What an outstanding place and the ladies are amazingly kind! Wish we could have stayed much longer but this was already a highlight on our backpacking trip. The view is stunning and the food is incredibly delicious! This is a must recommend for me and I will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a calm and authentic place to stay between Galle and Ahangama what both is close by with any means of transportation.

При отеле кафе, обслуживают сами хозяйки отеля. Готовят отлично, вкусно, но нужно ждать. Вообще было шикарно! Просто, вкусно и красиво! Развлечений не ждите, тут спокойный отдых.

Имейте ввиду: шум волн с одной стороны и шум с дороги с другой, но шум дороги перекрывает дверь в санузел, нам этот шум не мешал. А вот волны ночью это что-то, но это природа и мы на пляже, знали куда приехали.

Noisy traffic, as main road is behind all the rooms. A bit in the middle of nowhere. Had to pay cash, as no card machine, but was not told that until we checked out!

The accommodation is managed by two wonderful sisters, who made us feel like part of the family. There is also a restaurant with exceptional food. 100% recommended.

Attention, route passante et bruyante côté salle de bain . Si vous êtes sensibles , des bouchons d’oreilles résoudront le problème . Côté chambre, les bruits des vagues est incroyable .

Die Lage zum Wasser ist ein kleiner Traum. Einfach wunderschön. Auch eine große Schlange fand es klasse.

Mäßig sauber. Direkt hinter dem Hotel verläuft die ganztägig viel befahrene Küstenstraße. Da zwischen Dach und Wand keine Abdichtung erfolgte, ist es sehr, sehr laut (zumindest im Obergeschoss). Die beiden Betreiberinnen sind sehr freundlich aber mindestens genauso geschäftstüchtig. Meine Empfehlung: täglich Essenrechnung checken. Die Leistung entspricht nicht dem geforderten Preis.

We loved our stay here! The location is right on a gorgeous little beach, with steps down for swimming and sunbathing. Small terrace for food & drink, and all rooms have a balcony/terrace. Small, private place with about 6 rooms run by 2 AMAZING sisters and their family/friends. The restaurant served delicious Sri Lankan dishes, breakfast was great too. Our room was simple, but super clean and comfortable. Road sound was busy in the bathroom, but bedroom on beachside was just sound of waves, perfect. We had a lovely breakfast each morning on the terrace overlooking the sea, it was heaven. We ate here too, food is freshly cooked and absolutely delicious! The family were so welcoming and genuinely warm, we loved the vibe, it felt like you stepped through the entrance to a little slice of heaven, it was so welcoming and relaxing. We felt very sad to leave, we would love to come here again, wouldn't hesitate to recommend Turtle Beach.

The sisters who run this place are brilliant, so friendly. They home cooked the food from scratch which was exceptional. Comfortable clean rooms with balcony overlooking the gorgeous beach. A nice seating area for drinks and meals Although not much room for loungers etc but there are a couple. We were up and out after a little chill after breakfast and a walk on the lovely quiet beach. 5 mins walk from here you can feed turtles which was one of our favourite things. A very pleasant 2 night stay.

Рядом автобусная остановка, можно легко доехать куда угодно. Пешком ходили до деревни Хабарадува - там озеро, черепаховая ферма, рестораны. Вообще место очень умиротворяющее, были 5 дней, надо было больше бронировать)

Прекрасный вид и удобная комната. Хозяйки очень добрые женщины, всегда встречают с улыбкой и готовы поговорить на любые темы

впервые пробовали отдых в гостевом доме и данный дом превзошел все ожидания и соответствовал каждому отзыву на букинге. максимально милая семья, каждый ее член очень добрый, приветливый и старательный. мы были окружены круглосуточной заботой и вниманием к нашим желаниям. Ночью нас очень быстро встретили и проводили в готовый номер. Провожали всей семьей, что очень волнительно и приятно. Вкусные и обширные завтраки, хороший номер, чистая постель, удобные подушки, на территории есть интернет, просторная душевая с горячей водой. Постоянно слышен шум океанских волн))) На территории гостевого дома лежаки для загара, полотенца, есть маленький очень красивый свой пляж. Нам очень помогли советами, что посмотреть вокруг, организовали несколько экскурсий и разноплановых поездок, цены более чем адекватные на все. Другие жильцы тихие и скромные, никакого шума уважение друг к другу. Приятно, что люди так заботятся о своих гостях и жаль, что мы забронировали немного дней. Оценка 10 из 10 заслуженна и правильная. Желаем процветания и развития.

The hotel is run by 2 sisters and nothing was too much bother. The rooms were very good for the price. The seafood was exceptional at a very competitive price. We had a balcony, which gave us a panoramic view of the ocean, and watched lots of turtles swimming. We also had our laundry done there, to a very high standard and very cheap. Definitely will return.

