אהבנו מאוד את בעלים שם בית מלון . אנשים טובים! ארגנו לנו טיולים באיזור, הכינו אוכל טעים כל בוקר וערב. נוף משגע כיף😊

Très bon accueil du propriétaire et de son épouse qui ont été adorables et qui ont organisé toutes nos excursions pendant les 2 jours que nous avons passé, très belles balades sur le lac, dans la campagne autour et dans les villages, etc. Ils nous ont mis en contact avec un chauffeur parlant l’anglais pour la suite du voyage dans le nord. Dîners et petits déjeuners excellents. Les chambres sont simples mais propres et confortables. Tout le monde est aux petits soins. Et les prix très raisonnables. Un hôtel simple mais à recommander chaudement!

Wij waren er maar 1 nacht ,..op doorreis. Het was er netjes en er was een goed bed. De elektriciteit was uitgevallen ( kan de uitbater niets aan doen) maar om 6u30 met een generator onder je slaapkamer is ook niet prettig wakker worden.

Na in totaal op 10 verschillende verblijven in Vietnam geslapen te hebben was dit verblijf prijs / kwaliteit zeker het duurste. Het ontbijt was niet inbegrepen en ook dat was in verhouding met de andere hotels zeker het duurst.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful, they made sure my transport to and from the hotel went smoothly and helped arrange activities during my stay. Food was exceptional, with good variety for staying multiple nights. Very nice views from the room/terrace, looks out over fields and a mountain.

Difficult to explore the surrounding area on your own if you're not willing to hire a scooter.

Fantastic hosts, hotel clean, beds comfortable with a great view of the the surrounding area. Went to the restaurant for dinner and the food was amazing, the best of our Vietnam trip.

We enjoy a lot our stay in the hotel. Nice and clean room, very friendly staff, refreshing swimming pool, good homemade meal. The owner is good in English that added to our stay additional comfort and interesting time in talks. You can ask owner about boat trip he can organize. It was so beautiful to travel along the river, visit cave and then Ba Be lake.

Great swimming pool very welcome in the heat.

Hosts were lovely, so helpful and spoke excellent English. Vegetarian food was delicious. Didn’t use the pool but it looked great. Would absolutely stay again.

A small gap under the door? No mozzies though, so no big deal at all.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were warmly welcomed by Luan. His speaks English very well and we had an instant connection! We chose a room on the fourth floor with a beautiful view. I recommend a lower floor if you don’t like climbing stairs. The room is well appointed and the bed was comfortable. The terrace has a spacious seating area. Across the road is their swimming pool and restaurant. They offer a set menu for dinner which is cooked by Luan’s wife and was absolutely delicious on the two occasions we dined there. Motorbike rental is available and/or a range of tours are available with private car driver. We opted for a self ride cave visit on the first day and a combined 5 hour Boat, Kayaking and forest walk to a waterfall on the 2nd day. You get to paddle down river through an amazing landscape. Ba be lake has a lot to offer if you’re into adventure activities or just chilling out. We would love to return one day!

Les propriétaires parlent anglais et sont très disponibles, extrêmement gentils et toujours prêts à rendre service. Ils forment une bien belle famille. Nous avons pris tous nos repas au restaurant familial et nous sommes régalés. La piscine est superbe et bien agréable par forte chaleur. Le cadre est magnifique !

La situation du complexe (Hôtel, piscine, restaurant) en bordure d'une petite route qui s'est révélée très passante et bruyante le jour. Le lit beaucoup trop dur pour mes problèmes de dos. Les coqs très proches qui chantent une bonne partie de la nuit (les boules Quies sont utiles).

We loved everything about the Babby legend Hotel from the incredible welcome late in the evening when offered dinner straight away to the incredible view from the room.

We had 3 great nights here. The room is exactly as seen in the pictures, clean and comfortable. Luan is a great host and tour guide! We had two amazing travel days with him in this beautiful area, there are a lot of things to do and Luan makes them very accessible. We also booked with him the driver to and from the hotel, which was very convenient. He took us to have a very good vegetarian lunch in a restaurant he recommended. The food in the hotel restaurant made by Luan’s family is very tasty and versatile, we tasted things we have never tried before. I Highly recommend this hotel, it was one of the greatest experiences of our trip.

IL s'agit d'un hotel en bord de route qui mène au lac (lac à 4km). Il y a 12 chambres. Le propriétaire possède le restaurant en face ou il propose le petit dejeuner et le repas du soir qui est très copieux. Comptez 80 000 vdn pour le petit dejeuner et 220 000 vdn pour le repas du soir/personne. Location de motobike également possible pour 250 000 vdn/jour. En comparaison d'autres endroits au vietnam c'est un peu cher nous avons trouvé. L'hotel n'est pas tout jeune. En revanche le batiment du restaurant et la piscine a environ 3 ans. 1 à 2 jours maxi. Hotel proche de la nature avec une belle vue sur les rizieres. Il peut y avoir des animaux dans les chambres car proches de la nature.

