You occassionally get to hear the lovely sounds of someone practicing the piano downstairs. A nice, quiet location but still close to shops and the City Centre. Facilities are always clean and warm.

Reviewed Dec 15, 2025The hosts shouted at us in front of our young grandchildren when I requested that I wear my shoes as I am partially crippled and I find it very difficult to walk without them. They were aggressive. They insisted we leave and we found great accommodation elsewhere.

the property has a rule of locking gates at 2230 sp no good if you were out later. Not a problem for us as just stopping one night after a long flight.

Had a tv with apps you could log in your own accounts (watched rugby) and Netflix was already logged on. Easy access to bathroom and toilet which was also very clean and bodywash/shampoo provided also.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2025Excellent location, walkable to city and to University, and convenience store and amazing Indian cheap & cheerful restaurant nearby. The house is well set up for guests, with good wifi, tv in room, clean and tidy and friendly hosts.
The night I was there was very hot and humid. A fan was provided and needed & windows needed to be kept open. It was absolutely fine but if you are here in summer and don’t cope well with heat, be aware this room doesn’t have AC or mosquito nets on windows.

If they could let guests to bring sleepers to wear in the kitchen as floor is cold but shoes not allowed in the house have to leave them at the door