Die Lage dirket am Meer ist absolut super, man kann sogar manchmal Schildkröten im Wasser entdecken. Abhängig von der Jahreszeit kann man dort wohl auch direkt schwimmen. Das Zimmer war groß und es war alles sauber.

Unterkunft und Essen war im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften in denen wir sonst waren eher teuer.

En nuestro caso estaban haciendo obras. Ademas del ruido de la calle, al final no era el sitio ideal que habiamos imaginado en la playa para descansar. Otro punto negativo que no solo aplica a este hotel sino a Sri Lanka en general, es la suciedad de la playa. La gente echa sus plasticos y basura en la arena y no te da ganas de meterte en la arena o el mar. Deberían de cuidar mas el entorno natural. Nosotros de Europa no estamos acostumbrados a tanta suciedad y eso perjudicará un día o otro al turismo.

Вид на океан, пляж в секундной доступности, каждый день приплывают черепахи. На соседних пальмах обитают попугаи, а на дереве рядом с отелем живет пальмовая белка. Это не отель, скорее это гостевой дом, и убираться так часто как в отеле не будут, а от приходящей уборщицы не нужно ждать протертую пыль на всех поверхностях или тщательную уборку (но все же уборка хорошая!)

Как и указывали некоторые гости, владелица заведения иногда в навязчивом формате предлагает местные развлечения. На мой взгляд, массаж предлагают дорогой (в 10 минутах на тук-туке в Унаватуне салонов много и цены ниже в 2 раза); тур на наблюдение за китами из Мириссы предлагали, даже не смотря что мы были не в сезон миграции (и шанс их увидеть в это время 0); в ювелирный магазин мы сами дошли (в 5 минутах пешком), хозяин и его семья весьма были доброжелательны и без каких либо доплат или чего-то ещё показали и рассказали нам много интересного; в связи с этим не понятно что предлагалось от отеля, кроме как получения комиссии за рекомендацию нам) Отель предлагает услуги трансфера, но будьте внимательны, 20000 ланкийских рупий за трансфер из аэропорта это дорого. Мы заказали такси сами обратно, на что хозяйка отчитала таксиста (я так и не понял за что), а потом ещё и предлагала такси за 10000 рупий, хотя из аэропорта мы добрались за 20000! Завтрак неплохой, как и еда в ресторане. Очень вкусно, цены адекватные. Будьте готовы, что это домашняя ланкийская кухня, вкусно, но может подойти не всем. Шум от дороги присутствует, по громкости не уступает шуму океана (но получается с разных сторон), но в ночное время движения почти нет - не мешает. Будьте готовы к тому, что ванные комнаты слабо изолированы в номерах друг от друга: это нормально слышать как падает крышка унитаза, кто то принимает душ или занимается своей гигиеной, пока вы находитесь в своей ванной комнате.

Le bruit de la route ultra passante derrière l’établissement nous a empêché de dormir toute la nuit, l’établissement était en travaux au rez de chaussée et nous n’avons eu de l’eau qu’à partir de 11h du matin. Ce n’était pas hyper comfort

Emplacement incroyable au bord de l'océan. On a du mal à se l'imaginer de prime abord car on arrive à côté d'une route très passante. Mais de l'autre côté, la vue est incroyable avec des tortues qui nagent littéralement au pied de l'hôtel. Nous avons été très bien reçus par les 3 sœurs qui tiennent l'établissement et qui sont très aimables. Bons équipements et bon petit déjeuner.

Les germanes que regenten l'allotjament són molt agradables i t'ajuden amb tot el que poden i més. Les vistes a la platja són molt relaxants i et permeten veure alguna tortuga si tens uns mica de sort.

Pot ser és una mica complicat de trobar l'allotjament, caldria un cartell amb més visibilitat

De ligging. Wat een droom! Prachtige locatie met privestrand. Tijdens het ontbijt zagen we 7 zeeschildpadden langszwemmen. Op loopafstand van een lagune waar je vanaf de kant allemaal zeeschildpadden kunt zien. Wat een super gastvrijheid! Ontzettend lieve en leuke zussen die de homestay runnen. Ze doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Ze maken heerlijk eten. Lekker bed en warme douche. Kamer met airco.

Honestly one of the best guesthouses we stayed at in our whole month in Sri Lanka! Perfect location where you can listen to the waves all night long! The rooms are so spacious, clean and modern! AC, WiFi and hot water all worked perfectly! Gorgeous family run this place & they are the loveliest people 🫶🏼 so so glad we stayed here!!!

