For a stop over before our Ella train ride it was perfect. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the two young people who checked us in were so lovely it was a nice warm greeting after a long car ride. The view from the balcony was a bonus. The staff seemed to have put a lot of care into the place.

This place did the job, no negatives it's a budget place and they've done extraordinary well.

Mosche morte e vive, capelli ovunque, lenzuola sporche, pavimenti unti o bagnati, tende piene di macchie disgustose, muffa su tutte le pareti e nelle camere non si respirava. Le stanze sono cosi gelide e umide che i vestiti negli zaini erano bagnati e soprattutto ci siamo svegliati tutti con il raffreddore e il mal di gola. Una delle porte era rotta e non si chiudeva.

We had an excellent stay. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all necessary facilities. The view was pleasant, and the staff provided courteous and friendly service. The property is conveniently located near the town area, with easy access to major visiting places. We would gladly recommend this accommodation.

No había agua caliente y es una zona en la que hace mucho frío. Solo una manta y la cama bastante incomoda

Esta muy cerca de la estación de tren de Nanu Oya y el personal muy atento.

Es una casa donde te alquilan una habitación (por eso cuesta 11€). Es una zona muy alta donde hace mucho frío y el baño no tiene agua caliente…en general el baño no daba muy buena impresión (muchas humedades por las paredes tambien). Nos tocó la habitación de abajo y se escucha todo lo que hablan o cualquier mínimo movimiento del comedor, algo a tener en cuenta para la hora de dormir.

In a lovely location, good size rooms and close to train station only stayed for one night and visited the waterfall before taking the train.

The location of property is good, if you are looking for a peaceful stay away from city with scenic views.

Cleanliness needs improvement. Also there needs to be a mirror in bedroom.

A Cozy Little Home with a Breathtaking View 🌸 I really loved this place! The first thing that caught my attention was the little lawn with all the colorful flowers. It made the whole place feel so warm, peaceful, and welcoming. On our first day, we stayed on the first floor, which had a lovely view of the lawn and some beautiful mountain views from the window. I especially loved the style of the windows — they gave me such an old-town, vintage building vibe. The whole house is incredibly cozy and aesthetic, almost like a charming old British-style home. On the second day, we moved to the second floor with a balcony, and I must say — the view and the environment were 100/100 breathtaking! I could have stayed there just enjoying the view and atmosphere. The little receptionist boy was also really sweet and kind of cute 😁. And the aunty was so kind and caring, especially the way she looked after my baby. That honestly warmed my heart. ❤️ Everything about our stay was wonderful. I genuinely wished we could have stayed there for many more days instead of just two. I really didn't want to leave! Definitely one of the most cozy and beautiful stays of our trip. Highly recommended!

Location is great to go to the train station by foot. Shower was nice

There is so much mold in the room. You can smell it so bad. Also a lot of damp. Really bad hygiene. The bedsheets also dirty!!

Zimmer muffig und unschön und nicht sehr sauber.

+ Lage sehr gut, da der Bahnhof nur 5 min zu Fuß entfernt war + freundliches Personal + durften das Zimmer tauschen, da das normale Doppelzimmer nach Abfluss roch, Spinnenweben usw. waren ( Zimmer Deluxe war somit für eine Nacht in Ordnung, dennoch Schimmel im Bad, welches aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit entsteht, alles roch dennoch motrig) * Ausblick auf die Landschaft war auch schön

