La casa es hermosa, la naturaleza al rededor increible, El Guia del tour muy muy bueno, Keimer, un gran conocedor del cafè y ademas muy capaz con los ninos, consiguiò entretener a mis peques durante mas de tres horas.

Me cobraron El tour por mi hija de 6 annos, 50 Mil Cop, pero anteriormente por whatsapp me habian asegurado que mis dos hijos no pagarian. Deberia haber mas claridad EN Los mensajes a Los clientes, pues es algo desagradable que pasen cosas ASI a la hora de pagar la cuenta

La atención, las vistas, la paz, absolutamente TODO. La propietaria Gloria nos hizo sentir como en casa, muy amable, atenta, etc… si volviera al eje cafetero sin ninguna duda nos volveríamos a hospedar allí. Un 10/10! Todo esta tal y como sale en las fotos o mejor. Los desayunos estaban buenisimos y caseros.

Nos gusto absolutamente todo.

La ubicación era excelente

La cabana è un sogno per chi cerca un rifugio immerso nella natura. Gloria e John sono stati dei proprietari speciali, attenti a tutte le nostre esigenze. Possibili molti tour della zona (trekking e cittadine vicine) e anche il tour del caffè di Casa Laureles.

Nulla. È un posto magico in cui passare alcuni giorni immersi nella natura in maniera rustica e autentica. Prepararsi solo qualche provvista di scorta perché non c’è servizio di ristorazione (tranne la colazione) e la cittadina più vicina dista circa 15/20 minuti di Uber.

Wir waren direkt nach dem starken Erdbeben hier. In dieser schwierigen Situation für uns alle war die Familie des Hauses wahnsinnig herzlich! Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und waren sehr froh die chaotische Zeit hier zu verbringen. Das gesamte Gelände ist eine Kaffeefarm in einer wunderschönen, idyllischen Landschaft. Von hier aus kann man wunderschöne Sonnenauf- und untergänge beobachten. Durch die Felder und den nahe gelegenen Dschungel spazieren oder einfach die Seele baumeln lassen, währenddessen man in der Hängematte liegt. Es gibt ein tägliches Frühstück auf der gemeinsamen Terrasse und wann auch immer man etwas braucht, die Familie ist für einen da. Die Zimmer sind sehr hübsch eingerichtet, haben jedoch einige Schäden vom Erdbeben erhalten. Die wurden aber direkt bearbeiten, also bin ich mir sicher, dass bald wieder alles in Ordnung ist. Das Auto kann direkt vor dem Haus geparkt werden und man fährt ca. 20min nach Filandia, wenn man ein normales Auto hat. Mit einem 4x4 ist man sicherlich viel schneller. Man sollte auf jeden Fall mit Trinkwasser und Snacks bereits anreisen, wenn man dann nicht extra wieder zurück fahren möchte.

Die letzten 3km zur Unterkunft sind sehr mühsam. Es ist eine schmale unbefestigte Straße mit vielen Steinen und Schlaglöchern. Mit unserem normalen Mietwagen war die Strecke problemlos möglich, jedoch brauchten wir etwa 15min für dieses kurze Stück.

La gentillesse du personnel, le calme

Entorn únic, en una finca de cafè, on relaxar-se i gaudir de la natura. El personal, molt amable, en especial la Mari ens ha cuidat i fet el millor esmorzar. Sens dubte, repetiríem. El millor lloc on allotjar-se a l’eix cafeter a prop de Filandia.

L’únic punt negatiu és la carretera de terra per accedir-hi. Si llogueu un cotxe, que sigui un vehicle alt perquè està ple de pedres i sots.

