Kragga Kamma Game Park

Well equipped home in a gorgeous game park. We had many visitors from the wild, what an amazing way to spend your Saturday afternoon watching wildlife.

Loved everything about the property. The overall experience wasn’t too great though. We felt monitored, a particular ‘neighbour’ made it her business to camp by main gate counting people…then dropped by the house to warn us about rhino poaching, made sure to count again (we were 6 grown up women), asking if any men were coming while standing in the kitchen. Another unpleasant experience ; there’s a fire place and a bean bag placed next to the fire place. A spark flew from the fire and burnt a hole in the bean bag. I reported it to the host and sent a photo. We were made to replace the bean bag, basically sent a cost of the bean bag brand new and charged that amount. I’d assume that such places are covered by insurance for such incidentals, but I may be wrong. It’s a pity really. We left the place spotless, not even a dirty spoon in the sink. We watched rugby and played 30 seconds all night…

The rooms were mostly well equipped, but there was no salt and pepper in the kitchen. Not expecting a spice rack, but surely if you are supplying coffee you could put some salt and pepper in the room. Otherwise not issues.

Great for a short breakaway with young kids

We loved seeing the wildlife.

The bed sinked in at the middle. Microwave and fridge outdated and rusted. Bedsheets was dirty.

Electricity went on and off at some point and hot water ran out.

Absolutely stunning location! The giraffes and other animals came quite close. It was so lovely to be out back in the evening before dark, enjoying the view and whatever animals were around. It was a great location for us to use as a base to drive around Addo as well! We stayed in a more modern chalet, right next door to our friends who could just quickly come over. It was a lovely building, perfect for us!

Some very basic things could have been stocked, such as salt, matches/lighters, and napkins or at least more kitchen washcloths. We also found the water temperature to be hard to control. Often scalding hot! Not good for kids who can reach the sinks.

Incroyable rapport qualité prix pour ce logement avec vue sur les animaux ! Nous avions le chalet Buffalo, et c’était vraiment magique, je ne m’attendais pas à être directement dans le parc, avec une telle proximité ! L’endroit est également parfait pour faire un petit safari qui sera inclu dans le prix. Vraiment très beau logement !

Le lit est un peu ferme, et en 140, pour les grands qui voyagent c’est le seul petit point. Et la douche n’est pas adaptée aux femmes, car pas de pommeau détachable . C’est la seule chose qui peut encore être améliorée ! :)

We had a 1 night stay to celebrate our anniversary and it was beyond my expectations....to experience the wild life so close it was just beautiful 😍 the hot tub was sure my favorite!!

Sehr kleines Bett mit einer sehr harten Matratze. Das Badezimmer war sehr klein mit einem geringen Wasserdruck.

Man muss dies einfach erlebt haben . Es war Mega 👍🏻. Die Tiere so nah . Unser Chalet - ein Traum ..wir könnten die Ruhe und Natur so genießen. Es war herrlich

Great place to stay and excellent value for money. Lots of animals to be seen and the covered braai area outside the front door is a lovely place to sit in the evening. I would highly recommend doing a guided game drive as the rangers have such a passion and knowledge of the animals.

Some of the light fixtures are old and slow to come on, so would help if they were updated.

Das Chalet ist neu und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Game drive mit sehr guten Erklärungen. Die Tiere kommen dicht an die Chalets, wunderschön.

Kids enjoyed the animals, and the place is private and spacious. We just had a great experience, different from the typical coastal vibe. Best of both

TV location is almost hidden.

The view and the location of the room.

The shower rose was leaking and sprayed all the walls in the tiny bathroom. House keeping left the sliding door slightly open and there was a storm before we arrived and the rug inside under the bed was soaking wet.

An incredible experience to wake up and see giraffes walking past your window! The accommodation is also very nice with all the comforts you need. Driving round the site in the morning was fantastic

We have been staying at Kragga Kamma Game park on and off for 11 years. Terry Carly and their team are simply amazing.

Beautiful place, peaceful and it was amazing to all the animals up close.