- Schimmel - Gestank nach Abfluss, Muffig - keine Restaurants in der Nähe

Das Personal war super freundlich und hat uns ein TukTuk nach Nuwara Eliya organisiert. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Ich schreibe wirklich sehr sehr selten schlechte Bewertungen aber vor dieser Unterkunft muss man leider warnen. Sowohl auf Booking als auch auf Google sieht das Hotel wirklich super schön aus und auch die Rezensionen sind durchweg positiv (was wir leider überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen können)! Wir haben uns sehr gefreut für diesen Preis so eine tolle Unterkunft gefunden zu haben und waren extrem schockiert als wir ankamen. Das komplette Zimmer war von Schimmel befallen (siehe Bilder), es war alles feucht und klamm (Bett, Kopfkissen, Handtücher,…) und es roch total modrig. Das war wirklich die schlechteste Unterkunft die wir auf unserer 3 wöchigen Reise bisher hatten und wir sind sehr froh gewesen, dass wir nur eine Nacht gebucht hatten. Die Nacht war furchtbar, es gab nur eine Kuscheldecke zum schlafen (von der wir stark bezweifeln dass sie nach jedem Gast gewaschen wird) und wir haben die komplette Nacht so sehr gefroren obwohl wir bereits eine lange leggings, Socken und Pulli anhatten. Wir fanden es auch blöd, dass man bereits bei Ankunft zahlen musste, dadurch haben wir dann als wir das Zimmer gesehen haben uns nicht mehr getraut zu sagen „wir möchten unser Geld zurück“ sondern haben es einfach hingenommen. Hätten wir noch nicht gezahlt wären wir sofort wieder gefahren! Ich hoffe die Zimmer werden bald renoviert, dann wäre es nämlich wirklich toll! So können wir es leider absolut nicht weiterempfehlen!

Fantastic location. Close to the train station, bus stop and lots of walks around tea estates. When the weather is good, the views from the balcony are stunning. The bed was comfortable and the blankets were nice and cosy as it got cold at night. The shower was very powerful and lovely and warm. The room was good value for money. The staff were so friendly and really helpful.

I assume it’s because of the weather so must be difficult to control, but the property suffers with damp. It had been painted over, but in my deluxe room there was quite a few black mould spots, especially around the windows, in the bathroom and on the doors. I was only there for two nights, but something to be aware of depending on the time of year you come and how long you are staying.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Nanu Oya train station, making it a great choice if you are travelling by train. It is also within easy reach of Nuwara Eliya. The hosts were very friendly, kind and helpful. Whenever we needed transportation by tuk-tuk, they immediately arranged a driver to come and pick us up, which we really appreciated.

The room felt quite damp and overall a little neglected and in need of some maintenance. Unfortunately, the towels were also damp and had a noticeable musty smell, which made our stay less comfortable. Overall, the location is extremely convenient and the hosts are lovely and helpful, but the room would benefit from better maintenance and attention to the humidity and cleanliness.

Op onze vraag of we de volgende morgen ontbijt konden krijgen, weed niet meer gereageerd.

Het is dichtbij het treinstation. Het was erg schoon en personeel wat erg behulpzaam. Ook het bed lag prima, wat in Sri Lanka niet vanzelfsprekend is voor lange mensen als ik. Voor de prijs is het prima.

Wij hadden de kamer beneden en die is erg gehorig. Ook de wifi was erg onstabiel. Er was vooral voor de rest niks te doen in de avond.

De kamer is ruim en vlak naast het station Nanu Oya. Perfect voor een overnachting voor je op de trein stapt. Naast het hotel zijn kleine eetstalletjes.

Het tweepersoonsbed was klein en hard.

Tambien llegamos antes del checkin y muy amablemente nos guaradaron mas mochilas e intentaron tener la habitación lista lo más pronto posible.

L'emplacement à 7 minutes à pied de la gare. Les petites attentions dans la chambre (bouilloire, café, thé, lait en poudre, sucre, serviettes, savon, shampooing et après shampoing) Les couvertures polaires sur les lits propres. La vue sur les plantations de la chambre . Le petit balcon .

Chambre un peu humide mais pour une nuit pas vraiment gênant et vu le climat pas facile de faire autrement

Menike y su marido son encantadores. La ubicación del alojamiento es perfecta si vas a coger el tren hacia Ella, está muy cerca de la estación. Las instalaciones estan muy bien, habitaciones amplias y limpias. Incluso nos prepararon una cena de arroz y curry que estaba buenísima.

it was one of the best surprises of my trip. It’s very close to Nanu Oya station and only about 10 minutes from Nuwara Eliya by tuk-tuk. I wasn’t originally planning to stay in Nuwara Eliya, but it turned out to be the most peaceful and serene part of my journey. Dream stay has breathtaking scenic views, the rooms are clean, and the hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here for a couple of nights instead of just passing through on the way to Ella.

Wij hadden grote kamer op 1 verdieping heerlijke kamer...maar onze zoon zat in de kamer ernaast zaten vochtplekken. Erg aardige mensen, die 9 koppen thee zetten omdat we wat te vieren hadden....heel fijne mensen

Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn prima.

