Kein Moskitonetz. Nach altem Fisch stinkende Kommode, die erst nur gelüftet wurde und dann wieder stinkend reingestellt wurde. Dann wurde darüber diskutiert ob sie wieder rausgestellt werden müsste…

Le logement était très calme, situé dans un cadre agréable au bord de la mangrove, tout en étant proche de nombreux restaurants. Le personnel de l’hôtel était particulièrement accueillant, attentionné et toujours à l’écoute. Nous avons également apprécié la possibilité de louer un scooter directement à l’hôtel, ce qui est très pratique pour se déplacer. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

La salle de bain mériterait un petit rafraîchissement, mais cela n’a en rien impacté la qualité du séjour.

Excellent location, beach walking distance. Bars and restaurants short motorbike drive away. Very clean, excellent staff, all in all very comfortable stay.

Det var ganska lyhört och hade ingen restaurang

スタッフの方がとても優しく、2日に1度お部屋のクリーニングとお水を追加してくれました。 ランドリーも有料ですが依頼できます。 シャワーのお湯も熱く清掃も行き届いており、ドライヤーやケトルもあり、快適に過ごすことができました。 また、マングローブ林の中にあるので桟橋で過ごす朝夕の時間は最高です！ カヌーも無料貸出ししています。 かわいいねこちゃんにも癒されました。 ビーチへも徒歩10分、周辺にも何件か飲食店があり便利でした。

施設内は土足厳禁なのでアーシングしてるような感覚です。 屋外の木板はきれいですが、潔癖の人は厳しいかもしれません。 あとお部屋に小さなアリが少しいました。

Mały hotel dysponujący kilkoma pokojami w głównym parterowym budynku oraz kilka domków ładnie i czysto utrzymanych . Bardzo miła i pomocna właścicielka dbająca o każdy szczegół pobytu. Chętnie pomagała w kontaktach miejscowymi firmami. Obiekt położony jest w maleńkiej miejscowości około 700 m od przepięknej plaży. W domkach dobrze działająca klimatyzacja. Na miejscu darmowy dostęp do kajaków (hotel umiejscowiony nad rzeką).

Szkoda, że tak byliśmy tam tak krótko.

Gemütliches Bungalow mit Hängematte, helles Licht im Bad, wahlweise aircon oder Fan. Bungalow liegt zwar an der Straße, aber nachts ruhig und tagsüber ist man sowieso unterwegs. Schön gestalteter Garten und Chill Lounge mit Schaukeln, Hängematten und anderen Sitzgelegenheiten. Perfekte Lage auf der Insel, alles super erreichbar mit Roller. Liebes Personal, tolle Infos und auch kleiner Nachtmarkt zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

Schade dass die Unzerkünfte auf Ko Kood generell für Thaiverhältnisse hoch sind, aber das ist ein anderes Thema und hat nichts mit dieser tollen Unterkunft zu tun.

Location, friendly staff

El personal es muy amable. Los bungalows son comodos y estan bien ubicados porque hay playa cerca, un mercado nocturno con musica en vivo y restaurantes asi que no es necesario usar siempre la moto. Alquilan moto y tienen servicio de laundry.

El baño esta unido a la habitacion pero no esta climatizado y es bastante sencillo. Le falta mantenimiento a los kayaks.

Le charme de l établissement et la gentillesse et discrétion du personnel. C est parfait pour se relaxer.

Host friendly and helpful. Location good within 10 mins walk of the beach and 5 mins walk to Buffalo Bus night market. Room basic but great situation right next to the river with table & chairs outside and nice chilling area, hammocks, etc. Good breakfast available (must book day before) and canoes to explore river, get within walking distance of waterfall and reach the beach. Easy to rent a moped from host for good price.

Nothing to dislike.

J'avais un très joli bungalow tout en bois, avec terrasse et hamac, dans un joli jardin fleuri. L'hôtel propose aussi une terrasse en bord de mangrove très reposante; la plage est à dix minutes à pied. A proximité on trouve restaurants, boutiques, glaciers, fruitiers.

