Een prachtig uitzicht, keurig verzorgd complex, moderne kamers, thee,koffie, water en fruit op de kamers. Goed ontbijt en heerlijk zwembad met fantastische vijver met koi karpers. Host erg attent en behulpzaam!

Lugar súper acogedor, level up con los que tiene alrededor. Hoi es excelente anfitrión y te recomienda un montón de rutas. La habitación muy limpia y cómoda, la zona de comedor y piscina perfecta para relajarse y te dejan chanclas y toalla. Las inmediaciones perfectas para paseas, correr, hay pequeños restaurantes en walking distance y en el hotel también te dan comida y cena. Muchas tiendecitas en el pueblo y lugar para masajes. Puedes alquilar moto para ver toda la zona. Nos encantó!!

Lovely family run hotel opened just last year. We stayed in an ensuite first floor room overlooking the river and valley paddy fields with the mountains beyond. The husband and wife team, assisted by their great staff, provided exceptional service. The food (provided at any time of day) was of great quality with a focus on local cuisine. We had expert advice for hiking routes on our short stay and enthusiastic assistance in arranging our activities. Great base to explore the countryside

het uitzicht over de velden was prachtig, de avond gloed over het dal is prachtig. de communicatie met het hotel verliep ook super goed. De keuken maakt alles klaar wat je hen vraagt, en meer!

Eine wundervolle Unterkunft in mitten einer wunderschönen Landschaft. Es ist ein Familienbetrieb. Hoi und seine Familie sind sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker, die Zimmer sind schön und haben einen tollen Blick. Der Pool ist wunderwunderschön !! Für uns wurde eine Fahrt in den Norden organisiert - alles hat reibungslos funktioniert.

Great location, awesome staff

Conforme aux photos. Extrêmement dépaysant. Établissement situé dans un petit village calme. Pour la cuisine, prendre le temps de "pré-commander" les plats qui prennent du temps à cuisiner vaut vraiment le coup ! Les propriétaires de l'établissement sont extrêmement gentils et seront fiers de vous faire goûter leurs spécialités.

Tudo! A vista do hotel - tanto no espaço de refeições comuns como no quarto era absolutamente incrível! A piscina era muito agradável também! A localização perto do aluguer das bicicletas que permitem explorar a vila é ótima! A simpatia do senhor do staff que nos recebeu (infelizmente não ficamos com o nome) foi um também um enorme ponto forte! À saída ofereceram-nos umas pequenas peças de tapeçaria local o que foi incrível.

L'hôtel est magnifique, la piscine au bord de la rivière avec les poissons et apaisante. Le cours de cuisine était super et le repas délicieux. Le personnel était au petit soin. Tout était parfait pour passer un moment inoubliable

The owners and staff were amazing, very welcoming and friendly. My room was located on the second floor with views overlooking the rice fields(great sunset views), the room was very modern, clean and tidy with a great shower and a very comfortable bed. The pool was clean and refreshing, great to come back to after a day of riding, the restaurant has great food and drinks, I highly recommend. My room came with breakfast but as I was leaving early the staff were up before me to make a packed breakfast to go (this home stay got all the small details right, which makes your stay more welcoming, they even without asking put a cover on my motorbike so it was dry when I left early the next day) I would highly recommend staying here and will for sure be back!!

I couldn't fault anything.

Everything was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, new and clean. we had an amazing view from the rooms. Beautiful swiming pool and very nice sitting area near it. The breakfast was very good. most important to note, Hoi - the owner, was extremely nice and wellcoming! really made us feel at home.

The hosts are really friendly people, openly provide tips for activities in the area and also offer guide service for hikes etc. And they're amazing cooks too! We tried some Laos style cold beef, pork meat ball stew and great pho for breakfast. The house is a bit set back from the busier streets with touristy souvenirs.

The rooms were clean although the sheets were already a bit older, with permanent stains and holes. And some spider webs behind the bamboo cladding of the walls...

Nothing to dislike.

There are many homestays in Mai Chau but we were very happy to have chosen this one. It's in an idyllic spot on the edge of the village next to the rice paddies and a fish pond. , very lush and tropical. Our host was very friendly, informative and speaks great English and offers to guide various local treks, though there are plenty of walks you can do yourselves. All the food was fantastic and we took a cooking class while there with the host's wife , a trained chef.

This place is absolutely stunning. Hoi is by far the best host we’ve ever stayed with and I’m not exaggerating!! The friendliest, kindest man who couldn’t do enough for us. Gave recommendations, free tea, coffee and water, booked our next bus for us and looked after us so well. The property is also so cute and clean in the perfect spot to explore the cute village of Mai Chau, the valley, the rice fields and surrounding mountains. We wished we stayed longer and we will be staying here again when we return to Mai Chau one day.

The stuff was extremely friendly, I was in the constant touch with the host (as he was currently in a different city) and he gave me a lot of useful tips and helped me to arrange a scooter.