1 van de kamers is heel vochtig, de andere kamers zijn prima. 1 kamer op de eerste verdieping is heel luxe zelfs. Er zit veel verschil tussen de kamers. De douche beneden was alleen met hele kleine straal warm terwijl hij boven perfect was.

De hosting! Echt super lieve mensen. Toen we een foto van lokaal eten lieten zien en vroegen waar we dat konden eten, boden ze aan om het voor ons te koken. Ze zijn altijd bereid je te helpen en met je mee te denken en de service is top!

Amazing stay at Dream Stay Green! The property is peaceful and well-maintained, with clean, comfortable rooms that made our stay very relaxing. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, assisting us with scooter rental and arranging a tuk-tuk to Ambewela Railway Station, which made our travel hassle-free. The location is also convenient—you can easily reach the property by bus; just get down near the Nanuoya Post Office, and it’s a short walk from there. Highly recommended for a pleasant and stress-free stay!

Great shower with a soft towel was a treat. And the room was comfortable and clean.

It was further from town than we expected. Breakfast was not included.

The staff was very nice. The accomodation is in very nice and peaceful location.

The room had a very bad door so we could hear every sound in the hotel. The room also got quiet cold during night even with two blankets.

Grosse Zimmer mit tollen Balkonen (bei den Deluxe Schlafzimmern). Sehr schöner Ausblick in die Teeplantagen. Die Mitarbeiter sprechen zum Teil wenig englisch, sind aber sehr bemüht und sehr freundlich! Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Der Esstisch ist direkt vor den Hotelzimmern. Das eine Badezimmer war sehe in die Jahre gekommen und hatte viele Insekten, manchmal gab es kein Wasser oder kein heisses Wasser, aber darum wurde sich am nächsten Tag sofort gekümmert. Die Betten waren fest und bequem. Die Unterkunft liegt ein Stück mit dem Tuk Tuk von Nuwara Eliya weg, was uns aber nicht gestört hat.

It was my repeated stay at Dream Stay Green. Its honestly my favourite place in Sri Lanka and best hotel I have stayed during my trip. The view from the huge terrage is stunning - only mountains with tea plantations 180` panoramic view right infront of you room. Room facilities are modern, rooms spaciouse and beds soft and comfortable. Shower cosmetic looks expensive with charming unique smells. Hotel reception was extremaly helpful and caring. Immidiately reacted to all our inquires. At the last day we took a photo for the memory together. Near to the hotel waterfalls walking distance. Bus stop to Nuwara Elia and railway stop right next to the hotel. Even with this youcannot hear any sounds escept of the nature. What I wish is to come back here as soon as possible. Hint - ask for the central room on the second floor -its a best view and biggest terrace, and its not cold as the corner room.

Die Lage zum Bahnhof ist wirklich unschlagbar und man läuft 5 Minuten! Und natürlich, der Ausblick vom Balkon ist wunderschön! Auf der günstige Preis ist wirklich super, dafür ist es völlig ausreichend aber man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass es halt wirklich eine ich sage mal günstige Unterkunft ist. Für eine Nacht vollkommen okay . Ansonsten fährt man 15 Minuten mit dem Tuk Tuk in die Stadt. Ringsherum gibt es eigentlich nichts.

Natürlich hat die Nacht nur 20 € gekostet, aber trotzdem ein paar Dinge, die man wissen sollte: Unser Bad konnte man nicht verschließen, was uns als Paar jetzt nicht gestört hat, aber vielleicht die ein oder andere Person. Ansonsten hat das Zimmer schon mehrere Schimmelflecken gehabt und besonders sauer war es auch nicht. Ansonsten ist es sehr hellhörig aber das ist in solchen Unterkünften ja meist der Fall.

Eigentlich eine richtig gute Lage Nah zum Bahnhof aber durch den Regen war es viel zu kalt in dem Zimmer Gott sei Dank waren da zwei Decken

Durch Nähe zum Bahnhof und Straße sehr laut. Speisekarte vorhanden, aber keine Möglichkeit zum Bestellen. Standardfrühstück. Betten werden nicht gewechselt. Laken für den nächsten Gast nur gesteamt. Wolldecken werden nicht gewaschen und gewechselt. Zimmer teilweise sehr schimmelig ( nicht so sehr bei der Deluxe-Variante)