Le matelas est très dur; l'eau de la douche est toujours froide; le sol de la douche est en carrelage très glissant. La gérante compte précisément le nombre de tranches de pain mangées au petit déjeuner et facture à la tranche près !

Die Bungalows mit AC, liegen sehr nah an der Straße, Bungalows sind sehr klein, wenig Ablage besonders im Bad, Restaurant war leider Anfang Jan. bereits geschlossenen (wenig Gäste wegen des Grenzkonflikts Thailand-Kambodscha)

Wenn ich lange überlege dann fallen mir die Schnaken ein

Wir waren 11 Nächte im Ta Yai Homestay bei unserer zauberhaften Gastgeberin Louisa und können uns den vielen positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Louisa ist ein ausgesprochen höflicher, freundlicher und herzlicher Mensch. Sie hat uns von Anfang an das Gefühl gegeben, zu Hause sein zu dürfen. Ihre Herzlichkeit und ihr Service ist herausragend. Das Frühstück können wir sehr empfehlen. Man sitzt dort in einem wunderbaren und sehr kreativ gestalteten offenen Bereich oder kann sich vorne an den Klong setzen und den Blick auf den Fluss und den Dschungel beim Kaffee genießen, was wir oft getan haben. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und besteht aus einem täglich gewählten Set. Zusätzlich stehen unbeschränkt Kaffee, heißes Wasser, Ovomaltine, Marmelade, Toast, Obst und andere kleine Leckereien wie Croissants zur Verfügung. Alles wird liebevoll und frisch zubereitet. Die Sauberkeit im Ta Yai empfanden wir als außergewöhnlich gut. Alle zwei Tage wurden nicht nur die Handtücher gewechselt und der Bungalow gereinigt, sondern auch alle Bettdecken und Kissen gewechse. Da wir schon älter sind hatten wir ein Problem mit der harten Matratze und Louisa hat uns sofort extra Decken gegeben. Beim kleinsten Problem war sie immer sofort vor Ort und hat es gelöst. Und ihr Angestellter PI macht einen tollen Job. Für Katzenfreunde gibt es zwei süße Hauskatzen, die regelmäßig zum Kuscheln vorbeikommen. Gute Motorroller kann man vor Ort leihen. Urlaub im Ta Yai ist ein bisschen wie Urlaub bei einer thailändischen Familie. Danke Louisa 🥰, Susanne und Frank

Die Matratze war für uns sehr hart, selbst für thailändische Verhältnisse. Das könnte man vielleicht mit einem Topper verbessern

Hadde ikke frokost på stedet, men spiste god frokost på restaurant ved siden av. Beliggenhet var magisk. Kort vei til alt, restaurant , strand, marked, fossefall og butikker. Personalet var veldig koselig og hjalp med alt en spurte om. Leide scooter på stedet. Rent og ryddig på rom og fellesareal.

Har ikke noe å klage på.

Tout était parfait avec un personnel adorable. Franchement, je conseille cet endroit s’y reposant. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Logement propre et confortable, bien équipé, très grand lit. Location de scooter. Kayaks mis à disposition gratuitement. Bon petit déjeuner pour 200BHT.

Mon bungalow était très proche de la route, j’avais donc pas mal de bruits liés à la circulation. La wifi fonctionnait de façon aléatoire. La porte de la chambre s’ouvrait seule même si elle était verrouillée en fonction des appels d’air avec la porte de la salle de bain. C’est le logement le plus cher de mon voyage (3 mois en Asie du Sud Est) et pas forcément le mieux, donc un rapport qualité prix très moyen.