Nous avons été super bien accueillis comme des membres de la famille par le couple. Ils nous ont préparé un bon déjeuner et nous ont organisé une sortie sur le lac Ba Be en longue barque avec notre moto à bord. En plus, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine en fin de journée.

L’emplacement est parfait, des promenades à pied sont possibles tout autour de l’hôtel nous pouvons voir des maisons Tay ou Dao, les gens sont très accueillants et souriants. Le propriétaire de l’hôtel propose des visites du parc, des grottes, des promenades en bateau, il est un excellent accompagnateur et très compétent pour tout organiser. L’hôtel est très bien décoré et les chambres sont spacieuses, les serviettes de toilette sont changées tous les jours. Les repas sont délicieux, je recommande particulièrement le poisson pêché dans le lac et superbement cuisiné.

Our host Luan was very helpful and accommodating. Dinner and breakfast both good and good value and he arranged private boat tour on the lake which made much better use of our time than the regular tours.

Nous avions hésité à aller au lac Ba Be, du fait de son éloignement par rapport aux endroits touristiques du nord du Vietnam mais on pense que ce fût un des meilleurs choix de notre voyage, grâce à Luane. Il a fait en sorte, du début à la fin, que notre séjour se passe au mieux. Il nous a aidé à reserver bus et voiture privée, nous a emmené faire une excursion d’une journée vraiment fantastique et sa famille nous a cuisiné de bons petits plats. Cette adorable famille nous a fait nous sentir comme chez nous. Les chambres sont très propres, spacieuses, confortables et bien équipées. L’endroit est idyllique pour s’évader et avoir une immersion totale dans la nature vietnamienne. Luane est un homme inspirant. Nous vous conseillons à 100% de passer un séjour chez lui et sa famille !

I really enjoyed my stay. My room was comfortable and very spacious. The hotel is very clean and has a restaurant that serves delicious Vietnamese food. It's very close to the beautiful Ba Be lake and quite close to the tranquil village of Pac Ngoi and other surrounding villages. There are very good modern scooters available to rent and the hotel provides tours of the lake and hiking tours around the nearby farms and jungle. The hotel owner, Luân speaks very good English and is very kind and helpful. Him and his wife made me feel very welcome during my stay and were very knowledgeable about the local area.

Host and family were so welcoming and helpful during our stay. Food at their restaurant opposite was tasty - especially the buffalo. Rooms were clean and had all we needed, hot water and surprisingly fast wifi. Definitely recommend.

Words cannot describe our experience in Ba Be legend hotel with the best host Luan and his beautiful family! The hotel is amazing, it is very clean in a good location and with an amazing view to the forest and the river . The food was delicious and Luan made us really feel like home . He treated us as we were a part of his family . He organised for us a tour to the national park and he showed us some beautiful paths in a breathtaking landscapes. We are really grateful and hope some day we meet again

L'hôtel est récent avec des lits confortables et l'eau est chaude. L'hôte est très très accueillant et surtout parle parfaitement anglais. Il a organisé nos trajets jusque Ba Be, et nous a fait visiter les environs.

Friendly staff and very clean

The view from the room was stunning and the beds were comfortable and clean. Luan, the hotel owner spoke great english and was very personable. He tailored and led a motorbike/trekking tour for us for a reasonable price which was so much fun. The restaurant run by his lovely family was affordable and delicious, catering to my partner’s dietary requirements - with a different dish served at each meal. Luan also booked our transport from Hanoi to Ba be / Ba be to Ha Giang. He was the perfect host and I can’t recommend this hotel enough if you’re staying in Ba be.

Le service. J'avais oublié un objet dans la chambre. Le propriétaire me l'a renvoyé par la poste dans un autre hôtel. Chambre très bien avec vue reposante.

La vue devant l'hôtel est sublime. La possibilité d'avoir pu choisir l'étage Grand place pour se parquer. Une très bonne eau chaude dans la salle de bain. La chienne est adorable Un super cadeau de départ

Le prix du petit déjeuner est vraiment très très cher 80 000 Dong par personnes pour avoir un pain avec 2 œufs. La localisation de l'hôtel est un peu loin malheureusement de la petite ville très agréable près du lac ( 20 min en scooter ) vous ne trouverez rien d'intéressant pour manger aux alentours .véhicule obligatoire , il n'y a pas de Grab sur Ba Be Payement par carte mais 3% de frais. Très grande humidité dans les chambres , heureusement mettre la clim mode chaleur permet d'atténuer ceci Attitude un peu trop commerciale du propriétaire. Pas de transparence sur les prix , on doit insister pour avoir les prix du restaurant par exemple.

Wir reisten mit dem Motorrad und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Auf einer kleinen Terrasse konnte man sich gleich mit einem erfrischenden Getränk von der Tagesetappe erholen. Gegenüber des Hotels gab es den dazu gehörigen Raum für Frühstück und Abendessen. Besonderer Dank geht an den Chef des Hauses - wir hatten nur wenig Zeit am kommenden Morgen und er organisierte am späten Abend noch einen Bootsfahrer für uns zwei für 7.30 Uhr - wir waren die ersten auf dem Ba Be See. Idylle pur. Auch der kurzfristige und doch schon ein wenig späte Wunsch für Wäscheservice wurde problemlos erfüllt. Danke!