Amazing homestay! Hoi and his family were the greatest hosts. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and are so friendly. Hoi made many recommendations and helped us arrange tours, meals and transportation. The included daily breakfast was delicious, but you must try dinner at the accommodation! The rooms were clean and well located but the service and home atmosphere made this a magical place. Thanks so much Hoi!

Our host Hoi was just amazing. He gave us great recommendations for what we could do the next day and rented motorbikes for us. The recommendations were really awesome and a bit off the beaten path, so we didn't meet many other foreigners. Hoi speaks perfect english and will help you out with anything you ask him, like organizing a bus ride. Also he was very welcoming and invited us to drink some happy water (rice wine ;)) with him. We really enjoyed our time in Mai Chau and would love to come back.

Hoi and his family were so welcoming and helpful. He went above and beyond, from booking transport, giving us routes for cycling and walking into the higher hills. They even did some laundry for us! Facilities are great and so authentic and we learnt about Vietnamese history and culture. Food was superb too and we especially enjoyed our introduction to Happy Water!

This place is magic, in the middle between the village and rice fields, very close to all the attractions of the district. The house is the typical countryside vietnamese house, very clean and beautiful. The host family is very warm and kind, they help you with literaly everything you need. The food is great, as well as happy water which is a special liquor homemade. Hoi (the host guy) is also a tour guide and took us discovering the mountains with rice fields and showed us the real life of small comunities living there. You can also rent bikes and scooters to go all around the countryside. I highly recommend this place, it is the best to rest enjoy countryside and relax a little bit.

Very friendly host, genuine homestay

Mai Chau home was one of the absolute highlights of our trip through Vietnam. Hoi and his family were superhosts, the food was delicious, the location very central in the vallet to take off on hikes and the room had a scenic view of the mountains and rice paddies. I would highly recommend staying for some nights during your Vietnam!

After a long wet day on the motor, we were greeted with open arms and delicious tea by Hôi. The room was great and the family diner with the hot pot was wonderfull and reminded us of christmas. Thanks again for the warm welcome and wish you and your family the best!

Really nice homestay with comfortable rooms ! Owner and his family are really nice with a lot of tips around Mai Chau ;) We couldn’t try the food but it look delicious !

The host Hoi is amazing!! Took us on a daily walk in the mountains, to a lockable restaurant helped us with everything. The room was simple but very clean and the view is amazing!!!!

The host is super friendly, outgoing and speaks very good english. He welcomes you and makes your stay just perfect. He provided us with good tips, excellent food and delicious coffee. Also explained a lot about the countries history and drank happy water with us.

Mattress was a little bit hard, but still very good.

We had such an incredible time at Mai Chau Home! It was great to stay amongst the family, and we really enjoyed our room which had a beautiful room looking out over the rice paddies (there are other rooms downstairs too, if steep steps are challenging) and was very comfortable with the air conditioning as an escape from the heat. Hoi looked after us very well and is a very warm and generous host. We really appreciated his help booking our transfers from Hanoi too. We really appreciated the location on the edge of town, as it meant everything was close by, while also feeling secluded. We loved walking through the beautiful fields and riding bikes around the valley. (Big thank you to Hoi for helping us to hire some great bikes with gears and for the suggestions of where to explore!) If we had another day, we would have chosen one of the guided hike or bike trips on offer, but we'll save that for next time! We had great fun chatting to Hoi and we really loved the insight into village life he gave us. Another highlight were our dinners – they catered for my vegetarian diet so easily and thoughtfully. It was delicious! Oh and finally a mention for Mai Chau Home Design – which is their shop of beautiful hand made clothes a few doors down. Thank you Hoi and your family for such a fun and memorable stay!

Location

The room is very minimalistic. Not super clean. During our stay we were the only guests in the homestay (including dorms). Maybe if there were other people in the homestay it would have felt better. At evening time there was nobody around (staff or guests). I guess timing is everything, as other people really enjoyed their stay.

Hoi and his family are incredible hostesses. They took care of everything for us (tours, transportation, rentals, food, suggestions, questions!). Always willing to help, give suggestions and extremely good mooded and friendly. If you visit Mai Châu, this is definitely the place to stay. The spot of the homestay is lovely, located at the outskirts of the village, quiet and with very nice view of the mountains. The rooms are minimal and cosy.

We really loved everything about the stay. The host and his family are super eager to help with everything we asked, he gave us so many tips of what to do in the area and I want to highlight especially the awesome breakfast and dinner! We even extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much- we can fully recommend to stay here.

Nice and cozy rooms next to a small pond and rice fields. Not very close to the centre of the city, but that's an advantage. The owner is very helpful and speaks well english. Lovely breakfest included (the best we had in Vietnam for now).

A bit messy with finding of the location

We both really enjoyed our stay at Mai Chau Home. It really is a lovely place and everything was perfect, delicious home cooked food, great location, cozy bedrooms and the most welcoming family :) We also went on two hiking trips with Hoi which was a fantastic experience! Thank you so much!

very cute traditional stilt house! The room was clean and had a mosquito net. The person running the property, Hoi, is super helpful - with his advice and tours we were able to see a lot more amazing spots of Mai Chau.

The bathroom was very basic but not a big deal.
