Green Haven Homestay

We just spent two nights at Green Haven Homestay, and it was a wonderful experience. We stayed in a clean, modern room and experienced the warmth and kindness of the hosts. The self-organised tour was incredible, and so was the delicious local food we shared with the family on both evenings. It was a truly special experience that gave us a lovely insight into local life. We would highly recommend Green Haven Homestay to anyone visiting the area!

Alles. Die Bungalows sind super schön, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Hier kümmert sich die Familie persönlich um die Gäste und herrscht eine schöne, friedliche Atmosphäre. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ci abbiamo lasciato il cuore.. Amiamo Tetebatu, e questa guest house è perfetta x soggiornarci.. Proprietari e staff sono splendidi, e ci hanno aiutato in tutto. Ristorante piccolo ma molto buono, con possibilità la sera di cenare in modo tradizionale tutti insieme.. Poi abbiamo cantato, accompagnati dalla chitarra: bellissima esperienza e soggiorno splendido. Raccomandatissimo. E sempre un sorriso..

We had such a great time, the bungalows are amazing and the family really nice and welcoming.

The host was the highlight, such a lovely, friendly, chatty and helpful guy. Room perfect for a decent length stay, very clean. Location perfect, all in all just a great place.

La famille est d’une gentillesse incroyable ! Le logement est très propre et totalement fonctionnel (savon, sèche cheveux…). Voyageant seule et ayant des soucis de sécurité précédemment, je me suis sentie en sécurité dans ce complexe, j’ai dormi comme un bébé ! L’environnement, la chambre et les parties communes correspondent aux photos. J’ai même eu le plaisir de partager un repas typique avec la famille et les autres touristes. C’était un moment incroyable de partage, musique et guitare, découverte culinaire… C’est ma meilleure expérience en Indonésie pour l’instant. Ils méritent qu’on leur donne de la force. Merci encore, prenez soin de vous.

Everything. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The staff made our stay exceptional. The accommodation was gorgeous and in line with Indonesian style. Breakfasts so tasty.

Jay, Anggel and the whole family were super welcoming and for our 3 night stay we felt very well cared for. Very responsive and attentive, very friendly and overall I can't fault this homestay. Hot showers, bed was comfy, rooms were spacious. It was perfect and would definitely recommend this as your stay in Tetebatu!

Le personnel est incroyable, c’est une Homestay familiale qui aime partager sa culture, nous avons prit l’excursion dans les rizières faite par le patron, il a passé la journée avec nous et nous a fait découvrir plein d’endroits. Le soir nous avons mangé au Homestay, des plats locaux excellents !

Die Familie war sehr gastfreundlich und bemüht, die Ausflüge ware super und das traditionelle Essen ein tolles Erlebnis. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal dort und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Auch die Bongalows bieten Komfort und lassen keinen Wunsch offen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

We recently stayed at Green Haven for 3 nights We flew into Lombok airport and had arranged a pick up with Green Haven (as a side note - the drivers wait for you in the lower section, just head for the KFC and you'll be in the right area for pick up) The freshly made fruit juice offered when we arrived was delicious and refreshing The photos are a true reflection of the room - infact the room was even better in real life Our room was tastefully decorated - the bed and pillows were very comfortable There was also a settee in the room. The air conditioning worked well and cooled the room quickly The bathroom was huge and well laid out - the water temperature and pressure was excellent There was a small table and chairs, plus drying rack, out on the front verandah Breakfast was cooked to order in the morning Tea, coffee and kettle were provided in the room or alternatively you could have tea and coffee anytime up in the dining area. Also your water drink bottles and room jug were refilled in the dining area There were cold drinks available to purchase (soft drinks and beers) Green Haven offers a couple of tours - we did both and thoroughly recommend them both) Green Haven also arranged our driver to Kuta Lombok Everyone we met at Green Haven were so friendly and welcoming - we loved our time there and would recommend Green Haven if you are planning a trip to Tetebatu