È stato tutto stupendo. TA YAI HOMESTAY ha un fascino unico: sei completamente immerso nella natura e, al tramonto, puoi prendere liberamente il kayak e lasciarti andare sull’acqua. Di notte ti senti profondamente connesso a tutto ciò che ti circonda, ed è davvero emozionante pernottare lì. La struttura è molto pulita, l’host e lo staff sono efficienti, gentili e accoglienti: ti fanno sentire davvero in famiglia. Super consigliato! E l’isola, poi, è semplicemente pazzesca. Spero di tornare prestissimo! - Everything was absolutely wonderful. TA YAI HOMESTAY has a unique charm: you’re fully immersed in nature and, at sunset, you can freely take a kayak and drift out onto the water. At night, you feel deeply connected to everything around you, and staying there is truly emotional. The place is very clean, and both the host and the staff are efficient, kind, and welcoming—they really make you feel at home. Highly recommended! And the island itself is just incredible. Hope to be back very soon!

Die liebe Chefin Louisa. Die Sauberkeit. Das Personal, die liebevolle Anlage, die Lage, die kostenlosen Kayaks, das gute, günstige Restaurant. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis. Man bräuchte eigentlich keinen Scotter. Im Umkreis von etwa 700m befindet sich alles, was man braucht. Der überschaubare Nachtmarkt. Auch der längste, sauberste Strand mit toller Lagune befindet sich im Radius. Traumhaft schön ist es, die etwa 400m mit dem Kayak ans Meer zu fahren. Dann das Kayak an der traumhaften Lagune parken, und dann baden im annähernd 30 Grad warmen, kristallklaren Wasser.

Die Tage dort gingen zu schnell vorbei.

Homestay très sympa, au bord de la mangrove, parfait pour se relaxer. Des kayaks sont à disposition pour aller à la plage. Proche des commerces, des restaurants et de la plage.

Majitelka byla velmi milá, vstřícná. Prostředí klidné, večerní relaxace na terase i v houpací síti. Možnost zapůjčení skutru přímo u majitelky, také zdarma si můžete půjčit kajak a plout po mangrovové řece. Ubytování je blízko pláže a také blízko Night marketu - každý večer živá hudba, dostatek jídla.

Room was very clean and mine was on the perfect spot, just above the river. Nice terrace and quiet surrondings. Staff was extremly friendly and helpfull. Nice little restaurant offered cheap, but tasty meals.

Alles. Louis ist sehr sehr herzlich. Sie und ihre Angestellten machen den Aufenthalt perfekt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber & schön eingerichtet. Es hat alles was man braucht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Ein Frühstück kann vor Ort vorbestellt und bereits früh morgens gegessen werden (Auswahl 1 Menü + Tee/Wasser/Kaffee/Orangensaft/Toast/Früchte/Croissant gratis), was optimal ist, wenn man noch abreisen muss. Essensmöglichkeiten in der Nähe + Rollervermietung vor Ort. Danke Louis für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Die Bungalows mit Gartenblick liegen gegenüber einer Strasse. Während unseres Aufenthalts war diese mit Rollern viel befahren und dadurch war es etwas laut. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat sollte evtl. die Zimmer zum Fluss bevorzugen.

Tolle ursprüngliche, einheimische Atmosphäre. Am Fluss gelegen und man konnte sich Kajaks nehmen.

My room showed signs of mold/dampness, which caused me some respiratory issues. I have allergies and am particularly susceptible to this, so probably wouldn't be a huge issue for most people.

i didnt like taking shoes off, especially that you cannot wear slippers in the toilets/shower - sometimes i just wanted to use toilet but someone took shower few minutes before and floor was all wet. common area was not clean enough and i had to walk bare foot there and then get into my bed…

The owners of the homestay were so welcoming and friendly, the location is amazing as an incredible beach (Khlong Chao) is 5 min walk away, plus the homestay is located on a beautiful river with mangroves. They offer kayaks for free, so you can paddle down the river 5 minutes to get to the beach and a bit further for snorkelling spots. The location and cleanliness was well worth it for the price!

