This homestay was cozy and in a very central location despite being slightly off the main road. The host was super kind and helpful.
A mosquito net would have been nice but there weren’t many mosquitoes when we visited, so we had no issues.
Had the loveliest time staying with Nanay Ellen in her beautiful homestay just off the main road in Sagada. The room felt cosy and welcoming but really spacious and we had a great time!
Kind staff and clean room.
Not very accessible and the instructions to get to the location is kind of confusing. But there are kind locals that helped us find it.
Incredible. I ended up staying here 4 nights and then coming back. Host is so kind. Rooms are clean. Property is nestled in the peaceful spot just a couple hundred metres from the main road
Cozy place in the middle of Sagada, the owner is kind and will give you all attention and details about Sagada
Friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, coffee/instant noodles available at a very affordable price
Dogs from the neighborhood are too noisy (even at the middle of th enight)
Super nice and cosy family Homestay. Great location in a quit corner, 50m from the main road. Most importantly super nice and helpful host- she is great and makes every stay a bit special
Best place in sagada
cute little place
I loved my stay! The room was small and cozy, perfect for 1 person. The hosts were super welcoming and friendly. I felt home immediately. Everything is very clean. I could not wish for anything more. Would always stay there again and again and again.
This accommodation was exactly as portrayed-a homestay. It was in a very friendly home with a welcoming host. And was located a short walk off the Main Street in a local community.
A handbasin within the bathroom instead of kitchen area would have been a bit more private. Understand though that this is a home stay and not set up originally as a place of accommodation.
Tout. Jolie chambre boisée, confortable, propre, hôte super accueillante et aux petits soins. Bien localisé. Possibilité d’utilisation de la cuisine. Super rapport qualité /prix. J’ai passé un séjour super agréable

Simple homestay in Sagada, basic but well maintained and clean. Nani was very warm and welcoming. Free tea, coffee and water available along with cooking facilities. Laundry service also provided if needed.
Nothing
Außen Wellblechhütte - innen sehr schön gemacht.
Private Bathroom bedeutet eine Toilette auf dem Dach. Wasser nur lauwarm.
Nanai was lovely, great and helpful, whenever I had a question. I also got breakfast before a hike.
Nana Eileen is very welcoming and the place is cosy and sweet.
Très bien placé, accueil charmant et bons conseils, une très bonne adresse !
Zentrale Lage. Sehr sauber.
スタッフがとても良い方でした!
シャワーの水圧が弱かった。
The lady who owned it was nice and very helpful. The bed was comfortable, and it was a nice stay.
Be aware that the room is on the second floor and the bathroom is on the first floor. Nobody was there when I got there so I had to wait a while before I could check in. It rained a lot, but it was monsoon season and there was a typhoon (but not the fault of the place, just be aware that there is a very wet season).
Ang bait ni Nanay and welcoming. Also, she accommodated our request for early check-in since wala naman ibang guest that time.
Very clean, friendly owner, very accommodating, near the tourist office
Water supply has not arrived that day
We felt like home.
They have windows that can't be completely closed so mosquitos get i all the time. No mosquito net availible. So don't expect to have a peacefull sleep here.
Great location, clean and well-maintained but my biggest takeaway was how accomodating Nanay Ellen and the owner were. It was definitely one of my best stay. Thank You.
I love the place, the hosts and the location. Definitely recommended to my family and friends!
The owner was generous and let us check in early instead of the standard PM check-in and she also allowed us to stay extra longer without additional payment before leaving. The homestay was like home away from home.
The door was not locked at night (sometimes) but could have been fastened just to make sure. While the room was simple and tidy for me and my husband, we could have chosen a room that has its own toilet for faster and convenient movement especially in the wee hours (we are on the 2nd floor).
Gorgeous home, spotlessly clean, friendly owner. It was very comfortable, lovely place.
Location is quiet enough to let you rest after exploring their beautiful sites. Very hospitable hosts, very warm people together with their house pets. Spacious room with enough windows for sunlight, comfortable beds and free use of bath towel.
Friendly host, made us feel at home.
Hard to get to from parking lot, especially with big suitcases. Suggest travelling light if staying here as you'd be carrying your suitcases up a few stairs.
- Nanay Helen and her daughter Bogan are really nice and welcoming. Great hospitality. Nanay Helen shared the breakfst with us. We filled at home my brother and I :) - Location is perfect close to everything (coffee, resto, tourist agency and caves) but in a calm residential street away from the main road - bed super comfy - cozy home traditionally made with pinewood - water tank refill
Nothing
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT: I loved the location, the village Sagada itself is peaceful. Bogan, the daughter, and her mother were nice and helpful. The common area and kitchen were clean and very pleasant to use. The room is super comfortable. I highly recommend the Caves Connection circuit !
The shower & restroom area could be improved but that was not a major inconvenience at all.
The owners were helpful and friendly! Great wifi and location. This was a great Homestay. Everyone that comes to Sagada should stay here. It’s one of the best “bang for your buck” homestays that I’ve found in the Philippines!
House was really clean and the hostess (sorry I forgot your name!) was extremely accomodating and helpful! Will stay again if I get the chance.
Parking qas a bit tough to find. There are a few parking lots around the area which will take 2 mins to get to the accomodation or up to a 7 min walk to the accomodation from the main road.
