was around often, playing video games with the son. It's a good introduction to Rapa Nui everyday life.

Cleanliness in the kitchen - almost everything we touched was pretty sticky and needed a wipe before use. No wifi (the hostess created a hot spot for us so that we could at least buy the national park tickets) In general, be prepared for a veeeery humid environment on Rapa Nui as a whole. Hence, the place is rather damp. Everyone in the neighborhood has chickens and roosters - bring ear plugs!

La atención de Laura, la dueña, muy amable y simpática.

Solo falto tv. Pero uno va a la Isla a desconectarse.

Os hóspedes têm transferência desde o aeroporto e depois de volta incluída. Recebe-se um colar de boas-vindas a chegada e um amuleto à saída.

Fica próximo a um local com muitos cães, o que pode acabar por perturbar o descanso.

Super miejsce! Laura jest świetnym gospodarzem, mieliśmy zapewnione wszystko czego było nam potrzeba łącznie z informacjami o wyspie, drzewo mango na zewnątrz jest super 🫶 gdybyśmy kiedykolwiek mieli wrócić to właśnie tam

La isla es excepcional, Laura fue muy amable, generando una bella instancia en el hospedaje.

El agua del grifo es muy diferente a la de donde vivo, por lo que tuvimos que comprar bidón con agua.

Si tratta di una homestay molto carina, con una proprietaria, Laura, davvero gentilissima e amichevole (davvero eccezionale). Ci si sente come a casa. La mia camera aveva il bagno privato ed era pulita e comoda (ci sono anche soluzioni con bagno condiviso).

Dato il contesto è necessario adattarsi alla situazione. Non è raro trovare insetti in giro (consiglio di farsi prestare il repellente dalla proprietaria).

Ich wurde herzlich am Flughafen begrüßt und in die Unterkunft gebracht. Laura und ihre Schwester, Eugenia, waren ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Garten des Hauses gibt es mehrere Mango- und Avocadobäume. Die Früchte sind sehr lecker. Die gut ausgestattete Küche konnte ich benutzen. Bis ins Zentrum / ans Meer läuft man ca. 15 min.

La TV , no estaba funcionando . Aunque al final , ya no fue necesario usarla . En general estuvo genial

Hôte très gentille qui propose un hébergement confortable et propre. Cuisine fonctionnelle et bien équipé avec un frigo réservé aux invités. Nous avons eu un petit problème de communication à l’arrivée, elle vient généralement vous acceuillir à l’aéroport

Les chiens des voisins qui sont mal élevés et aboient tout passant. Un peu loin du centre du village mais tout se fait à pied

Laura was an awesome host, and the accommodation was perfect for our needs. She had great communication before our arrival. She met us at the airport, gave us a quick town tour, and let us get settled in. Our room was comfortable and clean, and there was a kitchen and amenities available if we needed them. Laura also gave us a tour of the island tailored to our interests, and she gave us recommendations of other places to check out on our own. We felt right at home, but also had our orivacy. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

Laura is amazing host. Helped me with many little things and shared some tips. For hostel - the conditions were perfect

No WiFi. Laura can share her hotspot. But when she is away - there is no backup. I also met a few cockroaches. But you can meet them anywhere on the island - even in 4star hotels

Laura is fantastic as a host. Friendly, informative, kind, comfortable home. Her son was very be kind too. There was use of the kitchen and a separate large fridge to use. Laura is a guide so it was brilliant to use her services for an excellent tour.

The house is a long 20 minute walk into town. This is not Laura’s fault as I knew about it in advance.

Everything was good.

It was a private home within walking distance to town. Full use of the kitchen and her home. The owner and her sister were our tour guides and they did an exceptional job. First day we went and toured the entire island and the next day her sister hiked us to the top of Mount Terevaka. We loved her cats. The owner was so helpful and went out of her way to make things comfortable. Highly recommend staying there and using her and her sister for all your tour needs. It is a room in a nice home and a great neighborhood.