No water refill station (but they offer free bottled water and recycling)

A wonderful, peaceful place. One can really enjoy the silence and authentic Koh Kut here. The owner was extremely kind, welcoming and responsive to every need we had. Very clean and the room had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Close to a beautiful large beach, just 5 minutes away.

It would be nice if the room had a hanger in the bathroom for towels.

Great location, close to restaurants and one of the most beautiful beaches on the island yet quiet at night. Porch and common area is very peaceful and inviting.

Amazing Homestay with lovely hosts. The location was very beautiful between the mangroves and I liked the wooden building style. If you book the day before, you also get a fancy and large breakfast!

Tayai Homestay is a very cute little hostel with different housing options. We stayed in a room within a larger house, where three rooms were right next to each other (Room with Kingsize Bed and Balcony). The room itself was great - simple but had everything we needed, with a very quiet AC. Beyond that, the whole area is beautiful, with a lovely shared terrace and plenty of nice spots to sit and relax. One of the highlights was being able to use the kayaks for free, which made for an amazing experience. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful - whether it was organizing laundry, renting a scooter, or giving useful local tips, she was available all the time and made everything easy and convenient. It’s not far to the next beach and a few good restaurants or small shops. Overall, a great place to stay, especially for the price and location.

The room wasn’t the brightest space, but for the price, it was absolutely fine. The only downside was that the walls were quite thin, so we could hear the neighbors (talking, showering or snoring) quite a bit. Nevertheless, the whole area was very calm and peaceful.

Very nice homey place with a smiling friendly host. The wooden deck area and hammocks were dreamy for relaxing and reading a book with a view of the mangroves. The room was comfortable (even if not fancy). The free kayaks are great and they also helped us with laundry and bike rental. The location is perfect close to restaurants and a gorgeous beach.

This home stay exceeded all my expectations. The area is really clean and well maintained. There’s a huge patio by the river in the mangroves with a lot of hammocks, seating areas etc. breakfast was superb with many options which partly changed every morning. The owner is really wonderful and happy person. Location is near the beach and if you don’t want to walk there, you can always take one of the many free canoes that the accommodation provides to its guests. You can also canoe on the river deeper into the mangroves if you want. They also rent scooters here. I read others review’s about hard beds, but I stayed in one of the rooms by water and at least that bed was really comfortable and cotton sheets really soft and’s pillows good. Definitely will come here again :)

Absolutely fantastic service and approach to guests...

Onwer is the friendliest and smiliest lady I've met, very helpful. Rent bikes, kayaks are free and have laundry service (cheap) - we used all with ease Our lodge was close to the road but barely any traffic and plants put in place to block the view of the road, basic room but that's what's in the description and all we needed. Decking area is so beautiful and peaceful, on the river with the mangroves, perfect location, close walk to the beach and some restaurants/bars

Air-conditioning a little noisy - might just need the filter changing

Wonderful place, very cozy and clean, have all you need: very nice bungalow with hot water, a/c and you can use a kayak for free and go to the beach, it was beautiful experience on Koh Kood!

Everything is fine!

There were kayaks that I could use, without cost or booking. Louise arranged taxis for me and my friends. I had the room right by the river, which was quiet. It was a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. Louise provided me with a kettle so that I could make my own coffee. I could also buy drinks from the reception, and it was a short walk to a shop in both directions.

Bungalows are spacious and clean. Lovely atmosphere. Kayaks are given for free and you can explore the coast and the lagoon easily. Staff is kind and always willing to help. We had a very good time, thanks!

Great location, 5 minute walk from the beach, ATM and cafes. Staff were super friendly and dealt with problems we had. Also sorted laundry and motorbike hire plus boat taxi, although you can get cheaper than 300 elsewhere on the island.

Did have an ant infestation second night, although credit to the lady working came back to the hotel in the early hours and sorted the problem for us. Was a stressful hour though. To Be expected in location and climate I suppose. Also TV channel was stuck.
