الذي لم يعجبني في الموقع كيفية الوصول له الوصول له بالقطار ومكلفه ومشقه ركوب قطار وترك سيارتك الخاصه في المواقف والذهاب الي القطار وحجز تذكره وركوب القطار والنزول من القطار بعد ربع ساعه وأخذ تكسي الي موقع السكن وكان مكلف وقيمة الذهاب 7 فرنك والعوده 7 فرنك والتكسي 25 فرنك نحن وصلنا الساعه متأخره بالليل وتم الاتصال علي تكسي وصل لنا بعد ربع ساعه والله كانت رحله فيها مشقه ونحن كبار فوق 60 سنه وتعبنا من الطريقه للوصول الي الموقع ولم يذكر لنا هذه التفاصيل في موقع الحجز لو كان عندنا علم بالطريقه كان ألغينا الحجز بعد ما تم الدفع تم إرسال لنا رساله أميل يوضح لنا طريقة الوصول وتفاجئنا بطريقة الوصل وكلنا متقاعدين ولا انصح بتاتا للعوائل فيه كانت رحله شاقه ومتعبه للاسف

The stunning mountain view and the quiet surroundings. Lovely and comfortable chalet. WIFI is fast and stable. Hosts Alex and Trin were very accomodating and quick to respond especially our requests for the taxi upon arrival and departure. Location is 10-15 min walk to and from train station so with our luggages we decided to take a taxi.

The pillows were so soft but very flat when you use them. It would have been better if we had those basic kitchen essentials like colander or sift, scissors and (soup) ladle. However it didn't bother us that much.

Kühlschranktür ist kaputt. Wasserhahn in der Küche klemmt und ist alt. Für diesen Preis erwarte ich hier mehr.

The beds were comfortable. It was nice and peaceful.

It’s quiet and has a great view. The bathroom has two showers and two sinks, which is nice. There is also a toilet downstairs, which is convenient. There are three rooms plus a loft, so plenty of space for my family of four.

It’s about a 10 minute walk from town. It’s not an issue for us, but after coming back from a day’s hiking, we were tired and wanted to take a short break before going to town for dinner. That’s the time when I wished the place were closer to town. The facilities were outdated. The door lock for the toilet downstairs doesn’t work well, and my wife almost got locked in. The refrigerator door doesn’t close and a rubber band tied to the side of the refrigerator is being used to keep the refrigerator door closed. The loft is dusty. Fortunately we didn’t need to use it.

With 3 generations, we loved this chalet. In many ways it was our favorite of the trip. As is true in any car-free village (and SO worth it!), the arrival is a bit challenging -- park in the huge Lauterbrunnen lot, good train to Wengen, and then a longish walk to the chalet. I'd advise taxi for less hardy groups. The nearby COOP was great, so we bought and cooked in the lovely kitchen every day. Be sure to do the Mannlichen walk!

Perhaps be a little more specific about the length of walk from the train station. Walking to it with bags in ten minutes seems unlikely. Nonetheless, it's doable and felt shorter every time!

The view is exceptional, the best in Wengen, the place is comfortable and well equipped and Trinh and Alex were very responsive and accommodating. We loved it

Striking 10 out of 10 views from chalet apartment of adjacent snow capped mountains, green valley and waterfall

Host would not allow me to cancel my reservation without charging me the full price after I mistakenly booked the unit on my iPhone in a rush not realising how large it is and that the village is a walking village only - there were only two of us that occupied this 3-bedroom unit. We also struggled to find the unit and the lock box.

This is our third time staying with Alex’s family, and each time has been a wonderful experience. The home is warm, comfortable, and perfectly suits us as a family. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we need, and we truly feel at home every time we stay here.

We loved staying at Chalet Aargovia. Wengen is beautiful. The home has an amazing view. It is perfect for families. The host Alex was very easy to communicate with. He was quickly able to answer the few questions we had. We found the walk to and from the station enjoyable. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was lots of space for our family.

We knew before we booked that there was no washing machine. Alex very helpfully directed us to a self service laundromat in Wengen and we could easily sort out our washing.

Location was nice. Not too far from town center, yet a nice location to relax and not be disturbed from the town crowd.

The alarm going off in the lower level below the unit, but the owner was kind enough to address the issue once I informed him about it.

The owners were very easy to work with and very responsive. The view from the house was amazing!!!

It was not an option to pay the city tax via card or online payment.

This accommodation was clean We found a rat at the living room & we informed the owner Our rented car could not reach this chalet, only via train from Interlaken station so it was useless to have the car during our stay

The uninterrupted views of mountains and waterfalls are amazing from this property. Rustic chalet feel was really nice, and host Alex was friendly and helpful with advice on things to do. Great place for a family. Our kids loved playing the board games provided at night. Wengen as a town was very well equipped for a stay with kids.

Alex was a great host, he is very responsive and very clear in explaining what we can use in the property not to forget very friendly and approachable. The house is very beautiful, we could get a clear and wonderful view of the mountains across.

Thanks for Alex and Trinh’s hospitality and assistance. They were always there when we needed help. The view was breathtaking and we had a wonderful time.

Enough can’t be said about the views! This exceptional setting is that in which postcards are made. The home is rustic yet comfortable and the hosts are very welcoming people.

It was a very spacious chalet with amazing views and lots of character. Really comfortable for a family.

Beautiful location and view, very comfortable chalet and we enjoyed relaxing. The eggs and flowers were a nice added touch.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Stunning view from balcony, cooking with the view of stobbach fall was so nice. The place was very clean and has everything we need, we enjoyed our stay.

Unparalleled!! Perfect getaway for friends and family in awe inspiring location! The house is a delight with every comfort you need. The scenic surroundings and an awe inspiring Mountain/Valley view! We just couldn't have enough of it. We totally recommend.

only 1 bedroom out of 4 had windows with view, others were directed to the wall.

The house is too good for two of us. It's nice and clean and located in the best area， the view from the balcony is so great! The owner Alex and his family are so nice and we are so happy to have them as friends. We are very looking forward to stay in Chalet Aaegovia again.

One of the more the dropping views that I have ever seen in my entire life. We had to force ourselves off the deck and into bed because all we wanted to do was gaze at the view. the owners were great, and gave us good advice on hiking activities.

Alex is a great host. Everything was up to or more than our expectations. The apartment has everything you'd need, the views are exceptional. Had a great time there and we are definitely coming back.

There is nothing that we didn't like.

Chalet Aargovia is a beautiful property, which is very well maintained. The property is well furnished and has a captivating view of the mountains, Wengen and Lauterbrunnen from the balcony. Although the property is about 12-14 min walk from the station, but it is very well worth it. Alex and Trinh were great welcoming hosts and brought us some fresh eggs from their chicken too. We would definitely return if in the area.

Breathtaking view from the balcony, Alex was very helpful and he and his wife even gave us some fresh eggs from their chickens during our stay. It is a large house with plenty of room, about a 10 min walk from the train station at Wengen. Very quiet at night and we would love to return one day
