La famille est adorable. Même avec la barrière de la langue on a pu sympathiser. La nourriture est délicieuse et copieuse. Les petit-déjeuner et les dîners étaient parfaits et très abordable niveau prix. Tour en bateau proposé très sympa et pas cher non plus. C'est propre et la vue est superbe. Je recommande !

Rien. Ce n'est pas le meilleur confort niveau literie mais pour le prix et la valeur des échanges avec la maman de la famille ça vaut largement le coup ☺️

The host of the homestay is very welcoming. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner possibilities and enjoyed the boat trip she helped us book. There is a nice common area to enjoy the rice field views.

Spectacular location for a relaxing stay. The views are incredible, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The dinner is also very good and generous in portions. You can rent bicycles and explore the surrounding area, which is a great experience. The breakfast could be a little better, but it is still good overall. Thank you!

Everything here was perfect. The boss lady was super friendly and talkative, and she has a very cute grand daughter. I got a small double bed room by myself for this unbeatable price. No smell of mold in the room, great view from the veranda, space to park a motorbike. Free drinking water, reasonable prices for beverages. I could come back and stay for weeks.

Verten var veldig imøtekommende og behjelpelig. Vi kommuniserte via google translate men det gikk helt fint. Rommet var fint og alt fungerte. Utsikten på balkongen var veldig fin, og lokasjonen var bra. Grei verdi for pengene.

Rommet kunne vært renere og luften ble raskt veldig tett så vi fikk vondt i hodet. Dagen vi dro oppdaget vi og at vi hadde blitt skikkelig matforgiftet. Da hadde vi kun spist på og drukket vann fra hostellet det siste døgnet.

Les hôtes sont super gentils, souriants et prêts à rendre service. Oncle Truhć a prêté son bateau à son frère pour m’y emmener faire un grand tour sur le Lac. C’était une super expérience ! La vue sur le lac est splendide, sûrement l’une des plus belle vue de Ba Bê.

Đi lại giữ các phòng ồn ào. Có 1 phòng ồn ào cả đêm khiến các phòng bên không ngủ được. Giá tính suất ăn theo đầu người hơi cao, 200k/ng mà đồ ăn ít. Đi 2 người, ở 2 đêm, ăn 3 bữa mà 1tr2 tiền ăn ( 400k/bữa cho 2 ng). Rút kinh nghiệm nên hỏi giá giá đồ ăn trước.

L'accoglienza della famiglia soprattutto di Binh è stata eccezionale e nonostante la difficoltà della lingua con l'aiuto del traduttore ci ha organizzato un bellissimo giro in barca sul lago e si è reso disponibile a prenotarci il minivan per tornare ad Hanoi e risolvere i problemi inerenti al prelievo di contanti (purtroppo a Ba Bè nessuno prende la carta di credito quindi organizzatevi in anticipo!)

beautiful view. you can hang out in the main area and enjoy it + theres a hammock. You can rent a bike or canoe from the owners pretty easily for about 13 euro for the day- just text anytime to arrange it. Rooms where basic but beds where clean and had netting which is important. Its true the walls dont exactly seal you from outside but we didn't mind this for the most part.

This is in no way the properties fault, but just be warned theres a lot of cicadas about! I personally find them to be horrific creatures equivocal to tree roaches- they sensed my fear, im sure, and at every opportunity tried to enter my dwellings and person.

A really nice homestay. Great people. Simple rooms with AMAZING views. Well situated for everything you'd want to do. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The perfect stop.

La vue depuis la pièce principale est très joli, la nourriture est bonne, pas inclus dans le prix de la nuit. Il y a un bon internet, un hamac pour se poser et les gérants te proposent le bateau sur la lac (attention il faudra payer l’entrée au parc national 70k en plus). Une moustiquaire est disponible sur le lit.

La chambre n’est pas chère sur booking parce qu’il y a des « fees » donc elle revient au même prix que ce qu’on trouve en général au Vietnam. Les salles de bains sont pleines d’insectes :S on est vraiment à la campagne donc à prendre en compte (gros cafards, grosses araignées, lézards). Attention pas de Clim.

