The position was great to visit the area. The building was restored not that long ago and it is well maintained with its own identity. The fee bikes are useful and both breakfast and dinner were amazing. The laundry service was very useful

Le style chambre ambiance cabane, très chaleureux. La propreté et la gentillesse de l’hôte. Situé très proches rizières.

Le matelas était dur, j’aurai aimé un frigo pour avoir des boissons fraiches. Je trouve que c’est un peu isolé des restaurants surtout le soir bien que l’hôte nous propose de nous faire à manger. Wifi capricieux. Le coq qui chante la nuit.

What a wonderful place to stay. One of the nicest places I have stayed in Vietnam. Lim cooks the most delicious food and serves it with a smile. Perfect quiet location. Great bikes, maps and assistance.

Todo. El alojamiento es precioso, esta en una zona tranquila y rodeada de plantas. Cuando te despiertas lo ves todo verde des de la ventana. La habitación es amplia, la cama comoda y la ducha preciosa! Lim es encantadora y cocina muuuy rico! Tiene bicis que puedes usar, cafe, agua y te a disposición y te lava la ropa gratis 🥰 Todo esta pensado con detalle y mimo!

Lim is the best host! A really comfortable, restful stay at her homestay. My partner and I loved having Lim’s house as our base for exploring. She is an excellent cook, free bikes and laundry, and a comfy clean room. We enjoyed meeting other travelers at the stay who have visited Lim’s more than once. Hoping we come back again in the future.

La struttura è in una zona lontana dal centro, fuori dalla stradina ci si ritrova su una strada trafficata e non ci sono bar né ristoranti vicino. La camera è buia, la grande finestra vicino al letto della nostra camera affacciava su un pollaio con una rete divisoria, il gallo alla mattina ha iniziato a cantare alle 3 e non ha mai smesso. La camera non è insonorizzata e sentivamo distintamente i discorsi dei vicini, una coppia di inglesi a cui abbiamo chiesto di parlare più piano più volte ma con scarsi risultati. Dalla colazione ci aspettavamo molto di più viste le recensioni, invece ci hanno dato dei pancake e una marmellata un tipo di frutta e un caffè. La proprietaria ci ha spiegato che dovevamo chiedere noi cosa volevamo per colazione (senza sapere cosa si poteva avere) e che gli italiani di solito mangiano pancake.

Das Homestay ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet mit rustikalem Charme. Es steht jederzeit Trinkwasser, Tee und Kaffee zur verfügung, auch Fahrräder stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung und Lim ist ein aussergewöhnlich liebenswerter Gastgeber. Das besondere hier ist das leckere Dinnermenü das man abends bekommen kann, ich habe bisher in Vietnam noch nie so gut gegessen. Lim organisiert aus den Bus für die Weiterreise. Ich hab mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Lim's House is such a lovely place to stay. Everything feels so homely and comfortable. Lim is very friendly and accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ate there. The location is great, perfectly situated for walking nd cycling round the local area. The free bicycles are a lovely touch! It was very nice to cycle around through the beautiful countryside. Lim has created a very helpful website, with lots of information about the local area, including activities, transport advice and food recommendations. I'd highly recommend this beautiful homestay❤️

The experience we had with Lim does not align with lots of other reviews. She was not at all friendly or welcoming, in fact she was the most unhelpful host we had by far in 3 months of travel. Any questions were responded with look at the website. I guess we must have got her at a bad time because we were certainly polite to her. The people in the room next to us were disturbed so many times through the night due to the cockerels outside their window so I’d suggest before booking you clarify you are not booking that room. (Ear plugs are provided but apparently not sufficient due to the level of noise). Location - we booked this accommodation due to the great reviews of hospitality and food, however in hindsight, we’d have preferred to stay in one of the many guesthouses overlooking the rice fields. As stated the hospitality was verging on rudeness and unfortunately we were both very ill after eating at the guesthouse the night before. However, we of course can’t categorically say we were made ill by the food at Lim’s house, it may have been a coincidence as there seems to be no other reports of illness.

It was a very nice atmosphere, everything is very lovingly organised, many plants and beautiful decoration. The rooms are very comfortable, the bathroom is perfect. The food is incredibly good, prepared by Lim herself. Also for vegetarians there is a very good and varied selection. The owner was very flexible and kindly adjusted our booking, despite the fact that we arrived a day too early. There is free filtered water and a coffee and tea bar.

The rooms were very hot, despite the fact that there were fans. We missed an A/C as it was too hot for sleeping.