Nous nous sommes très bien sentis dans cet hôtel. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par nos hôtes, adorables, disponibles et attentionnés tout au long du séjour. Ils ont gentiment porté nos sacs depuis les scooters jusqu’à notre chambre, ce qui nous a tout de suite donné une très bonne impression. Les chambres étaient d’une propreté impeccable, tout comme les salles de bain. Elles ne sont pas neuves ni luxueuses, mais tout est parfaitement entretenu, ce qui permet de se sentir immédiatement à l’aise. Ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié, c’est l’accueil authentique et les expériences proposées par les hôtes. Ils organisent des visites et rencontres avec des artisans locaux (poterie, rotin, bambou, huile de coco, rizières, café…), permettant de découvrir la culture de la région de manière très enrichissante. Nous avons également pu déguster plusieurs produits locaux. Ils proposent aussi un dîner en famille, partagé autour de plats traditionnels. C’est une expérience très chaleureuse et authentique, qui nous a beaucoup plu. Le restaurant mérite également une mention spéciale : les smoothies étaient excellents ! À notre arrivée, nous avons aussi reçu un délicieux jus de fruits et des fruits offerts. Nous recommandons cet hôtel à tous ceux qui recherchent un endroit propre, chaleureux et authentique, avec des hôtes qui font découvrir leur culture. Une très belle expérience humaine

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und auch schön gelegen. Mitten in der Natur, rundherum ist alles grün und schön ruhig. Green Haven Homestay ist ein Familienbetrieb. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich und mit vollem Herzblut dabei. Touren konnten wir auch gleich über das Homestay buchen und sie waren sehr flexibel wann es losgehen soll. Auch das Essen ist super lecker, egal ob Pancakes, Omlette, Curry oder Mie/Nasi Goreng, alles hat richtig gut geschmeckt und wird frisch zubereitet! Ich kann Green Haven nur weiterempfehlen und werde sicher nochmals kommen! :)

Die Familienhütten sind sehr gross und super ausgerüstet. Der Standort ideal um die Gegend zu erkunden. Das Essen ist enorm lecker. Einzigartig macht dieser Ort aber die netten Leute. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

On a passé un moment formidable dans ce homestay. Très bien situé, très confortable. Makbul et toute son équipe sont aux petits soins pour vous rendre le séjour des plus agréable. On regrette de ne pas être resté plus longtemps. Super rapport qualité prix. Que dire de plus, je recommande vivement!♥️

La famiglia molto disponibile e accogliente. La camera pulita. Le esperienze proposte sono fantastiche e con prezzi contenuti. La visita per vedere il processo della piantagione del riso, le cascate, la foresta delle scimmie, il mercatino delle spezie e il processo di produzione dell'olio di cocco...6 ore indimenticabili. Il giorno dopo un villaggio per vedere la tessitura manuale, poi una produzione di terracotta con esperienza di produrre con le nostre mani un vasetto, poi la lavorazione e intreccio del bambù e infine la lavorazione del caffè. Il cibo cucinato da loro è molto buono e propongono una cena tradizionale con la famiglia: un'altra bellissima esperienza. Che dire: un posto in cui tornerei sicuramente!

Every single thing

Très bel homestay. Chambre très spacieuse, propre et confortable. Les chambres sont en retrait de la route donc c'est calme, et les mosquées sont assez éloignées pour dormir correctement. On y mange bien et le personnel est accueillant et toujours présent. Les sites à visiter peuvent être rejoints à pied en marchant un peu, ce qui était très agréable avec les nombreuses rizières.

Rien, à part juste que je ne captais pas le wifi depuis ma chambre. Mais il est possible de rester dans la partie du restaurant pour avoir internet.

Our best stay in Indonesia, it feels like home as soon as you arrive. Located opposite rice fields and minutes walk from warungs. The rice field tour is a must with breathtaking views and great opportunities to understand local practices including the coconut oil process. There is also a special local dinner on offer which is a lovely opportunity to get involved with cooking and to eat with the family - it felt very special. We would recommend to anyone visiting Tetebatu.

Super séjour en famille à Green Haven ! L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter les environs et apprendre de la culture Sasak. Les chambres sont très agréables et bien entretenues, l'accueil est vraiment chaleureux, nous avons adorés et nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Direi assolutamente tutto. Fuori dalla confusione, ma il giusto per poter arrivare al centro del paese a piedi. Struttura e proprietari super accoglienti e pronti a sostenere ogni necessità . Bungalows molto belli, di recente costruzione, immersi in un bel giardino curatissimo. Appena entrato impressionato dalla pulizia, dall’ampiezza e dal profumo della camera. Nella stanza c’è un divano ed ha un patio ampio in cui il relax è assicurato. All’ingresso subito entrato sulla destra un ampia struttura all’aperto è adibita alle colazioni e ristorante. A questo proposito, vi ho mangiato due sere e vi assicuro che ho mangiato bene ed abbondante, con prezzi molto contenuti!!! Offrono la possibilità di noleggio scooter, che ti procurano in 10 minuti e ti organizzano spostamenti in auto a prezzi congrui. Io da Tetebatu con il servizio sono arrivato a Kuta(sud) CONTENTISSIMO!!!

