It was easy to find, and easy parking, great communication to get the after hour access- also there was another backpacker there, that didn't know about this, so I called for him and person opened the reception. Good looking kitchen and common room area, I didnt use them though, so cant feedback on those. Had enough storage space, a little fridge that was turned off when I got there and enough space to store luggage, also enough power plugs and a tv

Did not like the room, no window apart from a top light that was drafting looked like rusty at the top and watermarks running down the walls. 💥Didn't like the bathroom and showers, one hand towel for all visitors to use, and someone left their toothbrush there to charge🤮 Also seals of the white wear dirty and worn, bathroom walls also stains from running down water on it. A sign that stated use old rugs- none to see,not sure who was supposed to use them👎 🕚It was very noisy, doors kept slamming and I dont know who or what was right next to me, but you could hear everything through the walls Loud people coming back after 11 whistling through the floors and having a conversation right outside my room Has a bit of a prison feel to it. Definitely would not want to holiday here or bring my child along

Kitchen was so dirty: people didn’t clean their mess, the sink was plenty of water with food. We couldn’t cook there because it was disgusting. The fridge smelled bad; bed was uncomfortable, we were two persons sleeping in a queen bed and we woke up with pain in our back.

The room size was adequate, and the air conditioning worked well. Place is centrally located

The reception experience was disappointing. I had a late check-in at around 7:30 - 7:45 pm, but there was no greeting, smile or basic courtesy from the staff member. I was simply asked, “The reservation is under whose name?” A simple “Hello, how can I help you?” would have made a much better first impression. Some basic customer service and hospitality training would be beneficial. The kitchen/common area also needs refurbishment and better attention to cleanliness and maintenance. I also became unwell with cold and cough symptoms after drinking the water at the property, so I would recommend that management check the water quality and hygiene standards.

My Bed Broke and was in poor condition prior to stay.

les lits grincent beaucoup, cafard dans la chambre, éponge sale, pas de telecomande pour gérer le chauffage dans ma chambre, pas d'ascenseur, le personel ne frappe pas toujours avant d'entrer dans les chambres. Salle de bain sombre et sent la moisissure

The location is about 10-minte walk to the Transport Center Station.

The facility is below expectation, even if with a budget price.

Disorganized I’ve never had this issue at another hostel. They came in and threw my stuff away (one thing difficult to replace) because they thought I had checked when I did the whole recheck-in early that morning. They said because I was in the wrong bed.

Central to everything. I paid for what I sort of expected.

The beds need replacing seriously! Old spring bed, v v creaky at night. No good for me or room mates who have to listen to creaking every time u move.

Niets! Bed kraakt, is hard, geen licht bij het bed, geen stopcontact bij het bed, boven mijn hoofd raast de airco, waardoor het veel té warm is. Douche lekt, alles is verouderd in de badkamer. Gehele backpacker ziet er versleten en vies uit. Griebisbende, ben 1 dag eerder vertrokken.

Zie boven. Maar verwacht niets van Backpackers of booking.com, maakt booking.com niets uit, zolang ze er maar geld aan verdienen. In 2025 hostel Alicante die niet bestaat,staat nog steeds op de site van booking.com om te boeken....

Nothing there to be liked. No proper blanket, smelly carpet, bad pillows, smellyband stained and sticky carpet, poor bed abd cot and everything is poor.

Good value for money. Complimentary tea and coffee. Parking available.

It could have done with a clean in common areas.

Staff barged in to clean the toilet at 8.30pm. Room was very stuffy with no window and extractor fan in the Bathroom didn’t work. Someone banged on the door at 4.30am asking what time I was leaving when I was staying another night. Ridiculously expensive for a bad experience.

Excellent location, close to FMG Stadium while on the same road as SkyCity. Easy to locate, very small carpark on a first in first serve basis but luckily we got the last park so we just walked to the game and watched the traffic as we went.

The car park situation was the main fault with the property but expected with the inner city location.

The door had a lock, the heater was good.

Noise, door slamming all night, stained carpets, dirty walls, duvet and sheet were ancient. No top sheet on the bed, broken curtain. Bathrooms bare minimum. Felt like a detention centre.

The place could benefit from a slight renovation in some areas, but overall it still offers very good value for money. Considering the price, the standard and amenities exceeded our expectations.
