Room Jordan was located at a small inner courtyard next to main house facilities, which if you want to sit outside is less private. However for short stay room is perfect.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The facilities were immaculate, the bathtub, bedding as well as kitchen facilities were great. We greatly enjoyed the fact that it was exceptionally clean.
A particular staff member , named Cathy was unprofessional and rude to us. 1. She asked us to have a look at the food we warmed up in the kitchen and commented on the food. 2. When we asked to extend our stay , she rudely knocked on our bedroom door demanding that pay instantly. 3. She then complained that we called her at night yet it was stated that we may use the number 24/7. She said that she was asleep and we disrupted her sleep. 4. On the final day, she rudely told us that our stay was over and we should leave. This treatment was quite disappointing however the guest house was outstanding.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026I did book but did not know there was a breakfast option. From the time i arrived and slept, no one came to check on me or even advise that there was a breakfast option. Only got to see the cleaning lady who i returned the keys to when i was leaving. R950 for the room and no breakfast is a bit steep.
I opted for a bigger room at the bottom of the property but noticed a lot of dirt pushed to the corners which looked like it wasnt cleaned properly. The aircon was not heating peoperly and had to keep it on through the night just to stay warm. No one checked up on me or notified me of a breakfast option. If my booking included a breakfast then i actually lost out as i was not notified of this.

Reviewed Oct 29, 2025The common areas were clean, bedding was clean, the rooms we booked were on the small side but not that bad. The area is quite and beautiful. The area is very very very hot and luckily they have an air conditioner.
The ladies who are taking care of the property were nice but did not speak English to accommodate us since we dont speak the language which came across as passive aggressive, it was a struggle to understand what they are saying and communicating your needs. Understanding we live in a democratic country but it would be nice to meet your guests halfway. Inside the bedroom we booked, the toilet is just sitting behind a drywall with no door for privacy or window for fresh air , this was a serious breach of privacy for me. You have to sit in the toilet for the whole bedroom to fill with the aroma of your business😭while the person you booked with is there...There is an extractor fan because there is no window for the toilet,but still its embarrassing🙄. We unfortunately unknowingly booked rooms that were inside (our fault) we were not able to relax as a group of 4 because the rooms are small to gather in one bedroom, so I suggest for a group to book the outside rooms because they have a sitting area.

The shower pressure was terrible and there were no plugs next to the bed to charge our phones.