Enplacement superbe, magnifique couché de soleil. Sans regret même s’il faut prendre pendant 17min une Willys collective pour aller à Filandia. Le village est également superbe avec une belle ambiance. On regrette d’avoir fait 2 nuits Salento et 2 nuits Filandia. On aurait dû passer 4 nuits à Filandia

La cercanía y lo auténtico que fue el lugar. Merece la pena adentrarse en la zona rural para salir de lo turístico y poder hacer un tour del café con poca gente o solos. La disponibilidad de la familia. Gloria es genial y te hace sentir como en casa

Carretera algo mala de unos 3km pero ya contábamos con ello. Poca oferta para cenar, pero nos hicieron lo que tenían. Está bien saberlo para que la gente se lleve algo de comida o vaya a Filandia a tomar algo.

La experiencia del tour del café!, que tiene un costo adicional de $50.000 por persona, vale completamente la pena. Gloria comparte con mucha pasión y sabiduría la historia de su sueño y explica todo el proceso del café, además de la filosofía de la finca, basada en una producción orgánica y sostenible. El recorrido por la finca también fue maravilloso. La persona encargada del cuidado de la finca nos explicó con mucho conocimiento el proceso de siembra y cultivo del café. Respondió todas nuestras preguntas con paciencia y su amabilidad y disposición hicieron que el recorrido fuera aún más especial. La vista del lugar es impresionante. Se respira mucha paz y tranquilidad; es un espacio ideal para desconectarse, relajarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza.

Cuando reservé una finca cafetera, mi expectativa era vivir una experiencia mucho más inmersiva en la cultura cafetera del Quindío. Me imaginaba hospedarme en una casa antigua tradicional, como las que aparecen en las fotos, sentir el movimiento de la cocina desde temprano, poder acercarme a ver cómo preparan el café, despertar con el sonido de las gallinas y experimentar la vida cotidiana de una finca. También esperaba espacios para compartir al final del día: conversar sobre la jornada en el cafetal, disfrutar de música tradicional y comida típica, y tener una mayor interacción con quienes viven y trabajan en la finca. Pero no nos invitaron a dentro de la casa que se ve en la foto y por la cual decidí hospedarme allí.

La finca es muy bonita y sus paisajes son maravillosos, la dueña muy querida.

La vía destapada para ir en vehículo, no está en muy buen estado, además es bastante retirado de filandia para acceder en la noche. Como recomendación, seria bueno que implementará servicio de alimentación en la tarde-noche, puesto que Filandia esta bastante retirado.

The coffee tour was particularly nice. Keimer , the guide, explained very gracefully the entire process. As the tour is offered only in Spanish, I translated the talk to my LT husband while he patiently waited. Gloria -farm owner- and Maria -housekeeper-, were extremely accommodating and polite. They helped us with each request we had and also sat and had a chat with us every time we met. I hope I can return some day. Thanks for the lovely time!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Hosts, Gloria, Jhon and Mari were so welcoming and help make the most of time spent on this small scale, organic coffee farm. The setting is idyllic, with a lovely spot to enjoy the incredible rural sunsets. Our room was beautifully renovated. We did the really interesting coffee tour with Keimer, plus the Cocora Valley and Salento with Jhon. This made life easy as we arrived by public transport. Filandia is a delight, so pretty and friendly - and with great views and restaurants.

Casa Laurales is part of a stunning estate where coffee is grown. The views are truly breathtaking, and the welcome is exceptionally warm. Each day, a different breakfast is freshly prepared, setting you up perfectly for the day ahead. The finca is just a stone’s throw from the charming town of Filandia and serves as an ideal base for exploring the Coffee Region. 5 stars.

El camino se hace un poquito largo (unos 3 km de destapada que está relativamente bien, con algunos pedacitos que hay que ir muy despacio para que no se golpee el carro (nosotros íbamos en un Nissan versa)

Precioso hotel muy acogedor cerca de Filandia. Ideal para alojarse si quieres visitar el eje cafetero y puedes realizar el mismo tour del café en la finca cafetera de Casa Laureles. El servicio y atención de Gloria y su equipo fueron excelentes. Totalmente recomendable.