The location is wonderful, with a view of the rice fields. The family always has something for you if you're hungry—that was great. They're very helpful anyway; for example, they arranged a canoe for us. The beds have mosquito nets and are very comfortable.

L'endroit est magnifique

Nous avons resservé un tour en bateau pour 4 personnes au prix de 1.2 million (soit 300 milles par pers.), au dernier moment on nous as dit que nous n''étions plus que 2, nous avons bien demandé si le prix était toujours de 300 mille par personne ce qui nous a été confirmé. Le soir au moment de régler l'addition on m'a bien facturé 300 mille, mais éa propriétaire m'a demandé de ne rien dire à l'autre personne parce qu'elle allait lui demander 1 million....... Je n'ai pas accepté bien sûr et j'ai partagé l'addition avec l'autre personne, soit 500 mille par pers. Au-delà de l'argent c'est vraiment pas réglo,, quel dommage, tout avait été parfait mais c'est juste inacceptable

Good value homestay in a scenic location. The view from outside our room on the third floor was lovely, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. A bed net was provided which was nice to have, as there were quite a lot of insects around! The owner didn't speak much English but we had no problem communicating with him with a translation app, and he was very kind and helpful. He let us sit in the restaurant area to wait for our bus after we checked out. The food was delicious and plentiful, definitely recommend! If you have dietary requirements it's probably best to enquire before you arrive, as there was no vegetarian food available one night of our stay. However the restaurant across the road had lots of good options, so this wasn't a problem. The bed was comfortable too, which can't always be expected in Vietnam.

The listing mentions a laundry service but we were pointed to a tap and a basin to wash clothes by hand - fine but not exactly what we expected! It would have been nice if there was a more prominent price list for extras like food, as we had to ask to find out how much the dinner and breakfast was. The following aren't the fault of this homestay but are worth bearing in mind: The homestay next door had loud music playing both nights of our stay. It finished by about 10:30pm, but it was quite annoying. The area is scenic but it definitely felt like off-season when we were there in March. We wanted to hire kayaks to paddle on the lake, but we couldn’t find any kayaks for hire. It probably would have been possible if we had booked ahead, so be warned if you are going off-peak!

Accueil chaleureux, petit déjeuner et dîner délicieux en plus le menu change tous les jours. Nous avons fait une balade en bateau avec visite de grotte et cascade magnifiques. Un bel endroit où nous avons pu faire de belles balades.

The owner is very sweet and carrying. The rooms are basic but nice and clean. There is still a good view at the moment, but a house nextdoor is being built, so this will change at some point.

If you are looking for a peaceful place, where you get a good sleep and rest, it's maybe not the right place. The house/ the rooms are literally right above the chicken barn and there is not only one rooster. I don't mind chickens, but they were too close, too loud, too early and too annoying.

Je suis arrivé à 17h et il n'y avait personne à l'hôtel. J'ai appelé le propriétaire et il m'a dit qu'il n'était pas disponible avant 22h... J'ai dû attendre 5h avant de pouvoir m'installer dans ma chambre. L'hotel ne s'est même pas excusé et quand je lui ai dit que c'était irrespectueux vis à vis de moi il m'a dit que j'aurais pu annuler la réservation si je n'étais pas content. J'ai trouvé son comportement déplorable avec un manque de respect et de professionnalisme. Quel dommage d'être comme cela alors que le pays et la population en générale est adorable. Triste expérience pour moi.

Hôtes incroyables ! L'homestay appartient à Hoan qui est très gentil, mais il est surtout tenu par sa femme, toute aussi adorable. Elle m'a permis de manger à 16h alors que je venais d'arriver (à savoir que si vous venez de Cao Bang le bus ne veut pas aller jusqu'au bout et vous oblige a payer le taxi qui est déjà la et n'attends que cela). Le soir ils m'ont convié à un repas de famille pour le début du Tet, c'était incroyable. Elle m'a réservé mon bus pour aller à Hanoï. Le rapport qualité prix est plus que correct ! Chambre simple qui donne sur un petit balcon et la vue sur le village et le lac, très calme.

De mensen waren erg aardig maar daarmee was echt alles gezegd.