We loved everything about this place. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. The AC and hot water worked well. The location was great, right by the beach. You can step out to the beach while having a tea. It’s just a quick walk to the natural pools and the turtle beach. Shashika and her family were very attentive. Food was great and they even went the extra mile to get us everything we wanted.

We booked here last minute for one night, the staff were very welcoming and super friendly!! The view on the water was absolutely stunning and amazing to wake up to. The staff greeted us with fresh coconuts! The room was basic but perfect for the nights sleep.

It truly is all about happiness. We had such a wonderful time there. The hospitality was remarkable, and the food was delightful. Everything was so well organized, and the level of care in customer service really made our experience special.. We’re absolutely thrilled to wish them an amazing future ahead! A huge thank you to them for everything they’ve done!

An incredible experience and warm welcome at Turtle Beach Talpe. This beautiful family made us feel at home and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and top class. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Delani is the chef and her food is freshly home cooked as you order. Best Sri Lankan curry and egg hoppers, best food in Talpe. Setting is right on the beach with palm trees and the ocean at your feet. Chilled beers. We hired their scooters and they arranged transfers for us. We only stayed 3 days but felt like family when we left. Shashika made sure everthing was well maintained and lovely cool airconditioned rooms. Perfect location. Thank you we hope we can come back soon.

The room and shared balcony with table and two seats and a view overlooking the sea,. Spacious shower room,and a big plus is the small fridge in the room.The Sri Lankan breakfast good. But don’t order the octopus for evening meal,it was like trying to eat rubber,it was inedible which the owner agreed but was still charged for it.

Given room that didn’t fit the description on Booking.com. It said balcony but was given a room below,we were allowed to switch after 3 days (stayed 5days)so much better and private.I would recommend you message them to make sure which room they will give you. Also when booking you secure the room with a credit card but when it comes to paying they only accept cash.And make sure you know the dollar to rupee rate,as the room is priced in dollars but you pay in rupee.The property is in a very noisy location with a very busy road at the back of the property(especially from some mad bus drivers who love blasting their horn for everything and everybody to get out their way) stayed five days because of the description on booking.com but three days would have been enough.

Had a fantastic stay. l! The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and offered stunning ocean views. The food was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The overall atmosphere was relaxing, perfect for a getaway. A couple of minor improvements could be made to the entrance since first impression is not so good, but overall, a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend!

Absolute good location directly at the beach! Very friendly landlords and a big and clean room. The Landlord makes very tasty Dinner and breakfast at his own small restaurant.

We chose this place because it was near our wedding location, and although it was a little further down, it was absolutely worth it and a short tuk-tuk ride to the main area. Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The ladies working there were fantastic - anything we needed or asked for, they made sure we had. We stayed in a newly renovated room, which were beautiful, and the views were simply stunning. Waking up with the water right on our doorstep was such a lovely experience. The chef was incredible, cooking anything we wanted at any time, and they were beyond accommodating. There were truly no downsides to this stay. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway right by the beach with wonderful staff, I would 100% recommend it. It's a family-run business, and the warmth and care they put into everything really made our stay special. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful little hotel right on a gorgeous beach. Spotless, recently renovated room with everything needed including kettle, fridge, hairdryer etc. Huge, modern bathroom. The best thing about this place apart from the view was the fabulous family who run it, nothing was too much to ask, always smiling and basically make your holiday better.

Be aware that there is a busy coastal road just behind the hotel which is very noisy. The water wasn’t hot when the weather wasn’t so good and the beds a bit hard.

The family who runs this property is so warm and welcoming! They are fantastic cooks and did everything they could to make sure that we had a great stay. They were so nice to my kids and always looked out for my mom with mobility restrictions. And nothing, nothing, beats the view that greeted us every morning, and the sound of the ocean lulling to sleep every night.

For the price, I really can't think of anything. I stayed at four star hotels all over Sri Lanka, but I'd rather be at Turtle Beach Talpe any day.

Firstly the family running the hotel is just amazing! They are friendly, accommodating and just lovely! Secondly, The location blew my mind every morning, the blue waters and views was just exceptional! Thirdly, the food that was made to order was simply delicious and the portions are huge, the special mango was also amazing! Dana surf school nearby is also a great day trip and the turtles at turtle beach was so awesome to see!!

We had an amazing three-night stay at Turtle Beach Talpe! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and the location directly on the beach is unbeatable – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean views. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming getaway.

The property is located in a nice location, right by the beach, which was nice. The room and bathroom was clean. The host Shashika was friendly.