Majitel a jeho rodina jsou velmi pohostinní, mají výbornou angličtinu. Poskytli perfektní servis, výborné jídlo a skvělé výlety. Určitě doporučuji jako základnu pro prozkoumávání Ba Be parku.

Luan and family were brilliant hosts.... nothing was too much trouble and the recommended walk, boat trip and onward journey booking were excellent. We ate in the (across the road) restaurant twice and it was delicious, fresh ingredients and generous portions. Beer was my favourite Hanoi brand and relatively cheap..... sitting on the balcony of an evening looking out at the hills, rice paddy and fields was a lovely way to end the day. The Lake is a short drive (or cycle but hilly) away and Luan organised a great half-day trip with a private boat... good value and worth doing. We had a triple room which was well equipped, comfortable and quiet.

바베호수와 가까워 보트투어를 하기 편리하고, 스트가 영어가 잘 하고 매우 절하다. 호텔에서 운영하는 식당이 있어 편리하고 음식이 맛있다. 객실도 넓고 깨끗하다.

특별히 아쉬운 점이 없다.

We really enjoyed the hospitality of Luan. He helped us to get the most out of our time in Ba Be. The hotel has everything you need (very spacious rooms with airco and a big bathroom). We enjoyed 2 eveningdinners in the restaurant right across the street. It’s Vietnamese kitchen but we got 2 different delicious meals!

The beds are quite hard (but it’s common in Vietnam so no surprises here) and since the rooms have doors that are linked outside, there is a chance of getting some small animals (mosquitos, gekkos…) in your room.

This hotel has lovely clean rooms, and good views, opposite a river, fields and mountains. The owner is very helpful and speaks good english. Good food in the restaurant too.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön und ist sehr sauber. Luan hilft einem gerne bei allem was man braucht. Wir haben bei Ihm einen Motorroller mieten können. Ein fahrbarer Untersatz ist hier sehr empfehlenswert. Es hat drum herum sonst nicht viel. Das Frühstück und Abendessen ist sehr lecker und landestypisch. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Hotel con vista fantastica sulla risaia difronte. La posizione è ottima per raggiungere il lago di BaBe che dista circa 3km. Luan e la sua famiglia vi accoglieranno calorosamente nella struttura e soddisferanno ogni vostra esigenza (noleggio moto, giro in barca nel lago, ecc.). C'è possibilità di fare una ricca colazione e una cena da cerimonia per andare a letto felici con la pancia piena!

Hôtel tenu par une équipe sympathique qui aide à réserver des transports allers et retours depuis Hanoï. Aussi le gérant organise des excursions, il a été très arrangeant, nous avons effectué celle en kayak qui était magnifique Leur restaurant prépare des repas et petits-déjeuners copieux et très bons !

Wonderful hosts and great location. Luan and his wife Nhi were amazing and made us feel so welcome . We were the only guests so felt like we were in their home. Had a very tasty dinner on site. Luan organised a boat trip on the lake to the cave etc which was great. Highly recommend this place. Lovely big clean room with great view from balcony.

The staff were very happy and most helpful. The room we had was quite spacious and very clean in a quiet location approx 5 mins drive from the largest fresh water lake in Vietnam, Ba Be Lake. Breakfast was in their restaurant just across the road and was quite nice and very adequate. Thank you to all at Ba Be Legend Hotel. 🙏💕

Be nice to have food options at the homestay!

Very affordable rooms that are clean and have a nice balcony/sitting area. A lovely young couple who are very helpful to arrange tours and meals in the hotel. If you need help with getting to or from the hotel to other destinations they are very informed and can recommend transport. A nice base to see Ba Be.

This is definitely one of the best places I've stayed during my trip in Vietnam. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the location was peaceful. It was so lovely to come out of my room to a gorgeous view every morning. Luan and Nhi were brilliant hosts! Luan took me on two guided tours, which included a tour of some nearby caves, Ba Be Lake, and local villages. I also bumped into Luan and Nhi at a local festival and they invited me to eat with them, which was very kind. The restaurant across the road is connected to the hotel. The food was great. I really liked the area. As a solo female traveller I felt very comfortable to explore by myself. I went for a run and a couple of walks alone and really enjoyed the surroundings. Finally, Luan helped me plan the next stage of my trip and gave some great recommendations for places to visit. Definitely recommend a trip to Ba Be and a few nights at Ba Be Legend Hotel.

I had a great time. It might be worth noting that the building does not have an elevator so if you are living with a disability or have mobility issues this could be tricky. Otherwise, a little exercise never hurt anyone 😀

Comfort and staff. Knowledgeable and good English. Nice and quiet place. Overview of a valley from the balcony. Airconditioning in your room can be used as heating if needed. Visiting the caves by motorbike is a must do.

it is a bit remote so no bar hopping at night if that is your thing.