De kamer was heel erg klein, het bed was knetterhard, het huis was van planken die overal kierden en er was geen “binnen” terwijl het heel koud was. Het sanitair was vies en oud. Daarbij bleek er een bruiloft bij de buren van twee dagen met echt hele harde muziek.

This place is an incredibly cozy and friendly spot to stay. Just off the lake and in between the surrounding mountains and paddies, it is a place perfect just to chill and take it easy. For adventure, they offered me a bike to go around for free as well as different activities. The place is simple but quite charming in my opinion and the owners are super friendly!! Also, the food is second to none and the price is so much more than reasonable

+ One of the kindest and most welcoming families I met during my entire trip. This is the main reason for the high rating, even though I didn’t like some other aspects. + Beautiful view over the rice fields. + Good food, but overpriced.

- Bring earplugs! Thanks to the other reviews I had some. The rooster loves to sing early morning. Also, note that there is no real “walls”, it’s just wooden planks around the rooms. There was a group of young people drinking and laughing until midnight on the terrace/dining room (which was just in front of my room), and I felt like I was just sitting with them (although I asked them to be careful with the noise). I couldn’t rest well. Fortunately it was my last night (I stayed there 3 nights). - Bring warm clothes, as room has no isolation, but there was a warm and comfy blanket. - Bathroom could have been cleaner, but for that price (56K for one night) I shouldn’t complain too much. - Apart from the room, everything was really expensive. Breakfast was 50K for few pancakes banana fritters, one instant coffee and few pieces of mango. Lunch and dinner were 150K each, even if it was good. If you want to do the full boat tour, it’s 1’200K (but it seems to be a fixed price). I don’t know for the price of the other homestay, but my guess is that everywhere is expensive. - Location was a bit far (about 1.5 km from the lake), and you walk on the road so it’s not super nice.

No hot water. Had a meal at 5:30pm, then nothing after no access to food or drinks. No staff to ask for anything. Just felt alone had to wonder around for 20 minutes before I found a staff member, to even get in my room.And they charged me 30k just to enter the premises

They were able to make us vegetarian food. The rooms were nice and clean and everyone was friendly :)

L’hôte est adorable, elle nous a vraiment beaucoup aidé déjà pour arriver à son logement et tout le long de notre séjour jusqu’à notre trajet retour qu’elle a réservé pour nous Nous avons fait le tour d’1h à 300000vnd (c’est pas par personne mais bien le total) c’était un super tour bien sympa pour naviguer sur le lac et visiter le temple et une petite île à escalader bien sympa ! Les petits déjeuners et dîners sont vraiment succulents et pas chers du tout ! Je recommande ce superbe établissement très bien placer, avec une très belle vue et particulièrement chaleureux 🫶🏻

Nous avions lu les commentaires, nous le savions et ça n’impacte donc pas notre évaluation mais les chambres ne sont pas isolés, les murs ne montent pas jusqu’au plafond entre les différentes chambres mais c’est pas dérangeant du tout en soit si on est au courant !

De rit met lokale bussen vanuit Ha Giang was een avontuur op zich, maar absoluut de moeite waard voor wat volgde. Ik belandde bij een warme, goedlachse familie in een nette homestay, waar ik me meteen thuis voelde. Ze regelden alles tot in de puntjes: een boottocht langs alle hoogtepunten van het meer (een echte aanrader!), een fietstocht naar de Hua Ma-grot (ook een aanrader!), en zelfs mijn busreis naar Hanoi. Elke maaltijd was heerlijk en werd gedeeld met andere reizigers, wat zorgde voor een gezellige sfeer. De homestay deed denken aan een berghut in de Alpen: eenvoudig, met houten interieur, gedeelde badkamer, en het ritme van vroeg naar bed en vroeg opstaan dankzij het gekraai van de hanen. Communicatie verliep vlot via Google Translate. Let wel: ze zijn momenteel aan het uitbreiden met privékamers met eigen badkamer, dus je hoort ’s ochtends vanaf 7 uur bouwgeluiden. De locatie kon haast niet beter. Het startpunt van de boottocht ligt op slechts 1,2 km afstand en is prima te voet bereikbaar. De fietstocht naar de Hua Ma-grot (6 km) is vrijwel vlak en dus goed te doen.
