I was scared it would be different but I was happy. -Helpfull and friendly lady from the stuff, she even offered to take me pictures as I was swimming but I had my ring light with me. -I love nature, and that place is in a perfect location for me😍 -This was my very first solo trip, it was an enjoyable moment for me. Yes , I will surely come back 😊
-Room had two water leaks as it was raining. One infront of the bed, following morning there was one leak directly on top of the bed. -No space/rails to o hang your towels in the bathroom or something to even put soap on, had to put it on the shower floor. -Thin walks, both nights, I could hear my neighbour at night on the phone😩

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026No heater or electrical blanket. I was very cold We were just given key to the room. Not shown where is the iron etc. You figure things yourself. Make sure you read your emails for gate instructions. The toilet paper quality is very poor.

The bed is small and way too soft, I don't know that length can't be standard and I'm not tall. The room is much smaller than it looks in the photos and the kitchen is way too tiny for cooking.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026The room was beautiful and, although smaller than I expected, it was still lovely, cozy, and comfortable. I especially loved waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning, which made for a peaceful start to the day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was absolutely stunning. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience.
While I enjoyed the sounds of nature in the mornings, I was unfortunately woken up by conversations from the room next door. The walls are very thin, and I could hear almost every conversation taking place, which affected the overall level of peace and quiet.

It has not catered / upgraded in a way that is professional eg: one pillow (old and needing replacement) per person, room was cold and no proper extra blankets were provided, only one glass per style provided for a 2 person room eg one water glass, one wine glass, no sink to wash yet self catering - we had to use bathroom sink to rinse coffee mugs, no crockery, shower pressure and heat was mediocre, cups mismatched - we had 3 that were all different etc.

Found it very difficult to sleep, the room spray that was used was unbearable, to a point where our clothes and hair still smelt like it after we arrived home. There were more decor pillows then bed pillows, which were.l very thing. the bed was very soft.

Reviewed May 4, 2026The rooms were well appointed. It had more of a kitchenette than expected and while small was still usable. The beds were comfortable and warm. The showers were wonderful. The staff was friendly. The location was amazing. We loved our stay.
The braai could be better and an outside dustbin near the braai could be helpful. A permanent mat at the door to wipe sand on would be useful to keep sand out of the unit.

The place is located on a very dark area. We were very scared to enter there, but we did. Directions were not clear, surrounded by dark forests, no light whatsover. The person who gave us directions was commanding us not to enter any other door, which sounded suspicious. We feared for our lives and couldn’t proceed with checking in.

Es gab keine Tür zum Bad oder zur Küche, trotzdem ist es nicht geräumig. Durch das Milchglas kommt früh morgen Licht rein, zudem ist das Haus hellhörig.

My stay was a disaster before it even began. When I entered the room, i was shocked to find it was in an unacceptable state. The bed linen was stained and, to my disgust, had ants crawling on it. Furthermore, the area around the bed was littered with dead bugs, which suggests a pest problem that was poorly handled right before our check-in. I immediately raised these serious concerns with the hosts, expecting them to be helpful. Instead, the situation escalated. They became very defensive and agitated, refusing to acknowledge the problems we showed them. They went so far as to accuse me, their guest, of making false accusations in a desperate attempt to prevent us from cancelling. Their behaviour was completely unprofessional and unwelcoming. Given the lack of basic hygiene and the aggressive response from the management, I felt I had no choice but to leave. I have photographic proof of all the issues mentioned. I strongly advise other travellers to avoid this property.