There is no proper parking for a vehicle. We were offered parking in a land near the property, however, once we headed out at night, we were told this had been locked. Although we were offered an alternative location to park, we did not feel safe to take the car back there, and so we travelled in a three wheeler that night. The balcony was a shared balcony with all three available rooms and therefore privacy was limited. The bed could have been placed better to enjoy the view, however even so, we didn't feel comfortable having the doors open due to the privacy limitations, so we were mostly restricted to being indoors. We were quoted in $ on the site, and the conversion in LKR was made at a much higher rate than is currently prevailing, so we did not feel that the stay was value for money.

Turtle beach house is an oasis of beauty and peace! Super warm and available staff, right on the beach, bus stop just over the road and provided meals are delicious. Just regret to haven't discover this place before 🙏💖

The turtle beach apartment was one of the best experience in our trip! The room is in front of the beach with perfect view and nice balcony. But the highlight was the family that runs the hotel, they were all very kind and smiley! We had amazing conversations with Dinali and Sashika!! Also, they served us delicious traditional breakfast and dinner across the beach! Absolutely recommended!!

The hosts provided us with great food at our request. The location was excellent since we looked for a beach getaway for the family. We felt like home and the hosts made it very comfortable for all of us. We wish them all the very best and also would definitely visit them for a next visit during the season. If someone is travelling solo or with family and also look for a real Sri Lankan experience we would recommend the hosts. The location is also not far from the famous Natural Pools of Thalpe and you will be lucky enough to spot some turtles as well.

The owners are super friendly and very responsive. One of the sisters very kindly cooked me an incredible lunch, dinner and breakfast with a variety of local specialties and options. The room was over looking the beach which was really special.

There is traffic noise as it is next to busy road. Have suggested to owners to soundproof the bathroom.

Nice beach - small waves.. Even a child can swim safely. So that there is no disappointment when checking in, keep in mind that the rooms require repair (at least paint the walls). In the photo, the number looks better than it really is. There are no windows in the room, only a door. But the Beautiful beach is worth staying here.

This place was the worst place ive been to stay.

When we came there tried to call the owner 3 times but no answer and no call back. Property says there is parking but there wasnt any place to park car. Went inside but no one was there. Saw a room filled with junk near entrance. This kind of place shouldn't exist in booking.com as they just scam the tourists who comes to visit the area and have a good time. Also there prices are so high and no value for money. Would rae 0 out of 10.

We had three wonderful days in this absolutley beautiful place directly at the beach! From the first moment we felt welcome and like home. This Homestay runned by two lovely sisters who are very kind and helpful. Their kids are also very nice and they taught us how to play a srilankan board game (carrom). Everday we got delicious breakfast and dinner (homemade srilankan food) with an amazing view. Right in front of terrace you find a super nice and clean beach almost for your own. In the ocean you can see turtles taking a breath 🐢 We will definitely come back and can only recommend staying there!

Amazing location right on the beach front with pretty much your own private beach to swim in. Homestay managed by two lovely sisters and their sweet children which will cater and cook whatever you would like. I’ll definitely be back!!

The hotel is run by two charismatic sisters, and is located right at the ocean front.

The roof of the bathroom is a bit shed-like, and located next to the highway. Honking buses and tons of other sounds go right into the room. Also, the ceiling is not closed off, so you can hear the other rooms. When we were staying, there were many children (also from the owners) which caused a lot of noise. During our stay (January) the water level of the ocean was quite high, making it not possible to swim without walking quite a bit first. Then you will find some natural basins, not really beach like, but possible to bathe. Also we expected to maybe find some turtles (due to the name of the hotel), but because of the rough see this was not possible. We had dinner at the location, which was nice but also quite pricey. There are not any restaurants close by.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming place hosted by a family of incredibly kind and welcoming women. Their genuine warmth created a homey atmosphere that made our stay really special. The highlight, undoubtedly, were the Sri Lankan dishes cooked for us. The location, conveniently close to Galle, offered a good blend of proximity to Galle and the serenity of secluded beaches. Waking up in a clean and comfortable bedroom, complete with balconies allowed us to enjoy the sounds of waves and really relax!

Stay was really comfortable and family owners look after you well. Food was really tasty and they prepare to your pallete.

No words to describe this magical place!!! This is by far our best stay in Sri Lanka! Without doubt! From the first moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles from these amazing hosts! Throughout out stay they went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and to make us feel at home. We came as a guests and left as a friends! ❤️ You really have to love this family! The place itself has breathtaking view! It is right on the beach and basically you have private beach for yourself! Unique experience! Breakfast was delicious and hosts can also prepare on your demand fresh seafood! They can also organize boat trip on demand. ACs in bedrooms are really good and everything is very clean and tidy!

We really enjoyed our time at Turtle Beach. The location was great and we loved being able to sit at the bar overlooking the beach and watch the many turtles swimming in the ocean! The famy were so lovely and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The meals were so delicious, I highly recommend!
