Beautiful, simple accomodation, well maintained, lovely staff and breakfast.

Not very soundproof-not a huge problem, but the night we were there, we unfortunately had noisy fellow guests and there was a party across the street

The host was very welcoming, and was always willing to help out, despite that we had to communicate through Google translate. The stay was an enjoyable experience.

The bathroom needs better ventilation (like a fan instead of a simple hole on the wall)

Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Die Besitzer können zwar schwer Englisch, mit Google Übersetzer war das aber absolut kein Hinderniss. Sie sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. In der Unterkunft konnten wir auch Fahrräder für 60‘000 VND mieten. Diese Fahrräder sind in top Zustand und perfekt un die Gegend zu erkunden. Es ist ebenfalls möglich über einen Drittanbieter einen Roller zu mieten. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Klimaanlage kühlt den Raum super runter, das Bett ist sehr bequem und die kleine Terrasse wirklich sehr gemütlich. Auch das Badezimmer war sauber und wir hatten warmes Wasser.

Nice view, nice setup in the room - I had a view on mountains, very kind family who run this place, good location, good breakfast (eggs, pan, veggies, pineapple, coffee and some sweet snacks)

Bed is uncomfortable :/ it’s noisy in the evening as there is karaoke place and operates till 23, I needed to stay with headphones noise reduction and still heard them and then at 4/5 am the rooster crows 😓

Amazing views all around, decent breakfast, clean and comfortable room

Right in the center of Lac Village. Owners were kibd & very helpful. Free bicycle use. We had room 502 'the attic", which was a loft room. It had a big terrace off sleeping area with table & chairs, great sreet & mountain views. Breakfast was simple but good, and they offered to serve it up on our terrace. We enjoyed our stay.

The homestay is very well maintained and situated. Everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic stay in Mai Chau, and this place was a huge reason for it! The family is amazing, always seems to be smiling, and helped us figure out onward travel to Moc Chau. The room was extremely clean, had a comfortable bed, and a wonderful view. Water pressure, wifi, and a/c were all good, too. The bicycles are free to use, which was perfect, because cycling around the villages and through the rice fields has been a highlight of our Vietnam trip. Also, the breakfast was tasty!

The roosters on the rooftop can be a bit dramatic in the morning, but it didn't affect our stay.

We had an wonderful stay. "Thai Ha" and here whole family were always so kind and friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. You should try from their delicious breakfast or dinner too. We highly recommend this place. Thank you very much to "Thai Ha" and here family. "Thai Ha" made the whole motorbike rental experience for the Mai chau smooth and stress-free.

Very unique place with lovely owners, Kim and her son that gave me and my friends a feeling like home . You can get a free bicycle all day , and It’s clean and helps to solve any problem.

Very nice family that run the place. I stayed 5 nights in 2 different rooms. The quad room with large balcony had one of the best mattresses I’ve slept on in Vietnam. The other room (104), also had a good mattress but not quite as soft. The rooms are arranged in a loft layout. The toilet is on the main level and the bed and balcony are up steep stairs within the room. Breakfasts are very good and they provide butter and jam (I find that many places don’t). The village was quiet this time of year (mid-April) during the week but got noisy when a school group arrived. I was also able to park my motorcycle in the lobby. I would stay here again.

We loved our one night stay. The well-decorated room was clean, spacious and had a very comfortable bed. Water pressure and temperature was fantastic! Our check in was excellent and the host was very kind, offering us a cup of tea. Breakfast was pre ordered and we were very happy.

The family was so sweet. We got free breakfast every day which was lovely. Room was beautiful and clean. Only thing is the neighbor had a rooster in a cage directly outside the room that made noise from 3:45am onward. Not the owner’s fault but worth mentioning that sleep might be affected.

Our stay was perfect. The room is excellent, big rooms. there is a lot of hot water for shower, the bed is super comfortable and the room also very clean. The land lady and the family are super kind and nice. Helped us with everything we needed. Basic but great breakfast is included. We rented a motorbike from them on great price. I really recommend this place I loved it

Such lovely People a beautifull couple mama and papa and they're 2 sons. One of the sons helped us right away with a nice scooter, warm blakets and a little heater (that made it so cozy and warm in the room) and the other son picked us up at the bus and was so kind to help us with booking a bus to Hanoi when we left! And mama made us a delicious breakfast every moring... The room was very clean and nicely decorated and a nice Hot shower. ♡♡♡

The family was really nice and welcoming. The family room with big terrace was beautiful. Thai helped us to arrange transportation to Tam Coc.

Very good location, very welcoming Family , wonderful Mounain Sight and Breakfast from your little balcony, try to connect with families and live the experience... if you are adventurous recommend to rent motorbike from the House and go to the Floating House (easy-medium road) and Sunset Viewpoint (hard Road)

But Little bit loud when school groups come to the place..

The place really great and the staff is helpful, and in different scenario I think I would give them a 10.

They hosted a full class of children in a room right next to us, and it was awful. I think that they should not host other people whenever they host schools.

Great hosts, lovely little village

Loved this place. Everything about it was perfect for us. Room was clean and comfortable with a very large balcony with large table and chairs. The location is very convenient and although in the village is very quiet. Had a great sleep every night on a very comfortable bed. Thai,who runs the place is a real good guy and takes care of everything. His mother is a wonderful person,very kind and friendly. She gave a really good breakfast every morning and we appreciated the choice of food offered. This is a very good place to stay and both my wife and I would like to thank Thai and his mother once again for their generous hospitality.We would certainly recommend this place for a stay in Mai Chau.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They arranged for us to rent motorbikes and did our laundry. The location was great and the rooms very nice.

