坂をのぼった静かなエリアにある。 朝ごはんはなかったが、周りに何件か食事できるところもあるし、パン屋もくるので困らない。 こじんまりで清潔。お庭も素敵だった。 宿泊料金がお手頃。

ランドリーサービスをお願いしたら、すごく匂いのきつい柔軟剤を使われて匂いが染みついてしまった。 日中でも部屋が暗い。

Nette Unterkunft, etwas außerhalb vom Trubel. Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel und vor Ort hat man Wäscheservice und Scooter Verleih.

If you’re planing to go to Hiriketiya this is the place to stay !!! Such a beautiful property with the loviest hosts. The room we booked was listed as a budget double room however there was nothing budget about it. Myself and my boyfriend have been travelling Sri Lanka for over a month now and this is one of the best places we have stayed !! The bed was so comfortable, the room was so clean and the view we had from our balcony was absolutely beautiful. The location is small walk to everything too. We can’t recommend this place enough!! We will be back.

It’s was a bit of a walk to the beach however a very scenic one.

Lovely guesthouse with very welcoming hosts! Room was comfortable with very good AC and the property was quiet despite its close location to busy Hiriketiya. Great value for money, would definitely stay again! Hosts welcomed us during New Year celebrations which was a very special touch.

Die Wohnanlage und die Zimmer sind auf dem neuesten Stand und sehr gepflegt. Zum Strand und den Hotspots sind es nur wenige Minuten.

This was the nicest place that we stayed in. The staff were lovely, the room was fantastic, the location suited us perfectly. A nice walk to the centre of things, but peaceful where we were. A lovely restaurant called Freedom restaurant just opposite did fantastic food too.

We were kicked out a day early and told to pay in cash, the owner then cancelled our booking and told booking dot com that we never even stayed there. Popular scam in Sri lanka

Okay location, a little out of the way but only a 10 min walk to busy centre. Comfortable beds, nice and clean and a lovely family who look after the place. Lots of Wildlife around the garden area, especially monkeys.

A swimming pool would be a great investment.

The room was clean and everything was tidy but the bed was in the middle of the room which filled the entire room and there was barely space to move around it. The bathroom on the other hand was spacious and clean and the basic amenities were provided. There was a common pantry area where you could make tea and water etc, which was quite convenient. Before arrival, we were informed about the methods of payment when inquiring. Both cash and card payments are available. Since I didn't have enough cash, I had to pay by card and they explained beforehand that they charge 3% convenient fee. FYI the CBSL (Central Bank of Sri Lanka) explicitly prohibits merchants and has made it illegal to add a 3% surcharge to card transactions.

The room was cramped as the bed filled almost the entire room. There could have been more racks to hang things but then again there's the issue of space.

Gorgeous accommodation, much nicer than we expected or what is pictured. Room was very clean, bathroom was very modern. A bit of a walk to Hiriketiya beach/town but was a nice quiet walk. Wouldn't recommend to walk it solo as it is not central and it is a quiet walk. Would definitely recommend staying here, we liked it so much we extended our stay!

The towels could do with being replaced, they were threadbare but otherwise everything was great!

The rooms were very clean, the staff and the owner very friendly. The rooms had air-conditioning and ceiling fan. The room was equipped with shampoo and body wash with fantastic aroma. There was also filtered water for free. They also provided is with a power adapter

The luck of the sieve in the windows, and I would prefer if more hangers were in the room outside the closet.

Die Besitzerfamilie hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und war während des ganzen Aufenthalts freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel war wirklich gut durchdacht und gut ausgestattet. Der Aussenbereich ist angenehm, und vor den Zimmern gibt es einen Wasserspender sowie einen Kühlschrank. Praktisch fanden wir auch, dass man Schnorchel-Equipment und Scooter ausleihen kann. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Die Kissen waren uns persönlich etwas zu hart, das ist jedoch Geschmackssache.

Loved how clean & quiet it was. Close to centre of Hiri but just so peaceful. Best sleep I have had on the island. Great communication with host & can tell they really care about the guest experience. Provide great toiletries. Also bathroom was IMMACULATE & smelt clean (zero mould) There was a small kitchenette area with a really powerful fridge / freezer. Great WiFi as well. Safe for solo travellers & families with young kids

Couldn’t find anything major, highly recommend. A small shelf in bathroom would be useful but so minor 🙂

Super clean room in very nice ambient

De locatie van Peak House was erg goed. Het is een fijn huis en we mochten kiezen welke kamer we wilde, omdat we de enige waren. De eigenaren waren vriendelijk en we mochten onze tassen laten staan, zodat we nog naar het strand konden.

De deuren stonden overdag open bij de plek waar wij na het uitchecken de tassen hadden neergezet en er zijn toen allemaal rode mieren in mijn tas gekomen. Wellicht vragen of de deuren dicht kunnen om dit te voorkomen.

Its very close to most of the restaurants and huts in the area. The rooms were clean and owner was very polite.

We stayed 2 nights at peak house and the sweet family took good care of us. We did our laundry there for a good price too. The place is a bit out of the hiriketya town and half way to the blue beach, which we liked most. We had our own tuktuk so it was easy to move around. we were in the newer building which was very clean and comfortable, but sadly it is not next to the garden so we couldn't enjoy the garden while our child was sleeping.

The bed was very comfortable and the place has nice aesthetic. Aircon was very needed in the room and works well, bed also has a mosquito net which we came to appreciate. Overall room itself was spacious and nice.