It's a bit further than I expected from the town center, but I appreciate the quiet atmosphere, and the warm staff that gave a few tips to make my solo trip more memorable
Nothing really related to the accommodation, more on the path to get there. I know I can handle myself with certain obstacles like grumbling dogs and narrow walkways, but I understand that this is beyond the control of the staff. I might have missed it if there was one onsite, but it would be nice if there's a boot bath or something that I could clean my footwear.
Very clean and comfy, close from the main street, quiet and the lady leaving there is super nice a real guest house !

Nanay Elen is very hospitable and always willing to help with my problems during my stay.
Ellen the host Location
Great accommodation option in Sagada with friendly staff and a nice communal area to hang out downstairs! Lovely stay.
The location was a bit of a walk in the rain for me - but actually not that far at all (on a good day!) :) Annoying and slightly scary dogs but the small shop on the way to the guesthouse.
Ellen the owner is welcoming and always looking out for in a caring manner especially being a solo female traveller
The property was great well signed on the main street but a sign on the gate would be beneficial
It has a great location which is really convenient to visit museum, the church and good restaurants. There is a souvenir shop in front of the homestay.
A bit un convenient if you have car.
Especialy the owners were lovely.. Had an amazing time there and felt very welcome to say the least ! I def recommend booking a tour thru them and of course also stay with them !
we very much liked the ambiance and caretaking of the property. It’s a super clean, quiet, nicely decorated homestay with good wifi, a good bed and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!
Thanks a lot for the amazing stay! The place is very tidy and cozy! Nanai, who will welcome you, is very discrete and professional. When I woke up there were some pancakes ready which she offered me, even though they were not included :) we also had some tea and fruit together while talking. I really enjoyed spending my time at your place Nanai, for sure, if again in Sagada, I will come back to you! Very recommended to everyone!
Nothing, it was all great!
Water supply of the shower is poor
Plenty of room. Full kitchen to cook. Ellen is very nice and accommodating. Good value.
Towels could use an upgrade.
Rustic and cosy interior, lovely woman who runs it, set in garden and we tried some home grown passion fruit :)
A little cold, more blankets would’ve been great. Loud with the roosters outside at 4am (nothing the hostel is responsible for of course).
Very nice host.
Thank you to Nanay Helen for looking after me. I felt like I was home away from home. The place is very close to everything, yet still nicely tucked away. My experience in Sagada was intensified by the generous time that Nanay Helen gave me to tell me about her journey as an Igorot. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. I hope to be back.
Nanay is perfect host, very welcoming and helpful. Location is central- just 2 mins walk off the main road with tour operators, shops and restaurants, 10 mins walk to the bus stop. Room was smaller but comfortable, you can use kitchen and even toiletries are provided.
It's very comfortable, it feels like home.
Only the pathway going to there.
Peaceful and quiet environment
Location is good. It is near to the bus station and restaurants. It is very clean. The owner definitely takes good care of it.
Clean, comfy bed
No wifi, phone signal weak, a bit distance from the center
The owner was a very helpful and kind person! The village is amazing and you can do a lot of tours which are collectively organized. The homestay is very cozy and comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay and will come back if we're in the area!
“MS. Ellen” she is very accommodating person and very helpful person 😭😭😭 Uh I miss Ms.Ellen ❤️
The ambiance and the location of the house is very peaceful and no one can disturbed you except the insect 😊😊😊
The place is so clean and quiet.
Maybe the alley going to the place.
Nanai Ellen was the best. She helped me to organize different tours with guides. We went together to the market which was really nice and it was also nice to meet other travellers there. <3
Very clean. Very accommodating host. :)
Toilet and shower
Nanay Edith was so accommodating.
Quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to stay. Nanay will take care of you! You get a room, towel, and use of their kitchen. Also, there's a place to charge your device in your room. Location is close to eateries and a short uphill walk to the tourism office where you need to register and get info on tours. Honestly, for a backpacker, it meets most if not all your needs!
It's a little scary to walk back at night. Beware of the street dogs!!!! Also, no WiFi for those looking for a connection in the mountains.
I had a very cozy stay at this traditional Sagada house. I think it's well worth the stay esp for the price. There were two shared bathrooms and a good a mount of shared space in the form of the kitchen and living room.
The bed was firm, it would've been nice if it was softer. There was no washing machine, which shouldn't be a problem if you're just staying for a short while.
The vibe was very nice Was clean Excellent value for money
Check in can be tricky to get hold of the owner A little bit further down from most places but it's not that far really
There is no wifi here and it's a bit of a walk away but that is what I wanted. The host cooked us pancit.
I think it's quite pricey the fact that there is no internet and its a walk away.
Nana Helen is super helpful, and the place is ok and the host is great
the thing its that there's no wifi and there are lots of cockroaches and spiders (the place is clean but it's like a rural are so i guess it's kinda normal to have this insects around) but still it's not great to see it.
Beautiful homestay with a kind and helpful host. Nice location a few minutes from town center.
Nothing
Nanay Helen is very pleasant with her guests and the place is near to all..just walking distance from saggas out tour guide..
Pathway towards the homestay no lights
Décoration, friendly and calm
Nice landlady and good location. Room was basic but good
To get to the house there was a small alley with a lot of dogs (and their poo) Their was also a 10 o clock curfew an a no drinking policy. Not a problem for me but it might be convenient if that was mentioned on booking. All in all i had a nice stay and sagada is beautifull