Propreté des lieux. Propreté de la chambre, salle de bain et serviettes de douche (odeur horrible). Coquerelle morte poussiéreuse dans notre chambre. Équipement non lavé (lavabo et toilette) Mauvaise odeur dans la salle de bain. Poussière partout dans la chambre qui n’est pas lavé entre les clients. Pire hébergements de tout notre séjour au Vietnam, ne vaut pas le prix demandé. Bref, un endroit à éviter.

Lim's a great cook and friendly host. The free laundry service and bikes were nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Had an exceptional stay at Lim's house: - Accomodation was really nicely and thoughtfully decorated. - Food (free breakfast and 150k for dinner) was SO tasty, would definitely recommend! The Nem Lụi in particular were incredible! - Lim and her family were super friendly, helpful and welcoming! - Free bike hire was fantastic and was a really good way of seeing the local area.

Not a dislike exactly, but would recommend that you choose a room with air conditioning (some rooms just have a fan) for the summer months as it can get quite hot without it! Lim very kindly let us upgrade to the air conditioned room for a small fee.

We loved staying at Lim's house! The house is gorgeous and we loved being surrounded by the community and welcomed by the local people. All the food cooked by Lim and her mum was delicious and she catered to my dietary requirements

Just off the main road in a quiet alley amongst a few houses; free bicycles to cycle easily to the nearby paddy fields, villages and town center. The place is homely with an attentive lady owner who helped with transport arrangements & others.

Mattress in room wasn’t comfortable for guest with weak back.

Leuke plek om een paar dagen te verblijven, Lim en haar moeder werken hard om het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Het is er altijd schoon en opgeruimd. De uitgebreide maaltijden waren de beste die ik in Vietnam gekregen heb.

L’emplacement est très idéal, la chambre est super propre. Café gratuit et machine à laver le linge gratuit! Assez rare au Vietnam! La famille Lim est adorable et respect notre espace.

Le lit était très dure mais ça va dépendre de la personne je pense. L’eau de la douche ne couler pas de manière régulière.

Alloggio completamente nuovo, pulizia eccezionale, la posizione, la possibilità di usare le bici gratuitamente, la proprietaria davvero gentilissima, la cena e la colazione (consiglio di mangiare lì perchè ne vale veramente la pena).

Letto matrimoniale un po’ troppo duro

Tolles Homestay (insgesamt 6 Zimmer), sauber, Zimmer mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Bestes Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen) in Vietnam. Kommen gerne wieder.

Alles tip top. Wer sich gerne weich bettet, muss sich an eine harte Matratze gewöhnen. Das geht aber problemlos.

Lim alleine ist schon eine Wahl dieser Unterkunft wert!!! Tolles Abendessen und Frühstück. Auch wenn die Zimmer klein sind, sie sind wunderschön eingerichtet.

Il règne une ambiance des plus agréables dans la maison de Lim. L'accueil est chaleureux , la décoration soignée et le souper fabuleux.

Dans une petite rue parallèle, au calme. Nous avons testé le petit-déjeuner et le dîner c'était vraiment très bons et copieux Thé et café à disposition. Je recommande cet établissement

Lim is a great host, welcoming, efficient with a great smiling personality. Our room had charm and character. Breakfasts and optional evening meals are exceptional and ample. Definitely recommend for a pleasant stay in Mai Chau.

Lim was incredibly helpful, dealing with various logistical issues, including arranging for a passport left in Hanoi to be returned to us for free via a local bus. She is extremely well connected in the area, and has a lot of interesting anecdotes about the place and her own very eventful life. The homestay was clean, beautiful and despite being very accessible, gave an idea of rural life in its location. Laundry service was included, and our clothes were returned in less than three hours. I highly recommend borrowing a bike (also free) and cycling the paths of the nearby rice paddies, an enjoyable hour. Complimentary breakfast was excellent (banana pancakes and wild local honey) and Lim prepares an unmissable evening meal with local ingredients, an absolute feast for about a fiver a head, with wonderful fresh flavours. Very happy customers, thank you to Lim and her family!

L accueil qui nous a été réservé était top, le sourire, la disponibilité, la gentillesse. Merci a vous. Le cadre est idyllique mais effectivement nous n' avions pas réalisé que nous étions un peu trop loin du centre pour sortir le soir.

Enige is dat je aan de eettafels niet comfortabel zit. Benen passen niet onder de tafel.

The accommodation is very homely and comfortable. It’s just off the main road but very quiet. Free bike access was a big bonus. I had a really lovely stay at Lim’s and I am still dreaming about the amazing tasty evening meals - the best food I had in Vietnam and I had a lot of great food! I would absolutely stay again.