The common spaces look nice in the photos but are massively overrun by mosquitos and there is nothing to help. No fans, nothing. Even covered in repellant we were often swarmed and couldn’t sit out there for long day or night. Host wasn’t the most friendly. When reading outside for a bit, host started vacuuming his car right in front for an hour which killed the atmosphere. Few other small things like this detracted from overall enjoyment.

Perfect place to stay if you wanna sleep quietly and still be close to Herikiteya Beach. Amazingly friendly souls that take care of any of your needs. The relaxed vibe made us stay 8 nights in total. We felt at home, away from home. Hopefully, we meet again one day. Cheers Tommy & Marthe

On arrival we felt really welcome and looked after. Our room wasn’t ready as we were early but they let us relax and get changed after our travels. Simple rooms, but that’s all we wanted. Hot shower, everything was really clean and lovely bit outside to relax. Short walk into the Bay area and monkeys on the way!

This home stay was really nice, the staff really friendly. Very secluded and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay :)

Room was comfortable and clean, facilities to make coffee, check in flexible, friendly hosts.

Laundry service returned clothes still damp, for 600 LKR per kg we would have expected tumble dryer to have been used.

This place was so so so clean, also pretty quiet compared to other places in Hiriketiya. Just the basics but it has all you’d need for a vacation at the beach. No « cool surf-people » vibes, just lovely « have a rest and enjoy » vibes, which is a relief as I seriously can’t take the avocado-toast preachy digital nomads anymore.

The walk back is not well-lit and as a solo girly I was walking really quickly, even though literally nothing creepy happened. Get a pal to walk with you!

- A lovely family own this place and it shows. - Room was very clean. - Filtered water offered in communal area. - Bed was very comfortable and clean. - Washing lines available to dry damp clothes.

- Towels need to be refreshed and smell musty. Owner happy to change if you ask. - More facilities should be offered in the room itself, like toiletries. - No local shops nearby, have to walk to town each time. - Bathroom needs an extractor fan. Slight smell of damp but will definitely get worse if nothing done soon! - A little noisy (animals) in the early hours of the morning. - No breakfast offered. - Clothes left outside to dry don’t smell clean, as the nearby properties burn rubbish at night and it seeps into clothes.

I guess I expected our room would be on the ground floor, in the building from the main photo. Room very basic, small and not offering much. I would be good to have a mirror, or other furniture, like comfy chair or bench to put bags on. There were 2 chairs to sit on balcony, but it was too hot and sunny there, and the chairs (those in kitchen too) weren't very comfortable

The room was comfortable and bright. The bathroom was big, clean, and functional. There was a kettle in the communal part of the house. The bed was big and comfortable. The room had birth fan and Aircon It is in a quiet part of Hiriketiya and is short distance from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. The owner/son was very helpful

Loved our stay here. The room was big and very clean. Had tea, coffee, kettle, water cooler and fridge. On a quiet street. Property is 15 min walk to main beach. We stay here again, host family was lovely.

Short walk to town (about 15 mins) walking across beach and water. Longer walk or tuk tuk if you want to avoid getting your feet wet! Properties more central are a higher price :) I would 100% choose peak house again :)

Lovely, peaceful and quiet spot. A good distance from the town. Enough to be in nature and close enough to walk easily. High quality room and spotlessly clean.

We really enjoyed the terrace and garden and the peacefull environment. The room was big enough, drinking water available, nice host. You also have a possibility to prepare your own meal.

It is a bit further from the center and beach but still it is totally worth it. We would go there again!:)

It is a very nice place to stay. The property is super clean and well-maintained. Although it is a little distance from the Hirikitya buzz, that’s what makes the place calm and relaxing. The owners are also very friendly. I highly recommend it!

I liked the room, clean and super newly renovated. The host family was super friendly and they were offering many services (laundry, Tuk Tuk calling and moto rent) The property was immersed in the nature.

The location was fine but it’s not super close to the main attractions of Hiriketiya and the road to come back, especially by night, might be a bit scary.

Very tasteful, clean, good quality rooms in a lovely garden with flowers, I saw peacocks and langurs in the garden and monitor lizards on the walk to Hiriketiya beach. The location is halfway between two beaches and ten minutes walk to each one. There are nice two local places to eat directly opposite on the same lane. Property is kept very clean and tidy by efficient management. Tea and coffee making facilities available as well as fridge freezer and filtered water which is free. The AC is excellent, shower is excellent and WiFi is decent enough.

Our stay was very lovely at Peak house, the rooms and property is very well looked after and modern and the owners were very accommodation when we only originally booked for one night and then stayed for an extra two. They also helped us book tuk tuks when needed and always made sure we were comfy

We want to keep this place secret! It has been our favourite stay in our Sri Lankan travels. The rooms are simple and nicely designed. We love the fact that there is always filtered water available cutting down on plastic and helping the environment. It is worth mentioning that everywhere is immaculately clean and the owner washes the common areas and garden every day. The garden is a little haven full of wonderful plants and wildlife. We loved the location up the hill on the quiet side of the bay, it felt like you were part of village life. The family are so kind and welcoming we can’t wait to return.

Great place to stay in Hiriketiya. Location is good, nice walk down to the beach and close to lots of restaurants. Room was so comfortable and clean with great a/c and mosquito net. Great that they have a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.