Heel vriendelijke broers die dit uitbaten, de hebben de rijstveldtour en het traditionele avondeten gedaan en kan beide zeer hard aanraden. Ze geven ook goede tips om de Rinjani te beklimmen.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an den Reisfeldern von Tetebatu. Es ist sehr sauber und die Betten waren gemütlich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben dort gleich eine Tour durch die Reisfelder gemacht. Die Tour machen die Eigentümer selbst und erzählen sehr viel über den Anbau, sowie die unterschiedlichen Pflanzen. Das Essen von der Gastfamilie war das beste was wir bisher in Indonesien hatten.

As a solo traveler I felt at home. Jay and his family took really good care of me, asked me if I want some tea many times a day. Food was amazing and they even cooked all meals in vegetarian at family dinner for me. I would totally recommend to book the tours with the hosts. I have learned so much there!

The WiFi didn’t work in my room but the connection is strong enough for the other cabins.

The people working there are super nice. There is a good selection for breakfast. Can rent a scooter directly at the property so super convenient.

I came to stay at Green Haven as a solo traveler. From the moment I arrived they were so welcoming, it started with a lovely welcome drink and a delicious lunch. I did the Sasak village tour with Makbul on my first day, this was an amazing experience, from bamboo weaving to pottery to watching the amazing hand weavers at work. On my second day I did the rice fields tour with Jay, we went to amazing waterfalls and saw some black monkeys. My last night was spent having a traditional Indonesian meal with the family, the food was absolutely delicious. The bunglows are lovely, very clean and the beds were so comfy. My favourite place I stayed in all of Indonesia!

Ontzettend hartelijke familie die alles doen om het je naar de zin te maken. Vooral de tours waarbij je samen met een van de broers door de prachtige omgeving gaat zijn super leuk om te doen. Het overheerlijke eten en diverse fruitdrankjes maken het verblijf in Green Haven Homestay compleet.

Alle Mitarbeitenden waren sehr hilfsbereit und aufmerksam.

L’accueil était chaleureux et le logement était parfait. Nous avons fait les deux tours proposés par les gérants pour visiter les rizières, villages etc et nous n’avons pas été déçues ! Tout se fait à pieds, et nous avons découverts beaucoup de la culture locale dans un paysage magnifique accompagnées des frères adorables ! La nourriture était très bonne, et nous avons même pu profiter d’un repas local avec eux accompagné de chansons, une veillée magique ! Cet endroit regroupe tout ce que nous souhaitions voir de Tetebatu, je reviendrai sans hésiter !

It’s right on the main road, can be noisy when you’re at the restaurant but quiet from your room. They didn’t clean room on the second day.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr Wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft empfehlen. Die Eigentümer und seine Brüder sind sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der Nähe gibt es viele sehr leckere Restaurant.

Einzig das Wlan war bei und im Raum nicht sehr stark. Aber sonst war alles super!

Prachtig gelegen midden in de natuur. Ik heb de 2 tours geboekt om de omgeving en de natuur te leren kennen. De watervallen tour is echt zeer goed. Die heb ik gedaan met de oudste van de 3 broers Jay en hij heeft alles zeer goed uitgelegd. Eigenlijk verdient Jay alle sterren, hij was vriendelijk, attent, goede kok (ontbijt). Ontbijt was trouwens ook zeer goed. Hun privé chauffeur (schoonbroer) raad ik echt aan mocht je een chauffeur nodig hebben. Vriendelijke man, heeft me onderweg naar de haven nog getrakteerd op locaal eten, waarvoor dank 🙏.

Ich fand die persönliche Betreuung besonders gut! Ich habe viel über die lokale Landwirtschaft erfahren! Es wurde alles ausführlich erklärt und diskutiert!

The property itself is very beautiful and the surrounding area is lovely. The Brothers who run the Homestay are really helpful and lovely! The Family-Dinner was delicious and a really nice experience!