Mountain view was fabulous from a lovely private first floor patio. Family were very friendly and helpful. Helped organize scooter hire and onward travel.

Bicycle hire was included for us and scooters/mopeds were an option. Cheap and the breakfast (ordered) is decent. Triple room had a big terrace. This is budget accommodation, but decent for that.

Bathroom could have a fly screen. Steep steps up to where beds are and the mattresses being on the floor may pose a challenge for some.

I rate this property 11/10, the place is absolutely amazing. The host and his family are great - extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful and attentive. The owners offer you help before you even ask! He also helped us organize transfers. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was really delicious and varied, the portions were huge. The facility is perfectly located and is a great starting point for visiting the surrounding rice fields. I definetely recommend this place to anyone! Thank you very much for an amazing stay!

Very accommodating hosts, clean rooms, right in the middle of the village, and they even gave us a gift after checking out.

The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were very clean. Beautiful view of the village and mountains from the bedroom and patio. Breakfast was included and the hosts accommodated for an extra cot we needed. The host family was very accommodating and helpful.

AC in one of the rooms was not strong enough for one of the rooms but otherwise property was great.

The Homestay was great located in a small village. The rooms are comfortable, nice and clean. We were able to get our laundry washed, backpack fixed, lend a bike, rent s scooter and arrange our trip back to the costal area. I can fully recommend the place.

Absolutely lovely room at the Green Ecohouse.. an exceptionally clean and spacious bathroom, a lobby area with a kettle and mugs and then upstairs the bedroom with patio doors leading onto a balcony with mountain views.. and table and chairs to enjoy it. The family who run the place were incredibly friendly and helpful.. the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.

Mattress was bit outdated

Thai and his family could not do enough for me. Nothing was a problem. They organized a local guide, Thu, and he was great to go hiking with. They will organize anything for you, nothing is a problem. Comfortable and central in the Lau village. Great spot would come back to stay anytime. Free bikes, and they also have motorbikes for hire. They organized the bus for me as well.

The host and his family took such a great care of us. They greeted us with the tea, rented a motorbike and otherwise went beyond to help us feel comfortable. It is situated in Lac village and it gets very nicely vibrant in the evening there. The room is clean, very pretty and smelled like lemongrass when we arrived. Mr. Thai helped us with the transport to Ninh Binh and got us to the bus on his motorbike. I’d return anytime again.

Perfect place!!!! Clean and very beautiful rooms with amazing mountain view. The family that runs the homestay is so nice and warm, they took care of everything we needed and even let us cook in their own house. I highly recommend staying there! ❤️❤️❤️

Mosquitoes got into room since the door wouldn’t close fully, there was a rooster nearby that kept us from sleeping well, no mini fridge

The owner and the hosting family were extremely helpful and welcoming. We were able to rent a scooter, have our laundry done and booked our next transfer with them. The room was comfortable and private. The village itself is truly picturesque! Lots of good food options next door.

It s a very modern and nice homestay. In the first night we woke up at 4 in the morning cause of a rooster. It screamed every 20 seconds and this for hours!There were 3 roosters like 5 meters away from the balcony and they were not covered from daylight. After we told this the homestay family they offered us another room for the next night. That was on street side and it was good for sleeping (although the rooster screamed again) The family and the room were so nice, that it is still 10 points!! You can order as much breakfast as you wish (you let them know the night before). There s a laundry service (1 kilo around 25.000). Also you can rent a scooter (7 dollar ca). It s located in the village center with a lot of restaurants around. But you re also just a few meters away from green ricefields.

Location was in the Lac Village. The family room had 2 comfortable queen beds in a loft style setting. A large open Patio for enjoying fresh air (Smokey due to burning season sometimes). nice for kids to have extra room outside. Restroom down below. water pressure and heat was excellent. Usual SEA shower. small window to allow escaping for moisture. It was clean facility. Thai and his family run this wonderful homestay. Bicycles were available and one can rent scooters from them. Mr. Thai was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp but always came by to make sure all was well. one thing in particular about SEA traveling is the lack of hooks to get your belongings out of the way. This place had them in the landing, bathroom and a bonifiéd hat rack. you could dry your towels! keep everything organized. Mr. Thai helped arrange for private driver to our next destination. ask for him; he was very kind and a safe driver (Thuấn) Stay here when in Mai Chau.

Wifi was a bit weak. There wasn’t much variety to the breakfast although the pho was very good.

We absolutely loved this homestay! We visited Mai Chau for 1 night and wanted to experience the culture which you definitely do by staying here, right in the middle of a little village full of other homestays. On arrival, we were welcomed with a drink, and Ty showed us to our room which we loved. We weren't expecting much at such a cheap price, but we felt this was better than some hotels we've stayed in. Downstairs is a little lobby to take off your shoes and store cases, and a toilet and shower. Upstairs were two mattresses on the floor which were actually comfortable, especially as the place was so clean. Then there was a huge patio with amazing views. We hired bikes for free and when we had to leave to get our bus to Hanoi, Ty took is in two groups on his bike to the bus stop. Would highly recommend this place.