Casa Laureles es un auténtico paraíso: el silencio, la comodidad de las instalaciones (la cama es un sueño, con 4 almohadas para que escojas la que mejor se adapte a tus necesidades), vives el café desde el comienzo y lo degustas cada mañana en el desayuno. No tuve necesidad de salir de la finca (ya había visitado otros sitios previamente y buscaba relax y estar cerca del café, y aquí se disfruta). Gloria es una mujer extraordinaria, simpática, agradable y te hace sentir como en casa; es admirable el negocio que ha levantado ella solita. María es un amor, me ha cuidado de maravilla preparándome lo que necesitaba con mucho mimo. Me ha dado mucha pena marcharme, pero confío en volver. Les tengo mucho cariño.

This is a largish finca which includes several accommodations, with a shared garden and outdoor breakfast facilities. We stayed in the three bedroom house depicted in the header. The house is very nice, I particularly liked the look from the outside. Inside it’s pretty spacious and nicely, but simply, furnished. The beds and pillows were pretty standard for Colombia ( on the hard side). It has two bathrooms, each with a shower, and a kitchen with a small fridge (which included waters/sodas for sale), a range and a toaster oven. There were chairs to sit n the veranda and a bench, but they weren’t particularly comfortable. The facility has a covered area with two hammocks which we enjoyed, but I would have liked one in my own veranda. You can hike down through the coffee bushes and check out the hummingbirds competing with butterflies and huge bees for the nectar of flowers in the property. The place is very relaxing (if you ignore the noise from motorcycles). Breakfast was generous and included some fruit in addition to the usual egg/arepa combo. We enjoyed meeting other guests at the beautiful breakfast table. The owner and staff were very friendly and attentive. But for the hot water issue, I’d stay here again. The property is situated 15 minutes out of town. The road, during the dry season at least, was rough but perfectly usable for a normal car. We lied the location.

I’ll be honest: I knew the house didn’t have hot water when I booked it. I read it on other reviews and this seems to be a common problem for properties in some areas. But I didn’t realize how much of an issue it would be until was there. I was hoping that the sun would heat up the water tank during the day, and the warmth of the air would make a room temperature shower comfortable. Alas, I was wrong. The water was cold and the air temperature washed warm enough to make a cold shower bearable. It’s a pity. They could solve this problem with a plug-n heater showerhead and then be worthy of a perfectly score. The other issue that I think they need to address is the lack of screens on windows and doors. Now, this is a common issue for Colombia, but at least one of our hotels had mesh on the windows. Without it, every time we opened doors or windows, but entered. I became well acquainted with a cute, but annoying type of flying beetle which liked to ht the walls while it zoomed around. Not the most relaxing way to go to sleep. And, of course, mosquitoes also took advantage. Finally, I think the property wasn’t a good value for just three of us - though it’d be a phenomenal value for seven people. All this said, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property and location. Staff were amazing and attentive. Traditional farm and unique experience. Close to the small town of Finlandia where you can spend the day and then be back to tranquility.

Casa Laureles è un posto magico. Le foto caricate sul sito corrispondono perfettamente alla realtà. Ogni stanza è arredata con gusto, pulita e immersa nella natura, dove si possono ammirare miriadi di colibrì e di altri volatili. Anche il personale è gentilissimo e super disponibile a risolvere ogni più piccola esigenza. Gloria è attiva 24h su 24h. Vi consiglio di provare il miele che proviene dal campo di sua sorella!

Gli unici lati negativi sono, da un lato, la difficoltà nel raggiungere la struttura (ma è il prezzo da pagare per potersi godere il silenzio e l’immersione totale nelle Fincas del Quindìo); dall’altro l’acqua calda che, purtroppo, non sempre funziona.

Casa Laureles is a real coffee hacienda in which the owner/host (Gloria) has set up some rooms & a small cottage for rental. Gloria is a kind person and an excellent host who is always available to help the people staying there. The place is quiet & nice, but the dirt (unpaved) road to reach the place is not the best. What I loved more was the singing birds in the early morning that wake you up around 6:00 AM.