Líbilo se nám všechno! Ubytování je naprosto bezkonkurenční. Paní Lim je moc sympatická, zábavná hostitelka a u večeře jsme se dokonce dozvěděli něco o jejím životě a o Vietnamské kultuře. Byla tam nádherná rodinná atmosféra, velmi čisto, krásné prostředí a gigantické porce výborného jídla. Nebylo co vytknout a je vidět, že si hostitelka při zařizování dala záležet. Velmi nás mrzelo, že jsme tam strávili pouze jeden den. Všem doporučujeme se zde ubytovat, protože je to nezapomenutelný zážitek!

Lim was a wonderful host, different breakfast and dinner every day. The homemade meals cooked by Lim were superb. Plenty of tea and coffees. Our room was quiet and clean, with a unique decore.

Wir haben 3 Nächte bei Lim in Mai Châu verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll, sehr urig eingerichtet und haben ein tolles Flair. Lim und Ihre Familie kochen jeden Abend und zum Frühstück aus frischen Lebensmitteln in herausragender Art und Weise. Wir liebten das Essen und haben uns jeden Tag schon auf den Abend gefreut, um wieder etwas Neues probieren zu können. Es war auf unserer 3 wöchigen Vietnamreise tatsächlich die einzige Unterkunft in der wir gegessen haben. ❤️ Leider haben wir die wahrscheinlich 3 kältesten Tage des gesamten Jahres erwischt, aber auch dafür gab es eine Lösung in Form eines Heizlüfters im Zimmer. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt und wir möchten Lim's Haus jedem wärmstens empfehlen. Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar! Abendessen kostete gerade mal 140.000VND/p.P. und war so reichlich, dass wir damit auch eine Person mehr satt bekommen hätten.

Ich schlafe schon gern sehr hart, aber ein Holzbett nur mit einem Topper drauf, ist schon etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ich konnte darauf schlafen, aber meiner Freundin war es leider viel zu hart.

Lim is an amazing host! Her house feels like home immediately. You can also feel that the house has been created with a lot of TLC and the energy is peaceful. The breakfasts and diners she provides are really really nice. Her English is good and she is an exceptional story teller. Very sad we had to leave but given the chance we will definitely be back! And you know what!? We loved the no TV, no karaoke, no heavy drinking vibe! Just what we were looking for. Till next time Lim. 🌼

Lim’s house is one of the most incredible places I have ever stayed. Her cooking is some of the best you will ever eat and Lim went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time possible, from connecting us to local guides and giving us recommendations for things to do. Comfy, clean rooms, and a really nice outdoor area close to the rice paddies. This place is perfect and I cannot recommend Lim’s house enough

LIM e sua madre gentili, e, non trascurabile, Lim parla inglese. Sempre a disposizione the e caffè, snack di riso buonissimi e banane squisite. Non perdetevi la loro cena, squisita, molto abbondante e ad un prezzo veramente competitivo. Approfittate anche del servizio lavanderia gratuito e super veloce. Insomma, non andate altrove!!

Great, relaxed common spaces to relax in. Lin is lovely - she offers free tea, coffee and snacks all day, as well as filtered water to refill water bottles. Her dinners are delicious and enormous and she makes her own jams and sauces. The breakfasts are great. There are also free bikes to use to ride around the rice fields and villages, which are nearby. Lin will also organize transport to anywhere without taking a cut.

Intermittent hot water was the only complaint, but it was a minor issue when everything else was so lovely. Would highly recommend.

Our stay at Lim’s homestay was absolutely excellent. It is located in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, perfect for relaxing. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the courtyard was truly beautiful and welcoming. Lim and her family were outstanding hosts — warm, kind, and always ready to help us with anything we needed. The true highlight of our stay, though, was the food: the breakfast and dinner that Lim prepared for us were absolutely delicious and made our experience unforgettable. We would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable stay.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits chez LIM'S HOUSE. Tout correspondait à la description de booking. L'endroit est agréable, apaisant et décoré avec beaucoup de soin. Lim et sa mère ont été adorables et aux petits soins. Nous avons pu avoir des vélos gratuitement pour découvrir Mai Châu. Le repas du soir est exceptionnel, nous avons adoré et le petit déjeuner était copieux et très bon. Nous recommandons fortement cet homestay.

Wonderful stay with lots of free extras (Water, coffee, bikes, laundry). You can also get lots of information from the website about transport and activities in the area. Clean and comfortable rooms with a very hot shower. Dinner and breakfast are excellent.
