The owner is incredibly caring. We got lost and he came to pick us up by motorbike. He and his wife were so kind and she cooked us wonderful food. Everything was brilliant -don’t hesitate to stay at this place!

I would have preferred bedding made from natural materials, such as cotton or linen, not polyester.

Simply wonderful ! Adorable family and such a lovely place to stay. We had a great time at this homestay, the surroundings are beautiful as are the local people. Very good rooms with a great view over the rice fields, and as vegetarians the food was unbelievably good and plentiful. We have very fond memories and were sad to leave, this was one of the highlights of our trip.

Nothing

Everything was perfect, especially the Welcome we had for the whole family and especially Nghi ! The location & view are amazing, we had very nice food too. The best part was the trekking around forest, rice fields & villages. We had amazing BBQ for lunch. Well, thank you for everything !

De familie van Nghi verwelkomde ons hartelijk. De ligging is prachtig, in de natuur in een klein dorpje. Er zijn geen winkels of restaurants. De maaltijden in de homestay zijn iets duurder dan in een restaurant maar de porties zijn enorm en het eten is verrukkelijk. We verbleven er vier nachten dus onze dochters (9j en 7j) hadden ruim de tijd om met de dorpskinderen te spelen, een fantastische ervaring! Bovendien biedt Nghi geweldige activiteiten aan.

De vierpersoonskamer (met gedeelde badkamer) was een beetje krap en donker, maar dat stoorde ons niet. De kamers in de aparte bungalows zijn ruimer en heel mooi ingericht.

It was just amazing! The family was so welcoming and sweet, we had such a great time. We went fishing with the kids, take cooking lessons, he went with us to a local market and let us expirience batik. It was great! And the food is very nice too. We felt very comfortabel here, i wish we could have stayed longer. The little hut was so beautiful, clean and the bed was very comfy - the view stunning. Really over the top. Thank you so much☀️

Everthing!!!!

We had an amazing stay at Que’s Homestay. The view over the ricefields is amazing and it gives an insight in the real local life of Vietnam (and White Tai village people). Nhgi and his family were lovely and very welcoming. He picked us up at Mai Chau village when we arrived and helped us with finding transport on the day we left. We we’re served a lot of delicious food during our stay, which was all locally sourced. We highly recommend doing the trekking with Nhgi. It is a beautiful walk through the jungle. Midway we stopped at a house on the top of the mountain, were we had lunch with the local people living there. It was very special, we got to help cook and eat the dinner inside their home. The trekking ends with a nice swim in the waterfall near the village. If you want an authentic, local and good experience, you should definitely book Que’s homestay.

We had a lovely stay at Quế Homestay - the surroundings were beautiful, our room had a lovely view over the fields, comfy bed and excellent dinner (one of the best dinners we have had during our 3 months in Vietnam).

The bathroom had a bit of a smell, but we just opened the window and it was fine. Since we only stayed 1 night, we didn't ask about it.

Delicious dinner and very friendly hosts. Thank you!

Location, people, the view, the food

Booked a private room with private bathroom, upon arrival they didn't seem to know much about me and gave me a small room with a shared bathroom. Later found out another couple staying there had the same problem and that they'd quadruple booked the same room.

We loved the people. So very helpful, warm and funny. The dinners were exceptional, great variety of dishes. Can't get that in a restaurant. Lots of little sitting areas looking at the rice fields. So pretty.

We booked a room with private bathroom and got one with shared bathroom. But the price was very fair and the kindness of the people made up big time for it.

We stayed two days in a beautiful place ... we experienced the life of the locals in the conditions of Westerners ... the host speaks good English, so we can ask about life in Vietnam, about its history and culture ... we travel by motorbike, and the host gave us routes that do not appear on Google Maps and beautiful points to reach ... we had dinner with his family, and he was available even after we left for questions ... if you want a place close to Mai Chau but not touristy, then this is the place

Great remote location. Family were warm and welcoming. Views from bedroom spectacular. Unfortunately we didn't have great weather - so couldn't enjoy sitting outdoors for meals as much. But room had efficient heating.

It is very basic - but it's clean.

Very nice homestay, beautiful place

We had a great time, communication with the host was very easy, the place is gorgeous in a very quiet village. Amazing experience overall, we also did a trek in the jungle and a tour on motorbike, it was superb !

It was in a quiet place, in the heat of the village

This place is located in a beautiful place, I was with them for a week, and it was like staying with family. They took care of me as if I were part of their family, I picked chilli from the field, I went for a walk with grandpa and they took me to the waterfalls. Everything incredible. I will repeat for sure. Maybe the meals are a bit expensive.. But is worth it. Everything is delicious!!! :)