As I mentioned, the property is in the country (about 3-4 miles from Filandia, the main town), and the road to reach Casa Laureles is not in good shape. If you drive, you need an SUV (4 X 4) to drive from town to the place.

The rooms were clean and nice, the house had everything we needed. Especially, the farm is so beautiful to take walks around to see the sunset for example.

We love this finca. Very green with a lot of trees, birds, and the house is simple but beautiful. Great experience, we wish we could have stayed longer. Gloria, the owner, made every effort to make us feel at home.

Great rural retreat for a peaceful stay. Close to Filandia. Beautiful views and immersed within nature. The bungalow was private and cozy. The farm has plenty of space and plantations to explore. We were greeted by Gloria which was an awesome host and even gave us a walkthrough of the farm and its history.

WiFi connection wasn't perfectly stable. The bungalow could have more curtains to stop sunlight coming in the morning.

Surrounded by nature, tranquil and amazing staff, I recommend to stay more than 1 night to fully enjoy this place.

The road from Filandia is not in good condition and it gets worse when it rains.

The location is perfect for nature lovers and travelers looking for a quiet farm stay. Gloria and Nohelia were incredibly warm and attentive hosts. I would 100% recommend the farm and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

A daily delight was waking up to fresh coffee brewing and an authentic homemade breakfast. The peaceful surroundings allowed us to savor Gloria’s brand of coffee while soaking in the stunning views. Casa Laureles, with an intimate and quaint feel, offers a beautiful hiking trail and opportunities for birdwatching, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers. Evenings spent on the porch, listening to the sounds of the forest, were tranquil and relaxing. If you’re looking for an immersive experience in nature with a genuine taste of local culture, I highly recommend Casa Laureles. I was also delighted to be able to purchase her coffee. We can’t wait to return!

I wish I would have stayed longer.

Our stay at Casa Laureles was unforgettable. Gloria is a wonderful person who makes everyone feel right at home. Her kindness and sweet smile, her delicious breakfasts every morning, the love and care she puts into everything from the rooms to the surroundings make Casa Laureles the very special place it is. The location is magical, worth spending some time enjoying the serenity of the finca and the surrounding area. In combination with the warm hospitality and the delicious coffee it makes it very hard to leave! We would highly recommend it and hope to return one day.

Mrs Gloria loves her land and she transmits that to the guests, also all of her recommendations are excellent (where to go). The breakfast was delicious and the coffee best of the best. Looking forward to our next visit to casa laureles.

Hermosa casa cafetera en Filandia. Nuestra habitación consistió en una cabaña donde descansamos y nos sentimos a gusto. En la mañana recibimos un buen café que disfrutamos en un pequeño balcón de la cabaña. El desayuno fue delicioso. La atención de Gloria muy buena. El lugar es tranquilo en medio de pasajes cafeteros y naturaleza. Lo único que podría ser un detalle, es la distancia hasta Filandia de 20 minutos en vehículo con un tramo largo en carretera despavimentada.

We rented the bungalow, it was very private and absolutely beautiful. A great place to enjoy the coffee region. Thank you Gloria for everything. We really enjoyed your beautiful farm!

No complaints whatsoever.

The property was beautiful. It’s an authentic working farm. The views were magnificent we loved the variety of fruits on property. We love the nature walk down to the brook.

It is a little bit far from the main road so you have to drive on the dirt road to get there. But I guess you can’t get that authentic experience closer to the road.

This was probably our best accomodation in Colombia. It's a little paradise in the beautiful countryside outside of Filandia - beautiful large garden with various birds flying around all the time (colibris, parrots, condors), stylish rooms and the best host Gloria who was super helpful with everything we needed.

maybe invest in a mosquito-net... this was the only thing that really bugged me, getting bitten by mosquitos and hunting them at night.