Ganz tolle Unterkunft direkt im Game Park. Ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis, dass die Zebras und Giraffen direkt auf der Terrasse stehen. Ein Spielplatz ist auf dem Gelände, was für einen Aufenthalt mit Kindern perfekt ist.

Great cabin and fun to have rhino and giraffe wander past your balcony. Just across the road from the Parkrun.

Amazing! We stayed in rhino it was specious, comfortable and we seen rhinos, zebras, ostrich and giraffes just outside our balcony. Cafe in the park is excellent too

Everything! We loved the chalet and hot tub. The proximity to the animals was amazing and you can go for self game drives. Stunning!

Property location is excellent

The way we arrived was extremely hot, we found our room to be extremely uncomfortably until the aircon was able to cool it down.

Super nice & knowledgable staff & rangers. Artificial waterhole close to accommodation brings giraffes, zebras, rhinos, etc. Very close every morning and evening. Super safe even with kids, amazing experience watching animals during breakfast form +-10m distance without fence.

Das Frühstück war zwar nicht im Preis enthalten, aber es war preiswert und sehr gut. Leider hat es etwas lange gedauert. Die Lage der kleinen Häuschen war wunderschön, besonders, da wir am Abend noch Besuch von den Nashörner hatten. Am Morgen waren dann die Giraffen und die Antilopen auf der Wiese vor unserem Haus. Das war wunderschön.

Das Frühstück hätte schneller fertig sein können. 1 Stunde bis wir alle versorgt waren ist zu lang.

Ziemlich schmale und steinige Straßen durch den Park.

Besonders gefallen hat mir die nähe zu den Tieren. Morgens beim aufwachen sieht man direkt die Zebras oder auch am abend beim Essen laufen diese sehr nahe an der Terrasse entlang. Ein besseres Erlebnis ab es bisher nicht.

The kitchen although nice was in need of a refit as the cabinets were in bad shape and the floors which were tiled had chips and cracks

Bed een beetje hard

- Opstaan met giraffen, zebra’s, bonte bokken en struisvogels voor je huisje is echt fantastisch! - Je kan zelf rondrijden met de auto - accommodatie was verouderd maar prima, je kan ook voor de luxere variant gaan, die hebben ze ook.

Huisje met prachtig uitzicht op alle dieren. We zaten tegenover een drinkplaats dus alles kwam langs. Park zelf ook fantastisch. Je kan er zelf over rijden.

Waking up to a view of nature 😄 animals were literally passing close to our villa. The atmosphere is so relaxing. There was an electricity and water issue, but management and staff made the means to provide both.

The breeze in the evening, because it prevented us from chilling in the hot tub 😅

Понравилось абсолютно все!!! Удобно, комфортно, красиво. Рядом гуляли жирафы, проходило стадо буффало и периодически пробегали семейства кабанчиков. Если будет возможность, обязательно еще раз остановлюсь здесь.

Lovely stay and location. The new modern units are comfortable and well equipped though a little small if arriving with lots of luggage for a long road trip. Plenty of amazing animals to see wandering past or drive through safari. Staff are helpful

Wunderschöne Unterkunft. Sauber wie in der Schweiz.

Our Nyala cabin was very private & hot tub on patio was most enjoyable. The restaurant was very well managed with affordable & delicious meals.

The windows and braai facilities were really dirty & left a bad impression on a lovely comfortable cabin. This is mostly the reason for an 8/10 score.Cleaning Staff should be better supervised .

Everything was beautiful about the park, it was peaceful and our guide for our game drive, Johan, gave us great info. We loved every moment of our stay, we were lucky enough to wake up with giraffes staring into our room at 5am!! It was really a highlight of our stay in SA.

The only note I would add is that the bed frame in the lodge i stayed in was squeaky, it was disruptive while trying to sleep.

The place clean and peaceful. We had a lot of visits from the animals ☺️

Der Park mit den Tieren ist sehr schön (wenn auch ein Zoo-Gefühl vorhanden ist) Das Chalet hat alles was es benötigt. Preis-Leistung ist perfekt.

Das Bett dürfte etwas größer sein und leider hatten wir beide Nächte eher laute Nachbarn.