During my stay it rained heavily for several hours — of course the homestay cannot be blamed for the weather. However, after some time water started dripping from the ceiling onto the floor and eventually onto the bed. The room in general was very damp, and you could clearly see mold on the walls. The Sesak tour felt more like a shopping trip. The visits to each stop were quite short, and I got the impression that at every place I was expected to buy something or at least give a donation

Wat een prachtig verblijf! Nergens hebben we ons zo welkom gevoeld als hier. Wij hebben 5 nachten gelogeerd bij de 3 broers en hun familie. Ze ontvingen ons ontzettend hartelijk met een heerlijke fruitsap als extraatje. Tijdens ons verblijf hebben we bovendien enorm genoten van de lekkere lokale keuken en de verschillende rondtochten die ze zelf organiseren. De rust en de natuur hebben ons enorm veel deugd gedaan. Enorm hard bedankt om onze vakantie zo aangenaam te maken! We raden dit verblijf 200% aan!

The rice fields tour was incredible, we visited beautiful places and in the end I got to see the process of getting coconut oil and participate in the experience. The room was spacious, clean and I had a little balcony are for myself. I definitely recommend this place!

The entire stay was just great. Super nice people, authentic accommodation and good food. In addition, the Homestay has a good location and the tours offered by the hotel are a lot of fun and worthwhile. Above all, I would try the local dinner!

If you want to criticize something, it is that it was a bit sultry in the room and there was no air conditioning. But it was still very bearable

L'hébergement est tenu par trois frères qui sont vraiment aux petits soins. On a eu droit à une soirée chant à la guitare et une visite des artisans du village. Ils proposent aussi dans les services un repas en famille mais nous ne l'avons pas fait. Les repas étaient très bons. Le cadre verdoyant est magnifique et reposant.

La chambre était très humide avec une forte odeur d'humidité. On laissait la porte ouverte en journée quand on était là pour aérer un maximum et faire diminuer l'odeur le plus possible. Il n'y a pas d'airco mais un ventilateur. La lumière dans la salle de bain est très faible donc c'est assez sombre quand la nuit tombe.

Petit homestay au calme, proche des rizières. Les hôtes, 3 frères, sont tous très sympa et attentionnés. Jay m’a accompagné tout au long de mon séjour et m’a fait découvrir la région de la meilleure des façons. Ils proposent des tours pour visiter les villages aux alentours et découvrir leurs artisanats et un tour à pieds dans les rizières, cascade, monkey Forest. Ils aiment partager, faire découvrir et expliquer leur mode de vie local

Nous avons adoré séjourner à Green Haven! Nous avons pu tester la chambre avec la climatisation et la chambre familiale et elles sont toutes les deux neuves et propre. Le jardin est un petit paradis très bien entretenu ! C’est un petit homestay familial où on se sent bien et où nous avons été très bien accueilli par Jay, Makboul et Djon (désolée si je me trompe dans l’orthographe) ainsi que le reste de le famille merci à vous ! #ouistiti La nourriture est très bonne, nous avons fait le tour des rizières (merci Jay 🙏🏻) que nous avons adoré ainsi que le repas local pour lequel nous avons pu aider à la cuisine. Très bonne adresse si vous voulez une expérience authentique et chaleureuse ! ☀️

Nous avons un peu moins aimé le tour du village Sasak qui selon nous faisait un peu moins authentique, mais nous avons adoré passer la journée avec Makboul, merci 🙏🏻

The staff was very friendly and took very good care of us! We can recommend doing the trips with them, because they will give you many information and a great time. Also we had a nice dinner with them, which we also can recommend if you are interested in traditional indonesian dinner.

I would definitely recommend on going to Tetebatu! We loved the town & had a very good stay at Green Haven. The staf was again very friendly and helped us out. We asked transportation from Kuta to the Homestay and they delivered on time. Also needed transportation to Bangsal Harbour, which was provided. The food for lunch & breakfast was very good! We booked a tour of the rice fields, Monkey forest & even did soms coconut oil making. Very nice tour guide who gave us all the information about rice making. Very interesting! All of this was for a reasonable price! I would recommend!

Too bad we could not stay for one more night because of a tight schedule. I would stay 2 nights in order to explore Tetebatu to the fullest (for example cooking class, pottery etc)

Das Team ist großartig! Sooooo herzlich, witzig und nett! Die Reisfeld-Tour ist ein Muss, es ist wirklich authentisch und eindrücklich. Auch das Essen war sehr lecker.

Wir hatten das Standardzimmer ohne Klimaanlage gebucht. Die Luft im Zimmer war sehr schlecht, die Luftfeuchtigkeit extrem hoch, man konnte nicht wirklich lüften und dadurch sind die Wände mit Schimmel befallen. Besser die größeren Bungalows buchen :) aber die Herzlichkeit des Teams hat das wieder Gut gemacht!

The staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. They provided great meals and offered tours which we enjoyed. The room was clean with air conditioning and a great shower in the bathroom. All reasonably priced.

Everything was good, there was nothing we didn’t like.

Super nice homestay. Clean, unique and i felt at home. A loving family that is making you feel at home. The tours they offer are so interesting and i really learned so much about the local life. I would suggest everyone to stay here.

Supervriendelijke familie die van alles organiseert! Wij hebben meegedaan aan de rijstveldtour en de cultuurtour, heel verschillende tours, maar allebei echt de moeite waard! Ook konden we in de avond met de familie mee eten waarbij er door vrienden ook nog muziek gemaakt werd :)

L’endroit est magnifique ! Tant dedans qu’aux abords avec les rizières. On a adoré séjourner ici. La famille est d’une gentillesse incroyable. On a vraiment aimé passer ces deux jours avec eux. J’y retournerai les yeux fermés !

Easily the best booking during our Lombok / Bali trip! The staff was great, took us on tour and had us for their family dinner. Most authentic and exceptional experience on Lombok!

Les logements sont très propres et surtout très beaux et fonctionnels La nourriture est délicieuse ! Le Olah Olah miam miam Les activités sont parfaites et locales, ils se connaissent tous (grande famille) et se font tous travailler, du coup on se sent bien partout et c’est très fluide ! Gorgeous homestay with lovely little individual houses which were very comfortable and surrounded by luscious green gardens. Very tranquil! The hosts are wonderful, very welcoming and will teach you lots about the local area. The tours of the rice fields, waterfall , and coconut oil making was brilliant! Highly recommend

Wij hebben hier een topverblijf gehad. De familie van de homestay was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De huisjes waren heel mooi, schoon en hadden comfortabele bedden. Wij hebben vanuit de homestay de ricefield tour gedaan en dit was zeker een van hoogtepunten van onze vakantie!

Tout était parfait : le logement, à la fois très beau et parfaitement propre, l’emplacement idéal – au cœur de tout, et juste derrière les rizières – et surtout l’accueil incroyable. Le véritable point fort de ce séjour a été la chaleur et la bienveillance de la famille, des trois frères et de leurs épouses. Nous avons partagé avec eux des instants d’échange et de convivialité hors du temps. Les quitter fut un vrai déchirement tant nous avons eu l’impression de faire partie de leur famille. Un immense merci pour tout ! Nous recommandons vivement de participer au dîner local qu’ils proposent : un moment unique, riche de traditions, de discussions et de partage autour de la simplicité et de la vie. Je reviendrai sans hésitation, et une chose est certaine : nous n’oublierons jamais ces trois frères formidables. Merci du fond du cœur.

Mooie, comfortabele huisjes op een rustige plek in Tetebatu. Personeel is erg vriendelijk. Wij hebben één dag een tour gedaan langs de rijstvelden, waterval en apenbos. Eén van de personeelsleden gaf deze tour en vertelde ons alles over het lokale leven en de landbouw etc. Erg interessant. We hebben zelfs nog Kokosolie gemaakt. Zeker een aanrader om hier te verblijven!

The owners are super friendly! Food is delicious

Nous avions 1 bungalow double + le bungalow familial. Un accueil exceptionnel, des excursions extra, une gentillesse incroyable. Nous devions être 6 et avons finalement été 7, ils ont fait tout le nécessaire pour s adapter à ce changement tardif avec bienveillance bonne humeur et de grands sourires ! Nous avons également réalisé le tour artisanal et le grand tour, avec le soir le dîner local avec nos hôtes, c était vraiment top !

L accueil, la gentillesse, la propreté, les activités proposées, le confort, le petit dej, le restaurant, les soirées partagées avec les proprietaires, bref tout ! Une de nos étapes préférées lors de notre périple en Indonésie

Arriving at the accommodation was like a little piece of heaven. Lovely area, the room was spacious with a his bathroom. Breakfast was included and was super yummy with fresh fruit, coffee, and your choice of eggs, pancakes etc. Simple meals are also on offer at very good prices with the option of a full, many course, traditional meal eaten with the family. The room was clean, with a super comfy bed. Bathroom was also fine with plenty of hot water. The owners are really friendly and help with anything you need, they sorted out our washing and arranged transport for us when we needed it. The village nearby has many options for meals and the surrounding area of rice paddies, waterfalls and forest with black monkeys is amazing. Green Haven will book tours to these areas plus more. Great stay. We were there 3 nights and it was wonderful.

Everything was great, a brighter light in the main room would be helpful but that's really all.
